I recently bought 2 Nokia E63 mobiles for my office
I visited the Velachery Branch o[censored]nivercell

We were clearly asking them of the offers underway and what is the best deal that can be provided

They told me that the list price in Univercell is 9240 and that there were no other offers

After much persuation and talking they agreed to give a Reabock Watch and a Travel Bag
(They are still saying there is no stock and not given the gifts completely)

I bought both the mobiles and they promised of some superior service

My complaints are

1. Their online offer said the price to be 8270 - which is close to a whooping 1000 bucks difference
Take 4% on VAT even then it will not match up

2. They offer a sunglass worth 5K

so aggravated I went back and asked them for my gifts (the originally promised watch and bag

They said the gifts were not in stock (I drive all the way to this place to collect it and this is what they say)

They did not and will not give me any escalation numbers

There was NO manager in the store that I could take this up with

In the internet their corporate office number is a FAX number

If anyone is buying a mobile please DO NOT BUY THEM from Univercell

    Extreme dissatisfaction with the phone purchased via retailer Univercell.

    Given for service over 4 times in the last one year. Asked for a replacement since it was in warranty, but refused by Univercell and Nokia. Was asked to speak to multiple people (including Nokia customer support(Mr Gopalakrishnan[protected] and Univercell ([protected])

    The last service was on 24-Mar 2010, Job sheet #[protected] with a S/W upgrade to solve the blank screen problem (S/W upgrade already done twice). Every service it is claimed that we will never experience the problem. But it occurs.

    We went with Nokia for the quality and reliability and customer support and have been let down by this company and the retailer.
    I am having same kind of problem

    I bought my mobile in April 2009. My mobile goes Blank screen suddenly while using and it never switches on even after removing the battery and putting it on. I am not having any other option that to submit it to Nokia care. I am not even able to take back up of the contacts, messages etc.

    This problem started in around end of february 2010 and within 9th May 2010 (date when one year warranty expires) I had got this problem three times. I had asked for replacement through mail to Nokia but their reply was "We are currently not able to comment on your request for replacement" . Its the stupidest response I ever got.

    Keeping in view the continous problems, I even extended the warranty period by one more year by purchasing NOKIA CARE PROTECT warranty extension. I got this problem recenly on 20th May 2010 and I had submitted for service again now. And also mailed the Nokia Head office again with the replacement request. But the response was SAME. Probably this will be the last time I am going to Nokia Service Centre after which if problem persists, thinking of going to consumer forum

      Sir,
      I purchased Samsung (Samsung super hero, Model:SCH - B259) mobile from Univercell shop located at Mehdipatnam, Hyderabad. The price of the phone was 1634.61Rs. I took insurance for the phone and the total bill that was paid by us was 1845.00Rs. At the time of purchase they told that your mobile will be recovered if it is thefted. Also, they said that if you take insurance then in such case you can get new mobile. To recover, you need to just show the bill and tell the sim number of the lost mobile, along with Police complaint letter.Yesterday, my mobile was thefted. Hence, i went to Univercell shop today. They said that the mobile can't be recovered. I asked for insurance claim and they said only 40 percent of the money will be returned. However, such condition was not written in the bill given to us. The invoice number of the bill is:P. H. MD/1117 dated 13/05/2009. Hence, I thought of complaining to consumer forum in this regard so as to get my claim.

      Pls dont go to univercell. Very poor attitude shown towards customers. They wont let us make an informed decision for our purchase. Sub-standard and uneducated staffs.To top it all they are unruly cheap rogues

      Always go to exclusive dealerships even if they charge more. They are more reliable than these .
      I lost Samsung Galaxy Y Duos mobile on 17th July, 2012.
      I purchased that mobile on 23rd July, 2012.
      Just in 1 month someone theft my mobile in bus.
      I bought this mobile in UniverCell and have insurance.
      Can anyone guide that how to claim insurance and how much i will get.
      My mobile cost was Rs 9000/-

        Univercell is a cheater of insurance..they will give a fake insurance company.. they will not receive the calls when you call from the same no. everytime..

        i have claimed insurance for mobile with all efforts and got credit voucher worth 5600.soon receiving voucher i called company and asked for validity.they said whenever u can.so after five months i went to show room.then they said it is not valid.then i called to univercell customer care andtheir response disappointed me.please suggest me solution

          Hi,

          I gave my Blackberry pearl 8220 for service to univercell Velachery on 31-Mar-10 and my service request number is 19415. They have returned the phone on 12-Apr-10 but with no battery. When I asked them, they said they have lost the battery mistakenly. It took 2 weeks for them to fix my phone and they are taking more than a get me a battery. I am connected to my office during non working hours through this phone. This is affecting my work a lot.The customer complaints dept is also not very responsive and they keep on promising that they will give a new battery but till now has not given. Request you to intervene and get new a new battery.

            “MOBILE COMPLAINT WITH AIRTEL SERVICE OPERATOR AND UNIVER CELL VENDOR”

            Customer Introduction :

            Myself Rajesh Pershad purchased Nokia handset 2700 Classic from Univer Cell, Shah-ali-banda Outlet, Old City on 24th December, 2009 vide UAP No. 255000. I also taken Airtel Connection with Mobile No. [protected] and other accessories UAP No. 254999 (Memory Card, Airtel Recharge Card and Pouch etc.). All submitted all the relevant documents required for the connection i.e. One PP Photograph, Residential ID Proof. Etc. My mobile was activated on 24th of December, 2009 itself.

            Problem / Complaint:

            On 13th of April 2010 at around 7:55 P.M my outgoing was stopped by showing message “CALL REJECTED, NOTE ACTIVE CALL BARRINGS” At around 8:00 P.M. I called on Customer Care on 121 No. and I spoked to Mr. Shailesh, Supervisor, Customer Care brought it to my notice that the allotted No. is not in your name because of ID proof the outgoing call were barred. I was shocked and informed to Mr. Shailesh that I got the Original Bill and I got the Original Simcard Connection Packed. Mr. Shailesh has taken ½ hr time to get back to me with higher authorities. I received a call at 9:39 P.M. from Ms. Shaida, Supervisor, Customer Care through Mobile No.[protected]. I explained the problem what I’m facing. She repeated the same thing what Mr. Shailesh has told to me. She informed me that You submit the documents i.e. ID Proof. Nearest to the Airtel Office and we will activate as early as possible.

            I went to Airtel Office near City College Branch, Old City, Hyderabad and spoked to the one of the employee of the airtel, He said today It is not possible to send your documents to the head office, because our messenger already left for the day to the head office, It is possible to activate your phone only after 48 hrs. Again I spoked to Customer Care People on 121 at 2:00 P.M. Mr. Pushparaj and explained the problem, He could not able to solve my problem, than I asked to connect to higher authorities he immediately connected me to Mr. Shekhar, Team Leader and told to me that this mobile No. [protected] not belongs to you, it is belongs to some body by name c. raju, Than I told and have shown all the original bill, airtel connection sim card pouch to airtel office of city college branch, and also employee of city college spoked to Mr. Shekhar and He told there are to possibilities either the univer cell people send the wrong id proof about you or data entry operator from airtel committed the mistake. He asked me to come to Begumpet Office. I denied because there is no fault from my side, I have wasted my whole day roaming on the roads to find the nearest airtel office. Mr. Shekhar, Team Leader after request he has given me Ref. No. [protected].

            I also visited to univer cell outlet i.e. shah-ali-band and I questioned to them and shown the all the original bill, phone box, airtel sim card etc. They told us to resubmit the documents and we will give assurance it will be rectified with in 48 hrs. Mr. Santosh, Branch Manager o[censored]niver Cell asking me to change my Mobile No.. WHY I NEED TO CHANGE MY NUMBER?

            IS THE PROBLEM WITH ME, WHY THE AIRTEL PEOPLE ARE VERIFYING THE
            DOCUMENTS AFTER 3 1/2 MONTHS OF ACTIVATION , WHY THE NAME IS ON SOME BODY ELSE, WHEN I AM THE OWNER OF THIS MOBILE.

            I AM FILING THIS CASE WITH THE CONSUMER COURT WITH JAGO GRAHAK JAGO.

            Mobile prepaid connection — Allotment of my no. to anyone other

            I am having a JODI PACK of Airtel for last a few years. This pack was working alright till 13/06/09 but in noon about 3:30 PM one of my no. (Which was used by me in my business work) lost network and started showing SIM REGISTRATION FAILED. I thought it to be any simple problem but when In evening I tried to call on the above no. any person picked the call. It was strange that my sim card was lying dead in my cellphone but anyone was using my no. I told the customer care but they had no solution for this problem.

            After a fer minutes I got a call from my no. and that other person told me that his no. was similar to me and lost . Now in the duplicate SIM CARD my no. has been wrongly allotted to him by an Airtel dealer.

            Since my SIM has dead I have lost about Rs. 500 from my balance and also facing a lot difficulties because now I am unable to get the calls from my clients but there has been no response from Airtel.

            Airtel prepaid mobile — proof of connection

            I got a prepaid sim [protected] longback (lifte time) by submitting all the documents. But daily I have been disturbed to produce the same. With the advancement of technology when a call is trace couldn't they trrace my records and update their system. Plz provide some relief. Thanks.

              I bought a Nokia mobile in "Univercell, Ameerpet, Hyderabad" and made the payment through the debit card. I had a terse conversation about the color of the handset and requested to take the mobile and repay the money. Harjinder Singh, the manager of the store swiped the card again and mentioned me that the VOID payment has been done and the money would be transferred back to the same debit card account in one week. As the money was not refunded after a week, I called Harjinder to get the status of the refund. I was asked to wait for 45 days for the refund from HDFC (Univercell account holder, as mentioned by Harjinder) to my debit account. Its been more than two months now and i have not received the refund.

              FYI: the following are the details of the transaction

              proofs can be submitted on request.

              I expect the positive response at the earliest or otherwise I may have to take up the matter seriously.

              univercell / nokia — misuse of ATM card

              on 22 October 2010, some one by fake name Darshan with wrong mobile had bought a mobile from UNIVERCELL,Koramangala, Bangalore using my ATM card at around 9 PM. The person who has sold did not ask for any detail of the person and swaped my ATM card. When I personally visited yesterday (26.10.2010)around 1 PM , and enquired about the sale of mobile. He said the above mentioned person came and bought. Without any verification he had made the deal. I am really surprised to see such a reputed company is selling mobile like a vegetable vendor.Is it the motive of the company ? This matter came to my mind two days ( loosing of the ATM card) ago and I blocked in the normal way. The HDFC bank staement has clearly given & I had shown the same to the person sitting at UNIVERCELL,Koramangala, Bangalore. I simply told him that the sale deed is unfair and should take necessary step to recover my money and the company's name.
              Hope necessary action should be taken as early as possible.

                (In behalf of my elder brother im doing this, who is not wise in sharing bitter experience)

                I brought a mobile from kumbakonam univercell store.
                They gave free sim card and i also brought one in person by paying for it. n for the proof i gave photo, photo id and address proof .
                It worked for few days one day it stopped, when i called up the service providers they said as if it was disconnected due to in sufficient proof N sim is not registered.
                I stepped in univercell store and described about this by hearing all this they asked me for that sim card pack and they commit to shot the problem through words.
                still now their words remain same but time dosen't hardly two months passed.
                All are worst staff telling one thing and doing one thing .
                Don't believe univercell shops . Be careful .

                Complaint about Univercell Mobile Store, Karur

                Three months back i saw an advertisement in newspaper, "Univercell new year Sale" they have listed 6 LG mobile models with upto 50% discount. On seeing this advertisement i taught to buy a new mobile. I went to that shop they showed only one model out of that six. I asked what about other 5 model, they are simply replying "NO STOCK".. I saw that advertisement at 8am and went to that shop at 10am... From the morning they are telling "No Stock No Stock go to some other near by branch..."

                So dont believe this UNIVERCELL SHOP & its DISCOUNT...

                JUST FOR NAME SHAKE THEY ARE ADVERTISEMENT

                PLEASE TAKE STEPS AGAINST THIS...

                  I took a mobile from Gulbarga univercell store.They gave free sim card n took photo id and address proof.N sim is not registered.They used that photo for some one else and when asked miss behaved . All are worst staff telling one thing and doing one thing . And they told 600rs extra money also for mobile . Don't belive univercell shops . Be carefull . If possible avoid there fraud things .
                  Hello Sir, i bought a Moblie on May 21st 2010 in Nagapattinam Univercell Branch. My mobile model is Nokia 5233 but i didnt check it. after 15 days i would like to hear a song via Headset at that time Headset not working. i go to Univercell branch in next day. but that staff told me "This is not N 5233 Headset" i told him i bought mobile you give me this headset. but he does not take response. am totally upset. after hear the song via Headset then he jump the words. He cheating me already he change the Headset in mobile box.

                  Totally its Branch is Cheating. I hate Univercell. He is careless. He didnt give me Proper result
                  Totally waste hereafter i will never buy cell in univercell. Good bye Univercell.

                  nokia 5233 — late delivery

                  Dear Sir,

                  I want tell you that i had give my mobile nokia 5233 in nokia customer care, tonk road, jaipur for repair on 29/10/2011. It told me your handset would repair in 7 to 10 days. but still my hanset has not handover to me by him.

                  plz somthing do against this complaint.

                    Attached the mail conversation with MD o[censored]nivercell to know about the service provided by Univercell.Simply they are celling mobiles with 10 to 20% extra prices when compared wuth other shopes. For a case Mangal and Mangal Electronics- Trichy celling mobiles with reasonable prices and the comparision did with that shop

                    I purchased a samsung galaxy 3 on 08/11/2010 for 12, 560.00, however the same mobile price on the univercell online was 11, 406.00, almost 1000 rs difference, this created a bad impression on univercell
                    Until then, if we had to purchase mobile, univercel was the first we used to think about . We never taught they will do this .
                    I completely dissatisfied with this .

                    I purchased a samsung galaxy 3 on 08/11/2010 for 12, 560.00, however the same mobile price on the univercell online was 11, 406.00, almost 1000 rs difference, this created a bad impression on univercell .
                    The same Mobile with other vendor was close to 11, 500.00, But trusting univercell, led me to a big disappointment .
                    This experience give me a clear warring not look back to univercell again in future .

                      www.univercell.in is really very bad in sales,

                      I purchased my handset 29-Dec-2009. before Buy to this set i told to Sales person manager about problem then he says" if any problem found within 48 hours we will replace, and finally i got problem same evening then next day i visit in Outlet so he never accept what he Promise "Within 48 hours replace" with us.
                      He is not accepting.

                      They said" go to service center.. Now u tell me.. For what i should go for service center, that is newly handset, and my handset not completed one month.. so "www.univercell.in" took my hand set 2 times for solve to my Mobile problem, but they not successful, Now they are making new -new stories and trying to Ignore my problem.

                      I called to Chennai Head office branch and they promise to me 100% will solve my problem.

                      Now I gave them 3 options:
                      1. Return my money if not solved
                      2. Replace new Hand Set
                      3. I will pay more and give to me another model.

                      But they are not ready to solve problem

                        Hello,

                        Last week (December 28 2009) I bought a new Sony Ericsson Naite from UniverCell - Coimbatore 100 feet road I started using my mobile phone from the next (they asked me to charge the mobile for 8 hrs) from then i realised that the signal was not proper in my handset(thouht due to bad weather) but the next day one of friend told me that the signal reception in the Handset is not proper and they call this as Network Jumping it seems then i walked into the Showroom for the replacement of the handset beacuse that i used the mobile only for two day and its a manufacturing defect but the sales person said that they cant replace and they said they give only service warranty itseems. Even they realsied that the problem is with manfacturing defect but they are not ready to provide me the solution.

                        But if would have got this from authorised Sony Ericsson center they would have replaced it......

                        They have also charge me 200 Rupees extra for Insurance but this is also worthless
                        6800+200 = 7000.

                        if anyone could help me on this please i would be happy to get assited from you.

                          Hi,
                          I bought a sony ericson F305 in Aug 2009 from UniverCell in Velachery, Chennai. The handset is hanging quite frequently if I access simple applications such as FM radio, calculator, etc. I went to Univercell to complain about this. They sent the handset to the service center for servicing. After two weeks I got the handset back, the service center guys mentioned that there is a software issue, and they have reinstalled the software. In the next two days itself, the phone started hanging again. I went to univercell again to complain. They have sent the handset to the service center. This time the service center guys have reformatted the memory card of the phone and sent the handset back to univercell. Yesterday I got the handset from univercell, it went to hanging mode within 2 hours. I have restarted the phone, removed the memorycard. It was ok for 16 hours. This morning the phone was hanging when I was playing a game. I went to univercell and asked them to refund my money. They said they can't refund the money for sold products. The sold products are covered under the warranty only. As per the warranty the authorized distributor or service partner would repair or replace the product. univercell guys told that they can only send to the service center. With no other options, I just leftmy handset with them for service.
                          This is the third time the phone is going for service.

                          Please let me know how to get my money back from Univercell. Should I file a case against Univercell on this? Please see the product and distributor details below:

                          i bought sony ericsson F305 mobile at UNIVERCELL mobile shop at ameerpet in hyderabad.they told that the mobile supports 4GB expandable memory.but the mobile not even supporting 2GB.
                          then i went to shop and i told about my problem.they advised me go for warrenty service.then, i went for warrenty service twice.once at kukatpally and 2nd time secunderabad which is main service center.
                          but, the same problem is reoccuring.the shop authorities are denying thier resposibility.
                          the date of purchase is 3rd of july 2009.first i observed the problem on 4th of july 2009.
                          i felt very frustreted and irritated.i went to the shop 7 times.they not even responded properly.and they behaved rudly.

                          Yesterday I went your showroom at A.S.Rao Nagar, Secunderabad for a mobile and I asked your sales person to show the 1662 Model, but he was put a model of 1661on the table where as I asked for 1662 model. When I asked second time he shown me
                          1662, at the same time again I asked the difference between the two. Just he told
                          only a key pad difference but not explained colour difference of back side of the
                          piece. After Opening I came to know the colour difference. I requested them to
                          change but they was refused to change the piece.

                          After few days of purchase I start facing problem like hanging, slow processing, audio problem etc. with this particular set. I had visited near about 4-5 times to the above stated Mobile Vision Store and I do not know what type of corrective maintenance was done with this handset (may be the formatting or it may be software updation). Every time software problem shown as root cause and after each visit this handset was found ready to use. But after using it for 1-2 months of this service again the same problem occurred.

                          On 06.05.2010 again the same problem like hanging, display, battery, audio etc. occurred and this time I visited to RT Outsourcing Services Limited- Faridabad, Shop No. 4, 1st Floor, Rama Place- 1, Faridabad. It was assumed to deleiver me on the same day i.e. on 06.05.2010 but one Defect is still not improved and it would be given back to me on manday i.e. on 10.05.2010. means near about four working day to improve this one.

                          I do not know why there is so problem with this handset. It may be due to some defect or the outsourced agencies is paying havoc with the big name by just providing the corrective maintenance in the place of preventive maintenance.

                          Earlier I was the user of NOKIA and I switched over to SONY ERICSSON and sometimes it seems to be a worst decision. Is it acceptable to Sony Ericsson, the big name in market that customers feels such level of dissatisfaction as the prime motto of any organization specially related to this industry is the customer satisfaction.

                          I have already lodged a complaint in the customer care and my complaint no. is 8729138. As I have faced such problem many times and these are likely to continue with this particular handset, so considering it a defective piece I requested you to kindly replace this particular set.

                            Till now there is no Response.When I am asking that people They says to me,"There is some problem in document filling, that's why it is rejected and we will forward it again"

                            hai nikitha first block the sim and get letter from service provider for blocking and reactivation (get original copy). 2nd complain to police and get that letter as original after one week police will give u non-traceable certificate get that original also. 3rd ur original bill which u got while purchasing mobile. so total u will get 4 documents withese u can claim the mobile

                              helo every one on[protected] i have given the hand set for universal mobils at jayanagar to repair mick and i have got the hand set back on[protected]. and after i recive the hand set i have seen that the imie no of the hand set is totely change and all the data i hade in my mobile is cleend up and when i called up to the service center on the no [protected] at jaynagar they are saying this is wings telecom and we do not know about that so hear the majar thing is i have droped the hand set in univercel mobils and they are giving the no of some other company and the other company is not at all carring about this this is veary veary bad on the part o[censored]niversal mobils that they are cheeting and missgiding the people in this way i hope the managment will take care about this at least now

                                An insurance claim was filed when my cellphone was stolen, but the insurance company sent it back and had a number to call if i had any questions. when i did call the person who answered the call was arrogant, abusive. Univercell promotes that insurance in its web site itself.
                                The salesperson talks to you like that is the best insurance you can buy but it is not it is a scam, i dont think anyone will be able to get back any money from that insurance.
                                DO NOT BUY THE INSURANCE FROM ALEGION sold by univercell for theft and damage of cellphones.

                                Yes what suganya says is right. 2 weeks back my cousin lost his mobile in auto.Its a normal auto where people go in share. We have registerd a police complaint and given for claim. But they rejected it. When we called and asked for the justification they say if we loose our mobile in crowded places, only then can accept it. IN normal auto only 3 or 4 members are there if we loose there then its a negligence. Its complete dump company. Never belive this INS companies. we should black list them. Kindly dont waste the money for this stupid isurance.
                                Guys its bad, even none of ther contact no works, not even any mail ID all mails bounce back, its a fake service only to attract money from customers...you can try sending mails to them, it will bounce back.

                                I totally agree with what you are saying as im facing the same issue now.
                                Univercell and the Oriental Insurance company Ltd/ Univercell/ Alegion Insurance Broking Ltd company are completely fraud and is total CRAP.

                                Case:
                                My brother's Lumia 720 mobile got damaged in an accident just one week from the date of purchase. Mobile screen got completely damaged and touch sensors are not woking partially. Back Cover of the mobile has got a mild dent.
                                Wen i claim insurance for this damage they frankly refuse saying that this will not be covered as this comes under partial damage. Only total damage will be covered in case of accident.
                                Moreover they ask for unreaslistic documents such as FIR from police for accident in bike due to skidding.
                                How will the police give a FIR for bike skid?
                                How can reject a claim for which the estimate is around Rs. 9500 which is more than half of the price of the mobile stating that it is partial damage?

                                BOth Univercell and the Insurance are washing away thier hands wen the customers are caught in these kind o[censored]nfortunate situations.
                                The response & service which im recieveing from Univercell & the Insurance is WORST...
                                These people are total FRAUD...

                                  I give Rs.2050.00 incl.insurance to sales manager but he give bill only for Rs.2000.00
                                  when i am asked hi, he write manually on computer bill i.e."Insurane Add" and marked in total
                                  amount Rs.2050.00.

                                  I think that is illegal. The insurance amount is the sales manager put in his pocket.

                                      Hi Guys,

                                      I purchased a Nokia Xpress Music 5310 from Univercell, Pattom branch, Trivandrum, Kerala in November 2008.

                                      At the time of purchase they promised me a gold coin as an offer which I haven’t received till now.

                                      Went over to the shop consequtively for about 5 months and was informed that it hasn’t arrived and will be arriving. Every time they took my mobile no. to inform me when it arrives.

                                      This disheartened me. The phone has been good so far that I never had to go to them for any service, so I can’t say anything.

                                      Don’t know whom to complain on this about. If any of you have any idea, please let me know.

                                      So whoever is going to Univercell, see that you have all the details of their promises described in your bill. This kind of problems have to be complained in consumer court.

                                      Oh so iam not the only one who has been infected with this offer virus. I was assured a valuable gift for any puchase from the fra...s but when the purchase was made the ply started. Guess what man they act well and see that the customer is plaesed with actions the take when a complaint is made. I have seen some very good short dramas by the executives...1.Immediate enquiry with branch head or whoever is available... 2.serious talk between the senior and rest... 3.Arriving at a big lie to be produced before the customer... 4. Too many sorries and pleadin... At the end of the daythe client feels that he has created some impact and leaves home happily. But at next day when the first rays of sun touches the Earth...Story is still the same... Man i have some what given up hope and dear readers please think twice before you step into UNIVERCELL.

                                        I have bought Nokia 7610 Supernova In UnverCell, where they are offering Insurance to Mobile with Extra Charge on the Total price of the Mobile. Thye said this is valid for 1 year.. and next year onwards we can renew it. They said that If I Lost its a simple proceudre to claim. After 8 months I lost My mobile during a Journey.

                                        Now After going to UniverCell Now they are asking for FIR Copy and after one month of that registered complaint they want a Non traceable report from Police that its not found and traceable. Then after with in 50 days they will disburse the amount.

                                        But After Going round and round in police stations.. they clearly said that they have stopped takeing FIR compalints on Mobile Lost cases. They also said the number of compalints are high in this Mobile Lost cases, they cant entertain because its a rule forthem to close the case after taking FIR. And they also said Bychance if we lodge FIR also we cant give Non traceable Report to you.

                                        Univercell Is very clever in his marketing as they very well knew about the procedure and they are simply gaining money from all the customers by making or showing this offer.
