Dear Sir / Madam, Good day. This is about Inefficient Working, Incompetent System and utterly Non Customer-friendly experience I faced at one of your Retail outlets at City center, Madhav Rao Scindhia Marg, Gwalior.
It happened on the evening of 02.05.2015. A day before, on 01.05.2015, I did a purchasing of about Rs 1150/-, at said Retail Store, which led to Two Discount Coupons in my name, coupon Nos 33188043 & 22843022, worth of Rs 100/- each. Next day, on May 2nd, I again visited the same Store and did a purchasing of another Rs 866/-. Related Cash Memo details are as following :-

NOW, at the time of Cash Memo generation, I asked the Cashier, Mr Dharmender, to redeem one of my Discount Coupons, No 33188043. He entered the related details into his Computer but the Discount Coupon could not be redeemed. He tried for about 10 minutes but failed. Then Mr Deepanshu, probably the Store Incharge, came there and tried for the same but could not do it. Then he contacted, as he told me, his IT team at HO, kept talking to them for another 20 minutes but nothing worked. While talking to them, Mr Deepanshu even told the person on other side that same problem had occurred in the forenoon as well and one Mr Alok had set it right and had assured Mr Deepanshu that it won’t happen again. BUT, it in fact happened once again and your IT team could not resolve the problem. I waited for about 45 minutes there in the line at counter, with about 25 more customers standing behind me and then asked Mr Deepanshu to forget about the “Discount Coupon” and paid him the Full amount of Rs 866/- and came back home, with your “VALUED BUT NON REDEEMABLE” Discount Coupon. Another Discount coupon, 22843022 still remains non-redeemed and I am shivering at the thought of going back to your Store to get it redeemed.
Dear Sir / Madam, the point is not about an amount of Rs 200/-, its about the Inefficiency, Un Clear instructions down the line, Failure of the System, Incompetence of the IT team and Careless and Uncaring attitude towards the customers.
Your Staff, at all levels, failed to take Corrective & Preventive measures about a problem which even was noticed earlier in the working day itself, as Mr Deepanshu himself told to your IT Team. On the other hand, the Store Incharge Mr Deepanshu, when asked about by me, had no answer about “How to compensate the affected customer in such a scenario, like this one or when the Company/Store is at fault”. Even Mr Deepanshu could not afford to say “SORRY” to me. He SIMPLY cut the Full cost and handed me the bill and forgot about the incident because, it happened at around 19:30 hrs on May 2nd and I haven’t heard anything from your side till now. This part of yours tells about Utter Non Customer Friendly Attitude of you ALL.
NOW, Tell me How you are going to compensate me about ALL this DIRTY experience that I had in your Retail Store, WITHOUT any fault of mine AND How you are going to ensure it won’t happen again to any other customer ???
