Uniconnect sims have the worst network coverage. It was like being fake connected to your family back home. While they knew what number I was using in Singapore, they could never get to me neither could i. For most of my times I was calling from the payphones there. That’s some really crappy way of being connected in this world. Total disappointment.

Its better not to use a Uniconnect sim card than use it… I realized it after I landed in Dubai and tried to use it. The sim card was totally spoilt. The free minutes that I was supposed to get, weren’t credited. And when I called the support center, they were least interested in addressing my problem. They clearly said that they cant help me with anything and I will have to wait for it to reflect and then just disconnected without any signals. I am totally disappointed with their service and I will tell this to all my friends who travel. Never to use their services ever if they wish to be connected.

Never trust Uniconnect sims for anything. I was using their sim card for only purpose of it being a prepaid service. Thinking using prepaid would be better than carrying a postpaid number, but I was wrong. Their service in Australia was so so so bad. There were no signals and recharging their number is a really expensive deal. For such a pathetic service provider, I still landed up spending 10K on it. Total waste of my money. Never using it again.

Uniconnect Sims have the worst reach possible --- Please if you’re traveling to Malaysia, think twice before you fall in their trap of a pre-paid sim card and being cheap. My husband and I had taken a Uniconnect sim for Malaysia and it was a terrible. The number was dysfunctional all the time. There were signals but we could barely connect to any number, but everytime we would call they would charge money for the call even when it never got connected. And when we called the customer care and complained of this, they said its happening because the call is getting but there could be some problem with our handset as we couldn’t hear the oother person. That was it. Heights of tricking people and really really terrible service.

I had bought a uniconnect sim card for Europe since I was traveling to Italy, Amsterdam and Paris. I was told that this European sim card would work fine everywhere with no issues since it was designed specially for such travelers. I had such bad time with that little piece of plastic. The number they gave me turned out to be a UK only specific number, and I realized cz everytime I would call from Rome, I would be charged heavily and I landed up recharging that number 3 times in 2 days. Finally when I called the support centre, they told me that I was given a UK only number cos I had apparently filled UK in the form. This was heights of irresponsibility. Not only did they mix the numbers, but blamed it on the client itself of filling the wrong details. I had no option but to immediately stop using that UK number and I bought myself a local number everywhere that I went. The most unreliable company I have ever dealt with.

I had got my daughter a uniconnect sim card foor france and we were recharging it for her from India. The initial few days everything was working fine. But after 3 days, we couldn’t get through her number at all. So when we called their customer center asking for a probable reasons, they said we must’ve not recharged her number so they must have disconnected her services. As a matter of fact they had disconnected her services, even while she had enough balance. We even escalated this matter to the sales guy who sold us the number but still no one helped us in getting the number functional. Ultimately she had to buy a local number from there itself and discarded that Uniconnect sim.

If your intention is to stay connected on ur vacation, Unicoonnect isn’t the right service for you. We had a terrible experience with them while we were in Malaysia. It was a scapped sim card that was given to us with really expensive data deals and poor data services. We stopped using their frustrating services within 2 days into our trip and decided to use the payphones when we wanetd to call back home. Wont recommend this sim card service to anyone.

Trust to definitely stay “disconnected” with using unicoonnect international sim cards than otherwise. We had a really bad experience with their services in England. Firstly it was really expensive even to call locally, leave alone calling back to India. And for all these call the voice quality was so poor and the call would disconnect after every few seconds and we were being charged for a minute everytime. I doubt that Uniconnect sims can ever deliver quality service cz foor all those 10 days we were practically disconnected.

I had bought one for dubai as I wanted to keep the spendings limited and controlled. But with uniconnect’s calling rates, I was practically recharging my number every alternate day. And I didn’t have the data activated yet. I felt it was better to get a local Etisalat number after landing in Dubai than using one from Uniconnect. Atleast their service centres were responsive and ready to help and not give lame reasons like time difference and hence services will be delayed.

Bad experience with uniconnect sim in Thailand... Being a pre paid service it's is so painful to recharge their number.. And equally painful to follow their process of calling anywhere. Convenience is no where close to With Uniconnect sims

I am still in UK as of now but I have stopped using the local sim card that I bought from Uniconnect. After the third day o[censored]sing that sim, it stopped working saying registration failed. I had to call their customer support centre in India to help resolve this. While in the process of dealing with them, trying to explain the inconvenience that I was facing using their services, the woman on the call outright said that the sim must have crossed its validity days and so now I will have to share my credit card details with them so that she can recharge it and it work. When I told her that Raunak, the guy who sold me the sim card said it’s a fresh sim and still valid to 120 days she said he must have misinformed me as the sim had already expired and then before any warning she disconnected. I had no other option but to stop using their poor services and tell everyone about the same. Uniconnect is the most inconvenient service that I have ever used so far

Who ever says Uniconnect Sims are cheap and affordable seems to have used them for maybe locally for no way that they are cheap in international travels. I landed up spending more than 5k for a country like Sri Lanka where I didn’t stay more than 3 days. And being a prepaid service when I asked for details for these charges, they refused outright. Pathetic service

I had such bad time using Uniconnect Sim Card while I was in Singapore. The phone was just not registering any signals. And every time that I would either receive a call or make a call, it would drop after every few seconds. It was more painful than being convenient. Hi, almost 2 months back I bought a sim card from Uniconnect for Dubai on the basis that the sales guy said that the sim had validity for 120 days. So initially I used it for 5 days and then didn’t use it. Although during those 5 days, their service was just ok, and nothing great but still I managed to sail through. Well currently I am in Dubai and trying to get in touch with the sales man who sold that sim on his mobile and also on the toll free number because my so called valid sim card doesn’t sim to register on any network. I have tried everything to register the same but nothing seems to work. I am stranded because o[censored]niconnect and paying through my nose as I am using my indian number here in Dubai. Terrible services and a very bad experience seriously.

I was using Uniconnect’s international sim for US. And that was my only mistake. I was having trouibles with their services as everytime I would connect to the wi-fi and then log out, I would perpetually lose network. Inititally I thought it was my handset problem, but when I tried it on my sisters phone also it was the same. So I finally decided to call on their customer cre no @ [protected] and tried and tried and forever tried to connect but nothing happened. Infact I even dropped a message to the guy who got me the sim but even he didn’t care to respond. Seriously using their service is like punishing urself for trying to stay connected.

Not only is it a total waste of money, but also all the time and effort that goes into coping with explaining the network issue with their customer support centre over the phone. Since they didn’t have a country specific sim card for Belgium, Ankit the sales guys asked me to used their Global sim saying its actually a better option. Well in my opinion it’s a pathetic option. I have used local country specific sim cards also and the nwteork coverage on their Global sim card is simply terrible. Paying 800 rs for a sim that doesn’t serve its purpose is total waste of money. I ultimately bought a local sim card from their and it was much better in every sense than that stupid mobistar network sim card.

Intention of staying connected with Uniconnect local sim cards is just not possible. Their services are not only unnecessarily expensive but also poor. Poor reception of signals all the time. Its actually embarrassing to use their services

We were traveling to Malaysia with a local sim card from uniconnect. We had read some really good reviews online but when we actually used their services they were quite pathetic. The network quality is terrible. At some places with full signals also the phone would hardly connect. And most of the times the 3g data worked like 2g. It was a painful experience with them

Using Uniconnect Sim Cards for England was a terrible experience. They are a really expensive deal. Such expensive call rates locally and internationally, that its not even funny. I think I spent more opting for a local Uniconnect sim than I would have otherwise. Definitely not recommending.
