Hello,

I am L.N.S. Karthikeyan and my email id is [protected]@gmail.com. I bought 2 Samsung S Duos Mobiles in the name of C.SATHISH, on 01/01/2013 at Univercell Showroom, Adyar, Chennai-600020. That time univercell advertised 5% CASH BACK offer for SBI Cards. So i used my SBI Debit card for two mobile purchases and swiped Rs.24000/- from my SBI Card and Balance amount 6100 given as Cash for the purchase.

They told usually it will take 50 days for Cash Back amount credit. But till now that Cash Back amount NOT CREDITED in my Account. Its more than 100 days passed since i bought mobiles.

I complaint this many times with Univercell and Emailed them with all proofs and Till date Bank statement but they are not taking care of this.

Univercell making all fools by advertising like this and doing fraud to customers.

Here i attached my purchase bill copy for your reference and kindly register my complaint against Univercell.

    Myself Namit! I have purchased micromax mobile from www.univercell.in on 27/03/13 considering delivery time mentioned i.e. 15 days & cost, order no: UNCO39044(made online payment on same day). Then I found I am not able to login to my account to check my order status hence I immediately make complaint on [protected]@univercell.in but till date problem is not solved further 15 days delivery time is over & I have sent 9 emails to [protected]@univercell.in but I didn’t get any reply from univercell.in regarding delivery of my product . I feel cheated & harassed as no one is replying from www.univercell.in

          I purchased Sony xperia j mobile on 19/2/13 at univercell mobile shop thiruvanmiyur ,Chennai 41 on 23/2/13 my had problem with my mobile the problem is when ever I connect my mobile to the charger mobile gets switched off automatically I took it to the show room they said u have to take it to the service center. I took it to the service center they checked and said it's a manufacturer defect and they said we I'll send it to Sony company and arrange for new one at the time of handing over the mobile I noticed the hologram seal is already opened and they have sticked new one on it because usually one hologram seal I'll there on the box , I asked the mobile shop guy he said we r not responsible for this now I am helpless and I don't know wat to do pls take nessecery action

            This is Prabhakaran, I have bought new mobile ( Mobile model no Nokia 101, bill no:0617282 IMEI Number : [protected] ) besant nagar showroom ( 2nd Avenue ) on 16.02.2013. When I visit showroom they said mobile price Rs -1850/- and charged me same amount, then only I came to know that mobile price only Rs -1400/- and MPR also Rs-1709/- only. Than I am directly visited showroom and asked them what are the charges included, but still I am not get valid details. Infect there is no one know the charges details. They given me Univercell Tax invoice copy ( Hand writing copy) that invoice no value added tax and no terms and conditions. They cheated me.

            UNIVERCELL — Late delivery and extra charges

            I am really very disappointed and felt like cheated with one of my online order of samsung mobile phone. I placed an order 0041939 on 13th December, for which I paid 2350/- Rs including shipping charges. My disappointments are:

            1) After promising of delivery within 10 days, product delivered on 14th day after the date of order. Really very disgusting.

            2) Univercell already charged me Rs. 100 for shipment, after this even informing so many times to their customer care that courier/delivery guys is asking Rs.120 extra as a courier charge. No one from their call center was ready to talk to courier guys and was not intended to take responsibility. I had to pay him Rs. 120 extra. This is also very disappointing and I will definitely pass this message to all my friends and networks that how Universal works. Yes, off course, I really do not expect any refund of Rs.120 or my trust

              - Offer for Mobile - cancelled
              On[protected] @ 19:37:26.0 we have placed an online order for purchase of mobile "SAMSUNG 118-S 7562 GALAXY S DUOS" whose MRP was INR 15,200/- but was available for INR 10,399/- vide Order No. UNCO36472 dt 08.02.2013. But the company's representative called us on 09.02.2013 and informed us that it was a promotional offer (for trial purpose) hence the company would not be in a position to provide for the discounted price. Also, they have blocked my user id through which we have placed the order. Later on the company's representative by name "SALMA BEGUM" - Phone Number : [protected] cancelled my order and dropped us an email on 11.02.2013 stating that your order has been cancelled and the proceeds shall be credited into the bank account with in seven days. Further, we would like to inform that even though we have called them several times there were not answering my phone and the proper response was not given. Even they were not polite to us and very harsh in the way they spoke with us. The mobile was booked a a gift for my friend as a birthday gift but i was quite disturbed by the way the univercell is providing response to me. I was totally disturbed with this transaction with Univercell which made be mental torture. Kindly let us know whether any other information/document is required for you to action against them.                   hi i am K Srikanth i have taken a samsung galaxy s duos which they sold to it to me for Rs.17,300 and on the bill the amount was written only 16800, its been only 25days what i took the phone.

                  UNIVERCELL — cheating for insurances

                  Hello,
                  As i purchased a mobile from univercel ,while purchasing mobile they said that if the mobile is lost they will give money back now they have rejected my application so please guide me how to book a consumer case on them ,[protected]
                  Yesterday (08/Feb/2014) I have searched in Internet for mobiles in the range of[protected] and found Nokia Asha 500 in Univercell.in which was costing Rs.4469/- net in their website.
                  Have been to Vijaya forum mall and the univercell showroom which is there but their the price was INR 4650/-. Asked why their price differs from what is their in the website but the customer service agent said the mobiles offered in Univercell online portal is of poor quality and what they are selling in their stores is of the best quality.

                  They inflate the price and the customer service is also not good.. Univercell is only for those who are earning in dollars and pounds and not for a middle class buyer.

                  Avoid Univercell and buy through flipkart/Amazon or someother stores in chennai who offers at a very nominal price than this cheating company.
                  hi,

                  i had bought a samsung handset from Univercell.The sales person Ravi has given the receipt with insurance charging 500 rs extra for the same.Unfortunately the hadset got damaged and went to them for the clim.they outrightly refused and also were rude enough to tell us to do whatever we can or too go legal.And that is precisely thereason I wanted to go further as they have charged for insurance and now they refute it.

                    I had bought a Sony brand mobile in Univercell mobile branch locates in officer's line, vellore, tamilnadu. I bought the mobile on 9th of August, 2012.They offered me a PAYBACK card to redeem points, and they certified that the PAYBACK card will be activated within 15days from the date of purchase and the activation number will be sent to my mobile number and also to my e-mail id. But the thing is not so. After two months ago i asked to a employee in Univercell that still i doesn't received any sms or mail for the activation of PAYBACK card. He replied to me that the activation for PAYBACK card can be done by customer also. Then what for this Univercell should be there, they are treating there customers as like a road side people. so i kindly request u to look on this complaint.

                      I have purchased Nokia Lumia 510 from the Univercell Mobile shop (in madipakkam) during the diwali season.The shop keeper told me that I am eligible for the 5% cash back offer (It came in the newspaper too).They refuse to take cash & swipped my card.Later,The cash back money was not paid back to my account.When I approached them.The shop keeper said the manager is on leave & he called up some one & updated me that it will take 30 days .Even after 30 days nothing has worked.I have written several mails to them & no proper updates.Let,me know the steps to approach the route of consumer protection act.

                        I m the one who suffered from your false commitment.

                        I was purchased one new sony mobile from your "GOPALAN MALL Outlet , Rajarajeshwari Nagar,Bangalore" on 21/10/2012 .
                        Your Showroom manager (Mr.Naren - [protected]) told that i will get one GIFT (Headset) for my purchase and he also said that right now we dont gave stock so you will come and collect on Wednesday (24/10/2012) , I came on 24th October but he said still the gift is not received so pls come on next week,..the story is still continues.....still he is saying the SAME COMMENT...

                        If you are not able to give PLEASE SAY NO...instead of that don't give FALSE COMMITMENT TO customer...i heard that there are another 40 innocent peoples are waiting for GIFTS like me...

                        STILL I m not expecting mine...but i just want to put to your people... HOW WORST YOU TREAT CUSTOMER?

                            Hi Managing Director,

                            This is regarding to the very bad response from the Univercell manager - Sukumar. Univercell supposed to pay me back the additional amount that debited from my Credit Card - Processing Fee charged of 2473.50Rs on 17/07/2012. I went to the Indranagar shop 3 times and all the 3 times i got the response as to call Sukumar.

                            SUKUMAR TOOK THE ONLY FIRST CALL AND AFTER THAT HE NEVER BOTHERED TO ANSWER ANY OF MY CALLS. ALSO HE DISCONNECT MY CALL AS WELL.

                            Again i went to the shop and insisted to see him and i stayed back in Univercell showroom to see Sukumar. But the agents from Univercell informed me that you can contact him over the phone but again i insisted to see him. Finally they agreed since the agents left out with no option. I was surprised when i saw him because i saw him outside the showroom talking to his friend when i initially got in the showroom. I was so disappointed because i was waiting in the showroom up to one hour and also his responsibility towards his work.

                            Initially he said he is waiting for the CHECK SLIP from Univercell head office and i waited for 2 weeks and then he finally said you can come to office and collect the amount as CASH. When i called him on one saturday he said you can collect the amount only on Tuesday, i explained him that it is very difficult to come on Tuesday because my work was under transition and i have daily meeting to attend. But he was admen and confirmed that money can be delivered only on Tuesday. He didnt bothered to do any extra step as a courtesy because i start from my home around 8AM and reach home by around 11PM.

                            Finally i called him when i completed my transition and he said he already send the CHECK Slip back to Univercell, which it was told to me. He asked me to come on Tuesday because he said it is cash payment. Now he is saying it was CHECK payment and already send back to Univercell Head office.

                            Whenever i go to Univercell office, they will ask me to contact Sukumar over the phone. But he never answer my call.

                            I am waiting for last 4months to get my money back.

                            Yesterday i tried to call him alot of times, which he never picked and also disconnected my call. Last week he messaged me stating that he will call me back. Please find the screenshot of the calls that i made yesterday and the message he sent to me.

                              I recently (06 Nov 2012) purchased 2 mobile phones (HTC Desire X and Samsumg chat), both accounting for RS 25000/-, from Univercell, Arekere, bannerghatta road, Bangalore outlet. At the time purchase the sales man promised me complimentary mobile case and screen protector. However, they did not have stock of HTC Screen protector. They ask me to visit the store on next day. But when I visited they told me the excuse that they exhausted the new stock. After that based on their direction I visited the store at least 4 times now for the same. Till now I have not received the screen protector. They did not even have a courtesy to call me and talk. With the fuel spent by me to visit their store I could have bought at least 5 such screen protector. I request UNIVERCELL to take immediate necessary action against this outlet. If I did not receive a proper communication from UNIVER CELL management by 14 Nov 2012, I am planning to register a case against UNIVERCELL in the consumer court.                               I purchased nokia Lumia 800 on nov 7 2012.
                              i was promised a monster headset within 2 days as stock was not available.
                              when i goes after 2 days, i was told that it will take another 2-3 days.since then i have visited the shop more then 5-6 times and still did not get the accessories.
                              every time shop people are promising after 1-2 days.
                              this is highly unprofessional way of service providing and i am very disappointed.

                              i would like to return the cell which i purchased.
                              please let me know your legal cell details as i want to approach to Consumer forum with this complaint.

                                I bought a new mobile from the following address:
                                Univercell showroom,No 28 S V V Mall, Thillai Nagar Main Road Next To Bata Showroom, 9th Cross Street, thillai nagar, Trichy - 620018

                                I bought on 18th of october but with in 3 days I got display problem . I went and handed over my mobile . They did not give any responsible answer but they taken for service. Like this many mobiles which bought in the above showroom got various complaints. And I came to know that they sell the mobiles(parts ) which are already used.
                                I hope the responsible person would see to it . Otherwise , the univercell company itself wouldn't be there in future.

                                  I am Raguram Vasanth ( resident in pollachi ) bought a new phone on August 15th in Univercell shop at R.s puram – kovai , where I am been told by the staff that I am having free offer [ headset ] for every purchase. I paid my amount without any due on the same day . when asked for the free offer , they told me that they don’t have any more stock now. They said that they will give it to me by next week ie., on Aug 22nd , when asked again , they again said the same answer . after a month when I asked they told me exactly the same answer . when I recently asked they told me that they don’t have anymore free offers . I could able to get only when the next free offers are announced . I clearly don’t understand why these people announce free offers in the printed paper and why do they want to say like this . they should have told me clearly on the same day. This answer annoying me and I want the concerned authority to look over this unprompt response and take necessary steps if possible .

                                    I was told by the sales girl named Haritha that if I insert an airtel sim then I will be getting 2GB data free at speed of 3G per month for 4 months. So, I purchased Nokia Lumia 610 on 4th of this month. Aitel has not provided the free service so I contacted Univercell and they say that the service no longer exists.
                                    Its clearly written on the box that free service is applicable.

                                        Hi i have purchased Karbonn tablet on 5th oct from ameerpet,univercell stores which is in hyderabad and the cost of tablet is 6990 in the other stores but the store has charged me 8070 instead of 69900 thats really bad i would suggest my friends or family members not to purchase any cell phone in this store as they have over charged . i need my money back
