Sir,
I would like to bring to your notice on the ill behavior shown by the manager of Vishal Mart near Silk Board, Bangalore.

I am a regular customer at Vishal Mega Mart and Big Bazaar. I had purchased clothes worth of Rs 1890/- yesterday and returned home. Unfortunetly I had taken a wrong size of shirt for myself. I called up the store and Manager Giri picked up the call. I asked him if i can come immediately to replace the shirt, he said the Mall will close now, I can come tomorrow.

The next evening I went with the bill and shirt to replace, but the security stopped and started to say "No Exchange". I spoke to a supervisor who said that the billing system is not working and I will not get any exchange. I told him that I came from far place and traveled through Bus, so its difficult to travel everyday, I told him that I don't even need the bill in exchange. But he refused. In a short while the Manager of the store Mr Giri came and on the face spoke "I will not give you exchange, do whatever you want to do". the entire crowd was looking at me. I told him politely again, but he refused to talk. I am not sure if he was in some personal stress or something. I told him that i will go to consumer courts if he speaks the same way again. For which he replied, "even if the father of consumer court comes, he will not be able to pull his hair" (in Hindi).

Surprisingly we are still living in a country where customers are not valued for the purchase they have made. Moreover being abused just for asking exchange. Personal problems should not be shown at work. I am not sure if this complain goes to any senior person. But I would be happy if someone replies and lets me know how we tackle these kind of merchandiser in our country.

vishal mega mart has bad customer relations i too faced a problem with this guys, they will never reply.i felt like a hell whole day by the way treated me.
i hope their management is very poor.i can say only thing to people.never go to that store they think that consumers are slaves and this managers are showing muscles.

    Sir,
    I purchased a dress(Suit) from ur esteemed branch of Karol Bagh, Delhi for my wife from her birthday. When i gifted her, she put on dress but it's the size of M, but my wife's size is L. So i want to exchange this suit again by taking L size of the same suit. Ur executive told me that i[censored] want to exchange this suit then please come within 7 days. I was busy in my office, so my wife went to Vishal Mega Mart, KarolBagh, Branch of Delhi. After 4 days when she went to exchange her suit with taking same suit of L size, then ur executive told her that this suit can not be exchanged as it's a part of Offer( One lagging free for taking any 2 suits) . But the main thing is that at the time of purchase ur executive not told me that this suit can not be exchanged. I was not sure for my wife's size so i had already confirmed with ur staff that suit can be exchanged or not and ur staff had assured that within 7 days, u can exchange ur suits. There was also no banner or message board that offer items can not be exchanged and when she told the manager regarding this then he replied that they cannot replace this.
    It is therefore requested to kindly look into the matter and exchange this suit from M size to L size.
    It is for ur necessary action please.

        i purchased a blanket of bill no.[protected], of Rs.649/-, counter no.06, date: 11.01.12, at 15:36, from vishal mega mart,madhubani complex,kanth road,moradabad,uttar pradesh. Tin:[protected], Mob:[protected].
        The blanket was defective as a minor cut at the corner which was not seen at the time of purchase. At the time of purchasing no one can be their for customer services. So we purchased it on faith on the Vishal Mega Mart. Next day we going to mart for exchange it but the manager was absent on that day. After that day we again come to mart for exchange the blanket but the manager was so rood and abuse talking and said i don't want to do nothing for you. Now i what to do?

        It is my humble request please take a fruitful for the above said.

          From when you have stopped the shopping through card if the bill is less than R. 100? On 24th Oct 2011 your employee of VISHAL MEGA MART, NEAR AMRAPALI CINEMA HALL, DANAPUR, PATNA, your employy at counter no.1 told me rudely that it is the rule of our company to not take the amount less than Rs 100 through card.

          Please, assure me whether it was a genuine information to your CUSTOMER?

            My Name is Neha Agrawal and I Belong to Meerut city .

            I have visited Vishal Mega Mart in Meerut city ( only one shop in meerut , 137 2-A Garh Road , Opp. Hotal Samrat Heavens , Meerut ) on 3rd Dec 20011 ( Saturday) . I have faced a very bad experience from there staff members .

            When we reached the payment counter we saw that out of 4 only 2 counter was open . When we was waiting for our number then one more was closed . So now only 1 was open . The Person standing on that counter was so rude with all the customers and i was observing that . When my number comes that person has started doing entry and said that total is of Rs 2150 . My mom was carrying the purse so now she start counting the money to give him. When she open the purse that person said very badly " Jaldi karo , warna line lag jayege yaha " ( make it fast otherwise crowd will increase ).

            He was so rude while saying that i can't even tell you . I said what you want we give you full purse or you want us to calculate or not . Even start making faces . Then in hurry my mom has given him some less money by mistake only 2050 , he said this is less . My mom then given him ICICI Bank debit card , as she don't want to involved in again dispute.

            Then in the Debit card Swap machine paper roll was finish and we was waiting for him to insert the roll . He start handling other work in place of inserting the roll in machine .

            Then we also says that now why are you wasting time , you only said to make it fast and now you are wasting time . Then he treated his so rude .

            This is not the service we have expected from Vishal Mega Mart . His Name is " Ankur " and our bill number was[protected] Counter No :- 3

            IF Vishal will not take any action against this person then me and my family will never enter any branch of Vishal . I know Vihal Mega mart will not care for any single person not entering to there shop . However I like to share my complaint on this board so that you people should also know how there staff trate us .

            Apart from this Big Bazaar people are very helpful an very cooperative as well . I ask all of you to visit Big Bazaar in place of Vishal . Or you can even visit Easy Day .

            Hope my this complain will be taken seriously

              Being a long time and loyal customer of Vishal Mega Mart, I went today to P1/2/3 Sector-I Aashiana Vishal Mega Mart Lucknow-2 and brought a baby shoe along with a saree and baby frock.
              After checking I found shoes is damaged and LED lights not working in right pair of shoes,obviously after making it wear in baby legs.
              Immediately I returned back within an hour and told the same to Vishal Mega Mart staff.
              Amazingly without listening me staff responded " Product is Chinese & the moment we bill there is no liability, so take back".
              I talked senior staff & to my amazement instead looking into the matter bluntly says" Replacement is your generation problem hence no replacement". Totally irrelevant response rather shocking. I returned shoes to him & he kept it in his pocket. Still thinking why he kept shoes in his pocket. Doubting employees integrity.

                I have purchased some products from Vishal Mega Mart & My Bill No:[protected] dated 25-Sep-2011 and the total amount is 707 Rs. after discounted.In this product i have purchased 2 T-shirts which sizes are Small.Actully there is no trail room to check the size of T-shirts So i have buy the T-Shirts .I have checked size at home but it was small in size after 10 mins i was went to the Vishal Mega Mart for the replacement of TShirts but they have not replaced the Tshirts even my humble request.I have given the T-shirts to Manager of Vishal Mega Mart and i said him it is totally wastage o[censored]s so we don't need this.

                I have given the T-shirts to Branch Manager But I required same T-shirts in Medium Size.So requested to you Kindly help me to get it from Vishal Mega Mart.

                  I purchased a T-Shirt from Vishal Mega Mart Kurukshetra on 28 Jul 2011 vide Bill No.[protected]. When I tried the T-shirt at home, it was undersize. I approached the store very next day for exchange, but to my surprise, they refused to exchange. When I inquired about, the Mgr Stores Mr. Ramandeep Singh told me that this T-shirt was sold on discount, so cannot be exchanged. He further explained that about ten customers approach everyday but we cannot help as it is against our policy. I informed him that I was not aware of the discount & policy as I picked up the item from the fresh ones and nothing about discount is mentioned either on the product or on the priceboard. He told me that everything is mentioned on the bill and i[censored] have any problem, u can take a legal action.
                  My complaint is -
                  (a) Size of the product is not as per standard.
                  (b) Rights of the customer are overpowered by the said store.
                  Kindly persue the matter.

                      I am telling about Vishal Mega mart. The bitter experience I received from them is below. I purchased many things from them day before yesterday out of which one baby shirt has been given 50% off. We reached home and checked all the materials we purchased. Then we found that the said baby shirt was torn out. we could not trace it out at the shop because one sticker with some number was pasted on that particular space. We thought it would be their serial No. or something like that when they bill it, therefore we did not remove it. At home we removed it and found the dress was torn out on that particular space. Next day we reached back to Vishal for exchanging the same with other one. The staff were very cruel and told me we can not exchange discounted material, It is the company rule. I again confirmed them that the mistake has been done by you and plead them to please change it, otherwise we need to go to consumer forum for such a silly matter. Your Executive at the Counter again refuesd to get it exchanged. Think for a moment! It is very clear from my above words Vishal Mega mart is a great cheat, that is why they pasted sticker on that particular space that customers be deceived. What a cheat!                       I request you to give me a positive reply against my complaint, if not received a positive reply within 3 days, i.e. on or before 22/04/2011 at 4.pm, I will be approaching consumer forum for a favourable action.                       On 18 Feb I bought a pare of Shoes from Vishal Mega Mart by spending Rs.800/-. On 20 Feb those shoes became damaged. I went to the store immediately and informed about the matter but surprised to see their cheap behavior and response. The Staffs of the store said, we can not do anything and denied to change those shoes.

                      The store is cheating consumers. The products they are dealing are, either of old stock or manufacturing diffective piece.

                        I visited vishal mega mart Allahabad (U.P.) on 28.03.2011 and found there were no essential items available like soya vegetable oil neither 1 ltr pack nor 5 ltr pack or any pack thereof. Sabji masala was also not available.Dettol liquid soap/ hand wash was also not available.During my last visit in end of feb 2011 or it was first week of march there was also a situation like that.Then i remember mustard oil was not available in 5 ltr pack.
                        When we enter such a big and famous mall we expect everything to be there.Moreover indifferent attitude of persons there also indicates some slackness of the part of local management or some internal problem i suspected they were facing some type of salary cut.
                        Any way i have lodged this complaint in the interest of Vishal Mega Mart only.

                          Dearsir ,With due regards ,The harasment which vishal megamart is giving to me let me explain you the whole incident .sir I purchase a weston tv model no- flatt line -501,sl no -on908 from vishal megamart . baripada branch,dist-mayurbhanj,orissa on dt-8-2-10.this has 2 years waranty an expart from vishal side said that the picture tube may be worked not properly and part of screen got some problemed and don't worry i will be exchange the picture tube i am chasing visal megamart since 6 months to replace the product .                             number of times i had visited to vishal megamart , ansal plaza, there not a single staff who can answwer the query or he shows the items. More than five times this year i have purchased the items from kids zone . ( cost more than 1000 rs , gift item) not a single staff who is intrested to show the variety of item which you have in your place. first up all we have to call ur staff and ask then they dont want to send the purchased item at billing counter which is at downstair. straight forward they refused. Mr vikas jha your floor manager he also no bother about all this things .

                            Its radiculous.
                            We have to stop to purchase from vishal megamart.

                                There are some staff, i know the name of one that is Mr. Kumar. They all are misbehave withe customer. One day the cashier didn't billed one good among the bunch of goods and the gate keeper catch me and blame that i am thief. Mr. Kumar and some of their friends take me under basement and demand 1000/ bugs. They are trying to hit me any more. They kept all my money.                                   I purchased a Blazor ( Suit set) for Rs 1197.50 on 17th Jan 2011 at 9:40 PM. I purchased from Mahipal Pur outlet of Vishal Mega Mart. Although I tried there but later at home I found that the blazor was oversized one. I don't know how I could not observe the same at their outlet. None of their attendand were there to assist.

                                  I was to happy to learn at cash counter that I should get 50% discount on that product. Kindly note that nothing was mentioned on the product area. Although somewhere near the entrance they had placed few of the Suit (blazor) and there was a mention of 50% discount on those product. But I purchased from the area where was a big stock without mention of discount.

                                  I purchased many other thing. When I checked the blazor at home I understood that the blazor was not fitting me. So next day I visited their shop to get another one in exchange of the one I purchased. There I faced the surprise. They refused to exchange the product. They slapped me with their rule. The rule was no discounted product is eligible for exchange.

                                  Why a person need a exchange? Question is do they allow exchange ? Yes they do. Only for the product which are not sold on discount. Well, what is the meaning of discount. You allow a discount of 30%. Do anybody know how much you earn form a particular product? If you make 60% profit and allow 30% discount. You still make 30% profit.

                                  Why an exchange is required ? Is it at all required ?

                                  Yes, it is required for apparrel or on fashion clothes. As choice may not fit or a particular selection may not be a better choice. That is the reason they allow exchange. Not only they most of the store dealing on textile product allow exchange in condition that they get their product as it is.

                                  I was denied an exchange. Neither I was allowed to take some other thing in exchange of that product.

                                  This is just injustice. This is cheating.
                                  How can a store deny their product before 24 hrs.

                                  Should a store be allowed to do a business with this type of cheating attitude. They just want to through product on the head of a innocent customer.

                                  Is there any chance that my product shall be exchanged or I shall be allowed any other product from their store of teh same vaule?

                                    sir, im a regular custmer of vmmart.yesterday i have also purched worth of rs.2440=00.sir ur store manager Vikas Mittal misbehave with me.sir i was cheaking a footbal pump.he came to [protected]@shouted"TUNE ISKI PACKING FAD DI HAI,30 RS KA PUMP CHEAK KAREGA.JA PUMPNAHI HAI"OH SIR I WAS sirprised that a sales person of VMMart can do this type of behave for his costmer.i said to him that u cannt do this type of behave then he told"TU MUJHE JANTA NAHI HAI BAHAR NIKAL TO BATATA HU"SIR tabhi unka sathi bola"family ke sath aya hai chupchap shopping kar"Sir i cannt sleep through out the night.Sir in which store im regular purchaching 10 to12 thousand per month,the person of that store can do this this type of behave.i m very hurtled by him.I m very afraid to go there in future however i was purchaching all of my daily needs from VMMart.Sir pls take anessary action against him &his partner.

                                      MIS BEHAVE BY STAFF
                                      I visited Vishal Mega Mart for first ( & probably the last) time at ABOAHR.
                                      Its horrible & terrific over there. The staff attending at the counters don't have even least sense and shame of how to behave with Customers.

                                      Poorly dressed as if belong to labour classed hired to save the cost of salaries

                                      I have purchased the items near about cost 5000/- on[protected]. When I want to make the payment at cash counter I give my credit card . Which is issued by SBI. The man on the counter replied we have not accept the SBI Credit Card. After that I have to arrange credit card od HDFC Bank. When I present It on counter. The Counter man replied that It is also not acceptable. I want to now the reason . Then he said taht the card machine is out of order. I want to know when it will be in order. Then he replied ''PATA NAHI KAB CHALEGI ,DIMAG MAT KHAO CASH LE KE AAO." I feel so ashamed that the people of an esteemed organation are behaved like that.
                                      Please look the matter.

                                      M very upset with billing executive as well as manager of vishal megamart.
                                      I have to wait for 30 minutes to bill a single shirt.
                                      I asked billing executive where is second n third billing executive he told i dont know and talk rudly with me .
                                      He did not billed me and start to bill the person who behind me.i asked what is this he told u have to told me to bill me other wise i did not ask why u are in que.

                                        Myself Pushpendra Kumawat.I bought one pair shoes from Vishal Mega Mart Beawar on date 17/10/2010.When I tried to put shoe in home i felt that soal of both shoe is not same so there is difficult to me for walk with shoe.When i went there(Vishal Mega Mart,Beawar)then he refused to change it & told that he did not change that material because it is on discounted price.So please take this matter seriously.Your aim should be only Customer satisfaction.Not to rigid some thing like that.
