He didn't come to the exact pick up place. When I asked him to come and pick us he told me harshly to cancel the ride. He cancelled the ride and for that also we have been charged the amount. I need a number to contact customer care. I never expected such kind of service from uber. Do maintain dignity and never entertain stupid drivers from ur end.

    I had booked an uberpool cab wherein the money for the journey is showed prior to the start, where it was showing 90 rupees for me. At the end of the trip for the same uberpool trip they charged 248 rupees, the pricing invoice shows charges for minutes, distance and base fare which is normally done for ubergo, but i had booked uberpool. So how can they update it and charge more. On top of it the driver was rude, made a scene, stopped people on road and started telling them she is not paying since i did not have money and was waiting for a friend to come. I am a frequent uber user and i have used uberpool more than 100 times all the times with fixed charge displayed at beginning of the trip. I want my refund from uber at any cost for all the inconvenience they caused to me, my friend and insults i had to bear..

      I had booked a uber cab from andheri for vasai. Driver ajit took us to vasai and when asked for receipt he said their is a technical error and he was unable to produce the details of the receipt. He asked me to pay 750 rs. I have now got the receipt and it shows outstanding on 291.02 rs. I am cheated as the driver asked me to pay cash and also cheated me by overcharging. I am unable to book a new ride due to outstanding amount. The total bill is 456.02 and i paid 750 rs cash. This trip was on 14/8. My email i'd is [protected]@gmail.com. Please help me to resolve this.

          4 no driver arrived and no phone call from uber still my money deducted.
          5 this was very urgent pickup and uber dont have any responsibility and even they stolen my money.
          6 had to book ola cab again and ola driver picked me up at proper time after calling

            This is a very important incident that we would like to let uber know. Yesterday (14.08.2016) five o[censored]s wanted to transit from chromepet to nolambur. We booked a uberx and the booking time was 8:55 pm and the name of the driver was mr. Saravanan. Me, my handicapped father who works as a customs officer, my mother and my old aged grand parents (83 yrs and 78 yrs) were the travelers. The car arrived at our house and we had already entered the destination and had also informed the destination to the driver orally. We had 6 luggage bags with us. My grand mother and grand father had climber down all the way from the second floor and got into the car. The driver was talking to someone over phone regarding the distance of my destination. My handicapped father was struggling to carry the luggage. The driver did not move at all. Even after me requesting to help him, he said it was not his job. Ok accepted. After everything got settled. He told there is some problem with the device and told that the booking has been cancelled. But, he was having the phone in his hand. We requested him to wait until our next cab arrives which was 2 mins away from our pick up point. He opened the car door and asked my 78 year old grandmother to get down immediately. He started taking all our belongings out of the car. As a result of this i started shouting and there was a huge argument. I requested him to wait for two mins and told him that i will also pay him how much he asks but asked him not to throw the old people away because they cannot stand on road. For that he responded he had got the car for 9 lakhs and he can throw money on my face and abused my handicapped father and left. Me and my family members along with my grand parents who were in their 80s were standing on road with all the luggages. Hearing the noise my neighbors came and helped us take all luggage and also helped my grand parents by giving them stools to sit on the road. The second can arrived. It was at 9:15 pm and the name of the driver was mr. Yuvaraj. As soon as we booked the car we had entered our destination and also informed it orally over phone. But, as soon as the driver saw old people he asked us the destination and we said the same. He immediately said he won't come. My father asked him if he did not want to come then why did he accept the offer with the destination already being displayed. He said he doesn't know how to see all that and he responded angrily. My father said he has to come as there are old people. Before all 5 o[censored]s and almost 5 of our neighbors which included 4 ladies, he used an abusive word at my dad said he won't come. We were very soft and we never knew uber has such barbaric drivers. I said, i will note down the vehicle number and will file a complaint with uber. He responded uber can't even touch him and asked me to give a complain. After i told him not to talk bad words. He said a very abusive bad word in tamil before all 10 o[censored]s on street and sped the car away. We then had to book a fast track call taxi and we reached home at 11:30 where as our travel time was only 35 minutes. After this incident i can see that both the drivers have so much guts because uber does not take any action against them. We all were abused in front of a our neighbors and also were harassed. I hope uber knows troubling and abusing a handicapped person and senior citizens is a crime. I want to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone who lives in chennai anymore. I also want to make sure these loafers are taught a lesson and make sure they don't drive vehicles at all. I have decided to post this incident with proofs on all social medias and also have planned to raise a police complaint. I want uber to take action against both of these drivers. They not accepting to drive for us fine. But, uber solely has to take the responsibility for the barbaric crime that both of the drivers committed. I was also afraid if the second driver would man handle any one o[censored]s. And a uber driver throwing away 80 year old person and stating hw only cancelled the trip and abusing cannot be tolerated at any cost. I have sent the copy of this complaint to the local police station and also to the corresponding govt office. I have also asked help from friends and important vips through twitter to give us justice. I don't want these drivers to drive anymore. I am also afraid if the drivers would do anything to our family members if action has been taken against them. I have written up everything very transparently and if any threats happens to any o[censored]s in our family, uber will be responsible for this. I want this to be taken as a highly emergency priority complaint and response from your side as soon as possible. I also want uber to ensure safety of my family as there may be a threat from these kind of drivers. Thank you.

              I am defence officer, on 11 aug i booked uber taxi to travel from rajokari to new delhi rail station. One driver umesh singh responded bearing mob no [protected] and i contacted from my mob no. [protected] and [protected]. After reaching railway station he did some trick with his app and asked a bill of rs 366 on my insistance tht bill can not be more than rs 200 he used inappropriate language and told i will charge this much only do what ever u want to do i dont care the uber or words to that effect. Your e mail on my id [protected]@yahoo.com confirms bill of rs 186 and three fake mails of cancellation where as i never cancelled any booking on 11 aug. This driver is a criminal for sure and cheats with impunity kindly take stricktest action against the driver and refund excess money charged to me to maintain ur reputation and legal hassel of going to consumer court.

                For a morning trip to airport on aug 14th, i was charged the toll tax of rs 100/- twice. it is clear from the receipt i received.

                My details -

                Pls look at the receipt and try to understand that there has been a deduction of toll twice -

                A. one for entering u. p (source where i boarded the taxi)
                B. one for entering delhi (my destination)

                I should only be paying the toll after i boarded the taxi but it seems i've been charged for toll even when the taxi came was on its way to pick me.

                Ur drivers are totally unprofessional. Some of them does not even know how to use a GPRS system. I was even charged a cancellation fee even when the fault is entirely ur drivers'. They order me around to come to places convenient for them. One driver had even threatened me.

                    Hi,
                    In my Sunday trip with uber driver says to give 60 rs even my bill with uber is only 12 after rs 50 off.
                    He say that my total bill is 62.38. so please return my 50 rs in wallet.
                    Driver fraud with me so take strict action with him and add 50 rs in my wallet as soon as possible.
                    I call 2 times to driver to return my money but he did not pick my call.

                      I bring to your notice that yesterday( 13/08/2016 afternoon, I( Jatin Nagori, my mobile no. is [protected]) had hired Uber car with my family from satellite area of Bangalore, KSRTC bus stop to International Airport at 2:01 pm and I was dropped at 3.47 pm. When I received the bill, It was exuberant. I was charged Rs.254.42 as distance surcharges and Rs.120 as Toll charges at BLR.

                      I was unaware about the charges. In fact, there was no toll tax paid by the driver or seen any booth collecting toll tax. As a visitor at Bangalore, it was a blow from the blue at the time of payment.

                      I would also like to mention that the driver was not knowing any language except Kannada and Telugu. At least, they should know Hindi being national language and the best language of communication.

                      Though I am a regular user o[censored]ber at Ahmedabad, I am now shaken with this charges. I would also like to mention that I again hired Uber taxi at Ahmedabad airport to reach my home. The driver was driving the car at a speed not more than 40 km. I have observed this during my various rides.
                      I would like to get my extra charges of Banglore refunded to me.

                        Hi,

                        I have booked a cab on Saturday 13th August 2016 with Uber from Kiran Garden, Uttam Nagar to F block Vikas Puri. After waiting for10 min when i called driver he stated that he will take longer to reach the pickup location and i should cancel the trip from my app account. I told him to cancel te trip from his side as it will levy cacellation otherwise.However driver inssisted that i should cancel the trip. When i cancelled the trip i got a message that Rs80 has been deducted from my airtel money account as it was chosen to pay for the trip.

                        My complaint is that when it is driver's fault for not reaching the pick up location in 15 min then why i shud be fined for this.

                        Uber should refund my Rs80 ASAP.

                          We and our relatives are frequent user o[censored]ber, but planning to stop using uber service as it seems they have started all the bad practices once market is becoming good for them. Even if i see a free uber cab is waiting the driver has no call in queue in the normal/office hour they have started putting the rate 2x/2.5x everyday;this i have been observing for last few months. Now things are clear to me what uber is doing actually;though they say it's because of high demand... All crap. Cheating common people is now becoming a common practice by this type of business houses/people etc. So i/we have decided not to avail uber cab any more. Also we would suggest others as well.

                            Our brother’s daughter named neenu a ba animation student of eldo mar basellios college puthupady school of media and designing kothamangalam, was abducted by an uber driver named rohit mob no. [protected], [protected] who is a native of nedumangad, tvm. We came to know that he obtained neenu’s number when she travelled in his uber taxi. Using that, number he made regular contacts with her and he abducted her. Pls ask him to return her. Failing we would be constrained to take a legal action against uber and driver.

                              I was taken a uber ride in my indore city and ride is vijaynagar to gandhi nagar I have free ride promotion ride so the recipt is 15 rs only but the driver is taken 200 amount, this is not correct sir, and the driver is not talk to me good sir this is not correct because if I was give 200 rs uber auto then why I was use nrml auto sir I was use uber auto because I have free ride thats why and bye this the driver is taken amount 200 rs and sir recipt is 15 rs only and I have proof because I can talk with driver and recorded and he is telling that the only 15 rs is not correct but sir I have free ride so I have discout in ride

                                I received a mail from Uber support yesterday and I revert them with another complaint but I think that Uber is not paying any sort of heed to my words.This is really very irresponsible behavior that a growing services like Uber is trying to settle things by just some sweet words in a mail. I think the company is not understanding the problem faced by me.
                                I was sarcastically asking my money back in my previous mail which Uber should understand on the first place. but as Uber is not getting so I m writing this very upfront. I don't think that I am asking for anything which is not possible for them. As Uber is an hospitality services company so its their duty that if the customer is not satisfied with the services then they are supposed to pay back to the customer.
                                Earlier when things were all well then I haven't complained but as this was a worst experience so I want my money back and if it is not possible for Uber then let me know as soon as possible so that I could switch to some other cab services to ensure that this thing not happen to me again.

                                    I want to bring to notice an incident happened to me on the cab on friday evening 22/07/2016.

                                    I booked the uber cab from hoodi to kalasipalayam road ayyappa temple.

                                    The first driver named raju whom i called confirmed me for the pickup, but later he cancelled the trip himself without any intimation.

                                    Immediately i got an sms saying another driver will come for pickup.

                                    That driver named (Zeeshan) himself don't know my location and we guided him to reach the location.

                                    The driver zeeshan reached the pickup location very late and he knows the route to kalasipalayam main road and took us into different long direction route to reach destination.

                                    This driver drived the car very slowly and took 1.5 hrs to reach the kalasipalayam main road and behaved unethically with us.

                                    While driving the vehicle he was talking with his friend over the mobile phone by doing nasty things over the phone and was chewing tobacco.

                                    Normally the route from hoodi to kalasipalayam should not cross 18.3 km but he took different direction without following our instructed direction he took us in different direction which reached 22km.

                                    He took us via vidhana soudha, shivajinagar and b v k nagar route and overcharged us while reaching the destination.

                                    He drive very slowly and didn't concentrate on the shortest route to reach the destination.

                                    We didn't reached the destination on time and instead he overcharged us.


                                    Even cancellation fee was additionally charged me without having any reason.

                                    I was charged 372 /- with additional 50 /- was charged

                                    In normal case my route to destination will not exceed 18kms and the amount will not exceed 270 /- but original charge was very huge.

                                    My amount should be refunded as soon as possible without any delay.

                                    Also they don't have any proper contact number to notify the customer support team.
                                    .
                                    Please take a strong action against this driver and refund my amount asap!!!.

                                    After I sent a mail to uber support team [protected]@uber.com the uber customer support team didn't contacted me or didn't show any professionalism to refund my amount.

                                    Strong action should be taken against uber cab management people for not refunding my amount and for drivers unethical behaviour.

                                    They didn't provide any update till now and not contacting me for providing my amount of 372/-
                                    It's seems uber disable accounts without notice and when approached they give justification saying there is suspicious activity on your phone I do not understand this...even after repeated mails they are not budging...worst case I have account balance on my account.

                                      I am using my personal number for the past 5 years. But the vehicle driver o[censored]ber given my number as his number. For the past 6 months i am disturbed as many are making phone calls asking for the cab booking from andhra. I am frequently receiving the calls even in the midnight. I have made a complaint already. But the uber help service didnt't respond it properly. Help me to solve this issue.

                                        Driver refused to pick us from garuda mall mg road, bangalore on 24/07/2016 but uber took money from us in the next trip though we were forced to cancel the trip. Today on 8/8/2016, monday, a uber driver again refused our pick up and now we have to pay for that. Uber is extracting money from the passengers in a wrong way. Moreover some drivers are unprofessional. On friday, 5/8/2016. I booked an under cab. The driver suddenly took me through toll gate without asking my permission for which i had to pay extra. When i questioned him about not asking me before taking tha toll gate, he spoke rudely to me and was not allowing me to question. Uber should not extract money from the passengers when the trip is not accepted by the driver and teach some soft skills to its drivers. It is unsafe also to travel with some uber drivers. It's difficult also to contact uber customer care over phone as a proper contact no. Is not given.
                                        Uber India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                        I was over charged for Rs. 960 and showing as 55kms which is wrong and fake. I drove on 3rd Aug evening from Asian Instituste of Gastroenterology to Kothapet. The über shows the distance S 55kms which is wrong. Plz look into the same and do the needful
