Hi,

I bought a TVS tyre for my Bajaj Pulser 180. Its been 2 years and tyre got aired.

I contacted the concern person of TVS, He said I will get the tyre replaced but I have to pay 50% of the amount.

When i asked the reason, He said its as per the company policy. As its a manufacturing defect of the product. So dont understand why i have to pay the 50%.

So I want to know the exact policy and where you people have documented it.

I have purchased a TVS Jupiter on 17 June 2015, and within one year of purchase the rear tyre strated giving problem. I have had numerous punctures in the tyre dispite of checking the air pressure regularly. Finally I had to change the tyre todauy and buy a new one which has costed me around 1500/- Rs. I am really dissapointed that the bike has not even done 17000 Kms and the tyres are worn out. While reading this forum i have realised that it has been the problem with almost everyone who is using tvs tyres. I am planning to buy another two wheeler for my dad, and was thinking of tvs bikes, however have changed my mind. Really sad that such a huge company and are unable to provide good quality of product and shattering the trust of so many consumers. I am surely going to take this further.

I bought TVS JUPITER about one and a half years ago and the tyres got cracked, my brother got the tyre changed because of the same fault, I guess there is some promlem with the tyre rubber quality, I understand that you are from TVSTYRES, but there is hell lot of of problems related to TVS jupiter, be it with front suspension and mileage.

I promise I will do post this information on SOCIAL MEDIA, I have heard lot from most of the people regarding the same people.

Newly purchased tvs wego 7 mnths old and 10000 kms. Had a puncture in rear tyre which when fixed can't hold for 2days or more. Workshop employed says it's common and tyres has to be changed. Recommended me to visit tv's showroom to replace it with warranty. I don't have any idea of that can be done but few of my colleagues had done something like that with other spare parts of this kind of vehicles. Even tyres have a warranty of 2yrs I think. Hoping to get a reply as soon as possible.

First of all, thanks to consumers complaint team, earlier I forwarded my complaint on your portal dated 11/01/17, , regarding cracked tyres TVS JUPITER. I got a quick response, thanks to your team. I got a call from the head office from Madurai. Head person, he appointed a person to call me from the Delhi office named Mr Sunil Pal, Mr Sunil Pal called me and directed me to TVS showroom to get the tyre inspected and they gave me a letter stated rear tyre has got cracks, showroom people told me to get the tyre replaced at a tvs dealer, and Mr Sunil Pal and the dealer got together and created false stories as they didn't want to replace my cracked tyre and the tyre dealer asked me for money and after listening from the tyre dealer I called Mr Sunil Pal again, and he started to yell at me, he was so rude, he said you will have to pay the money as a bribe.

I will suggest all the people, not to rely on TVS products in future.

I Have purchased HONDA SHINE TWO WHEELER with stock tyer from FARANDE

HONDA NANDED in Sep 2015. It ss just 12000 kms old, I have been asked

make puncture carefully it shouldn't be leaked.Every time when I fix

puncture within 1 or 2 day It had been leaking.
I had gone to the puncture guys at last 3 more times to git it fixed.
Even then, I am experiencing the same issue.
When checked, the puncture guys were telling that this issue is common is

TVS treys. I don't know anything about this, but really getting annoyed

about the quality it is made. The groves are good and even the total tyre

is looking perfect, but every other day I need to fill the air.

Specially today while going to office along with my wife, just missed

from getting slipped on the main road due to the leakage of the air.

Miraculously escaped a fatal accident.

I bought my 'HONDA ACTIVA i' vehicle on jan 14, 2016. Reg no: TN59 BJ 2127.

Air filled never be a stable one inside the tyre. Air inside not even remains a day. Bulgy tyre was weird one side. It became smoothy at one side. Also bulgy bubbles were there.I made complain after i bought it at first week itself and at each service time i asked. The people at haritha honda say its usual.

Now i cant able to travel more than 20km fast. It's wobbling. within 4500 KMS, within 1 year how it happens?

On 2 JAN 2017 by evening i sent the vehicle for my 4th service. They said after discussing with tvs tyres they will replace the tyre.
Today they say that TVS tyres rejected my query. Without inspecting or seeing my vehicle how can they say like this. I need a remedy.

If not i will go for a serious action against the dealer. and i will go for legal remedy.

I purchased a Honda Shine in May 2013 with stock tyres of TVS from Fortune Honda Motors in Tarnaka, Hyderabad. A few months back at about 22, 000 KMs I had a puncture in the tyre and got it fixed. But soon after, the tyre is getting deflated. I had gone to the puncture guys atleast 3 more times to get it fixed. Even then, I am experiencing the same issue. I used to have a Suzuki Fiero earlier, but never had any issues with the vehicle and the tyres and I was a great fan of Suzuki / TVS. Please stand tall in the eyes of your customers by maintaining good quality.

Have bought TVS Jupiter Scooter this year in Feb 2016. It Is just 13000 kms old, I have been asked to change the rear tyre because of three Punctures and it is leaking, when i contacted the service people they have asked me to change the tyre. The TVS tyre could not withstand atleast for 20000 km, its so pathetic.
Just want to know does it is covered under warranty. If so please do let me know the procedure.

I purchased new ignitor on 18/01/2016 which is fitted with TVS tubless tyre.I from the day i got my bike, I am observing that front tyre is not keeping air and every 3 rd day i need to inflate it with air.i got a check up of tyre but could not find any puncture.i was wondering and kept investigating the reason.finaly yesterday i came to know that air leakage is from rim area.it is completely manufacture defect and cannot be repaired.NOW I WANT COMPANY TO EXCHANGE ITS FAULTY PRODUCT SUPPLIED TO ME.

further more i am questioning quality control of company.how can be you are so careless. company seems overlooking safety standard in earning profit.

I own a honda activa scooter fitted with tvs tyres, which i purchased from saphire honda, jaya nagar, bangalore 2 years ago. Now there are multiple big cracks on the side and on the groove of the rear tyre and the tyre is totally damaged. It is definitely a manufacturing defect with many customers reporting similar defects with the tyre. So, kindly arrange to replace the tyre immediately warranty of tvs tyres being 5 years.

I purchased new bike in september 2016 having tvs tyres. But from last few days tyre is leaking air and tyres do not have punctures. I want to resolve this problem asap.

I don't want to pay any money for this as it is just 2 months old tyres and i am not supposed to face any issues like that with new branded tyres of tvs. This kind of things will damage the brand of tvs tyres.

I hope u understand my problem and will resolve it at earliest.

I bhima veerlankaiah purchased honda activa scooter from JSP honda, Kukatpally, Hyderabad on dated 30.08.2013 with registration no. AP28BW7285.

I have purchased the activa 2 wheeler before 3 years ago with tvs tyres. but there is a big cut on manufacturing groove of my tyre of back wheel and the tyre had damaged. it is totally a manufacturing defect. so, kindly arrange to replace the tyre immediately while warranty of tvs tyre is 5 years.

Sir, I have purchase a TVS Jupiter scooter 110 bearing engine no.BG4GE1203533 and chasis no.MD626BG42E1G06750 in July 2014 from TVS show room Udaipur, which was fitted with two tubeless TVS tyres. The performance of the tyres were good (but got punchered two-three times with in these two years).

Of late I noticed a crack of two inches along the central grove of the back tyre, which ostensibly is a quality defect. I request for a free replacement of the said tyre at your earliest, through your local agent at Udaipur (Raj).
In case you need the details of the tyres, I shall send it on hearing from you.

I have purchased tvs wego 3 years back.
Today, while filling the air, i realized that the rear tyre has major cracks and can lead to punctures and other issues. Earlier also, one crack has led to a puncture. I checked your website and it says the tyre is in warranty for 5 years. Please change this tyre under warranty (5 years). You may look at the pictures below.
