I am consumer of videocon d2h consumer id 13111663. I have selected my channel packs according to new trai rules on 31/01/2019 but still my services are stopped. I am trying to contact customer care of d2h since last week but i am not able to contact them. Also their website is so poorly designed and it is not working properly. Firstly otp is not coming any how if otp comes the login page is showing blank. I am not able to check my account.
TRAI customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
We are living in bhadaj circle and we have GTPL connection and I think they charged more against trial rule so I don't think it's worth to customer still you make for us very good

Iam hereby addressess you that the price of channels like movies ok and mtv India is going to increase.
These channels prices are 1and 3 ruppee but after 03_03_19 it's price will be increase to 15 please address it that it's unfair

I am using airtel DTH with customer I'd [protected] and chooses my package on 27-Jan-2019 but TV is closed from 1-Feb-2019. I contacted the customer care they always provide me a new deadline which is of no use. Hope to see a favourable and quick response.
I am murugaiyan from tamilnadu. My airtel dth number is [protected]. I want change my package last three days and contact customers care. But there is no response. I tried many times. It is very worst and till now could not change my package. Please take action against airtel dth and change my pack also debited my money refund. Please take action

    Dear sir
    My customer id : 56589254 videocon d2h, having updated the selected channels by me on 31.01.19 the service is not yet activated where as the balance is reducing daily. I am unable to view my selected channels for past 8 days. They don't pick up the call no on customer care no :[protected]. They don't resolve the issues, nor do acknowledge the emails.

    Kindly arrange to refund money for airing preferred channels.

    Change of plan without consent

    Dd sports is a free channel but still not shown by ICC cable pune at lullanagar.continous calls are not been responded.really harassing us.have sunscribed to basic channels.even they are not seen.helpline doesnt work
    Changed the package but Airtel not implementing the same customer service number not reachable even after 60 minutes wait
    Since Feb 1 channels are not visible which I subscribed instead channels with higher price hd channels a to e and balance getting reduced. 3 days when I call customer care after long hold or no response certain times they say they are unable to help me and need to wait for few hours which doesn't get over and when asked about penalty they deny it
    Request TRAI to provide clarity as to whether customers of cable TV operators can choose a combination of free and paid channels for the base pack cost. Ofcourse, we understand that If we choose more paid channels, then we have to pay the cost of the channel.

    My cable TV operator at Bangalore, states that, as per new TRAI regulation, a customer has to pay a Network capacity fee of Rs.130 per month for the first 100 channels and further, compulsorily only choose from the (FTA)free-to-Air channels as part of the base pack and subsequently, pay in addition, an amount of Rs.20 for each slab of 25 channels thereafter.

    While I am prepared to pay for the additional channels at the slab rate stipulated by TRAI and also will abide by the TRAI directives, I Request TRAI to provide clarity as to whether customers of cable TV operators, can choose a combination of free and paid channels as part of the first 100 base pack, instead of being compelled to opt for the 100 channels from only within the FTA(Free-to-Air) channels. Ofcourse, we understand that, If we choose more paid channels within this first 100 base pack, then we have to pay the cost of each paid channel and I am prepared to pay for it.

    A clarification in this regard will help many cable TV customers like me to choose the the channels of our choice at an optimum price.

      Request you to please communicate with videocon d2h either through, phone call to videocon d2h on[protected], or through website with login id and password and or through their mobile app. I dare you you will fail in all the attempts in contacting with d2h.
      With lot o[censored]ntiredly efforts of contacting d2h by all means i lodged complain and through portal and received sms on my rtn stating d2h will get back to me at earliest. That earliest time has not come since 48 hours.
      Trai should have done all the trails, various permutation and combination even what will happen when all of sudden so many people will call to customer service of dth provider.
      I would suggest trai should open the lines by themselves and resolve the issues of individual customers.

      In sundirect they say nfc-130, but their Tamil dpo1&dpo2 is without adding subgroup channel price.they are adding their channels in no cost value.because of this price reduction affect other dth, cable mso, lco operators.example sungroup Tamil pack is 40, this value is make big variation in other platforms.so kindly take necessary action.thanks.

        I have d2h service of videocon i had recharged for the service on 23rd jan 2019 & during that period there was no information for the new tariff on videocon d2h website suddenly on 5th feb 2019 they have disconnected my all channels and after tremendous calling from 5th feb 2019customer personnel answered my call on 8th feb 2019 informing me that the channels are disconnected due to new tariff when asked the same should have been informed at the time of taking recharge they are just misleading

        Irresponsible call center - called D2H call center on March 14th as some of the channels have been taken out from my package for more then more then a month now and when I try to call help desk . they don't have any information and they are really playing around with customer. Call was kept on transferring without my notice and every time i need to explain every-time to new executive.

        if as per TRIA if you have taken out the channels from Feb onwords what happen to the money which was recharged till March 16, 2019?

            I am a consumer of airtel tv (Dth) having consumer id [protected]. I had selected my own plan on[protected] and was given request/ref. No. 172825 after selecting the plan. I had a balance of more than rs.400/- on this date. The tariff for the new plan is around rs.400/- per month. I was told that the new plan will be activated on[protected]. However, till this morning[protected] i continue to get the old package @rs.612/- per month. I had made complaints over telephone and was told every time that the new plan would be activated the next day. I had also sent my complaint by e-mail. Kindly help.

              This is going to be a long mail about my pain, harassment and mental agony i gained for using airtel services for more than 4 years.

              If you have time please read the same the feedback will make you understand the reason for airtel losing its charm. It could be one million customer experience written to you.

              1) my mobile number [protected] is not registered to network from 31st jan 2019 13:45 onwards. When i try to connect through manual settings i got an error as "unable to connect"

              2) i contacted your call centre they informed my sim has some technical issue, due to some system upgradation and suggested me to visit the nearest airtel showroom

              3) on 02nd feb 2019 @ around 4:30 pm i went to airtel showroom located in venus-perambur, chennai. They provided me a harassing service and they only talking to themself on personal matters ignoring the customer. Mr. Sathish had further treated me as i am illiterate and quoted they can't solve the issue only technical team can do so after a long argument he had provided me a sim with a gesture resuming he is offering it to a beggar. He assured to activate the services within 4 hours by writing a mail to 121.

              4) on the same day before i left the showroom ensured that both the 121 helpdesk team and airtel stores to receive my mail asking for activating the sim immediately. From then we have received multiple calls and everyone starts saying various reasons (Irony is they don't know the previous customer conversation)

              5) if my bank accounts and data are hacked, airtel to compensate on the same.

              I hope this matter could be easily settled in a more amicable manner if my contact is immediately activated without further delay.

              I'm writing to you as a last phase of hope.

                Previously i was paying just rs.350 for all 63 hd channels plus 200 sd channels in my pack. Now if i select the same pack that limited hd channels which i see frequently it goes around rs.1560 plus tax. What is happening in india really i dont know. Trai brought this rule not to decrease consumer burden but it is opposite, only broadcasters making huge amount by charging more from consumers. Really trai is absolutely not for customers they making and looting money by bringing this rule. Poor people without knowing this they all thinking like trai doing good to customers by making this rule.

                First trai should not be there in india. They making all d rules against people to loot money. Money launderers. Simply bringing rules to loot money. Similarly for mobile connection also they made people to pay every month for validity instead of lifetime validity. This all benefit goes to service providers.

                I am asking one question to trai all the above two rules are for customer benefit or service provider benefit. I am telling absolutely no use to people what u have done is a big mistake to loot money.

                  I have a latest model led tv for which i had tactv cable tv connection. Due to the new trai rules i switched to independent tv i am frustrated and feeling ashamed to get this dth because the picture quality is deadly worst. Even basic mobile/pirated videos are better. Even after many complaints to the customer care, compliance officer, nodal officer mr. Vinay kwatra [protected]. No update or redressal. Even after 1 year over they are yet to refund my pre booking offer money. Seriously in the name of reliance the highly fraudulent company is independent.

                    Dear sirs,

                    I am using videocon dth services for past 6 years. After recent announcement from trai, i have tried change the package with your new instruction. Now, my videcon dth is not working for last 7 days. I have contacted customer for 25 times and hearing 2 or 5 hours to call back. Nothing happen from day one. Their website are not working, qr code send to 566777 is also not working and rude customer care behaviour and i need some assistance from your team to resolve this issues. I have inr 7000 with them. Please assist.

                      I am subscriber of videocon d2h[protected].
                      1. Please note iam unable reach videocon d2h customer care no for the last one week. However i have with great difficulty got them thrice to activate my choice of channels & each time they give an excuse that they are unable to do it from their end.
                      2. Neither their webpage or their infinity app is working for me to login & hence i too cannot choose my channels.
                      Some package is added where in i am forced to pay rs. 344/-, prior to it my monthly payments was much less than 250/-.
                      After this, new rule implementation customers are harassed to pay more & get less channels only. And where is the point as u quote "my pack, my choice". Many o[censored]s are left with no choice at all. Hope to get a quick response on my complaint. Please take strict action on all the dth as i have the same issue with tatasky also & pl revert.

                          Dear sir,

                          I am using videocon d2h more than 14years. After the new rules set by trai, which are really customer friendly but the service providers like videocon d2h are not passing this benefit to its customers.
                          My customer id with videocon d2h is 2339287. Since last 8 days i am trying to select the channels of my choice but i am not able to select the channels. The bst channels are set by videocon d2h only and i am not able to change anyone from it and when i had contacted them. They are very reluctant and saying these 100 channels are mandatory for bst pack. They selected channels of their own choice which are not useful to me anymore.in addition to dd mandatory channels they have made other rest of the channels mandatory which can be seen in attached word file wherein the * mark shows mandatory channels of dd as well as * mark for other channels also.

                          I request you to look into the matter, so that the trais rules shall be followed by these service providers strictly and consumer get proper benefit.

                          I also wish to add on as I'm facing same problem with videocon d2h. I'm videocon d2h customer(ID[protected] since 2012 but now I'm planning to change my service provider because d2h is unlawfully, against guidelines of TRAI, not allowing it's customers to select channels as per their choice. I've been trying since first week of February but although d2h website is showing option of selection of channels but process is never getting completed. It always shows 'We will get back to u soon'but they never call or email me. Repeated calls to customer care is of no use as they are intentionally not attending calls or not resolving by giving vague answers.
                          D2h is only allowing customers to recharge as per old plans. Strict action should be taken against d2h & TRAI should punish them by cancelling their licence for duping their customers & not following TRAI new regulations.
                          Now I'm advising all my relatives, friends & colleagues to change their service provider from Videocon d2h to other option & planning to start a campaign in media against them & expose them publicly.

                            Yesterday[protected] i recharged my dish tv account [protected] of amount rs 220 at 09:55:55 am. The amount was debited from my pnb account. I pay this amount using my paytm wallet upi id through dish tv app. The paytm show that rs 220 was send to [protected]@icici upi id. But my dish tv was not recharged. I complained to dish tv provider but no result. Thay told me that they did not received any amount. But i lost my money.

                              Channel which i have selected now its cost is rs 192 plus gst and after adding your compulsory base channel price which is 153 rsit goes 380 rs p. M.

                                Trai new rules has substantill incresed the cost from my exising monthly outflow.
                                1. I used to pay rs.279 for tamil hd pack and used to get additional telugu pack as complimentary. For the tamil hd pack alone now i have to pay rs.420.

                                2. Further, tatasky is not allowing me to choose the free channels through the web application. Helpdesk when called says they can not help and we need to do it in the web application only??

                                3. Response and services are poor.

                                New regulation has increased the cost to the customer and benefittin tatasky.

                                  My airtel dth customer id is [protected]. My validity is till 20th feb. 2019 and my balance is rs. 170/- but even then almost all channels have been blocked by airtel digital tv for no valid reason and without any information. I have already selected my channels a few days back. I am shocked to find all the channels missing and even customer care is not reachable and emails also bounce back to my inbox. So no other way to contact airtel dth. Kindly take immediate action against airtel digital tv. As their service is very poor.

                                    I have multiple tv “tata sky” connection, i have selected channels based on my current requirement and my total package cost is 160 rupees which include 153 service fess for primary connection, but for multi tv i have to paid 200rupees, which is unfair. There is no point to pay more for multi tv, if i paid 160rupees for primary connection then why multi tv is on higher side? For multi tv cost should be 50 to 70 percent of total cost.

                                    Hi, due to the implementation of the new Tariff order the input costs for MultiTV connections have increased, which has resulted in a marginal increase in MultiTV prices. However, continuing with a MultiTV connection is still more value for money than going for a new DTH/cable connection.

                                      This is to inform you that my balance is deducting but no channels is available as per my choice. No modification option available. Many channels show in my account which i had not select please solve the problem all my current balance is deducted. The d2h broadcast would be stop on 9th feb 2019. I was having balance of 5000rs same is got fully deducted.

                                      I have mailed my complain but no solution is provided. Try to connect their customer care but it is coming busy from last 10 days. Ask for call back same is also not happen. Even throw application or online i am not able to set my package.

                                      Kindly look into my case and help me in getting my deducted amount back and in setting correct package.

I many times called their number but it being non reachable. I frequently emailed them for activation of services. But no action has been taken by them till date.
                                        Kindly redress this grievance at the earliest please.
