For more than one year i am using airtel dth and paying approximately 250 to 280 rupees only.
Now i am being offered / recomended a package for rupees 340 which doesnot include the channels (Mainly english news channels).
That means i have to pay more for (Lesser channels) i was watching all these days.
What is the use of the language channels which i wont even undertstand?
Is this new scheme a bone or a bane for us customers?

    As per TRIA pack i designed my own apck and activated it here online...but wrong pack was activated as many of the channels i selected have dissappeared (black out) and ones which i don't want is here. Kindly help me out with it.

    i already even dialed 121 and spoke with customer care executive...she had no clue whats it was and just told me to wait till 7th Feb.
    Which is just ridiculous as i selected my pack on 30th Jan itself and without any fault from my side i have been forced a blackout of my TV channel even after paying for it.

      In videocon d2h..In basic service tiar 100 channels are show mandotry, not only 25 DD channels.( That is mentioned by TRAi that onyl 25DD channels are mandotry)due to this our Network capacity fees go so high..But d2h customer service not respond about this problem...
      Please tell me about this problem..Can it is true or any technical problem..

      This problem still exists. and Mandatory channels shown as 100 and selected already, there is no option to deselect any. There should be only 25 mandatory channels as per TRAI regulations.
      Why Videocon d2h 100 channel mandatory why making a fool all users please take action for this company

        I have made the selection of bouquet and alcarte channels before 31st Jan. But my packages are not activated. From Feb 1st service is completely stopped. Airtel customer care doesn't pick the calls. Even if they pick they say they will activate with in 24hrs. Is been 3 days and I'm not able to view any channel. But balance is being deducted every day.

          I have made a selection of channels and have made the channel selection over the 998 self help channel over the network also. Proof of the submission available with in in the form of sms messages from airtel dth. My selection is yet to be activated and now existing channels are not active. I can't able to watch any of my airtel channels
          They said this transition will be blackout free, but i am very much frustrated that even paying monthly charges correctly, i could not able to watch any of my channels.
          Client: airtel dth
          Please resolve this issue asap, also provide reimbursements for lacking in providing correct service and breaking the trai rules

            Dear Team,

            It is with utmost displeasure that I'm writing this email to you in regards to the ongoing issues with Airtel Digital TV Account No.: [protected] with registered mobile number [protected].

            I have been constantly notified by AirTel for a change of channel packs since the new TRAI guidelines. As per the notification, I selected the channels on 31st January 2019 and sent an SMS to 54325. I instantly received an SMS stating that the request has been registered and it will be implemented by 1st February 2019. However, all my efforts have been in vain. Since then, I spoke to 3 different advisors from your Customer Service Cell and interestingly everyone assured of a different date of implementation. At first, it was promised 1st Feb, then it went on to 3rd Feb then it went to 4 hours after 11:30 PM on 3rd Feb. Today it's the 4th day and there's no development whatsoever in regards to the channel selection. Also, the amount set in my Airtel Digital Account is also getting deducted every day as per the previous plan.

            This is the most terrible service provider I have ever worked with. I spoke with Mr. Jaydeep (Service Advisor) who says that the pack will be activated on 7th February 2019 but it's just a word, he has no clue if it will really implement or not. When I asked for an email confirmation/SMS/anything in writing, he has absolutely no clue of what has to be done. Further on I spoke with Mr. Vinay (Senior Supervisor) who sings the same song but with an extra beat of 'Sir'.

            The problem in short:

            1. Airtel says they haven't received a request. I have attached a screenshot which will clarify this.
            2. Manipulation of every fact. I am losing my money every day because the pack is still not activated. Passing on wrong information across customers is more of a virtue.

            Some other quick facts on your terrible system:

            1. There is no actual data that one can see either on My Airtel Web Account or My Airtel App. It is better that the App is shut down.
            2. Have you seen the UI of the channel selection page? Its absolutely useless and doesn't make any sense when I have to toggle between multiple categories. (Tata Sky has one option of Hindi and guess what, all Hindi Channels pop up on the screen)
            3. Every recharge that I do reflects on my TV only after calling you people.

            Your team cannot bring back the time I invested in elaborating this issue. I hope the query is escalated on the zenith level and resolved ASAP. I will be escalating and taking forward this matter with TRAI and allied government agencies before moving on to a new connection (Tata Sky)

              I proactive chose the the new TRAI plan before start of new TRAI regime, ie 31 Jan 2019. The request was submitted successfully but even 5 days if is submission there is no change in plan.
              And customer care service has gone pathetic wherein I waited for more than 10 mins over call several times but could not reach them.

              Did TRAi check if DTH operators can handle this change ? If yes, please respond why I did not get the seamless transition and why this loss of service thrusted by the Airtel to us as customer ?

              Please take action against Airtel and instruct to pass on the delay in service as monetary benefit to me.

                My Airtel DTH Id is: [protected]

                As per TRAI guideline I have selected new dth plan on 2nd feb from Airtel Selfcare email ID and received confirmation that plan will be change from 3rd Feb but they have not changed plan & applying wrong higher charges as per old plan.

                I called customer care on[protected] so many times but not getting any solution. They put me on hold for number of times and than they disconnected the call despite of my request of want to speak with seniors. I called from [protected] for your reference.

                I have asked the reason for not changed plan, I got a reply of technical reason so I have asked them to change the plan as per my selection and credit difference amount from 3rd Feb as fault is from their side but they denied for the same and not changing plan and not ready to credit difference amount .

                Their customer care is one of the worst and it's waste of time.

                I would like you to take action against Airtel DTH for harassment and help me out to solve the issue.

                  We have done recharge of Digital TV account of Airtel on 1st February, 2019. While I am not getting the channels subscribed by me. It is showing anything else. We are trying to contact Airtel customer care continuously, their number is not connected.
                  On of their executive earlier wrote me that my channels would be activated on 3rd February, 2019, and extra amount would be adjusted. Now she wrote me that my previous plan will run till 7th February as per the amount available and thereafter our channels will be activated.
                  Why?
                  For the problem of Airtel why should we, the customer suffer?

                    Iam anand kumar customer of d2h my customer i'd is 83235716. Actually i activate my pack fth on yesterday around morning 10 am after that i want to add some more packages of other broadcaster (Like-star, sony). But they told me that there are some technical issue so that's why they activate my additional packs after 5 hrs then i call them around at night 8:30 pm and they add my packs but my pack not activated they again told me that your pack is activated within 5 hours. But now today monday i came to home at 5 pm and my packs are not activated.35 hrs are complete this time and my pack are not activated by them. I again call him and ask about this they again told me wait for 5hrs. This is so embarrising

                    I am tata sky customer. Id [protected] sunil magar . Tata sky only showing packages . Not clear about which channels come under which pack. On there sites. More charges than normal charge.

                      A few days back, i had called tatasky customer care and wanted to know if i can continue with my long duration pack (Ldp) which is valid till aug 21, 2019. I was categorically told by tatasky representative that i cannot continue with my long duration pack after feb 6, 2019 and i have to migrate to some monthly pack. If i don't choose any pack by feb 6th, tatasky would automatically migrate to some closest pack. I had followed it up with another call to tatasky customer care again on feb 2, 2019 and i was given the same response, that i cannot continue with my long duration pack and that i have to select some pack which would be billed on a monthly basis. So, i was. Forced to choose a pack on feb 3rd and requested for migration to that. Because it is on a monthly billing basis, the validity of this pack would be only till july 1, 2019 and not till aug 21, 2019 which was the expiry of my earlier long duration pack. Moreover, for multi-tv connection, tatasky is now charging rs. 400 per tv p. M, which works out to rs. 4800 p. A.. This is much higher compared to rs. 1950 that i have paid earlier for the multi tv connection.
                      However, i came to know this morning that trai has issued a directive that existing customers with ldp can choose to continue with the ldp if they so wish.
                      Now, i requested tatasky to cancel the new pack that i migrated to on feb 3rd which is valid till july 1, 2019 and put me back on to the ldp that i was on earlier which is valid till aug 21, 2019. They are saying that it cannot be done, despite my telling them that trai has issued a directive that customer can continue with existing long duration pack if they want to.

                      Kindly direct tatasky to change me to ultra pack which i was on previously. My tatasky subscriber number is [protected].

                      Still not provided options for the customers for choosing the channels. Trai should intervene and provide free channels to tata sky customers until they provide choice. Whatever charges should be be born by tata sky.

                      Hi! You can choose packs of your choice from Tata Sky Recommended packs or Broadcaster packs. You can additionally also choose channels of your choice at applicable rates to create a subscription of your choice. You can do so through the following modes:
                      1. Self-care portal: mytatasky.com (in the manage packs section)
                      2. Tata Sky mobile app (in the manage packs section)
                      3. Visit your nearest Tata Sky dealer

                        New channel pack was created before feb and submitted through their website. Sr. No.[protected]
                        However the same has not activated by them inspite of numerous complaints. My balance amount is being deducted by d2h as per previous higher pack which is totally against ethics.
                        Before feb due date is 26feb and now its showing 20feb,

                        Now they are not picking up the calls. Call got disconnect automatically, calling from 2 days, call connected 2 times but they told to callback after 2 hour because system is down. Please help.

                        Above subject they are closed my mobile number incoming services...if I will not recharge of rupees 35...but why they are compulsion for INCOMING services ...i am accepted for outgoing services because of when me make a call then prepaid services so l Wii recharge it.Ihope think about it.. yours faithfully.
                        Asianet cable operator in Kerala trys to give buch of channel s against new rule of tari and they impose some channel s we don't like and gives some channel with bunch that increase bill of consumers. So cable operator trys to misguide subscribers

                          1st of all i would like to inform you that we have been facing a blackout of tv (Dth) from last 3 days.

                          I've been continuously calling their support for help in this regards, but their customer support are full of illiterate, that they dont
                          Care to respond us.

                          On very 1st day, i've created my own pack of happy india, and after sometime, main channel of sony entertainment and set max were not working.

                          From 2nd day, i've calling them to start my sony channel, in return they are telling me to wait for every 5 hour when i call them.

                          On today, their limit exceeded, they put us on line for long time without any talk, and line went disconnected automatically.

                          Also they won't let us talk to their senior, all they are doing till now, is giving us excuses, or thinking how to get rid of complaint.

                          Its been 3 days so far, without sony channel that is my top priority channel.

                          I've already paid them in advance around 420rs, and for me, they are taking advantage of this change.

                          Customer like me struggling to get his own channels, and ended up wasting his own time with illiterate people.

                          I don't know where should i go for complaint now.

                          So i'm writing again for help, either sort this fast, or soon you will have to take your step which you have taken.

                          Horrible, frustrating and miserable experience..

                          None of your consumer support comes in action so far against corrupt videocon d2h.

                          Tv blackout day 3 since feb 1, 2019.

                          According to my earlier concern, only 2 channels were not working, and rest were working fine.

                          And today, i told them to activate my both channels, they did it no time, but here is miserable part comes, they deactivated my entire pack, which i created earlier..

                          Ab tumko zara hindi me samjhata hu

                          Niyam laagu karne se ghanta kuch hota hai, kaam par unpadh gawaar log bitha doge, toh problem toh aani hi hai..

                          1 taarik ko, maine apna pack create kia, jisme nct, happy india, star value, and remaining pack create kiya hai..

                          Ab bebasi ki baat yeh hai ki, videocon wale itne unpad log hai,

                          Pehle toh plan activate nahi kar rahe

                          Dusra 5 ghante baad call karne ko bole jaa rahe hai

                          Teesra senior se baat nahi kar va rahe

                          Chautha mere tv par gine chune 8 channel hi chal rahe hai.

                          Paanchva, trai walo ne pagal bana diya.

                          Agar kaam karna bas ki nahi hai toh, niyam thopne ka koi adhikar nahi,

                          Will surely raise my voice against trai.

                          Blackout Day 5 Running Now.. No Help So Far.
                          All my channels are deactivated by them now. Not getting any help over a phone call, and not getting any solution via email. All they are saying we have sent a command to my set up box. And trai is total ###.
                          I have opted channels on 26/1/19 to be effective from 1.1.19. However, amount paid is adjusted in continuance to old tariff.
                          Subscriber no. [protected]-001 and reference no of online submission of channels: 99317. However AIRTEL has not done any changes effective 1.1.19.

                            1. I have made a selection of channels twice over the selfcare portal of airtel dth and successfully submitted the choice and have once made the channel selection over the 998 self help channel over the network also. Proof of the submission available with in in the form of sms messages from airtel dth. My selection is yet to be activated and i am forced to view the package made by airtel.
                            2. I had paid an advance rent of rupees 3246 for 6 month hd pack on october 17, 2018 and in january was told that my balance amount shall be credited to my account after adjusting for rupees 540 per month for my pack charge for 3 months. However, only rupees 43.18 has been credited to my account and that too is valid for next 10 days.in frustration i have again recharged my account with rupees 500 but my choice of channels is yet to be activated.

                            Independent TV द्वारा मेरे 499 रुपये ले 1 वर्ष पहले ले लिए गए किन्तु अभी तक SETUP BOX उपलब्ध नहीं कराया गया।
                            और मेरे द्वारा कम से कम 50 बार संपर्क किया जा चुका है फिर भी ना तो रुपये वापस किये जा रहे और ना ही SETUP BOX प्रदान किया जा रहा है।

                              This is to inform you that d2h videocon not updating new package as per trai rule, i have been following up since last 4 days now and plus 100 calls to the customer care to update my new pack as per trai rule, but still it is not updated.
                              This people are cheating to the users and sending sms to recharge and if you don’t your exiting package will block, why videocon d2h is not following the correct rule as per trai to update the users pack asap and stop cheating to the customer.
                              Please take some serious action against them.

                                I have videocon d2h connection. I had chosen and submitted the channels based on the trai new rules. The plan was supposed to be applied from 1st feb 2019 however i dont see the channels i had selected. Still the old plan is in effect for which i have to recharge more.
                                Also now in the website of videocond2h there is not details of channels i have selected.

                                Kindly look into this.

                                  I am airtel dth customer. I have opted my pack on 1st february. I have selected my pack on airtel's website. I got conformation that your selected pack will be implemented in 48 hours, but still they are showing my old plan.
                                  If trai can't force dth operators to implement new rules, then my such rules are made. Eventually its customers who suffers.

                                      Sir,

                                      My airtel dth id is: [protected].

                                      As per trai guideline i have selected new dth plan on 31st jan from airtel selfcare email id and received confirmation that plan will be change from 1st feb but they have not changed plan & applying wrong higher charges as per old plan.

                                      I called customer care on[protected] so many times but not getting any solution. They put me on hold for number of times and than they disconnected the call despite of my request of want to speak with seniors. I called from [protected] for your reference.

                                      I have asked the reason for not changed plan, i got a reply of technical reason so i have asked them to change the plan as per my selection and credit difference amount from 1st feb as fault is from their side but they denied for the same and not changing plan and not ready to credit difference amount.

                                      Their customer care is one of the worst and it's waste of time.

                                      I would like you to take action against airtel dth for harassment and help me out to solve the issue.

                                        Sir,
                                        Dishtv is irritating by auto upgrading pack or adding adons.
                                        I need to check everytime for pack details, as dishtv is adding adons without users permission.
                                        Now i am irritated with this fraudulent service. I want to go to consumer court to file a case against this fraudulent service provider, if you do nothing to this fraudulent service provider.
