This is to raise our serious concerns with respect to the exorbitantly high bill of our electricity consumption. We have been residing at a-3/153, orchid greenfield, applewoods, ahemdabad, since october 2015. Our consumer no is [protected] and meter number is utp0291270. Until march 2019, the electricity bill has been reasonable, within the limits, as per our consumption. Lately, since april 2019 onwards until this month, i. E. July 2019, the bill raised is incredibly high and swinging upwards beyond our expectation - as has been observed. This comes to you, basis our experience of consuming the electricity at the same rate but never getting charged as we have been, in these last four months. Although it would be unfair, but yet very relevant to put forth that our neighbour whose usage of electricity is way higher than us, have not faced any such discrepancies with respect to their bill charge-apparently, it is much lesser than what has been charged from us - almost 50% less. Since we feel it is extremely unfair on the part o[censored]gvcl to be overcharging basis some errors in our meter reading or otherwise, we request your urgent intervention in this regard. We would specifically like to know if there is any kind of issue with our electricity meter or any other error that has taken place inadvertently. May we expect you to kindly look into the matter immediately and revise the bill straight away. Also, we request you to rectify the error, as pointed above, so that we are not overcharged again.
