We purchased Prestige Royale (Kitchen Hood) Chimney model no. SKHD 600PC in Mar-13. It's having warranty of 2 years. On 10-Jul-13, it caught fire due to internal short circuit and all the internal parts got burnt and fell on the gas-stove. The stove also got damanged due to that.. Though, my wife , who was cooking at that point of time, immediately ran to switch off the MCB of the home and also cut-off the gas-cylinder supply, which was situated in the kitchen balcony. However, by the time, she could come back after taking these immediate precautionery actions, the fire had covered the surroundings and already damaged the kitchen cabinet as well as walls.

After loggin the complaint with the Company on 12th the technician came to visit the site on 14th. At the first instance he did agree that he would go & recommend for complete replacement as it was due to internal short-circuit.. & went away. He came-back in 15-20 min and refused to agree for replacement saying it was our fault. And what was the fault ? we were cooking below the chimney & because of the heat of kadai with oil, the wire-mesh of the chimney got damaged and then it damanged the other parts.. Does it sound logical to anybody who is reading this ? it just can't be, isn't it, for a simple reason that, everybody cooks with kadai with oil keeping it just below the chimney.. and nobody is foolish enough to leave it just like that to invite any such unwanted eventuality ever...

In short, even a company like Prestige (TTK) has refused to admit the fault in their product and provide the replacement.

    I have purchased TTK Prestige's new Ceramic cookware, Prestige Creme on 9th February 2013 from QRS Retail Limited, Thiruvananthapuram.
    The decision was based on the strong product quality which Prestige has.
    But after 3 months, the product has lost the ceramic coating (image attached). I have not been careless about the way I used. Instead since it was a new breed of non stick cookware, I was extra careful while using it. I have not used it to prepare even non vegetarian food items. I have used wooden spoons even though the user guide mentioned it as "Metal spoon friendly". Now if I try to cook a dish using the pan, the materials would stick to the bottom of the pan.
    I am surprised to experience such a poor quality product from a reputed brand like Prestige.

    If my friends ask me about the ceramic cookware of Prestige, I will have to say Prestige needs to improve on their product quality.

    i have purchased a chimney from ttks prestige chandapura mart and no installation is provided even after one week .its very disgusting to call them so many times a day even though their is no response.i have decided not to purchase anything from prestige.

      Dear Sir, I bought a new induction stove on 25th may 2013. It is a Prestige Induction stove bought from Anitha's Kreations, Kammunahalli main road, Bangalore. The product is PIC 2.0 V2 and serial number is LO[protected]. I bought it just 3 days ago and using it for 2 days. The moment you switch on the product the entire house power trips. When I went to the shop with complaint they just ignored. They refused to replace a new one and they said they will service it and give it back to me!!

        Hi,

        What I am feeling now, is I made the bad decision to buy from from prestige. Poor quality product along woth poorest services.

        First of all, customer care no. written on warrenty card doesnt work.

        I got it Customer care no. from searching from internet, no pickup calls. After dialing lots of time on different time, able to reach to someone.

        No complaint logging mechanism, instead new no. given to us to contact service engineering directly in my case it was Murli and he never pickup calls.

        I also tried reaching out National service manager, I got it from Prestige site, no one picks up this no. too.

        Service enginner doesnt not understand the problem but try to solve and if happens again bring product back will fix.

        Pathetic, very pathetic.

        I brought induction stove along with utensils, and only from SMART kithecn outlet, thining I'll get quality product and in case of some issue we can get better service.

        My two utencils TAWA and pan got the issue. Tawa got bent and pan's coating went off, even by finger you can remove them.

        I took it to the Smart kithecn outlet in JP nagar 7th block to get it replace. But he took 3 days to give me pan but not the Tawa.
        Also pan was not repleced, he given me other pan with re-coating. He told me thats what they used to do. Tawa will be cheked by engineering and he'll decide otherwise you take it to head office.

        I called customer care for assistance, first of all no. does not work, found another no. from internet, got picked up after trying couple of time.

        She told me to take the Tawa to service center in Kormangla. they'll fix or replace.

        Service center was in inner area and hard to located.

        This not ends here, when I reach there enginner say they cant replace but head office needs to replace as Tawa has developed the bend.
        Service cant fix, I asked to to talk to head office as they only told to visit service center.
        They called head office and tried to fix the Tawa by hammering to flat it and given it back to me and told if it does solve this issue then take it to head office.

        In very IInd day Tawa has developed bend again.

        I took to head office and they tried to fix it instead of replacing and told us to bring Induction as if next time it happens.

        I dont understand what is going on.

        How many times I have to come to different places to get it fixed better to through them on the street.

          I have purchased a GAS Stove (GT 04 SS/ GT o4 SS AI) with four burner & a Chimney from Amber Bartan Center – 38 Pipli Bazar Indore with Serial number – SLB51706
          Initially there was gas leakage from one burner which has got replaced & the guy who came in has replaced and also done with the servicing.

          Soon there were many issues like lighter stopped working , same burner started leakage & another burner giving started giving same problem.
          There is sound which is coming from gas is also threatening.

          When I bought this I saw only brand name, however these kind of issues are alarming & keeping my trust away from the great Brand.
          Secondly when we complaint & guy came he uprightly rejected to help us & demanding money.

          This is not expected from a great brand like Prestige & hence I would like to bring this in your kind notice.
          Please get the needful done & help me in gaining my faith back to the company..

          Require you intervention in getting things corrected with a qualified worker ASAP.

          TTKprestige — delay in repair

          I have given a pic 3.0 induction stove to the authorized service center before 15 days and they asked me to get it back the next week.The next week when i was there to collect it i have been told to get it again next week.Then next week i called them and they asked me to call them next week again and told me that they don't have the equipment with them.

            Glass Top Gas Stove - Glass broke with a blast

            I purchase a prestige induction cook top from swastik (Auth prestige show room) shop at chandanagar on dt 05 Jun 2012. In the month of Dec 2012 it first time defect noticed and returned to the above shop for warranty repair. He returns after a month and said it repaired. But again it not work properly with new defect came to notice again surrendered the Induction cook top to the shop and returned after 15 days & stated that it must work properly. But same fault again seen then I spoke to the owner of the shop and give the service center address where it repaired two times. He gave me the address and I directly goes to the service center for warranty repair with job sheet no 4220 date 04 Mar 2013. It returned after one week stated that it repaired and its board change but still problem with the induction cook top what can I do for warranty repair.

            Purchase Prestige Double Induction Cook Top- PDIC 1.0 (Serial No is L[protected]) From Big Bazar at Vasant Kunj on 14/07/2013. Their warranty is one year. This induction is not working from one side. Induction power is off. I am complaint on Prestige Help line no. My Complaint No is DELH 337704 on 28/04/2014. I am ring lot of time in customer care number and their executive hold half an hour and after they cut the phone. I have wastage of money and time. Please Solve the Problem As soon as Possible and plenty on them.

                We bought a kitchen chimney from TTK Prestige about 6 months back. The company took nearly 2 months to install the product after repeated follow-ups. Within a few days, the switches stopped working, the light never worked. Some of the parts were coming out. We called the call center several times and even spoke to the area sales manager. It was of no avail. It now looks like Prestige stopped selling chimneys. We spent a lot of money on this junk product from a company which, I thought, had a good brand and quality. It is obvious that they cannot make anything other than a traditional cooker.

                I have the same problem. We purchased prestige chimney which stopped working within 6 months, and when there is still warranty period and several complaints for over 90 days from head office in bangalore, Chennai centre and local service centres several times still didn't get a possible solution. We are highly irritated by their stupid service.Hope they are waiting for the warranty period to get expired. I rate prestige as a fraudulent company.

                  I purchase induction cooker ( PIC 1.0) of TTK Presitige of Rs.3500 with one year warrenty after 1 and half year its PCB stopped working.I shown this product to TTK service center Noida Sector 18 and they charge me Rs.1050 for service this product and give me 6 month warrenty through mail by custmor care of TTK MR. Mohit ( [protected]) but after two month its PCB not working again when I shown this product in TTK service center Noida 10 service person said after dicussion with MR. Mohit ( Custmor care ) you may pay 850 again its warrenty over becuase some cocoroch were found in this product.

                  could any one please give me soluction before going in Consumer Fourms..?

                  Now it got a problem. i have tried the customer care number given in the manual, where there is no response.
                  also I have enquired at the location where i have bought, there they told us to contact the customer care.
                  Please do need full for the same to get it repaired.
                  Note: if the agents is taking responsibility help the customer it will be helpful for the customer.

                    1. I bought a prestige induction cook top 3.0v2 at trivandrum on 11.10.11

                    2. Due to a power problem (NO POWER ON) on 10.08.12 I handed over the cook top to authorised service center at Coimbatore with job sheet no 4572

                    3. Initially they told that the item will be delivered within one week but unfortunately DID'NT. They requested two more week and further one month but without any positive response. I trusted them visited five times at the service center for this issue.The service center is at coimbatore and i am working at Air Force Station sulur, means I have to travel almost 50 KM up & down after taking one day valuable leave every time. It was quite harrassing for me.

                    4. Now presently the service center is changed to new place with new staff who are unable to give a positive reply and also commented that my cook top has not been handed over by the old staff. They told me to contact to trichy office as they are helpless.

                    5. I launched a complain at the trichy office but the story is as same.

                    6. It has been THREE MONTHS your staff is unable even to identify the where about of an item handed over to them.

                      I bought a Induction stove 2 months back, i was rarely using it even then it is not functioning now. I lodged a complaint regarding the same on 16 Sep & a technician visited & told there is saome problem with the board & he changed it. Now just after one day Iam facing the same problem & when I complained no one has turned up yet.
                      I have purchase prestige induction cooker from Chirag Appliances, 19 Lohar Chawl, Mumbai-2 on 26.10.12 after bring at home i found its display were not working. next I complaint to Chirag Appl. they gave me service station no. Service station at Andheri told me to bring it at Andheri, again complaint to chirag, they told me to bring it at shop. induction cooker gave it to chirag on 6.11.12 as per their challan 541. from that they Chirag Appliance is treating us as football whenever I phone them they said we will phone you when it ready. please help me to get me new replacement.

                        Sorry for intruding upon your valuable time. This is a complain against your showroom representative.

                        With due respect I would like to bring the following facts to your knowledge,

                        1. I, Shibu Charan Majhi & my friend Mr Utpal Karmakar had visited your showroom (TTK Prestige's Showroom name is M/s Raj Traders, 195, Barasat Road, Nona Chandanpukur, Kolkata-700122.) on 27.10.2012 (Cash Memo No - 685 dated 27/10/2012 & Membership card no[protected] for purchase of certain items.

                        2. After completion of product selection your Sales representative Mr Subhajit Roy had kept me waiting for more than 1 hour.

                        3. I have purchased 1 no Omega DLX-K1B & 1 no Nakshatra Pressure Coocker, & the item was ready for delivery, but due to negligence of your Sales person Mr Subhajit Roy I had to wait for more than a hour for getting signature on the warranty card & final delivery.

                        4. I myself have taken out the Warranty cards opening the packing & handed over to your sales person for signature.

                        5. Being a customer at least I can expect a moderate behavior from shopkeepers/sales person.

                        6. In view of the above I would like to request your kind attention & instruct Mr Subhajit Roy to maintain proper decorum which is a mandatory requirement of business development.

                        Also he should ask apology for his miss-behavior, I believe you will take strong action against Mr Subhajit Roy & revert.

                        In PATNA a service center at BOARING ROAD, one Mr. Sanjeev, talked with me on phone regarding repair of my four burner glass top gas stove & I was fully satisfy with his verson, but when it became very late to repair, I again call on same no.[protected] then any new person lift the phone and they did not trasfer to Mr. Sanjeev and not tell their name. He was talking like a owner of prestige. I thought RATAN TATA, GHANSHYAM BIRLA, BOTH AMBANI'S & NO DOUBT OWNER OF PRESTIGE, never think that any customer is a BEGGER.

                        I AM ALSO A SMALL BUSINESS & UNDER MY HAND 500 PERSONS ARE WORKING UNDER ONE ROOF.

                        SO, MY HUMBLE REQUEST TO GIVE TRAINING TO YOUR PERSONS THAT HOW TO DEAL WITH CUSTOMERS.

                        My estemate to repair was Rs.500/- to Rs 600/- as per your person, But after 20 days it became Rs.1500/- any way it was my fault that why I purchase PRESTIGE PRODUCT with out searching your service after sale.

                        we have experienced a bitter exprerience while visiting your prestige centre at chandannagore . on 04/08/2013 at around 8.00 p, m we visited the above showroom and we asked for a quotation for one prestige food processor and one gas burner in the name of Allahabad bank . But they refused to provide in a rude manner which is not at all expected .

                          This is regarding the problem with wet grinder of Prestige TTK , which was purchased 2 years back. From June 2012 onwards this grinder is giving major problem and I cannot use it. In this regard, I have contacted the service centre of Prestige and they sent their Mechanic during mid June for repairing but did not repair it to my satisfaction. I cannot use the grinder and when I put it on it gives a very loud and shrilling sound.
                          Regarding this matter again and again from June onwards I am complaining through the service centre of Prestige but no help from their side.
                          Recently , once again I complained and now they have given a complaint number 192 dt. 10.10.2012.
                          I have not expected such a bad service from such a good company like Prestige.

                          I shall appreciate, if you could send your mechanic to my residence at the earliest for repairing the grinder.
                          Many thanks in advance for your quick action in this matter.

                            i bought an induction cooker on August 4th 2012. I used it for 3 days and then the touch panel stopped working i.e. on Aug 7th 2012. I called service center at vashi on Aug 8th 2012. They gave 2 phone numbers and upon calling them they registered my complaint and the complaint number is 63. Upon that they cam to my house at Vashi Sector 28 and took the cooker saying that it will be repaired in 1 week on Aug 14th 2012 . But now even after 2months they didnt get that repaired and saying that the component has not received. This caused a high level of inconvience. I am new to Mumbai and i am self cooking using that. 2 months on i am suffering from food problems because of this.

                              I Harshad S Shinde residing 402, vighneshwar apt, ashtavinayak sankul badlapur east 421503 a customer has bought a gas stove of prestige which is of 4 burner and duplex new model from store named MATESHWARY STEEL & HOME APPLIANCES from badlapur on 18thsep 2012 and after using the gas stove from 18th sep to 26th sep in just 9 days of span couple of burners flame became low and was not burning properly and on 27th sep morning when my wife started another burner the button just came in her hand and the gas was open at that time which we came to know and fortunately any accident dint took place. And on 27th evening I put down a complaint at the store from which I bought the stove and within 1 hour a mechanic from prestige came at my home and he started to repair it in the presence of my father now while repairing the gas stove he was talking on the phone which should not be done and he himself lighted a burner and checked and within a minute he catch the upper frame of the burner which was hot and he burned his hand and my father who was standing there and watching what he was doing told him that the problem is not in that burner and you are doing wrong thing the mechanic back answered him without any respect to elders while he was opening he broke the nipple of different burner and when my father asked him he said that it’s a minor thing which I will do tomorrow until then don’t use it. Now my father asked him that I don’t want this gas stove I want an replacement as you have broke this that’s not our mistake and we don’t want to take any risk and so he said that it won’t be possible and he went same day after 1 hour my wife and my father in law went to the store and explained the thing to the store guy and even he said that the mechanic after came in the store and he himself accepted in front of the all the store workers that I have broke the nipple and and will repair it tomorrow and after the discussion the store guy said that will send him back to to you and then will asked why you did that. Next day morning I went to the store and asked for the service center address or any customer care number the store guy gave a number of a distributor Named as Singh and his number as [protected] in the store itself I called him from my cell and spoke to him he said that I will talk to the mechanic and will get back to you I said ok no problem and after an hour he dint called so I called him and asked what happen and he said that the mechanic will come and repair it and so I asked him that I don’t want it to be repaired I want an replacement as this is not my mistake its your mechanics mistake for which I will not accept the guy upfront started telling me that if you have so much of problem go to CONSUMER COURT I don’t have any problem and he hung up on me and just after 15mins I guy called me named Jayesh [protected] spoke to my dad we explained him the thing that we cant give replacement and said that will repair it. Now I just want to know that if I customer is putting his hard earned money to buy a product which is important to be safe why he should not expect a replacement if the mistake of the company not the consumer. And in safety perspective it’s a gas stove anything might go wrong in that and a accident might take place. And on top of that the mechanic who don’t kwon how to open a nipple, whats the guarantee that he will repair it properly.Even there is no sticker present on the gas stove of OK TESTED WHICH I THINK ITS MANDATE . And in spite on this I am ready to accept the gas stove repaired if Prestige gives me in writing that any accident will not take place if it happens prestige will be responsible for the person who will die in the accident. The store guy told me to go to the andheri office and complain I am an working person who don’t have time for this.
                              And any which ways your distributor has already given me a suggestion that YOU CAN GO TO CONSUMER COURT IF YOU WANT and just want to say thanks for the suggestion . Now if my demands which is either replacement or money back is not fulfilled the PRESTIGE should be ready to see the effect on her PRESTIGE and should be ready for the surprises.

                                  I have been loyal with Prestige for last 25 years. However, I am left with a lot of question marks about product quality given the recent
                                  purchase experience which I list under. I had purchased a 3 burner Prestige TTK cookpot Potrest from Prestige Smart Kitchen, Plot NO.237, Bapuji Nagar Bhubaneswar - 751009, Orissa ,Land line :[protected] location with the following details


                                  - Model Number - GTO3LAI

                                  - Slip (payment) Number - 945678

                                  - Warranty Card Number - 1166250

                                  - Date of purchase - 22/10/2011

                                  However during the last 10 months, I have faced several problems on the operational side and at this point I don't want to risk my life with the faulty product. The problem is threefold and at this time this product should be recalled given these issues

                                  1) The burner has gas is leaking badly and there is strong odor of gas whenever burner turned on. This is a life hazard for me , family who are at kitchen and also guests
                                  2) The auto ignition feature does not work on the machine
                                  3) Pot rest is not even and this causes the vessels to not receive heat uniformly and not be balanced when placed on the burners

                                  The Smart Kitchen dealer had tried to repair the product twice but this has been of no avail and the problems continue. At this point, I am running out of patience and discontinued usage of this life threatening product piece. I request that you re-instate my confidence in the brand and make a displeased buyer happy again. I request that you replace this faulty and life threatening product with a plain 2 burner oven (manual and not automatic). I feel cheated and lied by the Prestige office and nobody wants to help me. I lost all my money and added risk to me and my family at the kitchen. Such irresponsible customer response units should lead to the closure of such immoral companies.

                                    i tried calling all the numbers that are available on the prestige site, there is no responce from any number, there is no one to lisfen to you, the helpline number 33441111 is not responsive at all, i really do not know where do i call or ask for help, i shall never suggest any one to use a prestige, the brand should change its name
                                    please let me know what needs to be done

                                      Dear Sir/Madam,
                                      I bought an Induction Cook Top PIC 4.0 having no. [protected] on 23.09.2012. It failed to work in one month. I brought to its Sakchi Service Centre who assured to repair in one week but completed after three months. Service mechanic told me that there is problem in PIC 4.0 and I should try to replace it when it fails. Again it failed after working for one month. On contacting TTK Prestige's Jamshedpur Area Service Engineer Mr. J. Panda & Mr. Sagar Nagelia of Smart Kitchen, they told that that get it repaird.
                                      Since I have been relocated to Tata Steel Ltd. Gomardih, P.O.-Tumura Dist-Sundargarh, Odisha-770070 I find find difficulty in getting repaird frequently. Even repairing charge could be very high after warranty period.
                                      So I request you to exchange this cook top Pic. 4.0 with the better cook top.

                                      Sir,
                                      I bought induction cook top pic 10 on janaury 2013. From today there is problem it shows E0 on display and give beep, after changing many pot it is not working. Please suggest suitable solution.
