Dear Sir,

Sub : Irregular / Interrupted availability of channels in my Television.
Ref : My subscription No.GA[protected] connections).

With reference to the above, I wish to bring to your kind notice that the availability of channels to me are not regular from 5th February onwards. Some channels are available some time, after some time some channels show the remarks “ You are not authorized to view the channel”

I have made an annual payment Rs.5760/- for 2 connections with additional 2 months extra scheme from November 2018 to December 2019 and as on 01/02/2019 an amount of Rs.4526.00 stands credit in my account as per your records. As per TRAI guidelines, the subscriber who has made advance payment for annual plan is eligible to continue to the stipulated period without any change of tarifs. The said provisions copied from the TRAI site copied and pasted below for your kind ready reference.

11. What if annual subscription charges are paid by a subscriber in advance?

In case a subscriber has availed any scheme with advance charges paid for future lock-in period like an annual plan the distributor shall continue to provide services for such committed period without any increase in price / charges and without altering the other terms of subscription. The distributors cannot make any changes that entails any disadvantage to the subscriber in such cases. However, if the subscriber wants to switch over to a new package after 1st February, 2019 then the proportional balance amount of existing package as on the date of switch over may be adjusted for the new package prices after 1st February, 2019.

When you are aware the above provisions, you should have told me that I can continue the existing package, instead, sent me SMS asking me opt for the new package and myself, without knowing the above provisions opted for Kerala Silver KSD05. Even that also not provided me fully.

In the above circumstances, I request your goodself to kindly arrange to cancel my above option of KSD05 and provide me all channels which I was getting on 31/01/2019.

    Perhaps the worst DTH service provider in the world. I have been availing this service since 2009 but the experience this time has been extremely painful, frustrating with helpless feeling. On 4th Feb 2019 I had recharged INR 1100/- my d2h account 4766031 for the two connections in my home. Even after that the connections were not restored. Wondering whether as per the new rules and regulations of TRAI Videocon had not set the plans, tried to get in touch with them on [protected] but the experience was different and difficult to digest. The number was not ringing and after dialing close 20-30 times, could connect but the UVR took me to a call centre executive who had an apology for me as a solution and asked me if I would require any other assistance from him. Funny and frustrating but it is the truth. Tried the internet on www.d2h.com but it was not working. Tried to connect the call centre till midnight but could not connect. Feeling frustrated and cheated raised a consumer complaint to TRAI but till date I have not received any reply from them. Next day evening tried the same way but with no luck. On the third day I was fortunate enough to get connected through the helpline at midnight after several attempts and a gentleman somehow restored by d2h connection on one television but was not successful for the other one under the same customer Id and registered a complaint with an assurance to resolve it at the earliest. Till date nothing has happened and struggle to connect to call centre persists and if I had been lucky enough to connect them it was just till the queue and automatic disconnection. Today just few minutes back got hold of an executive at the call centre and after shouting on her, she took the permission to transfer the line to her supervisor but the transfer never happened and as usual the line was disconnected. The experience was the same in the subsequent attempt to reach a phantom supervisor. Now I am feeling really cheated and helpless submitting myself to the ochlocratic DTH service providers with an inactive monitor.

      We have gtpl dth connection and now we are offered few packages from which we have to make our selection. They are not giving us facility of aa-la-carte. We are forced to select from their given packages. And spevially there are no good packaged where english channels are offered. Kindly look into this matter and let us knoe why cant we select our desired channels.

        Beginning of feb 1, 2019 was the day for migrating to new trai packages by all cable and dth operators. Sufficient time was given for all the dth operatos but, the tata sky did not heed to trai's order and took it's own sweet time till the last week of jan 2019 and gave just ten days to choose the "stupid packs". Lots of packs which are curated by tata sky are hopeless and customers are forced to choose broad caster packages which has resulted in 80% increase in the tariff packages.
        Under whose guidance these changes were made? Impression was given in such a way that, the subscription fees comedown drastically with this trai new rules. This is totally a wrong information and i have to pay 80% more to the same channels package which i had earlier.
        Not a good move by trai.

          I want to create my own pack at my videocon d2h account according to trai 25 dd channels are mandatory but videocon d2h provide 100 own channels in basic package and not permitted to select unselect then i called to costumer care they told me trai has changed rule 100 basic channels mandatory besides 25 and told you can't select another 75 free channels.             Videocon d2h is not entertaining MY request regarding the activation of new base pack of customer ID[protected] since 29.01.2019. I had tried more than 100 times. Customer care is repeatedly denying and telling kindly call after one hour as there is some technical errors due to the upgradation of software. Kindly resolve my problem at the earliest as I am not able to watch the TV programs because I have not recharged sincecmay month due to higher monthly expenses.

              As per the advertisements we made our selection of channels on our digital tv connections (2 Nos). Effective 1st Feb 2019 all channels as per our selection started working fine. After 1 week most of the channels stopped working. We tried calling the Airtel helpline number almost everyday but there was no way we could reach them, even after holding on the line for over 15 mins. Finally after a lot of effort we were able to reach the Airtel helpline number today i.e 12th Feb 2019. Upon speaking to the representative I was told that I am being charged over Rs 700/- per month for my 2 connections which are not showing channels that I selected. The representative then asked me to switch to a channel which was supposed to be in my selected list and when that channel did not show and he had no answer, he pretended that he could not hear me.

              The way these operators are treating and cheating their customers in broad daylight is no less than a pick-pocketing.

              I hope some strict action is taken against the company, the company should be penalized and I should be compensated for my loss.

                i have been a customer of videocon d2h for past 3 years. so far i had been using their elite plans with annual subscriptions and had no probs.
                presently when i tried to switch over to the new make your own plan concept as under TRAI guidelines i have faced a lot of problems
                1. d2h has made it compulsory and unable to choose our own choice of free to air channels in the basic tier.
                2. customer care calls do not connect
                3. no proper response from customer care personnel
                4. they respond by saying either the server or app is down and call back in an hour.
                5. online complaint registration has been disabled on their website.
                6. no response to mail sent to their customer care mail address.
                the above has been situation for the past one week. connection has been interrupted.

The local contact person does not know anything. Today I could finally able to upload my pack but not able to see my pack.lt seems that the pack is not properly uploaded.

                    I am Airtel DTH user having Customer ID [protected]. Airtel has stop almost my all channel though it's continuous charging the amount. I customised my plan as per instruction provided by Airtel and submitted. Airtel accept the request but not activised the PLAN.
                    I am continuously calling at customer care no, but after prolong telephonic instruction no executive receiving the call.
                    I also mailed my complaint at [protected]@airtel.in but not received any acknowledgement or solution.

                      Ucn cable operator force us to watched some channels. As trai said that consumer can chose free or paid channels on limit of 100 network capacity.
                      But ucn operators are not giving that right to their customers, they give us 75 to 80 free channels and when we add some paid channels then our network capacity is increasing, its much costly for customer. And they not giving any options to deselect unwanted fta channels, they release an app to choose the channels but there also not given any option for select and deselect fta channels.

                      If this new rules only for helping consumer then why the operators not give us the right to choose the channels.

                      Please help.

                          I am having dish tv connection with vc no. [protected]. Dish tv has been removed all channels from 1st feb’2019 to 9th feb’2019.in terms of trai guidelines, the customers are required to select their plan. I have tried to change the plan through the website of dish tv on many occasions. I regret to say that website is not supporting the change of plan. Due to technical snags at their end, i am not able select plan. When they are not able to provide platform for changing the plan, they cannot change plan at their own. I tried their customer care but didn’t get connect due to line always busy. On sunday 10th feb’2019 at last i selected my choice channels in their website by login for rs. 282.40 it includes free to air channels. They have update my plan as per me. But i can’t watch the free to air channels. I have complained for the same but they told me that i have to pay for the engineer visit. Engineer will align the antenna for free to air channel. I can’t understand that pay channels can watch without alignment of antenna and alignment required for free to air channels.

                          The operator is taking unilateral decision and intervention of trai is required to stop such acts which are not in the interest of customer. The operator is trying to take advantage and mincing more money from customers without customer consent.

                            Am not sure if any official is even bothered by the worst customer care experience subscribers are facing. First it take ages to get connected later when calls get connected it’s gets drops, if we want to speak to seniors while transferring calls are disconnected.

                            After lot of struggles if by luck we are able to speak to senior they will drop calls or advise they will call back which never happens

                            Am trying to activate packs through website it’s not happing it’s been asked to contact customer care.

                            It’s been more than week complaint has been logged but no response #[protected]

                            Have left with no choice but to change it to tata sky issue is not resolved with in a weeks time

                            Rule has introduced as pay for what you watch, but why do we have to pay 130+tax for network capacity even if it is below 100 channels and combination of free channels and other packages? why is that 130+tax is extra charges if we want to pay for what we watch? why cheating entire India by looting money from people?

                              I have 4 dth connection on same account number [protected]. One primary connection and 3 secondary connection. My rental pack is 315 on primary and 175 on rest 3 secondary connection. All of sudden my secondary connection [protected]-002 is raised from 175 to 587. I tried to contact airtel customer care from many days but no response is given from airtel. Even on there dth customer care number 12150 even after 7 mins of hold call is not connected to customer care executive.
                              Even recharge benefits are not provided to customer, i recharge according to there offer for 710 but till date amount of 40 is not added in my airtel ac [protected], this was supposed to be credited within 48 hours

                                Under new regulation by trai, after selecting company packs for eg zee, star&sony & some necessary channels it is getting expensive than what it was before.. I am a tata sky user and by my basic plan was around 420₹ with same channels under one pack with hd subscription.. Now after the new regulations its going upto 600₹.. This is taking heavy tolls on our pockets.. This is totally a fail concept by trai..#.

                                I have a connection with dishtv VC No: [protected], I have submitted the new pack and also did a recharge of 340rs but still its been 2 days and the services are not activated it still shows no balance screen. The customer care number and nodal office numbers are also not working please resolve the issue at the asap.
                                I didn't have select any channel but Dish tv charges me ₹200 as NCF fee. If I select any channel ( somewhere around 25 channels) my bill goes up to ₹430. Do some things about ₹200 because you have said that it will be roughly ₹130. If it's ₹130 then bill get lowered.

                                  I m fed up from d2h videocon operator. They keep us harassing me.. After. New trai regulations regarding tv cables.. Which is effective from 1-2-2019. I my as a consumer... Really, disappointed and disheartened from videocon d2h behaviour.. Mei baar baar, channels subscribe karta hu.. And d2h baar baar kehte hai jab mei call karta hu ki.. Apne channels subscribe nhi kiya... What's this? And they keep pressuring me to take there own package.. I think, wo jaan mujke kar rahe.. Pareshan taki hum unka package le le. I m very much in distress. Government ne humhare liye benefits ke liye yeh new rules laiye, hai naki... Hum unkeliye. Take strict action. Kya karo mei ab.😧😧😧😧. Now.. I m quitting this operator.. Videocon d2h operator is worst operator now. They work for their own benefits. Sorry to say. But is it true.

                                    There is no benefits for middle class people by bringing this trai new packs the service provider also take their network charge upto 200 so what can we expect from this new government # trai just they making fool by giving a advertising of why you comparing apples into oranges and all that. If trai new packs price is 200 so we have to give network charge 200 total 400. The old service provider pack is much better then this

                                      Being a old customer of videocon d2h, while i have opted for several channels as per new rule of trai, it is shown in the website of videocon d2h that the 100 free-to-air channels have been made mandatory for the general customers which is against the new rule where this is not at all mandatory. And due to this the total monthly charge is increasing. Please look into the matter.

                                        On Feb 8th 2019, I recharged my videocon d2h account for 1000 rupees thru netbanking on www.d2h.com website, So far the amount is not credited for the recharge donein my videocon account.

                                        I called multiple times d2h videocon customer care number, it;s very hard to reach them and even by chance I reach them, they say to wait for 36 hours and will work and have some issue or the other to raise a complaint...I even tried today Feb 12th to raise complaint, they said some technical problem and cannot raise the compliant, ., ,

                                        This is really very frustrating after TRAI brought these new guidelines and looks like D2H people are not cooperating...Earlier their service was fine...Can you pls check this and get my amount back or get it recharged...
