This complaint is in reference to the booking in uber pool, where the person driving the Uber Cab was not willing to come to the pick-location and on asking "why you aren't coming", he used of abusive words and yelled on me. after which he also extorts me saying that "do whatever you can do", such type of behaviour is highly disappointing as i am a bonafide client o[censored]ber. next time onwards, i would keep in mind that not to book Uber ever.

    My account was disabled. I mailed to uber support and they asked me to give govt issued i'd proof n a screenshot of my contact numbers. I gave all the necessary documents that they have asked me to give. They mailed me saying the have activated my account. When i sign in a message says iit was disabled and when i register from a new id a message says the device has reached signup limits.

      I was travelling with my uber account no [protected] (india). on 26th july, at 20:03 hours, i was charged inr 80.0 for cancellation while the driver avdesh of maruti wagonr had asked for cancellation. further the same day in the morning trip, i was charged inr 55.12 in cash while deduction was done from my paytm account as well while travelling with randhir in maruti swift. kindly help refund the amount of inr 135.12 to my paytm account of the same number. i have been a loyal customer o[censored]ber's cab service. if the uber doesnot want to loose me, it must pay back inr 135.12 to my account. otherwise it would be a misrepute being propelled by words of mouth through me to my fellow passengers,

        Hi uber team!
        Find the attached screenshot of receipt i paid through cash but i got email as unable to process that time and added in pending dues in app.

        When next time i booked uber i have been charged with previous amount i paid in cash plus the current.

        Now
        Why should i pay double?
        How poor developers uber have who are responsible for such bugs?
        If this is happening with others too then collectively we can take legal action againt uber for charging customers twice.

        I want my 230 rs back and uber should pay extra 230 rs to me for this incident.In case uber fail to do so i will take this complaint to newspapers in telangana.

        The same thing happened to me
        . Cash payment done but status showing pending. Uber customer care in twitter asking me to pay the amount again for further trip continuation. They are unable to adjust the payment.

          Recently i have travelled from b n reddy nagar to nallakunta and it costed me 475rs in ubergo (No price hike nothing). How the hell did this happen? I have checked the route and receipt after the ride, it shows extra 36 km taken by the cab. It is clearly shown in the attached images. I want my half money back. My travelled distance is 20 km and the travelled time, i[censored] charge for that, that's okay i will pay for that. But i want my money taken extra for extra distance shown. Normally it costs around 200-250rs (Maximum).

            I have used first time uber cab on 1st june 2016. i had booked for igi international airport from noida sector 56, cab driver kulbhushan picked me from my location at 56 at 19.26 hrs and after 10 min drive he told me that he do not have more than 20km cng and he will arrange another cab for me in between when i said u knew the destination before i boarded your taxi he pleaded sorry. now my flight boarding time was at 9.30 i was in very frightend how i will reach airport as distance is too far. he then after 15 min droped me at sector 15 metro station noida as his cng was about to last and said he will not charge anything this service is free. but iwas shocked to see the message that the moment i was dropped at metro station 194.87 was deducted from paytm acc. he actualy made me fool and left me to travel to airport with such a heavy luggage to board my flight on metro from noida sector 15 to airport with such a heavy rush hour on 1st june 2016.
            I was using this uber first time, and had a very bad experience where i was charged for planned non delivered service from uber.
            Today 26th july 2016 i am being fooled and cheated again for rs 80.00
            As we tried uber again used the app to book it as the driver called me that where i have to go i just told him the destination from sec 56 noida to rohini delhi he again told he has to take cng then i said no to his service. but i was shocked again that by just talking to the uber taxi where i have not booked it i am charged by rs 80.00 from my paytm wallet simply i have not seen the cab even but he reported that he is at location and waited for 5 min and cancelled it and charged min 80 for this... i am really in fix that these driver are cheating and charging for service which did not asked even, is it this loot is happening and company sleeping. i am going to put my complaint to social media again and again till people stop calling and black list this cab service., i need refund of money back by default and compensation of my anxiety and frustration i go through the time i received the msg of deducting money from my pocket. i will sue the uber to consumer court tomorrow if no solution provided me in a day. umesh [protected]

              Team,

              I want to bring to notice an incident happened to me on the cab on friday evening 22/07/2016.

              I booked the uber cab from hoodi to kalasipalayam road ayyappa temple.

              The first driver named raju whom i called confirmed me for the pickup, but later he cancelled the trip himself without any intimation.

              Immediately i got an sms saying another driver will come for pickup.

              That driver named (Zeeshan) himself don't know my location and we guided him to reach the location.

              The driver zeeshan reached the pickup location very late and he knows the route to kalasipalayam main road and took us into different long direction route to reach destination.

              This driver drived the car very slowly and took 1.5 hrs to reach the kalasipalayam main road and behaved unethically with us.

              While driving the vehicle he was talking with his friend over the mobile phone by doing nasty things over the phone and was chewing tobacco.

              Normally the route from hoodi to kalasipalayam should not cross 18.3 km but he took different direction without following our instructed direction he took us in different direction which reached 22km.

              He took us via vidhana soudha, shivajinagar and b v k nagar route and overcharged us while reaching the destination.

              He drive very slowly and didn't concentrate on the shortest route to reach the destination.

              We didn't reached the destination on time and instead he overcharged us.


              Even cancellation fee was additionally charged me without having any reason.

              I was charged 372 /- with additional 50 /- was charged

              In normal case my route to destination will not exceed 18kms and the amount will not exceed 270 /- but original charge was very huge.

              My amount should be refunded as soon as possible without any delay.
              .
              Please take a strong action against this driver and refund my amount asap!!!.

                Airport convenience fee is added in my bill though there is no toll charge or convenience fee for airport drop in Chennai airport.

                Toll charge added in my bill but as per airport authority rules, there is no toll charge for airport drop and driver did not stop more than 2 minutes.

                If there is some convenience fee is taken by airport authority for airport drop then I agree with this but as per airport authority rule there is no toll charge/convenience fee for airport drop. But convenience fee is there for pick up from airport.

                  Hi,

                  I have a windows based uber mobile app.

                  I travel everyday to office via 'uber pool' and it never shows me fare estimate or surge, even though it shows these details in an android mobile app at the same time.

                  And since it does not shows me any fare estimate/surge i am never able to know how much my trip is going to cost me, which i come to know only when my trip ends as a result i get to pay 4x money sometimes.

                    I had the absolute misfortune of taking a ride with this ill mannered driver who charged me an astronomical amount as fare from god knows what calculation but also then resorted to threatening me and abusing me on the middle of the road when i refused to pay him a fare of Rs. 250 that he was demanding against an actual sum of Rs. 129 which was my fare due as per the uber reciepts.

                    I am not very clear on how you hire such drivers for your service but i suggest you need to have safer practices in place so that you do not assign such drivers fo the rides, which turn out to be a customers nightmare. He was the most ill mannered i have ever spoken to, who blocked my way and would not let me leave till i paid him the amount he demanded. How do you justify this rogue like behaviour? I find it indecent and inacceptable. I had to take police intervention several times to ensure that i can exit the situation safely after paying the amount due. The driver's notorious and unruly behaviour became a 'public tamasha' and not only wasted my time, it also embarresed me.

                    Also, would you care to explain why i cant view surges (how many times surge) clearly instead of guessing the same from the estimated amount shown as per the destination entered.

                    Please look into improving such faulty services!

                      Hi, i am a frequent user o[censored]ber. Few days back, when i tried to login it started showing unable to verify your account. Then i send a mail to uber. They said i violate one of their term and condition and they said i have to said one govn i'd proof. I said i didn't violate any of their term and condition but they didn't rply on that mail. Then i send screenshot of my govn id proof also.. But still uber is not reactivating my account. I don't know why this is happening. The same thing is happening with two of my friends also.In future i don't think that i will believe on uber.

                        I booked an uber at 5.24 p. M. Today and got a notification stating that a suzuki ertiga wb 052153 driven by mr. Mukti pada was on its way. After a few minutes the driver gave a call to say that he was not able to reach my destination due to road repair. I cancelled the ride and booked another one from a different location for a ride to health point nursing home, near motor vehicles from dr. Sudhir basu road. This time a suzuki swift dzire, wb04g 7385 driven by mr. Palash came. The drop destination was told yet he took a longer route and charged me a lumpsum amount of rs 213 along with a cancellation charge. I think i was taken for a ride today and made a fool by uber. Action is required on this subject promptly and immediately.

                        tonight i took uber cab from nana peth (pune) to lohgaon and the total fare was 0.14 as i had had a free ride but the driver forced me to pay rs 175 for no reason and started fighting with me the cab no is MH14CX9417 and driver name is HARIBA

                          Your driver kiran, car number mh46ad2429 was 20 minutes late.

                          He was still dropping off another customer while he had to drop me. And after being late he had the audacity to ask me to cancel his trip which would have costed me 60 bucks.

                          Then to top it all he came to the wrong location. What nonsense is this?

                          I want a status of what uber is going to do about this?

                            Today 21/7/2016 my sister boss had booked a uber cab kl41 j 2295 ford fiesta from thevara to infopark the cab driver had a bad behaviour and was speaking so rude and had no respect to the customer using it as we were using it first time please resolve the problem as soon as possible by showing some action against him and i wouldnt recommend anybody use the service because of few such people who have no human respect

                              Dear uber team,
                              I have been using uber services since a very long time. But today i am really surprised that even after having a balance of rs. 470 in my paytm wallet, i still couldn't book a cab as it says low balance. Can you please clarify me how can rs. 470 be a low balance. Whereas with rs. 470 one can easily travel to delhi and come back and still you will be left with some amount.
                              I don't want to add any amount in my paytm wallet till it comes to rs. 200. So tell me how can i use my 470 rupees now.
                              I am really disgusted. You are cheating on people. This is really not acceptable.

                              Uber charged me for a trip and then cancelled the cab. I made the payment via credit card. I have sent several emails to them regarding this issue, but they are just jerking me around. I have already provided all the proofs to them. I also have the email and the message as well as the statement from the bank that the payment was made to Uber.

                                Mostly on daily basis i book a taxi for myself its always 20-25 mins late from where i book the cab n sometimes it charge me double in the afternoon without any odd timings. I'm fed up with the service the drivers don't even know the direction. Everyday there is a new joinee on the uber which do not the directions correctly. And i'm amused with the rates and delay of coming and the speed of the car is also low just to increase the rate if there is no response i"ll file a case towards the uber company as i'm a regular user n me a customer which is not satisfied with the service

                                  Uday, the cab driver mh. 02cr 3156 maruti suziki swift. Was very rude, bad behavior and use all the abusive words and told me to complain about him to uber. That he is not scared. He even told me to click his picture and send it to uber
                                  On top of that he threatening me that he will banned me from uber cabs. I'm a very regular passenger never had such a horrible experience with uber.

                                    On july 14th, 2016, i had booked an uber at around 10pm. After having called the driver multiple times and explaining him the route the driver did not arrive at the fed location. After having waited for 15-20mins i cancelled the cab, for which i was charged rs. 60 cancellation charges. The next day i. E. 15th july 2016 i had booked a cab, on route that journey i got a notification saying that i would be charges additional 60rupees for the trip that i had cancelled day before. After i clarified that i was charged wrongly for the cancellation and it was because of no show of the driver because of which i ad to cancel the trip, rs 60 was credited in my account. However, after that day's trip was terminated the charge shown on the driver's ui o[censored]ber was rs. 161 i. E. Rs. 101 for the trip + rs. 60 cancellation for the previous day.

                                    I paid in cash rs. 161. Thinking that rs. 60 had been credited in my account so rs.161-rs. 60 = 101 which was the charge for my trip.

                                    However, despite paying 161 in cash, rs.60 was debited from my account. So i ended up paying rs.120 in excess (Rs. 60 in cash + rs. 60in uber credit)

                                    I raised this with uber help. But the kind of replies that i have been getting are if anything, useless. Uber doesn't seem to be interested in addressing it's consumer's grievances (Please find the email chain pasted below).

                                    Also, since uber has started charging cancellation fees, cab drivers don't show up on time if they don't want to go to the destination entered. There is no difference in an auto rickshaw service, and uber.

On uberpool trips, you may be charged a fee if you cancel your ride after you’re matched with a driver, regardless of the time after request. If you don’t meet your uber within two minutes of arrival, you will be charged a no-show fee.

                                    I understand your cancellation policy. Now take a sip of water and try and understand what my problem is, or forward this to someone who understands english and is committed to address consumer's grievances.

                                    I had rs. 60 credited to my account for wrong cancellation amount charged against my account. However, in the next trip, for which the charge was rs. 101 (Please refer to receipt attached in previous email) i was charged rs. 161, the amount displayed on driver's uber ui.In addition, the rs. 60 also got debited from my account. So, in short instead of rs. 41, i was charged rs. 161 i. E. Rs. 121 in excess.

                                    Rs. 121 should be credited to my account.

Kindly note that i paid the driver rs. 161 in cash today because that was the amount shown on the screen when the driver terminated the trip. Later on i get a receipt for rs. 41! So, the driver was paid rs. 120 in excess of the receipt amount.

                                    I was charged rs. 161 for this trip. The actual charge was rs.101 and rs. 60 for cancellation charges for my previous trip. However, i was wrongly charged this cancellation fees as despite waiting for 10 minutes, my uber did not arrive at my pick up location. Today i had these rs. 60 credited to my account. Adjusting for this credit the actual charge should have been rs. 41, but i was charged rs. 161 by the driver. I have no credit left in my uber account.

                                    Happy to explain what happened. I see that your previous trip request was cancelled by you and since this was a cash trip, we recovered the cancellation fee with the next trip that you took.

                                    For this reason, you paid an amount that is higher than your current trip fare. To support both these transactions, we have provided you with two receipts which include the following:

                                    Current trip fare - inr 101.96
                                    Previous trip cancellation fee - inr 60.00
                                    * we have already added ₹ 60.00 of credit to your account. You can use these for future rides and can toggle them on/off at the confirmation screen.*

                                    Now that you have paid for these, you are good to go. Hope i was able to answer your question.

                                        Dear sir,

                                        Please note that i have booked one pool uber at about 04.30 p. M. Driver sumit had asked me about the place where i will go before coming and told me that he will reach within 5 minutes.

                                        I waited at my designated place of pick up for about 10 minutes and called him twice in his mobile (No. [protected]) but he didn't pick his phone.

                                        I am to state that i never cancelled the booking & your driver didn't turn up and he himself cancelled the booking without intimating me and for this act of his i have to incur irreparable losses as i couldn't go to the income tax office and my case was heard ex-party.

                                        Please look into the matter immediately and arrange to reverse the rs. 60/- wrongly raised on me under intimation to me.

                                        Uber pool driver made me wait for 30 mins and didn't turn up. Instead calling me and telling that I m at ur location. I asked I can't see u where r u? He said wherever is ur location I am at that place. And never turned up. When I wanted to cancel I was told 60 rs cancellation charges will apply. Shame uber no customer complaint center also.
