I had made a ride on 9:11 Am on April 25, 2023 from my home to STPI phase 8 Mohali and paid the driver for the trip through Google pay . When I open Uber app on next day for ride it shows that I owe Rs. 116.29. If Payment is not done then How can driver let me go? I think problem is with Payment Method. Might be I have selected Phone pay in Uber but do Payment through Google Pay directly. This way Uber will lose his customers.

    Dear sirs
    It is become very difficult in Bangalore to get auto rides through apps like I have a differently able child to drop to school and have to start booking 30 to 45minutes early continuously and never get any ride and have to compromise for cab which cost double the auto fare Ola Uber are hopeless in Bangalore.

      Double payment for same trip

      On 24th April 2023, I booked my trip from Chennai airport to chennai central railway station and the trip showed Rs. 525 fare. I chose payment mode as UPI as I was not carrying cash, but as soon as the ride ended the Uber driver - Lakshmi Lenin asked me to pay directly to him by showing a gpay QR code. When asked about the app showing the Rs.525 due amount he said it will be refunded. Trusting that I had paid him directly but my account still...

      On 22 April 2023, I booked an Uber. The driver didn't have cash for toll so he asked to pay him in cash. So that he could pay the toll.
      The trip was booked, with payment option as digital. I changed it to cash which was visible at the time of the ride. I paid the toll as well as the entire fare to the driver.
      Yet in the app it's status is shown as unpaid.

        Hello. I took a cab today, i.e 21/4/23 at 8:30 am and after arrival, i couldn't do online payment due to glitch with the app. I was unable to make online payment. I had to pay in cash. in the evening when i took a different ride and after reaching the destination, the amount to be paid was added with the previous ride amount. It is not my fault that the previous driver didn't update the uber portal. I have been charged twice for one ride. What is the mode of reembursment?

          Yesterday i was booking an auto i was surprised to see the price of auto. The offer value was decrease from 24 percent to 20 Percent in just 3 days.
          In return it increases the fare by 10-15 rs

            I booked an Uber cab from Mumbai Airport Terminal 1B at 08:05 pm on 18th April 2023. The cab number was MH47Y3019 and the cab driver name was Sanaulla Mohd Yasin Jaman.

            For 15 minutes I kept waiting for the cab while I could see on the map that the cab was not moving from its place though it was just 1 km away from pick up point. After some time I got a call from the driver saying that the car is not working and therefore I should cancel the ride. I said I am waiting and if he has a problem he can cancel the ride. After some time I saw the cab moving and approaching the pick up point and the driver called me again and said I have reached. However I couldn't see the car anywhere and he cancelled the ride.

            It appears he did it purposely to take a revenge since I did not cancel the ride and kept waiting. Also there was no scope to call as the phone numbers became invalid as soon as he canceled the ride.

            Nowadays the driver can see the destination therefore why a driver has to accept the ride and make the customer wait if he is not interested to carry the customer to the destination

            This is sheer harassment and such drivers should be barred from the app

            I seek a strict action against such riders with an acknowledgement as this has become a regular phenomenon and the customers should be put into trouble for such casual behaviors of the drivers

            Also I was charged a cancelation fee for no fault of mine.

              Today in afternoon i took an uber auto. Later i was shocked to see that the price of auto was high . later i saw the promo offer value is changed from 24 Percent to 20 percent in just 3 days.

              May i know the reason why the promo value is drastically change

                On 14 April, 2023 my sister took a ride from Aminagon, Guwahati, Assam 781039, India to Nalapara, Sarusajai, Guwahati, Assam 781034 at 9:02am, using my uber account. before the trip I opted for payment using UPI but after the ride the driver kept insisting her to pay to him directly. she was in a hurry because of the programme she had to attend, so, she made the payment of Rupees 700 directly to him using Google pay. But, uber is not accepting that the payment is cleared. they are asking me to pay an amount of Rupees 677.20 for the same service again.

                  Trip dt 22.10.2022 uber ride booked and completion of trip paid 335 cash to driver even that also showing as OUTSTANDING
                  Since from that day raising queries to uber but unresponsive not resolved
                  But as on day showing as your ride is above 30 days cannot be refunded
                  This is not the fair way

                      Uber drivers are charging Airport pickup fees from the passengers. It is not the charge levied the government on to the passengers.

                        I have first time tried to book the uber cab but I was not available so I kept my phone aside and then my friend searched another cab, but after reaching the destination the call arrived and said I am on location and I said I have started the ride and then after while ride in another cab via uber the fair shown was 83 ra and after reaching to destination it showed me 187 so Uber charged in 104 ra extra, so my concert is that u er does have right to misbehave and put penelty on me

                          My name is Yogendra Singh Chauhan. I drive for Uber Cabs India. Uber is cheating me and blaming me for a fraud. Uber stopped my earnings of Rs. 10764. I used to cash out my daily earnings on daily basis or uber made it for me. But since last week uber stopped my daily payout and scheduled it for weekly basis. I had a doubt on uber if they will not deposit my earnings to my bank account. My weekly payout scheduled on 3 April 2023. Uber processed the payout then suddenly transfer was failed. And payout was rescheduled for 10 April 2023. And my account is now blocked for temporarily basis. I am unable to go online. When I open Uber driver app issues with my account shows there. And when I click on the issues link, a massage appear that "your account is blocked, if you think it is not right contact uber support." But when I contact uber support my call is not answered by any agent, Only a IVR massage comes that your account is temporarily blocked, wait for 24 hrs. How can I get to know what happened to my account and when I will receive my earnings. I am receiving messages from uber appreciating me for the work done and earnings last month. But not transferring the earnings to my bank account. How can I be appreciated and blocked at the same time for the same work done last week. Please reply me when I will receive my earnings and when my account will be unblocked. Please unblock my phone so that I can ask you what fraud is done. I never cancel any ride too.

                            I had a very bad experienced by using uber.

                            I booked an uber from my phone using uber wallet cash, and the driver informed me that uber wallet cash would not be deducted and that I would have to pay cash only. I didn't have time to discuss it because I rely on Uber and was in a hurry too.

                            I paid online, and a copy of the receipt is attached.

                            Also, the driver had charged Rs. 240 extra as a toll, but I later understood that there would be no charges for the customers to pay; everything is included in the fare only.

                              I took a Uber cab from Terminal 2 (T2) of Indira Gandhi Airport, Delhi to Mahagun Moderne Society in Noida on 29.03.2023. The trip started at 08.46 PM and ended at 10.05 PM. The actual distance is around 43 km. However, the Uber charged me for 181.42 km (Rs. 2837). Ironically, the bill is showing that the cab covered a distance of 181.5 km in 1 hr 16 minutes. It was so disgusting and feeling of being cheated is hurting me.

                                I had booked a ride on Uber on 28th Feb 2023 for approx. 6 kms within the city only. In my fare they have unreasonably airport charges and toll charges. I also contacted the support team but haven't received any response from them yet. It's been more than 1 month now and haven't received a single response from them.

                                  To travel a bit back a month back on 26th Feb-23 i had booked Uber to travel to Infant Jesus Church, Viveknagar. The fare was Rs 206.71 for which i changed the payment option from cash to Gpay. My bank as well as GPay account already shows a debit Rs 206.71 for which the i lodged a complaint even to Gpay customer support.

                                  The response is they have confirmed that the payment has been affected at the same time and same day. My Question how will the driver allow me to get off the auto if had not paid him - in fact he also confirmed the payment.

                                  Now what is Uber Billing system actually trying to say ? There is no way to reach them as all the support is through the app. My sincere suggestion is put also an option for double payment. Why are they not doing the same ?

                                  I am not booking any ride from them going forward because its more of a mis-management of systems rather than a service oriented venture.

                                  Till today it shows that i haven't made the payment - i[censored]ber wants to save money without keeping a customer support without voice than good luck to them. How can the app do everything everything which is in human by nature.

                                  My though process is how do o get the billing corrected becoz there is a glitch somewhere in their system. If this continues further i am already losing my trust n faith on Uber and their billing and service.

                                  In this digital age how can their system say it's outstanding where my bank statement says it's paid. This is grossly unfair and no business ethics to put the onus on the rider for forcing them to do double payment till then the ride is freezes. Honestly it's some kind of a monopoly mandate and customer voice has no role to play - you either pay or don't take a ride.

                                  What is Uber Top management doing ? Are they aware if their system billing and payment has passed the UAT - also their developer do they take pride in their app. All the same what is the CEO Dara Khosrowshahi doing ? Is this service meted out to customers ? I am attaching the proof of payment . Kindly resolve or i just see this as a utter nonsense to waste each other time.

                                  Who sis the cuplrit for this ? Bank - Gpay -or Uber ?

                                    I took trips with Uber and selected Gpay but at the end of the trip the app didn't support payment so I paid the drivers directly to their QR code and I have screenshots for both still later to make new bookings Uber app asked me to make payments so I had to make double payment on Mar 23rd. I logged tickets but they never got resolved and I never received my money back. There is no way to call you and explain all this but this is not fair I have all proofs that I made payments 2 times for the trip. Please help me get a refund.
