Uniconnect sim card for Saudi was such a bad experience for my wife and i. We were travelling to Saudi for religious purpose and our sim would not get any signals. We even contacted the customer services and they kept on assuring that it would work, but it never got fixed. Our kids back home were also worried cz they cud hardly get thru our number. Such a bad deal.. Shame!!

    I was travelling for work to Thailand and took a prepaid Uniconnect sim card, thinking i would control my bills accordingly. Turns out i over spent recharging my number as without making any calls, my money was being deducted. When i called up the customer care they said that its for data that i was using, when i wasn’t even using any data. Such liars who are there to mint money and nothing esle.!!

      Beware o[censored]niconnect and its absolutely useless staff. I was travelling to Thailand with friends and took their sim and activated a data plan for a week. I couldn’t have been worse.. My data plan was unlimited for a week and it stopped working after 2 days. On contacting the customer care, they said my plan was for a 2 days so its all consumed now. I mean give me break guys! Bloody cheats! On arguing my case and sending them a copy of my plan, they activated the plan the 5th day. Such pathetic staff training and horrible services. You guys shd give us a headache pill with a sim as well !!!

        I went with a bunch of friends to Malaysia after our final exams and we decided to purchase one connection from Uniconnect instead of multiple nos. But the number didn’t work for most of our trip. When we contacted Mukesh at the customer care he promised us it would be rectified but the issue never was. We ended up paying for a new connection which didn’t work plus extra on calling home from random phone booths!

        Uniconnect Sims — very bad customer care service

        Someone told to use Uniconnect for international travel as it would help me save. I must admit that that is a misconception! You end up paying way more than you actually use and calls to customer care are never answered. So terrible! Please never use this.

My UAE no. is-[protected]. my complaint are as follows, 1) As per given information, that I will get 5 UAE Dirham as an balance amount, after activation of SIM. 2) SIM was activated on after three days.             i was leaving for a tour of scandinavian countries. At T3 airport in Delhi, i went to buy a prepaid sim from their counter inside the airport. Salesman took a copy of my boarding pass and passport and gave me a sim with phone number wriiten on it.On reaching at my destination, i realised the sim was not working. After lots of mail interaction i was told that 1. the number written on sim card cover is not complete. 2. Sim given to me is not valid for scandinavia . I have been mistakenly given a sim for usa. I requested them to refund my 2000 rupees upon arriving back in india. Inspite of several calls and mails, uniconnect is not responding at all. It is an absolute case of cheating as well as deficiency of service. First, they gave me wrong sim because of which i had to waste lots of time and money, secondly they are not even refunding my money. vinita gupta [protected]@yahoo.com

              I have called, requested and complained Uniconnect staff for the sim card purchased on 3rd Aug from Mumbai International Airport for USA. This number has never worked ever since my mummy has reached there.It has been more than 20 days that she is out of contact with us and family in india. Now [protected] has stopped attending my phones, the mobile number given on site is also not responding. There is not solution to what mymummy can do without any calling card and sim. Uniconnect has put us in such a big problem. Mummy knows no one in USA and she made a mistake by trusting on UNIconnect.
              Please advice us where to file your complain. I want to raise this issue to consumer court so that no person ever get in such a problem. Mummy only had Rs 1300 on her but your staff took her in so much confidence that it is a great product and will be your point of contact while in USA that she ended up paying Rs1300 + $10. Disgusting that companies like you also cheat and then instead of solving problems, you stop attending calls from those who complain. I am also sending a copy to consumer support and want this issue resolved.

                Hi,

                I had been to Bangkok and had purchased a Uniconnect Sim Card to make calls back home from Bangkok. Had purchased that card so that i won't be expensive. While purchasing the sim card, Uniconnect people had taken my credit card copy for security reasons and i was suppose to pay my bill once I'm back. When i came back from Bangkok, i got my bill via mail with an itemized statement.

                Uniconnect directly debited the bill amount in my credit card account without even intimating me.
                They also charged me some data charges and when asked, i was informed that i have sent mail from bangkok using that sim card (from my phone). I'm using a Blackberry phone and my data services were off, how the hell can i send/receive mails.

                This is pure cheating with a customer. And when asked them for an explanation, they have just sent a mail and post which there was no further communication from their side. My bill date is 6th March, 2012. They don't even bother to call back or give a explanation to it.

                  It has been over a year of follow-up with numerous emails sent back and forth. We have paid the money for the sim card in advance. However we have still not received the Sim card. I even have letters of receipt signed & stamped by the company.

                  The company doesn't care the slightest about customer services. They dont reply to emails, they dont want to reply on the phone. If it is a service providing companuy, all they care about is money. If they cannot provide the service a year later, they must atleast return the money.

                  This is the height of irresponsibility & taking the customer for granted.
                  I agree, please dont approach Uniconnect Sim Pvt. Ltd. for any services

                    Hi, all because i have suffered i don't want anybody else to go through the same trauma thus here I go.
                    I have used Uniconnect SIM pvt ltd's SIM during my tour at UK but it was so crap that I got literally frustrated and had to buy a local SIM from UK.
                    Firstly, u hardly get any connectivity then if fortunately sum times then the voice quality is so marvelous that you feel highly disgusting....
                    Hope so this will help u thing twice b4 going for Uniconnect service...
