I want to bring to notice an incident happened to me on the cab on friday evening 22/07/2016.

I booked the uber cab from hoodi to kalasipalayam road ayyappa temple.

The first driver named raju whom i called confirmed me for the pickup, but later he cancelled the trip himself without any intimation.

Immediately i got an sms saying another driver will come for pickup.

That driver named (Zeeshan) himself don't know my location and we guided him to reach the location.

The driver zeeshan reached the pickup location very late and he knows the route to kalasipalayam main road and took us into different long direction route to reach destination.

This driver drived the car very slowly and took 1.5 hrs to reach the kalasipalayam main road and behaved unethically with us.

While driving the vehicle he was talking with his friend over the mobile phone by doing nasty things over the phone and was chewing tobacco.

Normally the route from hoodi to kalasipalayam should not cross 18.3 km but he took different direction without following our instructed direction he took us in different direction which reached 22km.

He took us via vidhana soudha, shivajinagar and b v k nagar route and overcharged us while reaching the destination.

He drive very slowly and didn't concentrate on the shortest route to reach the destination.

We didn't reached the destination on time and instead he overcharged us.


Even cancellation fee was additionally charged me without having any reason.

I was charged 372 /- with additional 50 /- was charged

In normal case my route to destination will not exceed 18kms and the amount will not exceed 270 /- but original charge was very huge.

My amount should be refunded as soon as possible without any delay.

Also they don't have any proper contact number to notify the customer support team.

Please take a strong action against this driver and refund my amount asap!!!.

After I sent a mail to uber support team [protected]@uber.com the uber customer support team didn't contacted me or didn't show any professionalism to refund my amount.

Strong action should be taken against uber cab management people for not refunding my amount and for drivers unethical behaviour.

They didn't provide any update till now and not contacting me for providing my amount of 372/-
It's seems uber disable accounts without notice and when approached they give justification saying there is suspicious activity on your phone I do not understand this...even after repeated mails they are not budging...worst case I have account balance on my account.

    I am using my personal number for the past 5 years. But the vehicle driver o[censored]ber given my number as his number. For the past 6 months i am disturbed as many are making phone calls asking for the cab booking from andhra. I am frequently receiving the calls even in the midnight. I have made a complaint already. But the uber help service didnt't respond it properly. Help me to solve this issue.

      Driver refused to pick us from garuda mall mg road, bangalore on 24/07/2016 but uber took money from us in the next trip though we were forced to cancel the trip. Today on 8/8/2016, monday, a uber driver again refused our pick up and now we have to pay for that. Uber is extracting money from the passengers in a wrong way. Moreover some drivers are unprofessional. On friday, 5/8/2016. I booked an under cab. The driver suddenly took me through toll gate without asking my permission for which i had to pay extra. When i questioned him about not asking me before taking tha toll gate, he spoke rudely to me and was not allowing me to question. Uber should not extract money from the passengers when the trip is not accepted by the driver and teach some soft skills to its drivers. It is unsafe also to travel with some uber drivers. It's difficult also to contact uber customer care over phone as a proper contact no. Is not given.

      I was over charged for Rs. 960 and showing as 55kms which is wrong and fake. I drove on 3rd Aug evening from Asian Instituste of Gastroenterology to Kothapet. The über shows the distance S 55kms which is wrong. Plz look into the same and do the needful

        Hi,

        On 6th Aug' Saturady, I booked a Uber CAB for travelling from Holiday Inn to Pune Airport. After waiting 15Mins, the CAB driver came & told me that he would not go to Airport as I had 2 Luggage of Bags which was approx 7KG each & the CAB was booked with UberGo. So, he would not go & Told me to book a CAB with UberX. I told him, the Uber has booked you & he had to decide, so you better discuss with Uber Support Staff. But he was not ready to discuss with the Uber Staff & told me to call & provided a wrong number of staff. So, he went away without providing any support. The name of the Driver was Girish.

        I want a immediate action on the Driver & want you all to provide proper training to them.

          I had book an uber from thane and the drop location was kalamboli on 28th july
          Post the end of the trip a bill of appx 120 rs was generated. However the driver claimed that there was n error in billing and asked for an additional money of 560 rs appx. I have already has a word with your representative over a call about the additional payment. However i have not received a receipt of the payment. Request you to generate and email the same to me on urgent bases

          Further there is no call support only email.
          On email since there was suspicious activity it was disabled without notice.
          Hi I order uber and cancel it aND driver charge rs 50.on my credit card and now after 24 hrs he charged another 123 rs again. I got email.notification. we didn't use services and he is still charging on to my credit card. Please resolve it

            On Saturday evening I book a ride with uber. i got a call from driver i was in front of your office gate but when I went to check outside of my office gate he was not there. He started the trip itself without reaching the pickup point. INR-80.68 debited from my account due to such cheating. because of this reason i cancelled that trip. i need refund of INR-80.68 to my wallet

              Recently there has been many incidents that drivers are avoiding longer trips due to a faulty incentive policy by Uber India. If driver completes certain number of trips Uber provides incentive to them. This is causing a huge problems for customers and Uber has no clue how they are compromising customer's security while framing such incentive policies.
              In recent times there have been many cases where I was dropped off in between a trip by the drivers after knowing my destination making certain excuses. I travel from a suburban working location to my home through a national highway which is not much of a safer place at night. Uber has no customer care number/support. I even mailed them at the very instant but I get mail from "Uber emergency support" after 2 days and they ask stupid questions from me that for which ride i raised the complaint. Isn't it obvious from my mail that for which ride I raised the complain, actually they do not read any complaint and just send a template email.
              Now who would be responsible if something happens to the customer on night time on a derelict highway? From whom should customer expect help? Uber cannot provide even a second cab irrespective of the fact that any internet signals are available or not or many other things.
              Keeping this thing in mind, I think Uber is not fit to do business in India. Every country is different, its dynamics are different and if you do not work according to it then probably you should pack up.
              It is time that someone should ask this question legally i[censored]ber is fit to do business in India

                I traveled using uber cab on[protected], 11:19 am, before travelling I added 200 in my PAYTM account and selected payment mode as PAYTM. After completing my travel total 113.64 INR got deducted form my PAYTM, even then Uber driver asked me to pay the same amount. I need my 113 refunded in the Uber account.                   I take trips from office to home fares come around 120-130Rs(screenshot regulardays and regulardays_charges attached ), distance approx 10k.m. but this trip, the pick (12:45pm) and drop locations(1:23pm).. 31 minutes...

                  Distance calculated between the same start and end point is 25K.m. wrongly calculated and I was charged 323Rs.. (charged attached)

                  I tried reaching uber support but they haven't helped resolving the issue.

                    I had fixed an appointment with doctor in Tilak Nagar New Delhi. To go there with mywife I got ready after talking to driver on his Mob[protected], but he did not turned up. After that again booked on Uber app but all three drivers on Mobs [protected], [protected] and [protected] refused abruptly to go to delhi on the pretext of that he has no CNG and that he did not have license and that in delhi there is disturbance. My valuable one hours was lost and had to cancell my visit to doctor apart from mental torture. . Such a horrible experience of the Co. Tried to contact on their h.O. No [protected] but no response . I think co should shut their services in Gurgaon as drivers all ready to go as per their convenience and not as per customer services. or once they are booked it should be made mandatory for them to go.

                      Was charged 300+ rupees as against estimate of rs. 254 while i go receipt only of 186.
                      I had booked a trip on july 28 2016. After accepting, driver did not want to travel. Driver cancelled the trip even without arriving at pickup location. However i was charged with cancellation fee of rs.60.
                      I realized this today. I complaint regarding this by selecting "driver cancelled" in app today. However it seems you have treated it otherwise and charged me double.
                      I am very confused and expect you to return my money.

                          Booked an uberpool on 29/7 wherein it was being displayed that the car was 4 minutes away, the driver did not arrive even after 20 minutes. I was forced to take an auto when even after calling the driver, the car did not arrive within another 5 minutes. The driver did not cancel the ride and he kept on calling me continuously to cancel the ride and i end up cancelling the ride and paying cancellation charges.

                          I would like a refund.

                            By mistake i typed relief road as my destination... Then i told him that that was a mistake, and i changed my destination (Original) as bapunagar... He rudely said that "boss, i will not drop you there as under won't allow me to do so"... I explained him that i've changed the destination to bapunagar and reflecting in under app... He said he will drop me maximum at kalupur chokha bazaar... And anxiously ask to give him 5stars... As i was getting late for work i gave him 5stars and got rid of him... Then i tried getting a uber moto but there was no availability so i ordered under go... I'd demand to get me back my 2 free rides and refund rs7+rs116 charged again

                            I have got acknowledgement of the complaint, but hence not got reply from uber service centre.

                              The issue pertains to an unauthorised trip which was made in hyderabad yesterday i. E on[protected].

                              I was surprised to receive a confirmation call regarding booking of a trip from hyderabad even when i was not present there. I confirmed to the driver that i had not booked the trip twice.

                              After that i was surprised to receive an alert that amount of rs.184.37 was debited from my paytm account for the trip.

                              I am not sure how could a trip be booked without my initiating it and charged for the same.

                              I have attached a screen shot containing the detail of the trip for your reference.

                              This is a serious matter and i request you investigate this lapse and take corrective action under advice to me.

                                On 14 July 2016, I took a ride from Sector 15 Gurgaon to IMT Manesar. At Hero Honda chowk, the driver denied to go further and ended the ride.

                                I had booked another taxi at Hero Honda chowk to IMT Manesar, but the taxi did not arrived. At the time of booking expected time of arrival of taxi was 5 min and the driver said he will arrive shortlyy. But did not arrived for more than 30 min. I called the driver many times, but did not answered afterwards.

                                I took an autoriksha to IMT Manesar. I reached my office late and deducted half day leave.

                                On my next ride, I was charged Rs.80 for cancelling the trip.

                                  I got to book a cab from east Tambaram upto Mugalivakkam.
                                  Driver Name:Vignesh, Am not sure about the vehicle no.
                                  He picked us from East Tambaram on a normal fare.Rs.204.
                                  On the way his vehicle got punctured and I asked him to book a cab for me from ullagaram.
                                  He booked a cab which has a surcharge.And that was not informed to us.
                                  When we got down in Mugalivakkam, I came to know that it has a surcharge fare of Rs201.
                                  On total I paid Rs.331.
                                  Y should I pay Rs331 in place of Rs.204,
                                  And that was completely a drivers fault.
                                  Don't you train your drivers to take a proper check before a drive.
                                  Y should I take pain for the drivers carefree attitude.

                                    As i booked the cab in mumbai from bandra place the driver told me to come to the pick up location as i was already standing outside my building and was guiding the drive about the way and the exact location the cab has to reach as i was getting late but he took some other turn and could not reach me and went to the other side and as i was in hurry so booked another cab. As per some new thing now uber will charge rs. 100 extra on cancellation as it was not my fault so that amount should not be deducted from my account.

                                      Uber had created an unnecessary outstanding balance against me and i tried to contact them several times but they never followed up so i discontinued using their services from past 1 year. out of nowhere today balance of 221 from my paytm account has been deducted mentioning “clearing my outstanding balance against uber”.
                                      I was being nice enough to only ask for the refund of the money. but now i will file a case against your company by showing the screenshots that how you cheat your customers and then to please them you make false promises on social networking sites and in reality you make no efforts to actually work on them.

                                      Uber is a big time fraud company. Uber deducted 221 from my paytm wallet after showing an outstanding balance whereas I paid the driver in cash at that time. I tried to contact them but no number was provided by them in their website so i stopped using their website. after 2 months they are charging money from my paytm wallet without any reason and even paytm is not validating any security check on my wallet.
                                      On posting a complaint on facebook #uber page they are showing as if they are going to reimburse the money whereas in reality they are playing smartly to make others feel that they are providing their customers with real good customer service without refunding their money. I have the screenshots with me where they agreed to refund the money but that has not happened till now.
                                      I want my money back

                                        Hello,

                                        Yesterday (31/7/16) took a cab from Pune Airport to Baner at 10.40 am, driver was Akash. Bill was of Rs. 315.55 but the break-up was not visible due to network issue. He convinced me to pay him another Rs. 85 on account of parking charges within the airport.

                                        Later on, the email statement indicated that Rs. 315.55 had the element of Rs. 85 parking charges included in it.

                                        Please organize to refund the money or waive form the next bill.
