I had a trip with Uber on the 31st of December and I was supposed to receive my money by the 1st of January but it didn't come and I talked to their customer representative many times. I haven't received the money till now, I am just trying to do it. They will come today. They will come tomorrow. It will take some time. Please help me. I have 3 thousand 300 rupees with them. Many times i call in customer care but just received the massage and feedback option

    (1). I made an advance reservation with Uber for a premier cab for 2 am on January 27, 2023. Uber confirmed this reservation on App and on email.
    (2). At 1:55 am (five minutes before the scheduled times of departure), the Uber App showed that the allotted cab was 25 kms away and that it would arrive at 2:38 am. I immediately called the driver, but the call was unanswered.
    (3) Should I have waited 38 extra minutes and missed my flight? And what if the driver never arrived?
    (4) So I immediately cancelled the Uber booking (at 1:55 am) and was lucky to find another cab to reach the airport.

    Despite the above, Uber has charged me a cancellation fee and refuses to refund it. I've exchanged several messages with their help centre associates, who keep repeating that “reservations cancelled less than one hour before the scheduled departure is subject to a reservations cancellation fee”.

    Given their technology, they have all the above data. How in the first place can they charge a cancellation fee when their cab would have arrived 38 minutes later than the scheduled time of departure, and then repeatedly refuse to refund it.

    Uber must refund the full amount that they have charged as cancellation fees.

      Dear Team,

      I travelled by uber on 15th January 2023 from Viman Nagar, pune to Borivali west, mumbai with driver Pandurang and the trip was on digital payment mode. After boarding and travelling towards mumbai pune highway, driver stopped at petrol station and asked me to pay him 1k towards fuel and he will deduct at the end of the trip. I informed him that it was an online trip however he mentioned that he will be in problem since he doesn't have money to continue the trip and I can pay cash and complained to UBER that driver has collected cash. In fear of getting stranded in the middle of the road with baggage, I paid him for the fuel and balance on completion of trip. After returning to mumbai, I have complained on the app however I was given some discount and asked to make the payment for the balance amount.

      I have been explaining since then however it's been very disappointing experience since i am still asked to pay. After being the user o[censored]ber for few years now and from my usage, at least the team can determine that i am not looking for a free trip a i have never bothered for the trip amounts. I have never asked for compensation or free trips even when i had issues with driver hence i am thoroughly disappointed to be treated like this.

      Please investigate and let me know since i still have 1088.17 payment shows pending in my app and due to which i am unable to use the application. I feel cheated when after paying cash, i have been asked for money again.

      Looking for a closure to this mental agony.

        I took an Uber ride on[protected] in Delhi. The ride total was Rs. 1206 which I paid to the driver on the paytm no. provided by him.
        He updated a receipt of Rs. 900 only and hence there is an outstanding or Rs. 306 showing on my app. Not only is this fraudulent but it also makes it difficult for me to use the app for future bookings unless this issue is resolved.

        I as a customer feel so targeted by such malpractices because first the drivers demand cash payments and then they report incorrect receipts to put extra burden on the customers.

        The issues has already been raised by me while rating the driver after the ride but I am yet to receive a response from Uber.

        I request Uber to get this resolved at the earliest and update me about the same.

          This is regarding my Uber trip on[protected] in Delhi. My trip total was Rs. 1206 and I paid the full amount on a Paytm no. shared by the driver. He only updated a receipt of Rs. 900 in the app and Uber is claiming the balance Rs. 306 from me. I have tried to raise the same through the Uber app under help section but I am not able to reach them directly. The drivers are using any and every way to loot there customers. First they demand to make the payments in cash instead of making them on the app. And when we agree to that, they scam us.

          I hope Uber either contacts me for any further discussion or gets this resolved immediately.

            I engaged an UBER Car for 6 hours on[protected] at Anna Nagar Chennai. The car came on time, but my partner was not yet ready. So I gave the OTP to start the trip. But in 5 mins when we were ready to start the trip, the car had a starting problem and would not start. The driver had to cancel the trip as a consequence.

            Now I am being charged an amount of Rs.1979/- for cancelling the ride after OTP.

            Please cancel the payment request as soon as possible.

              I took a ride on uber and selected cash as the mode of payment, after the ride I paid directly to the driver and I have proof for that. But he didn't update it on the app and now Uber is asking me to pay again for booking any new ride.
              I am not able to use the app even after making the complete payment of Rs 863. I have attached the proof of payment in the name of the driver.

                  Dear Sir / Madam,
                  I booked an uber cab for one of my friends for going to Airport - terminal 2 at Mumbai. On reaching the destination, my friend made the payment in cash to the driver. I had received a request for payment through UPI since I had registered mode payment through UPI; which I did not approve, since I knew friend will pay in cash to the driver.
                  While booking the cab estimated fare was shown around Rs.500/=. I was told by my friend the driver showed the app with Rs.603/= as the fare and they paid Rs.620/= (Rs.17/= as tip to the driver). The continue to show as “payment Failed” Amount as Rs.479.39. After some time I wrote to Uber support stating the above facts and requested them to check and let me know whether payment was received by the driver in cash.
                  I gave the details as required by the uber support team and now they are asking me to pay Rs.129.39 and showing the amount as outstanding and informing me that I am required to clear this amount before booking another trip with them.
                  These questions raised by me remains unanswered.
                  1. How was the amount of Rs.129.39 outstanding is arrived at.
                  2. Whether fare determined as Rs.732.39 (603 paid in cash Plus outstanding of Rs.129.39 and the details for that.
                  Having failed to get any reply for these 2 questions, I asked the Uber Support team let me know the appellate authority with whom I can take up the matter. Even that request is not heeded. It appears that they have decided not to reply me.
                  Some extract of my e mails

                  I am unable to understand how you arrived at the figure of Rs.129.39.
                  in the first sentence you state "We reviewed the trip details and as an exception, we’ve updated the fare to INR 129.39 for the extra cash you paid." In the next paragraph and sentence you say "clear the outstanding balance of INR INR 129.39 for the trip" These are contradictory statements. If I have paid extra cash, why clear the outstanding and where is the outstanding and in fact it should be lying to the credit of my account.
                  Now the details:
                  1. Payment failed as per information sent on completion of trip Rs.479.39
                  2. Amount shown as per your app on completion of trip Rs.603.00
                  3. Amount Paid in cash Rs.620.00 (excess paid may be considered as tip to the driver)
                  4. Excess cash paid to driver[protected].39 Rs.123.61
                  It may not be out of place here to mention that the fare estimated at the time of booking was around Rs.500 ( less than 500/= (which I do not remember exactly now) or could be the figure of Rs.479.39 as shown in 1 above.

                  Hope you will look into the matter and clarify on the issues raised herein
                  Will you clarify how the fare for trip has been calculated and adjusted?

                  Please give me fare calculation and how the adjustment is made and arrived at the outstanding amount of Rs.129.39.

                    I had made a ride on Jan 21, 2023 from Sivaji nagar bus stand (Bengaluru) to suraksha landmark, BDA, 80 feet road, arekkere bangalore by booking uber car using my sons uber account. The uber showed a maximum amount for ride as Rs 280/-.Car driver name was Hareesha M S. After reaching the destination, the driver urged us to pay Rs 385/- to him. But when we denied it he urged us to pay the amount into his account showing the QR code. As i was new to city iI paid the driver Rs 280/- for the trip using my upi account (Transaction number: T2301211346502218261655). But When I open Uber app it shows that I owe Rs. 272.79 which i declined to avoid double payment. I paid it just because, he urged us to pay into his account . That trip payment still stands outstanding and this needs correction. I am unable to book the ride due to this. please help me to come out of this double payment

                        I had made a ride on Dec 11, 2022 from my Nandanam to mmda colony and paid the driver for the trip. When I open Uber app it shows that I owe Rs.83. But in app it's showing as pending understanding and unable to book Uber now

                          I completed a trip on the 18th of January, 2023. I had to pay the amount online, which the driver also knew. He accepted the ride and reached the location. On reaching, he refused to accept the online payment. My payment was already set to be done online, but he was adamant on being paid in cash. I had to pay him in cash. When I open the Uber app, it still shows me an outstanding payment of 72 rupees. I am not able to book any ride. Highly disappointed. Please look into the matter at the earliest.

                              I have paid by google pay to my driver when I took the ride. But it showed as unpaid in the app, and I had to pay again to take another ride. Also my Paytm was linked to the uber app and I clicked on it and it got paid to Uber. So I paid twice. Can you refund me for the additional payment made.

                                I had taken Uber on 27 December 22 from AFNOE, sector-7, Dwarka to Delhi airport T3. I had made payment to driver through UPI, but the Uber app is still showing the payment as pending. I have sent screenshot of bank statement showing the payment to be completed, however the customer care is not responding. I need the bill showing that the payment has been done.

                                  I booked a ride through Uber on 10:55 AM on January 11, 2023 from my New Delhi Railway Station to Ibis hotel gurgaon by Maruti Swift Dzire and paid the driver for the trip. The price of the entire ride was Rs 620 ( as mentioned by the driver) and I payed the full amount via PhonePe UPI. When I open Uber app it shows that I owe Rs. 339 and have only paid Rs280. I have talked to the Uber customer support via support chat/email (they do not provide option to call). They are not fixing the issue and are demanding me to pay extra Rs339, on top of Rs620 which I have already paid for the ride.

                                    My dad never used uber app, and in recent time he is getting calls every now and then for pickups. he is too old to take calls every hour. I have tried to reach uber by twitter medium but it seems it not helpful yet. please i need help urgently before my fathers mental health gets disturbed by these calls.

                                      2nd time charge Date : 07.01.2023 - Uber Ride charge 321.00 INR accumulating with previous charge.

                                        When we booked uber for returning from Airport the driver called us and forced us to call on a different number so the call was not recorded and began to negotiate for paying him personally. When I didn't agree he came and put our luggage in the car and then began asking for payment. We were all ladies in the car. When we refused to pay him in advance he began to abuse and was loud and harressing us, insulting us and he forced us to take the trip and was driving dangerously while through the trip he was talking to a friend on the phone. If you keep such drivers its a shame and I m going to report this to your International office.
