Not returning the phone that was left in the car

Charged additional amount then the estimated amount stated

When i booked the cab @ 08.17 hrs from Bannerghatta road to Indira Nagar it showed me the estimate as 230,

Now a days they say there is no surge price, instead of surge price they started giving an estimated fare. The estimated fare for the distance is usually Rs. 176 to 180/- if you book the cab before 0830 hrs.

Despite the estimated price was high I have booked the cab.

Now i am even more...

Cheating the customer by producing fake receipts

I booked uber from anna nagar to neelangarai,. Trip end at neelangarai but driver started to cheat suddenly by telling my phone got switched off i can't stop the ride.. Uber charge extra than the amount shown while booking the ride

Today on 30 of august, i had a ride with uber from gandhinagar to btm layout.. Uber charged me extra money.. While booking the ride it was shown only rs 79, but after the ride, uber charged me extra 100.. So total i had to pay 179. What is this going on..? You'll just cant cheat people like this. Itz a bad image for your company itself. Kindly do help me regarding this....

Amount Deducted before Booking a cab

I have tried to book a cab from Kacheguda to Suchitra, Hyderabad. While booking, it showed me estimated amount as Rs 168.00. I asked me to add amount for booking, i then added Rs 200.00. Now when i tried to book, it again asks me to add money to wallet. I then checked my paytm wallet and saw Rs 168.00 deducted from Uber and shows balance Rs 32.00. I didn't even book the cab, why my amount was deducted?
Why uber does not allow cash...

This email is regarding deduction of money amounting to Rs.181 from my Paytm account. All though it was a free ride on uber cab. The name of the cab driver was Ramesh Babu and the cab was a swift desire. The ride was from ST.Theresa PU College to Sanjaynagar on 12th may 2015 on 350pm. I had 3 more rides which are no more there to use. I want to know how far it is justified to deduct the amount Rs.181 and 3free rides without acknowlidging...

      Hi,
      Every-time whenever we book the ride the driver ask to pay extra to them mentioning the driver was asked by uber to pay them extra i was supposed to pay Rs 46 but they charged me Rs 70 is this what uber do in kolkata every time.

      Either you refund that amount to us or be ready to take other forms of action since you guys have trained the riders to be like this.

        I booked Uber for package delivery on 31st October 2024. The driver cancelled the trip in mid way & rode away with the package. The same came to my knowledge after worrying about non-delivery for long hours. I have been chasing with Uber either to pay me 1000 rupees from drivers account balance or to update me about the action that they have taken against teh driver so that the person doesn't dupe anyone else in future, but without success.

        Uber do not charge for such trips where the driver frauds but aren't they liable to make our loss good from drivers account balance and take action against these cons so that we don't get cheated in future.

          ( some discrepancies were arrised in 1st emails)

          1) On[protected], the uber auto was booked for Secunderabad Railway station and the ride amount Rs.256.06 was paid before the raid through UPI, but the auto driver has not attended to drop the Secunderabad Railway station and asked me to cancel the raid. So the raid was cancelled on[protected]. I have not utilised that raid service and amount Rs.250.06 was already deducted from my bank account vide Transaction ID.S22682129 & Ref No. UPIAR/[protected] /DR/UBER IND/AIRP/uber. This was happened in Hyderabad, Telangana state, India.

          2) On[protected] again the Uber auto was booked at Nellore/ Andhra Pradesh/ India an evening, again the amount Rs.156.44 was paid from my account before raid. After deducted the amount, the auto driver has demanded more money and I refused to pay an extra amount, because he rejected to attend for drive / trip. the amount was paid before raid Rs.156.44 vide UBI Transaction No. S34867130 & ref .UPIAR/[protected]/ DR/ UBER IND/AIRP/uber and raid was forcedly cancelled

          the trip was failed.

          I here with attached the Uber site screen shots of trips cancelled for both trips and also amounts debited from my Union Bank Of India account screen shots for perusal. Hence I request that, Please arrange the refund of advanced paid amount to uber services immediately.

            I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to report an issue regarding a recent Uber ride.

            I left my expensive Apple AirPods, valued at around 25, 000, in the vehicle. Immediately after realizing this, I contacted the driver, who initially agreed to return them. However, after multiple attempts to reach him, he has blocked my calls and messages.

            I then reached out to Uber support, and they assured me that they would contact the driver and get back to me. Unfortunately, it has now been almost a month without a proper response from Uber. While I have been in contact with them for the last two weeks, I have not received any updates, and communication has now ceased.

              I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with a recent experience using your service.

              On 10.9.24, I booked an Uber ride from my residence Hamdard Public School Talimabad to Indira Gandhi International Airport T3 via the Uber app.

              Unfortunately, the driver canceled the trip without a valid reason after I had waited for him for approximately 30 minutes, which caused me significant inconvenience. He wasted my time and just kept me busy with the location issues so that later on after wasting my time, he cancelled the ride.

              This is my second complaint email. Previous incident was on 2.11.24. Drivers are very casual, after booking, they make sure that they will ask for the destination. If the destination is convenient to them then only they will respond otherwise they know how to tackle the justified cancellation and bring a bad name to the company they belong to. How can we trust Uber now?

              I understand that occasional cancellations can occur; however, this instance left me in a difficult situation, as I was depending on the ride for an important flight. Not only was my time wasted, but I was about to miss my flight. I took my own car and now also my car is parked at the T3 terminal despite the driver being at fault. If you require I can even share the parking receipt as well.

              I kindly request a review of this case, and I would appreciate it if you make some policy for no cancellation of the ride or authority to the driver to inquire about the destination before arrival at the pick up location. Strict action should be taken against such drivers.

              Some screenshots and other details are attached with the mail. It will help you to investigate.

              Additionally, I hope that measures can be put in place to prevent such inconveniences in the future.

              Please let me know if any further information is required to resolve this matter.

                In my uber account there is Rs.150. After attempting 2 failed attempts of buying an Uber shuttle package. Both attempts failed due to insufficient funds in Uber cash. But whatever money was there vanished..
                I attached a screenshot when I have Rs.100. which vanished after my 2nd attempt.

                  On 27th June 2023 Uber driver cheated both me and Uber company by dropping me at my drop location destination but the driver did not end my trip and showed the company that the customer owes me cash but the actual situation is that I I have proof that he paid full amount of 1412 rupees online through Paytm UPI to me the driver said my mobile battery is down you send money to this mobile number he took money from his relative's account and showed to uber company that customer gave me cash money He lied to me that it was not paid and on the company app it shows that I have not paid and with them it shows the payment as unpaid basically I paid all the money through Paytm Youpay. I request that strict action be taken against these cheating drivers

                  So now i am not getting any uber car when booking they say on uber app first pay rs 1412 which is unpaid

                  Why should I pay again the entire Rs.1412 I have already paid?

                    On 30.03.2024, I took an Uber ride (2-wheeler ride) in Gurgaon, Haryana. Due to the carelessness of the driver, I met with an accident and injured my right hand. I had taken treatment in a clinic and had expenses worth 2500/- I even took leave from work for 3 days. Since 30.03.2024, I have been pursuing Uber, I have sent them more than 5 correspondence and reached out to them on social media. They have replied that they will not compensate, and I will have to reach out directly to their insurance. After reaching out to their Insurance company TATA AIG I have not even received acknowledgement.

                      I had taken an Uber ride on 28th December 2023 from 710 Ustad Amir Khan Sarani to 38/3 Kshettra Mitra Lane where the displayed fare was INR409.66 . However the driver took a longer route and our final fare came to be INR542.
                      The driver took a different/incorrect lane after moving down the bridge and this resulted in a longer route to reach the destination.

                      I had raised a complaint within 2days where I was assured that extra fare charged due to the driver's action will be credited back to my Uber wallet. No amount has been credited back till date. I tried to raise a complaint on the app many times after that, but it showed an error.

                      Please look into the matter & help me get back INR132/ to my Uber wallet

                        I booked a uber moto trip through uber app from dilshad garden, delhi to noida sec 62 dated 7-aug-2023, before the trip the fare shown was about Rs 95 after automatically applied promotion, also I have not applied the promotion manually it was automatically applied on uber app. But after the trip the fare charged was Rs 124. When I contacted customer care, they said they cannot adjust the fare. What kind of joke is this? Can you see there is difference in amount what was shown and what is charged. I continued contacting uber even today, it's about 5 months, now they are saying that we cannot adjust the fare because the trip is older than 30 days also they said next time if you report the issue within 30 days we will resolve it for sure. I think they have the habit of shooting in the dark as I had already reported the reported within 30 days and still reporting even today they are not resolving my issue. Such a difference in amount and not refunding the balance amount indicates what? It's a fraud! This company is using dirty tactics like auto promotion to attract the customers then loot money from them. When customer ask for money they give excuses in order to hide their mistakes.in other words, they are exploiting the customer. Where is your development and testing team? Haven't they reported the issue that customer is facing while booking the vehicle for trip on which auto promotion is applied. The status of system can be traced by number of complaints registered on that date. They haven't maintained any log of anything neither complaints nor chats. Their development and testing team doesn't report any issue to their customer care officials as they are hiding their mistakes. Their development and testing team is unprofessional. This company uses the auto promotion as a tool to make money and exploit customer. It's more than 5 months this company has not refunded my money. Please find attachments in order to refer the proofs also, in the proof please see how their reply keeps on changing. I am reporting the issue to this company for 5 months still they are not listening to me being an old customer. This company doesn't know how to treat their customers. Mistakes done by their development and testing team should be traced in order to get the balance refund. Refund my money asap.

                          I am a senior citizen (74 years old), who travelled alone by Uber for the first time from Nalla Sopara (E) Tulinj Road to International Airport on 16 Dec at around 11 pm, Car no MH 05 DK 4061. Driver name was Ratnakar. He charged me more than actual amount. Ride details stated Rs. 890.84 as total cost. But the driver Ratnakar took Rs.970 from me. Since I was travelling alone, a senior citizen and my flight was out of country, he was sure that I would not be able to take any action on him. My email id is [protected]@gmail.com. Please reply. I dont have any account with you. So how to file complaint?

                          I never used any online payment app. I don’t know how to book taxi. I was under the impression that I need to book in advance, so I was trying to book about 12 hours before trip. But when I realised the taxi is arriving in 5 minutes. I called the driver to talk, but he did not reply, so I cancelled it. (so I am not complaining about the incomplete trip. This is another trip.)
                          Later on I requested a young man to help. He used his phone and account to book the taxi. He forwarded the ride details on my phone and told me to pay Rs.890.84 at the Airport. When the taxi arrived he gave the OTP to the driver. He also showed the amount to the driver who agreed. I was the only passenger for the entire ride. Trip was non-stop from the pickup to destination. There was no stop anywhere nor any diversion. The driver decided his route. At the Airport, the driver Ratnakar started fighting with me and demanded more money. I gave him Rs.1000 ( 2 notes of Rs.500).Since I did not have change, he refused to return change and kept extra money. This way he charged Rs.110 extra and drove away. He also mocked me and challenged to do whatever I can.
                          Is this the way people treat seniors in India? Seniors are looted loke thei when they are alone? I am ashamed of you people who bring bad name to the country.
