I am writing this mail in regards to my phone # [protected]. Due to poor services and poor network I did switch my phone number to Airtel as Airtel offered me a very good package, that too about 2 year back.
In the beginning of July I received a call from Vodafone asking me to Port it back to Vodafone and offered me more benefits.
Benefits/Package I was getting in Airtel was -
449 Rental plan, in which I was getting unlimited called local, STD, Conference and Land Line with 5+10 GB 4G data for life time on 4G Handset + Incoming free in Roaming (No free Outgoing) + 100 Local and national SMS + 5 Free Movies on Airtel movie app per month + free Wync music app to listen unlimited Music + excellent network connectivity.
On Vodafone I was offered while asking me to port it in Vodafone -
399 Rental plan - in which I will be getting unlimited called local, STD, Conference and Land Line with 5+10 GB 4G data for life time on 4G Handset + Incoming + Outgoing free in Roaming + 100 Local and national SMS.
While porting I was asked to share my document and I did share my Voter ID card copy and with in Half an hour a person came at my home and collected the document and asked me to send PORT as sms at 1900 for some code.
I received a call from Airtel to retain and they offered me 200 rs of discount for 3 months and 10 more GB data so total 25GB that for next 6 months.
I liked what Airtel offered me to retain me. But as I did share my document and code to vodafone, I have been forced to move to vodafone.
Now though I agreed to move on Vodafone, the plan which was offered to me got totally changed.
I called at 198 to check my plan and they said my plan is -
499 as rental plan - in which I will be getting unlimited called local, STD, Conference and Land Line with 5+10 GB 4G data only for 3 months then it will be restrict to 5 GB only + Incoming free in Roaming (Outgoing will be chargable) + 100 Local and national SMS.
If I would have to get this kind of plan then why would have agreed to move on Vodafone?
Vodafone people at 198 are not ready to give any solution, they do arrange a call back and I just received only one call saying they plan which was offered is not possible, and they cant help.
I am here filling a complaint against this big company who do fake promises and do Fraud to the customer. I would appreciate if anyone could help me on this issue.
I have informed at 198 that I will not pay my bills if the offered services will not properly gets activated.
Please suggest what can be done here.
