I had purchased Videocon A30 mobile phone with hope and trust on Videocon brand. But just in 2 months touch screen started functioning erraticaly and worked only partially. Also wi-fi stopped to function. When I went to customer care in andheri the issue was resolved. Now the same problem is repeating (with touchscreen, wifi) .I took it to Videocon service centre in Kandivli

Wherein the above person Mr. Rakesh Avhad refused to provide repair saying that there was water damage in the set and offered to repair out of warranty for 2500 rs. This is definately cheating on part of videocon as same problem was faced earlier also.

Request Videocon to redress this issue so we can continue to have same level of trust on the brand.

    Sir, i purchased a 80 litre refrigerator. very first day when it was being delivered, your salesman visited for demo and said that i can keep pet bottles worth capacity of 1 litre. now my side bottle rack had been broken. i complaint to your customer care executive. in response your executive visited but refused to repair the side door cabinet as he replied that it is because of your fault, we cant change or repair this. but sir my refrigerator is still under warranty. Again i complained at your website regarding my problem and in response they replied that my complaint has been sent for consideration in their concerned branch. But sir 20-25 days have been passed by, no any action has been take yet. Sir, i am facing too much problem and i humbly request you to take positive action. Please tell me your final decision.       Sir / Madam, The Details of Purchased Item/s from M/s Sai Srinivasa Electronics, Main Road, Tadepalligudem, W.G. District, A.P. (Contact No. 08818 – 226856) are furnished below:- (1) In the beginning on May 26th, 2013 Evening we have Purchased one Khaitan Air Cooler (Warranty for 1 Year) for Rs.5, 000/- from Vendor (Mr Prasad (Contact No.[protected]), M/s Sai Srinivasa Electronics, Main Road, Tadepalligudem, W.G. District, A.P.). (For Which Bills are not Enclosed) But when we Switched On for first time on May 26th, 2013 Night around 10.00pm, it worked for only 2 – 3 Minutes and all of sudden it stopped Working. (2) Later immediate next day i.e, May 26th, 2013 Evening we told to our Vendor about the Problem of Khaitan Air Cooler. Vendor (Mr.Prasad) told that that he will Assist with Company Service Mechanic to Rectify the Problem .(3) On May 28th, 2013 Evening Service Mechanic by name Mr. Varma (Contact No.[protected]) from Vijayawada arrived and attended for Repairing. After thorough Check - Up he told that Problem is with ‘Capacitor’ and as such he replaced with new Capacitor. Later soon later, night after he left our House, Air Cooler stopped Working like before, and as such he asked us to Replace with new Air Cooler as our Air Cooler is in Warranty Period.(4) On May 29th, 2013 Evening we have Returned Back the Purchased Khaitan Air Cooler requesting our Vendor (Mr.Prasad) to Pay – Back our Amount of Rs.5, 000/-. He told that he has to discuss with his Partner whether to Pay – Back the Amount or not. But after repeated asking to Pay – Back the Amount he said he has to discuss with his Partner.(5) Later myself and Mrs made up our mind to Purchase Videocon Semi – Automatic Washing Machine (Model : VS65C26-GLE) worth Rs.8, 000/- by Paying Balance Amount of Rs.3, 000. And as such we Purchased Videocon Semi – Automatic Washing Machine (Model : VS65C26-GLE) worth Rs.8, 000/- vide Cash Bill No. 58 dated 14th of July, 2013 for Rs.8000/- (Rupees Eight Thousand only) with TIN:[protected] Evening of 14th of July, 2013. (Bill Copy Duly Attached with Copy of Warranty Terms and Conditions).(6) In the beginning it worked for nearly 4 – 5 Times. But, real Troubles Started within short span, like it Works for Soaking first time and for Soaking second time, it didn’t worked and when we intimated same to Vendor immediately. Mr.Prasad, Vendor directed a Electrician. Electrician told the Problem is with Switch Board. Then even after constant changing of different Switch Boards the Washing Machine didn’t Work properly.(7) In Second Half of August, 2013 we were forced to Call Videocon Customer Care No.[protected] for registering Compliant. They registered Compliant and as such they directed Videocon Service Mechanic of Tadepalligudem by name Mr.Prasad (Contact No.[protected]). He attended and at the time of his arrival fortunately the Washing Machine was Working and soon later after he left it didn’t work. But he told us to Call him on Phone next day before Soaking of our Clothes with Washing Machine. Then immediate next day when we Called up for nearly 40 – 50 Times (Between 5.30 pm and 9.30pm) honestly he didn’t respond to our Calls.(8) Later, on 19th September, 2013 Morning we with the direction of Dealer given the Washing Machine to Service Centre at Tadepalligudem with a intention to get it repaired as it is in Warranty Period. After 10-12 days long the Servicing Centre Men Sent our Washing Machine saying that it has no defects. (But sincerely they didn’t even Checked the Washing Machine.)(9) Again and again the same Problem continued till November 24th, 2013 since the Day of Purchase i.e, 14th of July, 2013 of Washing Machine i.e, Soaking for first time only.(10) But, finally when we asked our Vendor Mr.Prasad to replace the Washing Machine with the new Washing Machine on November 24th, 2013 Morning with a Letter to sign it (Enclosed), he rejected. But, the Vendor directed Service Mechanic Mr.Ramu (Contact No.[protected] / [protected]) and as such he directed Service Technician Mr.Suresh (Contact No.[protected])who couldn’t able to Identify or Rectify the Problem with Washing Machine. ;as such we sent the Washing Machine to the Dealer and the Dealer sent the Washing Machine to Service Centre Men. And Service Centre Men asked us for Purchase Bill and Warranty Card Copies for getting repaired. We honestly submitted Purchase Bill and Warranty Card Copies on 28th of November, 2013.           My Customer ID: 83119700 Name : Balaji.R i am using 2 STB one is HD DVR with 500GB and HD STB, iam facing problem in recording for the past 5 months, i raised complaint no.[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected] etc.)to the customer care several times they closed the ticket without my confirmation and finally videocon service person (Mr. Satish [protected]) called me and changed the used STB the very next day onwards the STB keeps on rebooting, i called Mr. Satish several times he is not picking my call, till now the problem is not rectified. iam very much frustrated with the videocon service.

            I had purchase vediocon product from Bombey Agency, MTH Compound, Indore, M.P.( Your Authorized Dealer) on 26 Oct 2013 1) Double Door Freeze 2) Two Fully Automatic Machine Commitment from their side for installation service and Demo would be given in 72 Hours at your door step through RNA no[protected], RNA[protected], RNA[protected], out of above RNA one is for Indore which handled by their Demo service agency properly but for another two is for Post Polay kalan Dist Shajapur M.P. service provide by them not satisfactory at all, infect it would be better not to provide free demo, following problems I face from their side 1) Demo and installation service provider from side come after 4th of Nov 2013 that is a long delay of their commitment of 72 hours service (Demo Registrationdate 26/10/2013. 2) The Demo Provider is not trained and he admit that and said to us you will get automatically how to operate the machine within two or three month. He don't have any knowledge about fully automatic machine then how he can able to give Demo to us.

                  We bought a videocon mobile model no A22 they told its having 3G connectivity, in all verifications the model is having 3G, but in operator site customer care they are telling there is no possibility for connecting 3G in this model, I contacted the service centre, more than 15 days there is no response, their service centre contact no is switched off most of the time eventhough they pick the phone there is no response. please tell me what can i do for this

                    Sub: - Notice for refund of money for defective Kenstar water heater

                    1) That I purchased a 25ltr Kenstar Water Heater (having serial no.[protected] on 28th November 2011 from an authorized reseller Bhatia Enterprises located in Shopping Plaza, Shipra Suncity, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad product carrying warranty of 24months for as a whole component & 72 months for water tank.

                    2) That within 3 months of purchasing this device, water started leaking from this device. First Complaint was lodged at customer care on 2nd February’2012 (Complaint No. GSA[protected]) & it was repaired by service Engineer. But ever since buying this product there have been some or other faults with this water heating device at regular interval like leakage of water, heating element got damaged, neon indicator is not working, auto cut off has failed etc.

                    3) That within 20months of purchase, I have lodged the following complaints with customer care to repair this defective device:
                    i) Complaint No. GSA [protected] on 2nd February’2012
                    ii) Complaint No. GHA [protected] on 31st August’2012
                    iii) Complaint No. GHA[protected] on 12th November’2012
                    IV) Complaint No. GHA[protected] on 12th February’2013
                    v) Complaint No. GHA[protected] on 8th April’2013
                    vi) Complaint No. GHA[protected] on 6th June’2013
                    vii) Complaint No. GHA[protected] on 10th July’2013
                    viii) Complaint No. GHA[protected] on 24th Sept’2013
                    ix) Complaint No. GHA[protected] on 15th Oct’2013

                    4) That the old defective Kenstar water heater was replaced by a new one on 27th July’2013 but after using the replaced water heater for around two months same water leakage problem has started.

                    5) That on the basis of my recent complaints in customer care on 24th Sept’2013 (Complaint No.[protected]) & on 15th October’2013 (Complaint No. [protected]) several service executives (Jameel, Mr. Vijay, Mr. Manoj etc.) have visited to attend my complaints 5/6 times for repairing this faulty device.

                    6) That the problem of water leakage is still remaining unresolved, service executives are unable to repair the faults, water is still flowing out of the water heater. They are wasting our time & Customer care is closing / cancelling the complaints without resolving my issue.

                    7) That me & my family have suffered a lot due to this faulty device since the day of purchase ( 28th Nov’2011) of this defective water heater, half of the period since buying this instrument, it hasn’t worked due to some or other faults in it. Due to leakage of water in electric component, short circuit took place in main MCV of my house, which causes financial loss to me for replacing the entire MCV set. Always there is a risk of electric shock in entire pipe line due to leaked water from tank & all the family members are endangering their life.

                    8) That I have given enough of opportunity to resolve problem in water heater through repair, replacement of components & even for replacing with a new one but my problem still remain unsolved, all the efforts to restore this faulty device have failed.

                    9) That you are requested to repay my purchase price of Rs. 7, 400/- (Rupees Seven Thousand Four Hundred Only) for this defective water heater without further delay. Failure of which within 15 days of this notice I will leave out with no option but to approach consumer court of local jurisdiction in order to establish my right as consumer.

                        I, Mr Kumar Vikas purchased A Videocon Refrigerator Model 55X DC Serial No.[protected] from Videocon Authorised Dealer M/s MOTHER ELECTRONICS on Date[protected]. Now in under warranty my refrigerator stopped working in April 2013 and i have complained about to Videocon dealership. After very long time we get it repaired by your company technician on date[protected] and they have changed compressor. Compressor Serial No. SIBERIA GVM25AA A0011120. Now before one week again Refrigerator stop working and when 1 contact with my technician they told compressor get shoot. I don't believe how its possible. If compressor changed by Videocon service and fitted new compressor how it shoot. Also they told it is Chinese and possible to not original. Also I want to remind you, when your technician come with new compressor I have checked it and found screeches, Rust, So Dirty & Dent upside. And they told it comes from Videocon Company. Also Warranty Book not return given by service center. They told it is now our property. I have attached here photograph of Compressor, Dealer's Delivery Challan & Service Center Receipt for your Reference. Please check from your end. What will possible now.                           I purchased a washing machine; model # WMSAVS72611 - 7.2 kg from Hypercity – Ahmedabad; date of purchase 19/07/2013; item number[protected]. Since the initial days the washing machine is not functioning properly. Firstly no one from Videocon came for demonstration, the machine had several problems which I brought to the attention of the TL (Soheb) & Manager (Kaushal Thakkar & Hiteshbhai) of Hypercity; however, they were not managed satisfactorily. I was asked to contact Videocon which I did, I was given a complain number (mentioned above). The technician did come to attend the machine; however, he was not able to resolve the problem. At first he informed that the belt is not working, and it needs to be changed; however, he didn’t change on the same date, but closed the ticket. I waited for 2 days, but didn’t get any response so I called them again for which they raised another ticket. This time another technician from Videocon came and informed that the belt is working fine; however, few of the screw were not fixed properly, he tightened them and closed the ticket. After this repair the machine worked fine for 2 days after which the problem started again. I called them again and informed about the same for which I was informed that the noise is un-repairable and it will persist. Hence, I informed them to handover me the repair job sheet mentioning that this is un-repairable and the noise will not affect the functioning of the washing machine. However, he refused and informed that he will raise another ticket. After 5 days the same technician came and asked me to handover the copy of the invoice so that he can pass it on to his works manager; however, I didn’t receive any information after that for 2 days. So I called Hitesh (Hypercity – Ahmedabad branch Manager) who informed that they will replace the machine, but will have to talk with the Videocon manger. Since then I have not received any information from them. Could you please assist me with the complaint?

                              I had purchased Videocon fully automated 5.5 kg washing machine from Reliance mart on 11.10.12. Hardly used for 5-6 months, overall not more then 25 washing's. mean time the washing cycles are mall functioning and some times the cycles are bypassing. One day the M/C not taken water inlet. Three months back we have registered the complaint. after one month service engineer came replaced the inlet valve, with out checking the M/C. they have not resolve the issue and they created new problem. Again raised complaint for the second problem. Few days back the tech was phoned for service, at the time my family went to important work, and informed to attend on next day, immediately the the complaint cancelled. Again raised the complaint with in three days (25.10.13, Complaint no. TIR [protected]) But there was no spare available at service center, they assembled the spare to some one which has brought for me. Now almost 13 days over after raising of third time complaint. The online support says that technician will come within 24 hours, but till date no one has visited our house to resolve this issue. we are struggling for washing because of Videocon poor service Regards Naresh Vunnam [protected]

                                We had Purchased a fully automatic Front load Washing machine model No.-Careen, WM VF62CAWH-CSN-White colour from your Aurangabad(seconds) Adalat Road outlet..on 10th Oct13.. Where he has given DEMO without water, The shop sales person claimed It is model which is Discontinues currently(but new in condition) and hence in Good faith, Placing trust on Esteemed Brand like Videocon I purchased it by paying 11K upfront cash.. And we were trying to get it Installed by your service person in Pune, we were informed by him that the DRUM is damaged and PCB is also not working, which means a defective washing machine has been Thrust on us, we do not expect this kind of product “Damaged” from a leader like Videocon.. We have been using Videocon products sine a long time..and this is the first time that we have come across such service from you, we are dismayed..

                                I HAVE A VIDEOCON CAREEN 6.2 KG WASHING MACHINE PURCAHSED IN 2011. ON 30TH APRIL 2015, A POWER SURPLUS WAS OCCURED IN OUR WHOLE BUILDING AND WITH THIS MACHINE, MY SAMSUNG LED TV, 3 FANS, 1 GODREJ REFRIGERATOR WERE LOST. ALLS PCP/MOTHERBOARD WERE AFFECTED. AROUND 2-3 RD MAY 2015, I DOCATED COMPLAINTS IN EACH COS CONSUMER CARE AND WITHIN 3 DAYS ( TV, FRIDGE, FANS) ALL THE SERVICES DONE CHANGING MOTHERBOARD, PCP ETC. BUT TILL NOW, VIDEOCON SERVICE CENTER DOES NOT SUPPLIED THE PCP (WHICH WILL BE COST AROUND 8 K AS PER THEIR ESTIMATE AND I READY TO PAY) TILL DATE. ON 3 RD JUNE A PCP ARRIVED BUT SAD TO SAY THAT IS FOR CAREEN PLUS MODEL, NOT FOR MY MACHINE. SINCE LAST ALMOST 2 MONTHS, MY MACHINE LYING IDLE AND SUCH A REPUTED COMPANY FAILS TO SUPPLY THE SPARE PARTS OF SUCH A COSTLY MACHINE.                                 i finally sold the machine at rs 500 to scrap dealers. videocon co failed to supply pcp. local mechanic somewhat repaired and the machine last around 1 year before final breakdown. even so called engineer from videocon failed to locate the problem in pcp rather repairing that. i brought IFB machine which is doing great. in the stated power outrage another IFB machine was lost which was 8 years old but co supplied the parts. same story about my godrej fridge. videocon is a false and fradulant company.

                                  My washing machine which I purchased from Attinkara Electronics, Chengennur got complaint with the board. It switches off & does't start for long time. I did this complaint to your tiruvalla service centre, two months back before onam. When we ca up, they give us lame excuses, say will send today, tomorrrow. Till this time, they have not sent any of their executives. It is really a pathetic condition to videocon itself, I am planning to buy another brand washing machine now. i am wife of senior pastor of a leading church in pathanamthitta. with us thousands are worshipping. this bad report is being spread to so many people. I don't know what action you are going to take. but one thing this is very bad service & really it will affect the goodwill of your company

                                    Dear Sir, I have purchased Videocon A-30 on 25/01/2013. IME no. is [protected]. I still remember that unfortunate day, why I have bought it. This model is faulty and has manufacturing mistakes. Since beginning it has heating problem. On 3rd day red border lines were appearing then I went to dealer Sheetal Music World, Udaipur he formatted/ reset it. This handset hangs every time. 512 MB RAM is also not perfect/effective. In the month of August there was a great problem of on/off of Wi-Fi application. Then I again gave it to Service centre in Udaipur & my hand set came after 15 days. I was without mobile during this tenure. It includes my mental harassment also. After this, network problem started. Now yesterday a new big problem has started of auto on/off (restart) after every 5-10 mts. Then I visited Service centre in Udaipur (Rishabh Telecom). He has sent my handset to Jaipur service centre. Now I request you to please change my handset from another Model like A-51/A-48/A-42 whichever u like. It is surprised to know that if company is knowing that A-30 has problem it should be changed for all customers. I am also attaching one Review of another customer on www.mouthshut.com for your reference. Finally I again request u to change my handset by another model like A-51/A-48/A-42 otherwise I will have to think another options for justice. Thanking you in anticipation…

After 6 months from purchase, it started getting problem with operating of washing machine. They cannot solve any off our problem right from Aug-2013. We are shocked to notice that NO PROPER ATTENTION to diagnose the problem and rectify the same cannot be done. Even visiting to our home was always delayed. We are very loyal to Videocon products Refer to our complaint no. 1. 20th Aug-2013 - Complaint no. [protected] - found defect in PCB and replaced 2. 24th Aug-2013 - Complaint no.[protected] - found defect in PCB and replaced 3.25th Sept-2013 - Complaint no.[protected] - found defect in PCB and replaced 4.09th Oct-2013 - Complaint no.[protected] - found defect in PCB and replaced 5.10th Oct-2013 - Complaint no.[protected] - found defect in PCB and replaced 6.13th Oct-2013 - Complaint no.[protected] After this I have got message from MD-SERVCE saying that if your not satisfied with complaint resolution then send SVC-CFBN on [protected]. For which I have replied that washing machine is working ONLY in wash mode and not in spin & rinse mode. I have got reply that Dear Customer, as per your feedback regarding our service your call THA [protected] has been reopened. Our service team will contact you shortly on 13th Oct-2013. For this complaint they have closed it without sending service person for which we got reply on 15th Oct-2013. 7.Again we have logged complaint no.[protected] on 16th Oct-2013, for this we got reply that Mr. Pramod Jaiswal will be coming to attend only on Monday 21st Oct-2013. From above record we request you to replace this defective washing machine with a brand new machine. We are very much disappointed that your service team cannot solve a simple complaint of complete working cycle of washing machine. We have to wait and watch for the visit of service personnel cancelling all our appointments from Aug-2013.This is not expected from VIDEOCON. Hope you will take cognizance of this service given to us for probably defective piece supplied. Please acknowledge receipt of this complaint and request you to update redressal steps taken from your side on priority.                                         My d2h connection works only 2-20 minutes and then starta showing "signal not available error". I have registered complaint and paid 140 rs to d2h engineer sent by company. But still there is no improvememt and same problem exists. I have registered complaint from 7 says but still the issue is not resolved. Please do the needful asap, otherwisw I will leave this irritating d2h connection and move to another operator.
