I have an apache rtr 160 2014 model. I purchased it from m/s omkar wheels ltd ramgarh kolkata - 700047. 2 month after purchasing this bike i feel my handlebars are vibrating like hell in a speed of around 30 km/hr only.Next day i went to shop from where i hav purchased it but the fellows there told me as it is a common problem for all apache bikes from tvs. They cant help in that regard. So its my suggesion to tvs to manufacture motorcycles with all good parts rather than just improving by its looks only. The main part is engine and if the problem arises to start from that within a few days after purchasing than whats the point. Tvs tyres are also worst. Every motorcycle company are using mrf tyres now a days but tvs are providing their own brand tyres.

    HI sir i'm from bangalore i have a Apache RTR 160 2014 model, i'm facing a handle shaking problem at 55-65 km/h speed i visited the showroom they said u change the tyres then i did that too but there is no improvements out there after this i again visit the show room now they said it's common in every bike, so i made a decision i will never recommend this bike to any body i[censored] guy's don't take a serious action about this, and one thing when i changed the tyre my bike just ran 20k and the name of that showroom is Prakruthi TVS.

      Dear sir,
      we bought a new tvs zest from authorized main dealer tvs motor company ltd, 311 ring road banashankari 3rd stage 4th phase 7th block Bangalore Karnataka on 31/12/2015 invoice no 2005661. a week after delivery vehicle couldn't able start with auto start. we managed with kick start and by end of a month that was also difficult and gave it for servicing on 31/1/2016
      they took 4 days to rectify the problem and assured there will not be any problem in future. we used the vehicle for a week and again couldn't able to autostart. we tried to manage with kick start for another 3-4 days vehicle used to start and stop in between during running initially in upslopes and later used to stop everywhere. on 20/3/2016 we complained to service station and they took the vehicle to service station.
      We suspect there is a major problem with this unit and we don't want to risk ours and children lives with this vehicle . we have been served a defective vehicle for the 100% money we have paid.

        i have tvs jupiter scooter purchase on 2014. now i very sad regarding purchase of jupiter. because engine performance is very worst in its class. within in the 2000km same unwanted sound coming from engine and i con't ride the bike just 20km distance because 2 or 3 time engine stop automatically. so consider my compliant and help to salve this engine problem because i have warranty period.

          On 8th March, 2016 I had placed my Tvs Jupiter for service at stallionz Tvs (Shahibaug, Ahmedabad) in morning. And After the service being done, I had reached at the service center for collecting Jupiter in the evening. Later on I came to know that the battery (AMCO) is being exchanged with other company’s battery(EXIDE) without informing me. And after I told them about this they said “it happened by mistake” and then they again replaced the Battery with AMCO one. But who knows that the EXIDE Battery was inserted unintentionally? After the replacement of battery with AMCO one” Self Start” of my Jupiter stopped working. But now they are telling that you should purchase new battery as the old one is not working, whereas horn and other stuff is working.

          And the issue is still not resolved. Each day i make a call at stallionz tvs but i am not getting proper reply. I don't know why tvs is not taking appropriate action despite of complaining too many times.
          Why they are not taking customer's issue seriously?

          I am now fed up o[censored]sing kick start as the self start is not working.
          Lets see how much more time do they need to solve this issue.


          On Monday (21/03/16), I had Purchased the Battery from the retail shop by paying Rs.1050 as I was not getting proper reply from the TVS. I want the claim of the amount I had paid to Purchase the new battery. Resolve this issue soon. I do not know why you are not taking this kind of issue seriously.

            I am saeesh kandolkar from goa city. I was interested in buying the tvs apache rtr 200. But due to your delays in ur product i cant so. So i wanted to know when exectly the bike is launching in Goa. Because even ur retailers dont know when exectly its launching. Please let me know exectly when it is launching in goa. Because i cant delay more. Or else i might go for any other option.

              Sukra tvs showroom & service centre, jp nagar, jaraganahalli, jp nagar post on 26th july 2015 and 1st service super, 2nd service very bad no oil change just vehicle body wash and charge rs.650/-, 3rd service cancel directly and 4th service again no oil change, pertrol took by machanic in front of me and i have video taken unknowingly and charge rs.779/-.

              The head light was not working and again i went there then he took head light from other bike and changed to my bike and asked rs.100 without a bill. I have recorded that conversation also.

              If i won't get proper response and justice from your side, my next steps will be with consumer forum
              Expecting positive support and response from your side.

                Hi, I am Dillip Kumar Swain, resident of Saphipur, Babujanga, odisha have bought a TVS heavy duty on 1st of February from Sarala motors Salepur.

                Even though long days has past I have not received my vehicle registration details along with RC book too.

                I have visited there many times and also contacted them over phone ample of times too and each time I getting same assurance that in next 5/6 days I will get those but I don't know when that 5/6 days will come for the fraud motor.

                As I belongs from a rural area and don't have much knowledge and lack of communication facility to log complaint, I couldn't able to do anything.

                Please consider this in High priority and let me know the resolution as well as what action you are going to take against the agency on this regards.

                When I spoke with the agency today (22nd March 2016 ) they are coming with the statement that was a problem with the signature . SO RTO has rejected that.

                I could belive this if it would happen in between 1 month but how they are saying mistake with the signtature. IF so why not they informed me .

                I already shared my mobile no details with them .


                Worst motor I ever see in my life .

                At last my kindly request please don't put poor people in trouble because of you and your agency's mistake.

                I am expecting I get my resolution ASAP.

                  I did purchase Tvs Jupiter on dec 2014 from Arunagiri Motors Bangalore..
                  But after 1st servicing I am facing so many problems...no smooth running in speed b/w 25 to 40 km/h, Back wheel balance is not so great. These guys asked me change the tyer then wheel . I did everything even though the problem is not rectified,

                  In a year I have visited service center for almost 50 times...but till now the problem is not fixed.. Now they are asking me change the Klutch kit ...

                  I have given complaint so many times. Everytime some lady from customer care calls me and will assure that she will make an appointment with the service manager and after that I will not get any call back.

                  Can somebody help me in Consumer Court to do justice

                    The local delaers is not giving prper service
                    m/s bharat tvs

                    i have given my vehicle for service in showroom and when i went to take it i found my vehicle having damaged with the scratch on
                    it which was done by showroom staff or mechanic
                    and i demanded to replace the part but they are not giving it change and giving the reasons
                    so my personal request to plz resolve the problem as soon as possible

                        I purchased rtr 160 around 9 month ago recently in last service the technician observed that the disc pad needs to be changed.The changing of pad is a paid one (around 600rs)The main thing is the bike is not much in use and not even completed a year so it is not expected tht tvs genuine parts have such quality.

                          Actually i had purchased a tvs jupiter before 9 months ago but now in some problem in scooter they didnt sound well average is not good and many other things so i went for a scooter service in sidhi motors bijnor where i bought it but after service scooter sound and problem was same as before of service and when i said him their behaviour was not good he didnt response me as a customer i am really dissappointed... please do something

                            we enquired for a scooter in sjb sakthisaradha tvs, which is situated at avinashi road, coimbatore on sunday(13/03/2016). we booked for tvs zest on the same day and paid full payment on the spot. they promised us that they would deliver the vehicle on tuesday with rto completion. But till 7:30 pm on tuesday they didnt call us. we had called them and asked the status. even then, there was not a proper response from them. finally they delivered the vehicle by 8:30 pm on tuesday and told us that they will take the vehicle for rto on friday. friday morning we only called them and asked them to take the vehicle. they told us that they will return the vehicle by 5:00pm in the evening. but they didnt return on time. we called them again and again to enquire about the vehicle and finally after the long fight they return the vehicle by 9:30pm. they have taken the petrol and didnt respond properly.
                            they didnt give the user manual and never contact the customer and update the status at any point of time.

                              I am from Madurai and due to the loyalty of Madurai, I always preferred TVS.
                              2) However, of late, inordinate delay and indifferent behaviours are noticed in car service units.
                              3) On 8th March, our Nano - TN58 - W 3921 was admitted at TATA Motors, TVS Automobile Solutions Ltd for Break work. During every reminder, tel operator though promised that concerned would contact no one did so. On Feb 10 it was informed that break and its connected works; oil change and AC would be attended.
                              4) On 12th it was informed that unless rear drum work was attended no purpose would be served in attending to break work. Ur staffs were requested to return the car by Monday. However, Manager Muthukumar stated that the car though was made ready on 14th itself was not sent for want of driver. The field staff was categorical that break work has not been attended. But bill amount was not proportionally reduced for not attending to break work by Manager.
                              I did state that every day my spouse is shelling out Rs. 400 to attend to her College work and therefore requested to deduct Rs. 800/-. He did not agree. Even though we waited, waited the car in question was not deliveredth on 16th.
                              Notwithstanding sms to Mr. Muthukumar twice on 17th Thurs and also to Mr Ravikumar [protected] at 1134 & 1337 with request to advise there was no response.
                              Finally Mr. Muthukumar contacted at 15:05 stating as per the advice or Shri Ravikumar he was contacting. He did not promise to deliver it though he was requested. Till 17:55 it has not been delivered
                              It is requested to advise Mr. Muthukumar to get the car delivered and with compensation for the inordinate delay of 4 days
                              Initiate appropriate corrective action please

                                I have given my bike for servicing last week (I.E 8th march 2016) to tvs authorized service center - laxmi motors, thuraipakkam, chennai, where the servicing guy told me to change the chain sprocket since it is making a little sound. So i have changed the chain kit with the new one. Now today (16th march 2016), on the way back to my home from office, the chain got broke. Also on my bike's previous servicing i have registered a complaint ( complaint no. - [protected] ) about the poor servicing. And within 10 days of my servicing this thing happened.
                                I request you to please look into this issue.

                                  I had bought the said scooter on 06/02/2014 so far it has done about 9000 kms now it is in the dealers workshop (Peeyem Motors Cochin) for crank complaints and the estimated expenses for the repair is @ 7000 rupees. what beats me is that how a scooter that has run very little developed such a major complaint. The vehicle was last serviced in Nov 2015 . I want the company to look into this matter and find out what went wrong and if the expense is justified.

                                    My name is Rahul B Kakade purches apache rtr 160 in octomber 2015. after 3, 4 month my battry is not working good so i am consult with the shoroom and they replace my battery after 1and half month and give me the new battery i dont know thats is new or not. but after replacing the battery 15 days i am facing same issue with this battery currently same issue donit resolve it .. i want solution argently ... and when i am driving on 40-50 speed bikes vibrate so highly its so irritating ..and the handle is dancing 'right-left' what is this ...i am unhappy with the service ...

                                      Hi Sir,

                                      Respectfully, I would like to let you know about the service offered by one of Tvs authorized service center i.e Om TVS service center in Okla. I purchased a new bike Apache RTR 160 in November 2015 and I approched OM TVS service cente for its first service but they completely ruined my new bike as per performance. The mileage of bike previously is about 40-45 km/litre however now I am not gtting it more that 30- 35 km/litre. Also the disk brakes of the bike are making noise in such a manner that they are touching the tyres. I have asked them for these issues at the time of 2nd service but these issues remains same after the 2nd service also. After 2nd service, I again visited them for these issues and they took my bike on complain and assured me that these issues will be resolved. I have handed them my bike at 11a.m. and got my bike at 5:30 p.m. On that day, they didn't call me in order to receive my bike. Finally I had to visit them. After that also, these issues were not resolved. And the last but not least, today I am looking for tool kit of my bike for some work and I found that the tool kit is not there. Also My bike starts looking like a more that year old due to this type of service.
                                      They are not providing the good service and also they are bluffing the customer by taking the bike accessories.

                                      So I request you to take this issue into consideration as soon as possible . I hope for the positive response from you.

                                        Service centres are meant for fixing up small glitches and improving performance. They aren't meant for theft!!! When we provide our bike for servicing, when entrust faith in the servicemen and the manager. They are responsible for the bike and its accessories. For the first time when I had given my bike for serving, gloves from dicky were missing. And the second time my mobile phone. I know i forgot my phone in dicky. But isn't the manager responsible for the belongings of their customers. Also I went to the service center just minutes after I gave it for servicing. And my phone was comprehensively robbed!!! I didn't expect this from a brand like TVS. Robbing belongings of their own customers, who have made TVS the brand it is now.
