We (myself & my wife Hymavathi) booked Uber Autos for our journey in Hyderabad on[protected]. The concerned Auto Drivers claimed direct payment and accordingly we paid. But later we observed that the relavant fares were also deducted from our payment vallet automatically.

Hence we are trying to get back our money.

Details of our journey :

i[protected] at 5-10 P.M. Rs.431-57 Uber Auto trip with RAMES
(We also paid to the Driver Rs.430-00 through Google Pay);
ii[protected] at 7-46 P.M. Rs.514.45 Uber Auto trip with KORRA VIJAY
NAYAK
(We also paid to the Driver Rs.413-00 through Google Pay)

Please do the needful & refund our money, at the earliest possibility. Awaiting your positive response.

    Yesterday i was booking an auto i was surprised to see the price of auto. The offer value was decrease from 24 percent to 21 Percent in just 3 days.
    In return it increases the fare by 10-15 rs

    Please look into the issue

      When I booked my ride, the price was showing 551 rupees but the driver intentionally changed the route and kept us waiting for almost 35 minutes for filling the gas and after the ride end it was demanding 831 rupees . This is a serious concern o[censored]nfair Trade practice . Please take my concern into action . This is seriously repeating practice from uber India

        I booked a package delivery today i.e on june 06, 2023 3:51 pm, the rider mr. tarun was assigned to it and taken the duty. after arrival at my location, i told to mr. tarun below points very clearly multiple times:
        1. i have made the payment online (maine payment online ki hai)
        2. i have made the payment online via paytm. (mere paytm se paise kat gaye hain)
        3. temporary hold has already been put on my account and payment got deducted already for that. (unhone temporary hold bhi lagaya tha jiske liye maine 22 rupee extra pay kiye the to complete 100 rs. hold)
        4. i had shown the payment receipt by uber to him (dekho ji payment receipt bhi aa gayi hai unki.. ab payment huyi hai tabhi toh receipt aayi hai).

        he continuously argued with me with below lines:
        "nahi nahi bhaiya paise nahi aaye"
        "yeh aise hi hota hai likha aata hai bas paise nahi aate"
        "aap payment kar do"
        "aap mujhe paytm karo geeta ke naam se aayega"
        "jaldi karo"
        "ek duty pe aur jaana hai"

        & told me his payment upi number, so after his unnecessary, forceful and rude compulsion, i had no other way to deal with that situation and neither i had any phone number o[censored]ber support to tell the situation to them so, in compulsion, i made the payment to him via bhim upi se payment mujhe karna pada via transaction no.[protected] time: 6 jun, 2023 4:37 pm.

        the inr 96 is not a huge amount but the main reason of reporting the incident is,
        1. his method of asking payment out o[censored]ber

        2. the way he do forceful compulsion to make payments on his number (geeta bank account).

        3. not listening to the customers in any manner.

        4. he demands money out o[censored]ber and creates hurry in customer's mind by saying "jaldi karo" "jaldi karo".

        5. the mechanism he used to trick the money was forged, cheat, fraud and unavoidable to the concerned govt. departments.

        the entire experience was not healthy for any customer and his nature based upon above grounds can steal the money from any customer o[censored]ber and sign of mental harrassment. he was trickling me to get the money without understanding my point with his forceful behavior.

        i do regular transactions with ola, uber, zomato, swiggy & these kinds of cases are generally very rare but unavoidable.

        kindly inform, if any rider demands money out o[censored]ber, how to deal with those cases and where is your urgent helpline? on what phone number customers can discuss for such cases with you immediately on urgency?

          On 4 june 2023 at around 7.30 am i booked uber ride from my home to old delhi railway station. He came and we started seating in his car then suddenly noticed that his tyre was flattened. I ask him if it is puncture then i can arrange another vehicle for me but he said that his tyre is fine and just need air refill. Then on the way after around 500 meters we stoped on a petrol pump. The man said that this tyre is puncture and can not be filled with air. So the car driver asked us to book another vehicle. We tried but no one was going to railway station, then he droped us at our home. Due to this we were already so late that we missed the train when we reached there by our own car.

          After returning to home i found out that i was charged for the trip with waite time charges too. I complained on their customer care and they returned only 4 rupees insteed of 125. Now they are not responding.

          The vehicle number is: HR55AC2311
          There is no order number in the trip details.

            My sister book a cab
            And cab driver misbehave with her in late night around 3am
            He is saying while driving that i need to go home i forget my charger at home
            So i turn the car to my home
            My sister fight with him and then he came straight to home
            Also he is doing very rash driving
            And he is not taking payment by online he said i only use cash n cash only
            Lot's of reasons this complaint
            First you will received a complaint from my end

              For two of my trips by auto I paid the full amount in cash, but both trips show outstanding payments. I can't book any more Ubers and no one has responded to my complaint in the help section.

                Seems Uber is running some scam by cheating customers.

                Recently, on 10th May 2023, hired a rental cab in Kolkata for 3hr / 30 Kms.
                Cab no. WB 11 E 1253.
                Driver name: Sunil Das
                Trip start time: 12.20 pm

                On the first drop, driver started asking for money (Rs. 300-400) for parking. I was hesitant since my luggage was still in the car and driver could have just escaped. So informed him that he can let me know the amount (with receipt if possible) and I will pay when I start the second trip.

                On this the driver came out of the cab making statements like "you bloody rental people" and dropped my luggage out of the car ! and threathened me for sharing the OTP !

                In an unfamialiar place in diff city, obviously I got scared and gave away the OTP.

                Tried connecting to Uber but no success. So narrated the incident on their app. and in response Uber blames me for sharing the OTP with the driver !!

                This is a disgusting attitude o[censored]ber ... instead of prioritising the safety of passengers and making sure that such driver partners are not running on the streets ... they are blaming the victim (me) so that they don't have to refund me the trip amount they charged in full for "19 mins" !!

                I explained them the whole issue on the app and followed up 4 times but Uber has not responded at all !!

                I think this is some kind of a scam Uber is running via their rental cab service (similar incident happened to me in Pune as well) wherein their driver partner threatens to get the OTP before trip completion while Uber gets away charging full trip amount by blaming the customer instead !!!

                Was wondering if there any Govt. forum where such issues could be taken up ?

                  Is it possible for Uber to change the pick up location? This is to bring to your notice that Uber has charged me for an unknown location whereas my location was from ambience mall gurgaon, gate no.:2. But it has charged me for airport pick up. I need my refund within 48 hours!!

                    On 16.05.2023 I took uber auto on my usual office route. The outstanding Rs. 80.75 has been paid through UPI but the payment is still showing outstanding and I am not able to book any rides. Kindly check and make the payment through, it's really tiring to encounter the same problem again and again.

                      On 15.05.2023 I took uber auto on my usual office route. The outstanding Rs. 73.90 was paid through UPI but the payment was still showing outstanding so I got confused and paid it for a second time. When I checked the account statement the amount had been paid twice. I informed uber through trip help but they refused to refund. Kindly support to get my money back.

                        I paid the fare once the trip ended however it went into processing so I asked my friend to pay since it was getting late but later on my transaction was successful as well so I need the payment I made back.

                            I booked a cab to travel from my college to the airport via the Uber app. I opted for the online payment mode and paid the driver an amount of 1182 Rs through his GPay account.

                            To my surprise, despite having made the payment, I received a notification that the amount is unpaid, and I am currently unable to book any further rides with Uber. This has caused me considerable inconvenience and has impacted my ability to commute efficiently.

                            I have attached a screenshot of the trip details and the payment for your reference. I kindly request you to look into this matter urgently and provide me with a resolution. I would appreciate any assistance you could provide to rectify this issue as soon as possible.

                              A trip from Navi Mumbai [Airoli ] to Ulhasnagar, Total payment shown was 397 rs. Payment mode was PAYTM, driver has to end the trip from his end in order payment to get deduct from my PAYTM wallet. He was not ending the trip from his end saying "it's asking me to collect CASH, you give me CASH then only I will end the trip. Some application issues."
                              After lot of phone calls, he ended the trip where fare total changed to 597. which is almost 200 bucks more.
                              Attaching the Payment Receipt that generated later for the trip. when driver finally end the trip from his side.

                                I had a horrendous experience with uber while traveling from Mumbai Airport to Thane. The 1 hour trip was one of the worst experiences in my life. It was in the mid afternoon and the AC was not functioning. Me and my family were completely drenched in sweat and were stinking. When I wrote an email regarding this to Uber support they reduced the fare from Rs.763 to Rs.663. Does uber think Rs.100 is the price for sweating for 1 hour in their car ? Hope Uber takes such complaints seriously and don't consider human beings as animals.

                                  Dear Uber India,
                                  I booked a ride on 23- April-2023 from shamshabad to Punjagutta the fare was 399.34 and driver name is Lachiram vehicle No: TS25T7486. The driver demanded payment through phonepe and i paid same way, but after that the ride amount is showing in Outstanding, please help me with this issue and i’m attaching the ride details and payment screenshorts.
                                  I hope you will solve my issue earliest .
