I had booked a flight on the 1st of June 2020 from Delhi to Kolkata using MakeMyTrip but the flight got canceled Due to Operational Reasons from Vistara's end. I contacted Vistara on the 5th of June, 2020 about this, where it was said that the amount would remain in my wallet, that I could contact Vistara to book another flight within 31st of March 2021 using this ticket's amount and that I would need to only bear the extra charges if applicable (call recording attached). I was not asked to create a Club Vistara account at the time and to just keep my Ticket Number and PNR number ready.
Today I contacted Vistara to book a ticket using the amount which should be available but it was said that I cannot use it because I have no Club Vistara ID. I have provided all the necessary information but I am not allowed to use the amount from the canceled flight. Please allow me to book a new ticket using the amount from the canceled flight. I am ready to create a Club Vistara account if needed.

    I tried to book flight ticket from Mumbai to Kolkata via Yatra app on 15 Dec 2020, after the payment completion no confirmation mail or sms received but money got deducted from my account.

    There is no customer care number to discuss the issue with yatra team. I mailed the issue also sent the reminders but no response received.

    Kindly help me with the refund.

        I had done a booking with Vistara on 3rd October 2020 from Patna to Bangalore. After receiving the confirmation of the booked ticket (with PNR SPSQLX), I noticed the name is incorrect. Immediately I contacted the customer executive of Vistara. After narrating the complete incident, I asked for a refund as anyhow I had to re-book the ticket for the next day. The executive confirmed that the ticket is cancelled from his end and I can re-book the ticket now. He also confirmed that INR 1000 would be deducted and rest would be refunded back out of INR 8293 within 7 to 10 days. Since I didn't received any e-mail/message for ticket cancellation/ refund, I called the airlines again the same night. This time another executive confirmed that since this is a customized refund request for you so we haven't sent any confirmation mail regarding the same but the ticket is cancelled and as conveyed earlier refund would be received in 7-10 days. After 10 days when I didn't receive the refund, I called again. And this time I got to know that the refund request wasn't processed for approval. The guy said I had to provide the new PNR after re-booking and it had to be provided the same day. This is how their refund service works- taking the consumer round and round and constantly consoling with wrong assurance. Then I provided the required details to him and it's been another 10 days today and still my refund of Rs. 7293 is not received. After calling multiple times and taking the follow up, I am still left waiting for my own money.

            We booked a ticket on 11th March, 2020 from Mumbai to Kolkata for a journey on 13th May, 2020 pertaining PNR number LTIGLW. We had plans for visiting Mumbai for treatment of Mr. Tapas Kumar Ghosh (one of the passengers in this ticket) who is suffering from Brain cancer (Glioblastoma Multiforme). However, since the flight was cancelled due to lockdown, we couldn't travel and we were told we can reschedule the flight anytime till December 31st, 2020. However, during this interval health condition of Mr. Tapas Kumar Ghosh has further deteriorated. He has lost most of his vision and also not able to sit on his own. Doctors has also confirmed that he is only going to deteriorate further. Considering his quality of life and current condition, it is not possible for him to travel anywhere, let alone by flight. Hence, we would like to urge you to consider our case and process a full refund for the tickets as we won't be able to travel even till 31st December. Also, the refund money can be used for Mr. Tapas Kumar Ghosh's further treatment.

              I made a flight ticket on 23rd march 2020 the pnr 1a-n73qvl but the flight was cancelled due to lock down in all over india and the vistara airlines does not made me any refund for these ticket.

                My flight was confirmed and booked for 26th sep in uk705 which was a direct flight from delhi to kolkata at 7:30 am. Suddenly i got message from vistara that the flight has been rescheduled and now will go via bhabuneshwar and reach kolkata at 16:35. I have my onward journey booked in the afternoon which i have to cancel and there will be no refund for that.

                This is the message i got from ms. Komal from customer service:
                Dear mr. Saurabh, thank you for your time and speaking with us. Sorry to disappoint you. We understand delays are frustrating. The flight has stopover at bbi for refueling. Appreciate your kind understanding. Thanks. Komal.

                Do you really think this is an explanation?
                Need proper assistance or i have to go to consumer court.

                    Dear sir/mam,

                    I am writing to you because i would like to make an official complaint. My name is priyank gupta and over the past two / three months, i have been trying to get my refund back of my ticket. This is because i paid in march but at the last minute due to very personal reasons i am not able to travel because of my marriage postpone to next year december 2021 my ticket pnr (Miomo7) and so i started to send an application of getting my money back. Because of the lockdown situation, i am suffering from fund issues.

                    It has been two / three months since then and i have sent multiple letters of reminders. I have to say that if i don’t get my money back in the next week i will be taking this to court. I hope that you will do this as am sure you don’t want the hassle any more than i do. I look forward to hearing back from you.

                      Hi,

                      I had booking for 14 April 2020 from Mumbai to Hyderbad though online in economy lite, but due to lockdown booking got cancelled. Then I rebooked using customer care number on 5th May 2020, but your customer care executive did not informed anything and booked my flight in economy standard. Which is completely wrong and cheating of your customer. Now when I was trying to book from Hyderbad to mumbai I came to know my rebooking done in economy standard and it can be downgrade. Which is misleading your customer by Vistara by not giving full information. I need approval to downgrade or please help us to get my money back.

                        I am Sajeesh Babu, I have tried to book a flight ticket for my collegue named SASI .A, on air vistara from Delhi to dilbugarh for an amount of Rs-3835/- (date of Journey 03.08.2020 ) through SBI Net banking on 31.07.2020.The transaction was initiated from my account No.[protected]. But the transaction was failed and the ticket is not booked, but the amount is deducted from my account . After the failed transaction I have got an E mail from Air vistara with an order No.[protected] and CCavenue ref number: CCAHG1RLW236.
                        A complaint was registered by me in SBI and CCAvenue about the failed transaction. Accordingly, the two institutions have confirmed that the payment was completed and the amount is reflected in merchant account. But till date i haven't got the refund from Air Vistara.

                        Copy of the E-mail and sms reply of the institutions are attached herewith for reference.

                        Hence, it is requested to do needful to refund my money at the earliest please.

                          I can't able to reschedule the date of my journey as there is no direct flight.
                          Even after changing destination and origin I am not getting any direct flight only Connecting flight is there . So indirectly I can't utilize my money that means they are indirectly forcing us to leave our money. I can't afford connecting flight.

                            Pnr nos. Kxvaue & kx2d8f - vistara airlines

                            I received a message for rescheduling tickets to december 2020 which were booked in feb 2020 from delhi to leh and return, originally scheduled to travel in may 2020.

                            Due to the current scenario which no one could predict when it will end, it may not be possible to could make this trip by december 2020 as most of the tourism spots are closed due to covid-19, and there are elderly persons and kids as leh would be very cold in december.

                            I request the vistara authorities to refund the ticket costs without any deduction.

                            If refund is not possible, kindly reschedule the travel date to may 2021.

                              On 5-8-20 i did a booking for my flight uk902 from mumbai to delhi scheduled on 7-8-20 i did the complete payment and procedure on vistara website my money got deducted but instead of getting a ticket i got a mail saying that i have to contact the company payment office for the matter and the site is not showing my information at all it says that i didn't even booked a flight. I also contacted the vistara air help but no response from there.
                              Please look into this matter it's a straight up fraud going on.

                                My pnr k9tozk for a flight from bangalore to mumbai for 15th august 2020 was canceled due to covid-19 as per what the vistara customer care executive told me.in fact i had booked the flight on july 1st which was definitely after airline lockdown lifted. Right now all airlines are giving full refund option (Earlier to this i had a booking with air asia and whatever reasons they had cancelled the flight for, they gave me full refund). This is definitely not the customer's fault but a full refund option was not given to me and i was forced to change the ticket to an open ticket with vistara and the timeline i was provided was 31st march 2020 this would mean that even if i die i will have to travel within this timeline so this money that i have paid gets utilised. When i spoke on saturday i was told that a full refund option will be provided, until saturday the flight cancellation was due to operational reasons and on monday it became covid so the airlines do not have to refund the money to the customer. Vistara flights are already expensive and making this an open ticket they proved how low private airlines can get. When the indian government has clearly told all flights need to be refunded if the cancellation is happening due to covid, vistara is using their own marketing strategies to make customers using their own # services with a timeline hanging. Is this not against government guidelines?

                                    Respected sir/madam,


                                    I would like to draw your kind attention towards shoddy service of airline operators and how nonchalantly they play with consumers hard earned money with literally no accountability.
                                    Sir i had booked an air travel ticket from delhi to goa and back for my travel dates 01 april 2020 to 4th april 2020 via clear trip booking site with reference trip id[protected]. The total cost of my fare was rs 33, 524/- and the receipt of the fare is attached below. The air tickets were booked by spicejet 8171 from new delhi (Del) to goa (Goi) for travel date 1st april 20 and vistara 848 from goa (Goi) to new delhi (Del) for travel date 4 th april 20 for four passengers namely. Priti mehra, saurabh mehra, prapti mehra and himani shali.
                                    1. When the lockdown was declared by our hon’ble prime minister on 22nd of march 2020, i cancelled my trip on 23rd march 2020 taking a proactive call on widespread pandemic and as a law abiding citizen adhering to guidelines laid down by goi for prohibiting travels. After incessant requests both to airlines and travel agent, i have only received an amount of rs 3236/- out of my total fare amount of rs 33, 524/- eating away my hard earned money of rs 30, 288/-. I may please submit my complaint
                                    2. That the airline companies instead of showing humanitarian virtues, is rather seeing these challenging times as an opportunity to extract unlawful gains from the people who are already in misery due to uncertainties. That the present policy is extremely harsh on the ordinary passengers who book tickets in advance for travelling. That airlines has given evasive answers and are refusing to give the entire refund and has thus caused mental torture and harassment to the applicants, and is a deficiency in service. Hence the applicants are not only entitled to the entire refund of the tickets amount, but also to interest and costs.
                                    3. That the action on the part of airlines instead of providing the full refund of the amount collected for the tickets due to cancellation, providing a credit shell, valid upto one year, is clearly in violation of the civil aviation requirement issued by the directorate general of civil aviation (Dgca) which clearly states that “the option of 17 holding the refund amount in credit shell by the airlines shall be the prerogative of the passenger and not a default practice of the airline.
                                    Below are the extracts from civil aviation requirements section 3 – air transport series‘m’, part ii issue i, dated 22 may, 2008 which clearly highlights-

                                    3. Requirements
                                    C) in case of purchase of ticket through travel agent/portal, onus of refund shall lie with the airlines as agents are their appointed representatives. The airlines shall ensure that the refund process is completed within 30 working days.

                                    D) the airlines shall refund all statutory taxes and user development fee (Udf)/airport development fee (Adf)/passenger service fee (Psf) to the passengers in case of cancellation/non-utilisation of tickets/no show. This provision shall also be applicable for all types of fares offered including promos/special fares and where the basic fare is nonrefundable.
                                    F) the option of holding the refund amount in credit shell by the airlines shall be the prerogative of the passenger and not a default practice of the airline.

                                    I) under no circumstances, the airline or its agent shall levy cancellation charge more than the basic fare plus fuel surcharge. This will exclude any charges levied by the travel agent, which have been fully disclosed at the time of booking. It shall be the responsibility of the airline to ensure this through their contracts with travel agents/portals.

                                    Request you to please direct the airline operators to refund my money.

                                        I've been struggling to get a response over my cancellation and refund for vistara. I've booked my tickets via third party called mytrip. Due to covid, the airline had cancelled my ticket and there is no refund.
                                        I have pnr rouimx, the airline is asking me to reach out to agent and the agent is asking me to reach out to vistara. I'm trying to get my refunds processed since 20 apr but no luck. This is most disgusting thing to be done as we are already struggling with money in lockdown and the companies are refusing to pay or process refunds
