I have had mobile phone connection number 98xxxxxx00 for past 13 years in my name and ownership. The connection was bought from vodafone in the year 2005.in the year 2012, i got this number ported to airtel, vodafone signal in my new gurgaon apartment were poor. And the number continued in my name and ownership. But in october 2017, airtel shifted this mobile number 98xxxxxx00 to another persons name & ownership without my consent or information. Also accepted other persons aadhar number on this number, without any notification or approval from me. When i contacted airtel to registered a protest and to correct airtel's mistake, asking airtel to shift the number back to my name and ownership, airtel refused to do the same. When i pushed them to explain how this could happen without my consent? Airtel asked me to get a no objection certificate from another person to get this number back to my name. However, airtel failed to provide any no objection from me, based on which airtel can justify the transfer of this mobile number to another person name.
Therefore today,
1. I have no claim over mobile number 98xxxxxx00, for which i have paid bills for last over 10 years.
2. All the mobile bills i have submitted till date for official claims as the connection was in my name and ownership are false claims as the mobile number is not in my name.
3. Airtel instead of correcting their mistake are behaving unlawfully and unruly.
4. My online account on airtel.com has been changed without my consent.
I want airtel to rectify their mistake and transfer my mobile number back to my name as it was till oct-2017.
