Dear Sir,
i have buyed a Beetel GD310A (1 year Warranty) mobile on 26.11.2011 from UniverCell Salem First Agraharam Branch,
with in 3 months the mobile repaired, when i asked Univercell they asked to go to XPlus Communication its our service center, so i went there and gave mobile for service on 10.2.2012 today it has been nearly 85 days, they are not responding properly, when ever i go there they will ask me to come after 3 days, now they are telling it is sent to Beetel company
it may take one or two months to get the mobile back and for phone call Univercell mobile store peoples are not responding properly.
I am a middle class person, i don't have money to buy a new phone, kindly verify and do the need so as soon as possible.

    Regarding to the above subject i brought 2 new mobile from Univercell-Madurai kk nagar on 20/10/2011 & 19/09/2011 (Bills enclosed with this mail) Beetel handsets, both the mobiles having the charging complaint. i contact the sales person for the same, he told me to get the mobile to univercell for service. i given the mobile for service on 03/01/2012 (scan copy of the same is enclosed with this) till date i am not getting any proper response for the same from them. due to various phone calls made by me to the person in univercell he told to pay 250 for the charger. with in the warranty period the charger having the problem.not rectified or replaced by them. after we are ready to make the payment for the charger but till date they are telling the reason they dont have that new charger piece. nearly 60 days completed.

    as we are the customer having good value and relation ship with univercell, why we go for univercell for the service if the service is worst how the people will go for the univercell.. i dont have the words to explain my loss by buying a mobile with univercell. this is my final mail to you to take the immediate action. if it is not happend i am going to the consumer court with all the bills and supporting documents.

      I have checked the price of Motorola EX212 model in Univercell webite and its mentioned as 4600 RS inclusive of all taxes. Then I went to Univercell showroom to buy the product, but in Showroom they are pricing 5140 RS for the same product. When I asked the rerason why there a diff of 500 Rs from website price, they are telling in online the price is exlusive of 5 % vat. The website clearly mentioned the online price is inclusive of all taxes.

      So the Univercell showroom in Indira nagar, trying to cheat the customers by selling with high price. For all the Mobile handsets they are selling with price difference compare to univercell site online price.

      I attach the snapshot that clearly shows the online price inclusive of taxes for referance.

        Sir,

        I have purchased Samsung mobile handset (e2232 model) on 14th November 2011 on Univercell mobile showroom, Ekkattuthangal, Guindy, Chennai-32. (Near Virtusa IT park). I got an issue with charging in my mobile phone. Battery full message not getting after complete the full charging (I have charged around 8 hours). I tried to disconnect the connector with mobile and then again connected once. Still my mobile getting charging and not shows the battery full message display. I given the mobile for service with Univercell on 28th November 2011. They given back to me after 10 days (9th December 2011). They told software has updated and will not come the problem again. I checked with charging again. Still same problem has occurring with my mobile. Again I contact the Univercell where I have purchased the mobile. The Univercell guys not response properly. I am getting disappointment. Please help me and solve my problem as soon as possible.

          I misplaced my invoice and insurance copy as we were in the process of painting our house. For filing a police complaint as I lost my mobile on the 11th November 2011, I requested Univercell store manager of Ameerpet Branch, Hyderabad to issue a duplicate copy of invoice and insurance copy as I also needed to submit claim under insurance.

          However the store manager demanded 100 Rs to be paid for issuing a duplicate copy of the same. I wanted to know when Univercell store is not in the selling business of Bills why are they charging 100 Rs. Upon my further inquiry the store manager said that because its a VAT bill they are charging such an amount. Univercell store is trying to get benefit of the situation.

            Hi,

            I purchased Nokia c5-03 mobile at Univercell store after 7 days onwards it is not working and they told that it will take 25 days to rectify the issue and they are not ready to replace even though it has insurance covered , I am sick with their service.. I wanted to give a complaint at Consumer court, can any one tell me how to approach ASAP.

            Don't purchase mobiles at Univercell, Don't get stuck in your own way.

              I have purchased a samsumg mobile from Univercell (Chittoor Branch) and within a few days itself it stopped and now they are neither replacing it with a new one nor reparing the old one , they have just taken the mobile along with its cover and charger and just kept quiet

              I would also request you to consider the physical and mental agony caused due to it

              Hope no one suffers due to univercell in the same way

                I buyed a mobile sony ericsson from univercell mobile store(location jaynagar 3rd block bangalore) on 24/10/2011...
                we were searching for best mobile(most probably samsung or nokia) in the range of Rs 10000..they said that the sony ericsson is the best phone in that range...and they convinced us that the sony ericsson is the best one..after reached the home we saw the review in the net that sony ericsson is most third class mobile..very bad review are there in the net..and the next day we went to the shop(univercell mobile store(location jaynagar 3rd block bangalore)),and they said "it's not possible",and behave like that they are seeing us first time...that time some offer was going on in univercell mobile store(location jaynagar 3rd block bangalore),they gave a free speaker with the mobile set which was aslo very very bad..so my suggestion for all people,never go to the univercell mobile store...

                  The UniverCell advertiseing its deals, gifts, offers over the TV Add(see with actor mahesh) with Caption Telugu "CHALAA - INKAA KAVAALA". I purchased one Nokia "C2-06" At the time of billing , the Ameerpet branch staff told me that the OFFERS ARE CLOSED . The why the people o[censored]NIVERCELL still runing their adverstiment in the Television channels . And also with all inclusive the handset cost me more of Rs 250/- (apprx)

                    Bought the Samsung Champ DUOS at Express Avenue Chennai. Mr. Venkatesh attended on us. Immediately after payment and while the product was being packed, I went to the showroom just opposit to this showroom. There the same product was available at Rs. 164/- less. Felt short changed. Told Mr. Venkatesh if he could do something about this. Nothing doing. Took delivery with bitterness. Beware friends. Look around before you buy from 'Univercell"

                      I bought a mobile phone worth Rs 10000 from Univercell, staples brance, koramangla,bangalore. It was under offer,, after few days I got call from the one of the univercell person that its cost is Rs 12100 and you have to pay the remaining amount, I said I am getting this this phone in Rs 10900 net and I bought it in Rs 10000.
                      I bought from the person name sunil, I asked sunil if its price was not Rs 10000 then why you given me phone in Rs 10000, I said ok, I can pay you another Rs 800 as he said If I will not pat they will deduct his salary. For humanity I paid him another Rs 800.
                      Now I am getting BLACKMALING calls from the Univercell employees to pay them Rs 1100 more, otherwise they will Block my call phone and SIM. I am very worried due to these black-male calls, plz help me.

                        I lost my mobile Nokia 2700 C on sunday morning (26th june 2011), it got stolen. i bought the mobile on 3rd Feb 2010 from univercellshowroom, perambalur and i paid for Mobile theft insurance too. how my problem will be sorted out? will they take care of my problem? what are the procedures to claim the univercell for mobile theft insurance?
                        in univercell store they are taking money in the way of insurance... but its refund to the customers who theft the mobile ...
                        Hi All,

                        I gone all the review relating to mobile theift insurance. I have a positive review on this. I want to share my experience with you all.

                        I purchased a Samsung Galaxy Ace on 30 September, 2012 worth Rs 11700(approx) including insurance. Unfortunately i lost it in Bangalore on 16th October, 2012 while travelling in Bus by some unknown persons. I went to the nearest police station to launch the complaint & I got a CSR copy from them on the same day. I also went to the service provider to block my SIM and collected the duplicate one & also I asked them to give me a receipt for issuing me the duplicate SIM. In the evening I went to Univercell & collect the form. I filled the form a send it to insurance company located in Chennai through speed post. The manager o[censored]nivercell have already told that once your form will reach to Chennai they will keep it on hold for 15 days to trace the mobile.

                        So I wait for 15 days and after that I call to the insurance company and asked the status. They said me to call next week. But I again gave her call after 3 days but surprise she said it’s in process so call us at end of the month. But again I call her after 10 days & she told me that your settlement has been done & soon you will get a letter head/credit note through courier. So at last I got the letter from the courier on 27th Nov, 2012 worth Rs 10, 000. It was a lost but I think something is better than nothing.

                        So its my request that please mention the valid conditions of the insurance because settlement is done only id it is theift my unknown person/accident/disaster.

                          Hi,

                          I purchased Sony Ericsson Xperia™ Smartphone for 23500Rs at Univercell showroom in Madiwala Bangalore on 18/06/2011, with in

                          no time I have found that there is a problem with the mobile incoming call voice and I approached them to replace it or

                          exchange with any other model of any company for the same amount or even higher amount. But those people are like not even

                          professional. They do not even consider the request, they just do not want to replace the mobile.

                          I have launched the complaint within 48 hours of purchase, but still they argued that they cannot replace the set, only thing

                          they are saying is to go to the service centre of Sony Ericsson and get it checked by myself as maybe dust will be there and

                          all other irresponsible reasons. Another solution they are telling me is all Smart phone is like this and you have to use

                          Bluetooth for clear voice and forcing me to go for Bluetooth too. This model Xperia already has complaints regarding low

                          incoming voice and this set is really pathetic. Univercell marketing guy only forced me to go for this Xperia as I was

                          interested in only Nokia. After his advice I decided to go for this model which is 15k above my budget too as he gave me EMI

                          option for it, if I pay using Citi Credit card.

                          Whom do we have to blame in this case?

                            I have purchased a samsung mobile last week from Univercell store at Bilekahalli and also taken an aircel prepaid connection. I submitted the required documents there, but they have not submitted the same to the aircel office because of which the services were barred within 7 days. This I found after calling to the customer care. But the guys there simply say they will resolve it but are not doing anything. Its already been 4-5 days without this issue resolved by them.

                              Dear Sir,
                              Sub: Victim of High-End Fraud at Univercell store, Vignanagar, Blore-75.
                              I am a business manager working in a private firm residing at Basavanagar, Bangalore-37. I along with my family visited Univercell store in Vignananagar, Bangalore-75 to purchase two mobiles, one for my father and the other for myself. I started enquiring about various models from LG and Nokia and finalized on two phones. The models I purchased are LG A165 and Nokia X2-01 and I have paid INR 6530 in cash dated 30-April-2001 from this store. I can submit proof of this bill if needed.
                              I was using Nokia X2-01 model for self and the phone was working well for initial 7 days, after which it went off blank suddenly and was not powering on even after many attempts. Since the phone is well within the warranty period I took it to Nokia care at Marathahalli and gave it for a repair on 9th May 2011. After waiting for 30 minutes, Nokia care person came to me with a complaint that the PCB Is tampered, and showed me that the RF shield was CUT; I could see a clear demarcation for this CUT. They indicated this phone cannot be repaired within the warranty period as the Warranty is VOID due to tampering. It was a complete shocker for me as I couldn’t believe myself on how a new phone purchased couple of weeks back got tampered. With no alternate solution, I visited the same Univercell store same day where I have purchased this mobile and informed about what has happened at Nokia care center, Marathahalli branch. They initially checked with me if I had given it in any other service centers for repair and after I confirmed them about me not giving this mobile at any mobile store, they started putting blame on the Nokia Care Engineers saying that they would have tampered it since they will get money if they say warranty Void. I took permission from my office for half a day to fight on this cheating case. I have clearly warned the Univercell guys about filing a police compliant and filing a cheating case in consumer court. They were very negligent in addressing my issue and gave a suggestion to try out with other Nokia care centers in Bangalore. I wanted them to see the PCB so that they will not complain about me dropping the mobile or misusing it. So finally myself along with Univercell manager Mr. Srinivas accompanied with one more store in charge went to the Nokia care center in Indiranagar on the same day (i.e 9th May 2011) to submit my mobile for a repair. After a long wait, the Nokia care center personnel came with the same complaint that the phone is tampered and showed us the PCB which is very evident that the Universal guys sold a tampered piece under disguise.
                              Manager started fumbling in words and was trying to convince me to leave this phone at Indiranagar branch and he will get it repaired. There was a private discussion between the universal guys and the Nokia Care Center (NCC), Indiranagar manager to get this repair done with no charges. I was assured that I will get my phone back in good condition without paying for the repair charges. I was said that the NCC, Indiranagar will be sending this phone to the headquarters in New Delhi and will take 15-20 days for the repair. The delivery date in the Job sheet was mentioned as 30th May. I went to NCC Indiranagar and collected my phone on 30th and within minutes of powering on the phone, the Screen went blank again and the same condition repeated. The NCC personnel indicated that that the mobile firmware was upgraded and it was not sent to the Nokia care headquarters in New Delhi in spite of assuring me on that.
                              I went back to Univercell stores again and asked them a replacement for this piece for which they denied and were very adamant in fixing this issue. I have warned them about a police complaint and filing a case in consumer court but it didn’t reach their ears and bluntly responded. They asked me to go to any extent.
                              With left out hope and confidence on our judicial system, I am hopeful that I will receive proper justice to get a replacement for my Nokia X2-01.
                              I request you to kindly file this compliant against Univercell stores at Vignananagar and help me fight this high end fraudulent selling. The culprits should be punished for this high end fraud and I am ready to submit my phone for any kind of investigation, to identify the date of Tamper.
                              I have spent very agonizing moments and have commuted back and forth between the Nokia Care center and Univercell many times and am very disturbed for being a victim of such fraudulent case. I am not able to concentrate on my job duties because of this incident.
                              I was losing out my energy and patience and I am very disturbed with this incident.

                              univercell lg — frauds

                              this cheaters gave me a stupid gs500v and they are not giving back the money and also other phone..so it s best buy t from a good show room....

                              Univercell Stores — Victim of buying a Tampered Phone from Univercell stores, Vignana Nagar, Bangalore 75

                              I purchased a brand new phone two weeks back from Univercell store, Vignana nagar, Blore-75 store and it was tampered. I was surprised to hear this news, after I had given it at Nokia care soon after it has gone dead within two weeks of purchase. Nokia care rejected to repair this phone as the warranty is void due to tampering. Univercell guys are real fraudulent guys. Please do not visit their stores. They can open seal of any branded mobile in front of you, do observe this. I need to dump this phone as Univercell guys did not take any responsibility for this. I am really disappointed to have such fraudulent companies in existence for so long when they are not valuing the customer’s time and money. I completely understood their caption now "Where You Buy Really Matters". It’s a big Shame!!!

                                I have purchased a Nokia X2 01 model from Univercell (Ranganathan Street,T Nagar Chennai) two months ago. Mobile had some software problem. I went to near by Nokia Care but of no use. I went to Univercell & asked for Replacement. The salesman took no serious step about it for 2 weeks.

                                After 2 weeks when I asked for the status, that salesman was again asking for 2 days & has given the problematic model to Nokia Care. Inturn the salesman was shouting at me as if he is doing me any favour. Its his duty to do customer care, but his speech and all was very harsh & respectless. Readers Please be careful once you opt for UNIVERCELL. Think twice or thrice if you decide to be a customer o[censored]NIVERCELL.
                                Hi, I purchased Micromax a45 mobile from Univercell store in hyderabad(Dilsuknagar), one and half month before only.My Mobile stopped working.I purchased insurance also from the same store, they assured and promised for good service for my insurance.Now when my mobile is stopped working.First i took it to the micromax service center they refused to do a free service as if i hold insurance, and they are not ready to repair it, so I took to the stores, the response i recieved is worst.they say that the person(Manager) who promised has been resigned from univercell and we dont take any responsibility and refused to give service at all.Very pathetic customer service and no proper reply from any staff memeber in univercell.

                                  Sir,
                                  we purchased LG GX300-dual sim mobile from univercel,thanjavur branch on 20.3.2011. UTN-2892841..TIN NO-[protected], CST NO-875295/28-09-05 in the name of Dr.R.Usha Devi. Within a few days of purchase there was noise disturbance for incoming and outgoing calls in 1 particular sim which we reported within a month at the univercel showroom,and they restored the mobile settings telling it will be alright. But the problem still continued. When i approached for the 2nd time on 13.5.2011, they said the mobile is to be sent to the service station to install some software if necessary.complaint registered on 13.5.2011 through customer care to the complaint manager. For an obvious manufacturing defect,mobile is sent to the service station for repair within 2 months of purchase. why cant the company bare the damage and replace us with a new mobile as the problem is occuring for the 2nd time due to manufacture defect and without any fault on our side.am a doctor by profession and i cant run around for this issue. i would need necessary action for the above,if not i will be approaching the consumer forum

                                    I took a maid from UNIVERCEL EMP SERVICES< KK NAGAR< Chennai.

                                    WE need to pay the month salry as advance in order to take a maid with us. So we did the same.
                                    She basically came for baby sitting and helping me in cooking.. She stayed for 2 months and left taking the 2 months entire sarlry promosing that she wil return.
                                    On enquiry we came to know from his husband that the agancy had promised to place her for a 1000 rs extra in Kerala and so she left.

                                    I did not get a repalcement for her for more than a month which they promise us saying replacement will be given in a week. But nothing happend they keep saying nobody arraived from the villages so unable to provide replacement.... I am a working mom with no other support. i had manged with atmost difficulty and finally got a maid after 1.5 months but she has no exp in baby sitting she does only cooking .. which i never asked for...But i had no choice..Was forced to take her since my leave was getting over.

                                    She left on the same day saying some of her relative expired.... So gone.. then waited for another 10 days... Lost my career .. vanished all my leaves.. Finally got another one... demanding 6000k.. But she was taking care of my 10 months old son well so i thought cud pay her and continue my career as the is no other go..
                                    She went to her native after completing one month, she took 1 week leave... hmm i tolerated..... but she asked me to pay 7500.....:(..sayign agancy has arragned for some other place to work..

                                    This wat the agancy does.. They dont have ppl to work.. mange with 4 or 5 ppl.. Exchanging and increasing the demand..
                                    PLS DONT TAKE ANYBODY>>> THEY WILL SPEAK VERY POLISHLY TILL THEY GET DEPOSIT FROM YOU>> LATER THEY TREAT YOU MORE THAN A PERSON WHO HAS DEFUALTED THE PAY ANND MORE THAN A DOG>>
                                    Its like if they replace they wont get a depost which they can easily get by sending the nnew person to a new place.

                                      Sir,
                                      I am a middle class wife. I purchase a samsang duos 3212 phone on date 4/11/10 in Madurai At Annanager at the name of Mr.M N Ramsankar the UTN no is 2658008. Now we are in Coimbatore. Madurai is my native place.

                                      With in the 2nd month the phone was some the display was blank and come back after 2sec. after one the the battery was a problem. it will dry with in 12 hrs. i went to univercell thay said go to samsang center at 100feet road Coimbatore. I went samsang center on the date 9/4/11 i compled that the test and return my phone on 12/4/11 the workorder no is 11D0906.
                                      The Same problem is being continued then i went to the univercell they said i will replace the battery. i gave on univercell on the date of 22/04/11 at saibaba colony Coimbatore. The Service request no is 1092. After one week (29/4/11)the return the battery they said this is the new battery. The same problem is continued. i check that the battery no they did not replace the battery. The same battery is given to me.

                                      Again i went to the univercell on 2/5/11 the service request no is 1097. they said i will replace the battery i gave the both phone and battery to him. after i week i went to univercell now they said the battery is ok the phone motherboard is a problem give me 20 days i will replace the motherboard.

                                      For the past one month i am very very disappointing because of my phone.
