Dear sir

Now i am paying rs250/ pm for having hd setup box 10 hd channels and 300 sd channels whether i am watching or not which is immaterial on less cost.

In this new tariff for 200 channels (100 free channel+100 pay channels) will hv to pay rs500/ approximately. where is the consumer benefits? Why should we pay for channels (Pay channels) when they are getting revenue thru advertisements.

For example in lower middle clas and villages, people are watching mainly serials, movies, certain extend kids, small portion devotional. These major usages by our people in india. Sports, english movies, english news are watching by upper middle class and higher.

We look at first category in south. Major role played are sun group, vijay group, jaya tv and small portion zee, mega etc. These are pay channels as categorised by trai. Which means these players are getting more revenue than other free channels.

When lower revenue players are providing their channels are free why can't these players providing free instead of pay channels. Is it fair on trai part?

Trai supposed to regulate these problem where customers are paying very high.

If any person choose the only above (Sun, vijay, jayys, zee, raj, mega, etc), we hv to pay around rs110 to 125 +gst. Which will come approximately rs 278/- (153+125) + gst of 125 + every 25 channels rs20/ additional chareges which willl worked out around rs300/ per month whereas we are paying only rs200/ including other languages pay channels. (Hindi, telugu, malayalam, kannada,, etc).

Same problem in north, they will hv to choose sony, zee, star groups.

What way it is helping consumers? It will help broadcausters only for making money. They are utilizing the consumer weakness, trai also helping them either directly or indirectly.

Request trai, first remove pay channel concept like other partners

Instead trai can fix the charges based on choosing no of channels like 100, 150, 200, so on. Which is meaningful. Now 100 channesl 154 includive of all like that 175 for 150 channels, 200 for 200 channels like based on customer choice.

Present tariff system will not help for middle class people. They will hv shell out more money for channels as mentioned above.

Will trai consider this? Kindly rework the tariff for the benefit of consumer if trai really interested on customer welfare.

    Dear sir,
    There are two product activated in aur d2h id no[protected] we have requested to block one product but its not done we have called up to customer care so many time but there is no response at all today i have called again customer care executive saying that your one product is deactivated then we have recharge aur d2h for about 400 rupees after confirming with customer care executive but still now we are facing same problem there are both product activated and also its showing that you have insufficient balance in your account kindly rectify the problem as soon as possible.

      Not able to modify package of videocon d2h. Have emailed so many times to the company but revert does not address the issue. Customer support line are always busy and when connected they disconnect or say modify on site but site is not working or selection is not getting modified. Logged complain no[protected]

        We want to select package, but can't do by websites properly, we feel the right information but website shows its wrong..
        Other side custome care services are not proper, not given satisfactory answer.
        From many days i face this problem, my tv is off.. Hw can i active my services. I want justice sir at any how from 1 month i am suffer from this situation. Wrost services of videocon d2h.

          Trai has revised tariff of channels as free and pay channels which leads very expensivebto consumers compare with present system. When channels broadcausters are generating revnue the advt why they are charging whereas some of them telecasting freely though thry hv low revenue. It is not fair. Trai should eemove pay channels concept which will help.

            We are airtel dth customer. Before new rules interduced by trai we were seeing all our favorite hd & sd channels up to rs.250. But after 1 february 2019 we are compeled to pay up to rs.500 for these channels because of ncf charges of rs.153 & bifurcation of hd channels. Before this we pay only rs.99 (My plan 99). We are helpless & paying more for seeing 50% less channels. Please resolve the issue.

              Sir i am a operator of agra sir digi cable not given my id and they dont give my packages setup system, so can i set packages on customer set up box when digi company dont give the id and password of packages system, digi company people say that they can give my id and password on 1 april and they tell you can give your customer form and i can recharge it

                Airtel is not providing free channels and for the free channels it says that the charges will be levied. Iam unable to understand why airtel is charging for free channels, when 100 channels are free to select under nfc of rs.130. I am not able to view any free channels now even though i have paid rs.130 towards nfc.

                Kindly help me to resolve the issue immediately.

                  I am unable to remove or add my free channels and my siti channels are not included in my list but is still showing forcibly to me and i am charged for these channels (Network capacity fee and free channel fee) i want to remove these and add some other channel. Right now the app provided is pretty much useless i am required to login to web for every thing please improve the app so that i could select remove from app only.

                    The network capacity fee should not be charged as it affect common people

                    Earlier the cost of cable was around 350 but now with the new system network fee and pack charges is not affordable

                    The cost of some movie / serials are not cheap, mostly English movies, wherein the cost is above 15rs

                    Please reduce the network capacity fee for well being and for everyone mostly to lower income group people, it will be helpful

                      Hello Team,

                      As per the trai rules I selected multiple channels of my choice I observed my earlier pack of Rs. 399 was inexpensive than the one I want to buy now. If I am selecting the channels on your trai website it too cost me more.

                      I use to watch all Marathi HD channels and sports channels and many movie channels in just 399Rs. But by choosing individual channels it goes past 500Rs.

                      Please have a look in policies. This is cheating with the customers by telling them to switch the packs.

                          In my areas cable operators stops broadcasting of channels they only broadcasting free channels how fair this is?
                          Before new package our mnthly bill 230rs and now bill is 350 around just for 20 channles this is not fair... Trai new package system is not helpful for common people it will be more burdain to us please think abt it and fix channels base as low as possible

                            Can you justify as to why you have unncessarily poked into a sytem which
                            Was working smoothly?
                            I was paying rs460 pm for viewing nearly 350 channels. You have messed up
                            This with the new rules, whereby i will have to shell out more than rs.1500 for the same. Also fta channels are not totally covered. What is needed is not provided by the operator.
                            The public will be highly grateful if you can revert to the old system which will be of immense help.
                            The new rule only favours the braodcasters.
                            We deserve justification for your act.

                              Dear sir/madam,
                              I have a independendent dth subscriber of freedom 1999 pack. Company has promised to provide many channels in this pack. But comany has stopped hd and sd channels from 6th february 2019 which were provided by company. Contacted to customer care reason was told by them was trai rule. But our package was implement long term and started before implementation of trai rule. But no answer was given and package has been stopped.
                              Plz lookinto the matter and help in providing our subscribed channels.

                                I am a dth subscriber of independent tv since september 2018 with 1999 freedom pack. Service provider has stopped many sd and hd channels from 6 february 2019 which were in our pack. We contacted many time customer care. But no satisfactory reason given.

                                  Sub:sony subscription packs not available on hathway

                                  Sony broadcaster bouquets for sports and sony ten 2 sd, sony ten 3 sd are not available to select in hathway. As per trai guidelines customer can choose the required channels or bouquet packs.

                                  Without the channels or bouquets availability, how can a customer get his right?

                                  No fun in india having authorities like trai, you make viewers suffer with no proper monitoring on service providers like hathway. Shame on trai for implementing such decisions without monitoring if the service providers are ready to implement such rules.

                                    I have above referred vidiocon d2h @ home. I have selected my own plan but in basic plan i want to add only 25 fta channel but unable to select so as its online website freez it at 100 channel which un-necessarily hamper my wallet for further channel selection. This is purely violation of trai rules and recommendation. Also many of bouquets mentioned on trai website is not in selection list on its official site.

                                      Before the policy of trai for choosing selected channel, i was paying 250 per month for hathway cable, i was getting almost all channels possible, but choosing selected pack is expensive. The hathway provided packs are not giving channels of my choice.. Even in the pack of rs 450 i am not getting as much channel as before.

                                      All cable consumer are finding this new policy expensive. The new policy is not at all helping the cunsumers.

                                        I am a senior citizon 66years of age and i am in f-11a (G-8 area) hari nagar new delhi - 110064. I got cable connection through sky line cable tv shop no:5, inside db-block market, hari nagar new delhi - 110064. Having phone no: [protected].
                                        I paid rs. 360/- for the cable services but i am not getting the channels connected for which i paid the money. After having complaining them for over 4 days, i went to their office today at about 11.30 am and was subject to abuses and dirty words by their employees names mohan and alam. Even the other staff at the cable office was there almost to hit me phyically instead of resolving the issues. I tried the customer care numbers of den [protected] which was connected but got disconneted in mid way. Even the siti costomer care [protected] did not respond. Are we there to get physically hurt if we ask for channels for which we paid money???
