Your driver kiran, car number mh46ad2429 was 20 minutes late.

He was still dropping off another customer while he had to drop me. And after being late he had the audacity to ask me to cancel his trip which would have costed me 60 bucks.

Then to top it all he came to the wrong location. What nonsense is this?

I want a status of what uber is going to do about this?

    Today 21/7/2016 my sister boss had booked a uber cab kl41 j 2295 ford fiesta from thevara to infopark the cab driver had a bad behaviour and was speaking so rude and had no respect to the customer using it as we were using it first time please resolve the problem as soon as possible by showing some action against him and i wouldnt recommend anybody use the service because of few such people who have no human respect

    Today i am travelled from kaloor to tatapuram road, my fare was calculated as per uber policy. that is 7 rs per kilometre. but in addition, uber charged extra rs.30. for time spendin gduring the travel. how fare this?

      Dear uber team,
      I have been using uber services since a very long time. But today i am really surprised that even after having a balance of rs. 470 in my paytm wallet, i still couldn't book a cab as it says low balance. Can you please clarify me how can rs. 470 be a low balance. Whereas with rs. 470 one can easily travel to delhi and come back and still you will be left with some amount.
      I don't want to add any amount in my paytm wallet till it comes to rs. 200. So tell me how can i use my 470 rupees now.
      I am really disgusted. You are cheating on people. This is really not acceptable.

      Uber charged me for a trip and then cancelled the cab. I made the payment via credit card. I have sent several emails to them regarding this issue, but they are just jerking me around. I have already provided all the proofs to them. I also have the email and the message as well as the statement from the bank that the payment was made to Uber.

        Mostly on daily basis i book a taxi for myself its always 20-25 mins late from where i book the cab n sometimes it charge me double in the afternoon without any odd timings. I'm fed up with the service the drivers don't even know the direction. Everyday there is a new joinee on the uber which do not the directions correctly. And i'm amused with the rates and delay of coming and the speed of the car is also low just to increase the rate if there is no response i"ll file a case towards the uber company as i'm a regular user n me a customer which is not satisfied with the service

          Uday, the cab driver mh. 02cr 3156 maruti suziki swift. Was very rude, bad behavior and use all the abusive words and told me to complain about him to uber. That he is not scared. He even told me to click his picture and send it to uber
          On top of that he threatening me that he will banned me from uber cabs. I'm a very regular passenger never had such a horrible experience with uber.

            On july 14th, 2016, i had booked an uber at around 10pm. After having called the driver multiple times and explaining him the route the driver did not arrive at the fed location. After having waited for 15-20mins i cancelled the cab, for which i was charged rs. 60 cancellation charges. The next day i. E. 15th july 2016 i had booked a cab, on route that journey i got a notification saying that i would be charges additional 60rupees for the trip that i had cancelled day before. After i clarified that i was charged wrongly for the cancellation and it was because of no show of the driver because of which i ad to cancel the trip, rs 60 was credited in my account. However, after that day's trip was terminated the charge shown on the driver's ui o[censored]ber was rs. 161 i. E. Rs. 101 for the trip + rs. 60 cancellation for the previous day.

            I paid in cash rs. 161. Thinking that rs. 60 had been credited in my account so rs.161-rs. 60 = 101 which was the charge for my trip.

            However, despite paying 161 in cash, rs.60 was debited from my account. So i ended up paying rs.120 in excess (Rs. 60 in cash + rs. 60in uber credit)

            I raised this with uber help. But the kind of replies that i have been getting are if anything, useless. Uber doesn't seem to be interested in addressing it's consumer's grievances (Please find the email chain pasted below).

            Also, since uber has started charging cancellation fees, cab drivers don't show up on time if they don't want to go to the destination entered. There is no difference in an auto rickshaw service, and uber.

            Please note that cancellation fees generally apply when a rider cancels a trip 5 minutes or more after requesting it. On uberpool trips, you may be charged a fee if you cancel your ride after you’re matched with a driver, regardless of the time after request. If you don’t meet your uber within two minutes of arrival, you will be charged a no-show fee.

            If you want to revise your rating given to your driver, you can do that from your email receipt for that trip (Bottom right corner).

            Hi abhishek,

            I understand your cancellation policy. Now take a sip of water and try and understand what my problem is, or forward this to someone who understands english and is committed to address consumer's grievances.

            I had rs. 60 credited to my account for wrong cancellation amount charged against my account. However, in the next trip, for which the charge was rs. 101 (Please refer to receipt attached in previous email) i was charged rs. 161, the amount displayed on driver's uber ui.In addition, the rs. 60 also got debited from my account. So, in short instead of rs. 41, i was charged rs. 161 i. E. Rs. 121 in excess.

            Rs. 121 should be credited to my account.

            For your reference pfa the receipt. Kindly note that i paid the driver rs. 161 in cash today because that was the amount shown on the screen when the driver terminated the trip. Later on i get a receipt for rs. 41! So, the driver was paid rs. 120 in excess of the receipt amount.

            I hope my concerns are clear to you.

            Happy to explain what happened. I see that your previous trip request was cancelled by you and since this was a cash trip, we recovered the cancellation fee with the next trip that you took.

            For this reason, you paid an amount that is higher than your current trip fare. To support both these transactions, we have provided you with two receipts which include the following:

            Current trip fare - inr 101.96
            Previous trip cancellation fee - inr 60.00
            * we have already added ₹ 60.00 of credit to your account. You can use these for future rides and can toggle them on/off at the confirmation screen.*

            Now that you have paid for these, you are good to go. Hope i was able to answer your question.

                Dear sir,

                Please note that i have booked one pool uber at about 04.30 p. M. Driver sumit had asked me about the place where i will go before coming and told me that he will reach within 5 minutes.

                I waited at my designated place of pick up for about 10 minutes and called him twice in his mobile (No. [protected]) but he didn't pick his phone.

                I am to state that i never cancelled the booking & your driver didn't turn up and he himself cancelled the booking without intimating me and for this act of his i have to incur irreparable losses as i couldn't go to the income tax office and my case was heard ex-party.

                Please look into the matter immediately and arrange to reverse the rs. 60/- wrongly raised on me under intimation to me.

                Uber pool driver made me wait for 30 mins and didn't turn up. Instead calling me and telling that I m at ur location. I asked I can't see u where r u? He said wherever is ur location I am at that place. And never turned up. When I wanted to cancel I was told 60 rs cancellation charges will apply. Shame uber no customer complaint center also.

                    I am yash from gurgaon, haryana and my phone number is [protected]. I am totally unsatisfied by ur cab services, this is the secind time happening to me like this. I was travelling from uber pool from sector 31 to omaxe mall sector 39, the amount that was showing in my phone was rs. 54 but in driver's mobile it was showing rs.114, don't know why.
                    This is the second time happening to me, totally unsatisfied with ubr, either thee is problem with yoir server or you are doing it intentinally.
                    Never seen such a bad service from any cab app.

                      My letter to uber. No action taken reported to me so far. This happened in june 2016.

                      I write to you to share an uber experience. I generally do not write to you people, but thought it is better to address an email to you as otherwise your call centre folks are going to select the most beautiful templates and reply to my email. I think you need to know how your business partners behave. And the liability at the end of the day rests with you.

                      I arrived in chandigarh earlier this week. I was here after four years, and the only great thing to change here, i felt, was uber. It was fast, quick, cheap and reliable. But then started the ugly parts. Some of your drivers are typical north indian goons, with most of them trying to achieve their daily targets of 18 rides to earn incentives. We consumers were never told his city has different uber rules - drivers said it is a point to point service, i don't get to select the route, and there is no concept of waiting at all. I thought you charged for waiting! Those were the little ugly experiences i had in the last three days.

                      Then came the ugliest. My mother, 59, aunt, 61, me and my wife ordered an uber from elante mall today afternoon (Driver details below). On calling him, he started getting irritated from the beginning, saying we need to come to one particular gate as it is a one way road. Rude, arrogant and careless, he sounded. But never mind. We are used to such driving an uber even in delhi. We sit in the car and say we want to go to the railway station and pick our luggage on the way. "it is a point to point service, " i was told. Fair enough. As a tourist, i have a right to inquire. And as a service industry, your partners better listen to an aggrieved customer patiently. I questioned why he can't take a route i ask for even if it is off route and then drop us somewhere. After all, i pay for kilometres and time of journey. Rudely he said, it doesn't work like that, his tone rising manifold. He said he will only go to one point, to which i say go to the hotel. "enter it in the app, " he shouts this time looking at my aged aunt. At this point, as even you guys would do, i tell him to mind his language. He was driving at this point. He says if we have a problem we can leave the car. I say just take us to the hotel and not to lecture us about point to point. He applies brakes, raises his tone, parks the car, and asks us to get off the car. All this in middle of nowhere in a town we don't know much about. My aunt says softly to the driver, "what you are doing is not right". He said he doesn't care. We all get out. Stranded, we feared we will miss our train. He cancels his ride. And moves on. Perhaps he has done brisk business since then.

                      All i can say is this is so, so shameful. Even if i get irritated or the rules of the city are different, he had no right to do what he did. It is like saying if i object to anything that a driver think is right, he rules and can throw me out. This has never even happened in delhi.

                      But this is so sad that you need to do something. A template response is the last thing i expect. The max you generally do is call the dude and say, hey don't do this in future. But of course, you have really not cared for customers as a company beyond a point. I have had instances of verbal misbehaviour with my wife in delhi. I do wonder what kind of training and hiring processes you have in place. They are a sham - because there was no way such an could have made it to your platform otherwise.

                        I booked an uber yesterday through my account ([protected]) to hazrat nizamuddin station. as the traffic was very high, the driver suggested me that i should take a metro rather than the cab. i inquired from my driver about the deduction in case i leave the cab at that point, he said that it will be charged according to the distance run and not what was displayed. but when my driver dropped at the nearest metro station (7 km ride) and stopped the trip he said that the amount was same that i would have to pay for nizamuddin station (30 km), since the ride was 'stopped' i couldn't continue the ride as i was already paying the full amount.

                        I would have complained then itself but i was about to miss my train and was in rush. dear team, i understand that i booked my cab via pool and there must be some guidelines to follow when one books a cab via pool but i feel utterly betrayed by the driver and his suggestions. being the one driving the cab since long, he was suppose to have the guidelines clear and had suggested me accordingly. i would have taken different decision, even uber in their application doesn't put any disclaimer on the fixed amount on the 'pool' option no matter you stop in a nearby location. i request you to refund my amount proportionately and make provision in your terms and conditions of 'uber pool' option.

                          A driver hits a biker and run even after telling him many times to stop. He was driving all the way very rudely and dangerously. This all happened on 15 July, 2016 at 9:45 a.m at Noida express highway near by HCL. Cab no: 8413.

                          Kindly take a strict action against him.

                            On 3rd july 2016 i booked an uber cab for a drop from picnic garden area to howrah station, kolkata around 3pm. since my exact pick up location 39a/2 bus stop / vip bazar were not showing updated in the apps location chart, i mentioned nearest location picnic garden, tiljala as was appearing/available on apps and chosen to call the driver mr ranjit the moment his contact details appeared on my mobile to guide him for the exact location barely approx 250-300 metre away from the place he parked vehicle.initially for the first time he lifted the phone and briefed him how to reach me. he listened and cut the phone. then i wait approx 30 minute and tried to continuously call him but every time it rang on and the driver chosen not to respond. probably he cancelled the trip of his own and left. since i had to catch train with short interval, i had to face lot of hardship to reach the station by other means with my family, kid and luggages. i also got fully wet as rain started by that time. it was an worst experience for me and decided not to book uber cab in future. more surprisingly i received an email after a week and charged my paytm a/c for cancellation fee. this is disappointing and gross negligence. through this mail i am requesting uber management to refund my money and advised concerned driver to refrain from such acts.

                              Time summoned uber share: 8pm
                              Time uber share driver came to the wrong location: 8:24pm
                              The wrong location is around 2 km by road and around 500m by displacement, understood he got lost and couldn't reach the location.
                              The driver came at the wrong place and 30 minutes late. I was then wrongfully charged 80 rupees for a ride i didn't even get on.

                                Hi team,

                                As per nhai, if you are traveling from the airport to the city, as of 1st april 2015, toll rate is rs. 120 and this amount will have to be borne by the passenger.

                                I travelled from electronic city to klia bangalore and was charged for a toll that is for ₹120. if i would have travelled from the airport to the city i understand the charges levied. however, in this case, there isn't any toll applicable still uber charged me a toll in the receipt.

                                This also makes me wonder that uber is charging this toll fee to its customers for all airport pick ups and drops. so when nhai is charging only 120₹ to cars plying from city to airport and then from airport to the city, uber is actually charging 240₹ to the 2 sets of customers. isn't it??

                                    I booked a uber cab on 10th july 2016 at 02:25pm afternoon from flat no 96 pocket 10, nasirpur rd, virender nagar, pocket 10, sector l, dashrath puri, new delhi, delhi 110046. and leaved at 2:58pm afternoon to shiv vihar rd, uttam nagar, hastsal, new delhi, delhi 110066, india.
                                    It was my first booking so i got rs 150 off promotion code. the driver asked me for rs 146 according to the fair charges but i received my bill receipt of rs 0 to because of coupon but still he took rs 150 from me forcefully after arguing a lot.

                                      I took a cab from tollygunge to saltlake. i asked the driver to take another way but he denied me and ended the trip far away from my destination. when my brother called him he misbehaved. he was really rude and dont know how to talk to a girl. kindly reply me within 24hours or i need to take some serious step against your company.

                                        I booked a cab today at 9:44 pm from camac street to my place and at the end of the trip was charged rs. 220 instead of the normal fare of abiut 110.
                                        On asking the driver i was told that there is a surge pricibg of 2 times. but i never accepted any aurge pricing and uber cabs can never be booked during surge pricing without specifically accepting it.
                                        Now they are refusing to pay back my money. uber has retorted to cheating and i think government should intervene and ask uber to leave india.
