Hi Team Vivo,
I have purchased Vivo X60 on August 2021 and it was working just fine till 30th July 2023. On the same day, I received a new software update notification and as usual I installed it. Just after installing the software, a green line suddenly appears on the screen and it's not going even after rebooting.
I visited nearest Vivo service center and they tried downgrading the software but still it is not working. Hence they suggested to change the display which will cost around Rs. 9.3k.
My phone is completely fine with no physical damage, only after this software update (provided by company) such problems are showing.
I am very annoyed with this. Being a Vivo customer for the first time, I haven't expected this from a reputed company like yours. This is really not acceptable.
Please resolve this issue at the earliest. Looking forward for your support in this, Team Vivo.

    My phone is completely fine with no physical damage and previously I didn't face any issue with it. Only after this software update (provided by company) such problems are showing.
    I am very annoyed with this. Even after buying flagship phones at such costly price, I have to pay for the screen replacement even if it is not my fault. In this way, you will be losing your valuable customers. Being a Vivo customer for the first time, I haven't expected this from a reputed company like yours. This is really not acceptable.
    Please resolve this issue at the earliest. Looking forward for your support in this.

        I am using Vivo x70 pro for last 1.5 years but after the last software update a green line started appearing on right side of the screen. No physical damage in phone and no scratches as well. I bought this premium phone to use it for atleast 3-4 year and it just 1.5 years I am using.
        Hoping a resolution for this issue after the software update.

          I have been using Vivo X70 pro for the last 1 .5 years and after a software update as recommended by the phone, After updating suddenly a green line appeared on my phone from top to bottom. There is no physical damage in phone. Even no scratches at all. I bought this phone for RS: 44000 & after 1.5 years only I have used This is not all acceptable.

          I need a solution to this. resolve this at the earliest

            Bought X60 in August 2021 and since then it has been performing flawlessly. But all of a sudden a green line appeared on the display after a system update.
            After twitting this issue, Vivo India team requested me to visit Service Center. As per their suggestion I visited to Chowringhee Kolkata Service Center, 3 Flr Anar Chamber BN Sarkar Sarani Chowringhee Ab. Canara Bank Nr Hotel Majestic Kolkata WB 700072.
            One technician, whose Id is 7348, checked my phone and informed this issue can be fixed only on chargeable basis.
            Technician told since I have a dent at the plastic panel, the resolution will be on chargeable. I told him that it got dent after 10 months of purchase, but the line appeared last month.Inspite of knowing that the issue was caused by a software glitch and many users reported the same across PAN India, still they are refusing to fix it for free.
            They said company is replacing display only on the phones with no physical damage and liquid spillage.
            It is really very disappointing and not acceptable at all. why should I pay 9K to fix an issue which occurred due a software bug? is this how Vivo fixes issues? I do not expect any fix on my dent part but the issue which occurred due to update.

              Unhappy with my recent Vivo software update, as it caused a green line on the display from top to bottom! @Vivo_India, I visited your service center, and they asked for a whopping 12, 000 INR to replace the display due to the software glitch! This isn’t my fault; your update caused the problem. My phone is just 1.5 years old, and they refuse to replace it due to minor scratches on my phone. Seriously?                   In showroom service centre there is no display available in pimpri Pune branch, in my cellphone Vivo x60 I got lining of green colour after update, I went to service centre they told me that there is no display against that will give another phone.( Vivo v 25 ) i bought my phone in 40000 so why should it go in less price of 20, 000 i want a refund of 40000 or give me a solution or give me another phone any X series

                    Green line appeared on display of Vivo X60 after a software update. Went to the service centre, they are saying nonsense that my device has a bend on the display and which is not even visible to naked eye and tagged my device for having "Physical damage" just to not give a free screen replacement. They know that the green line is because of the software update but are still asking me to pay for the screen. Why do I have to pay for your mistakes? I mean to use my phone properly I have to pay another 7k rupees that too without any fault of mine. This is just ridiculous. I am seriously disappointed in vivo and considering how they're handling this issue by denying their customers of their rights is just triggering. If you want your customers to have better feedback and choose vivo again you need to look into this issue seriously and provide us with free replacements

                      Green Line suddenly appeared on Vivo X60 after a software update. Went to service center and they are speaking nonsense that there is a small bend on the display which is not even visible with naked eye, just to prevent giving a free display to a damage less body. They also know that the green line occurred due to software update but are asking me to pay for the display. Why do I have to pay for your mistakes? It's a humble request for Vivo to look into this matter because if you can't makeup for your mistakes you will never reach to the levels of OnePlus or Samsung

                        I am writing to bring to your attention an issue that I have been facing with my Vivo X60PRO smartphone, which I purchased approximately 2 years ago. Recently, I updated my phone's software, and following the update, a green line has appeared on the screen.

                        Upon researching this matter further, I discovered that many Vivo X60 users have encountered the same issue after updating their devices and raised complaints on Twitter as well.

                        In light of this information, I shared details with twitter team of Vivo India who guided me to visit the service center as I am having most updated OS in the phone upon the visit, the service center located in Hyderabad, Telangana yesterday to seek resolution for my phone's display problem. However, the service center representative denied my request and insisted that I pay ₹13, 500 for a screen replacement. The phone does not have any physical damages as I have been using a very good phone case right from the day of purchase and no single complaint until last week's software update. However, the service center is not ready to rectify the issue though there is no fault on my side.

                        I am disheartened and confused by this response. I placed my trust in Vivo when I purchased this phone, and I believe that if a problem arises due to a software update, the responsibility lies with the manufacturer to address it without any additional cost to the customer. It is unfair for me to be held accountable for a display issue that clearly occurred as a result of the update and not because of the small dent on my phone.

                        I kindly request your immediate intervention in this matter. As a loyal customer, I sincerely hope that Vivo values its customers and their satisfaction. I trust that you will acknowledge the inconvenience caused and take the necessary steps to rectify the situation promptly.

                          When am using my phone a red line appeared on my phone totally disappointed this is second time it happened in same way only difference is first time it's green now it's red. I lost confidence on my phone. There is no physical damage to my phone not even a small spot in my phone. Am afraid on your software update. I tried a lot to late updates from Vivo because of this and always check in internet if any issue on that update. But literally it automatically updates to new version.

                              I am your vivo customer and I am using vivo x60 pro. This month I got a software update notification on my phone, so I updated my phone. After I update A green line appeared on the screen[protected]. Immediately i visited vivo service center[protected], They said it was a software problem.They said that we will change the display, but there is no present stock and it will arrive in 15 days.
                              Today[protected] vivo care people called me. They say display stock is not available, they said our company will give you a replacement v25 pro for your phone, its price is 30k but i purchased my Vivo x60 pro for Rs 50000/-.
                              So give me a quick display replacement or give me the same mobile or give me x series mobile.

                              My whole family is use vivo phone from last 15 years and first time I got this problem.
                              For your reference below i attach photos please check it.

                                Sir/Madam, I have been using Vivo X60 for the last 2 years and one week before I did a software update as recommended by the phone, After updating, suddenly a green line appeared on my phone from top to bottom. Yesterday 11th July, I visited the local vivo authorized service Centre ( Trivandrum ) - they also confirmed that the issue is with a software update & advised me to pay RS: 9300/- to replace the display. I told them that the problem is because of the software update provided by the company, so I am not ready to pay the amount. Then they checked & informs me that the company is replacing the display only on the phones with no physical damage. See my phone is 2 years old so there is small chipped off on the bottom side & no damage to the front glass. Highlighting this damage they are not willing to replace the display. This makes no sense to me. The phone display got affected by their software issue & now they are asking RS: 9300 from my side to resolve this issue. Kindly replace the display since its an issue caused due to software update.

                                  I have been using Vivo X60 for the last 2 years and two days back I did a software update as recommended by the phone, after updating suddenly a green line appeared on my phone from top to bottom.                                     Green line on display after system update on Vivo x60. This issue started after a system update provided 2 days earlier. After visiting service they said there is some dent and phone is bent due to which around 9300 amount would be required for changing the display of the phone. They are not looking into the issue that this started after the system update provided on phone. There were lot of customers in the same service centre with same issue. This is unacceptable after buying such na expensive phone the display gets damaged by a system update provided by them after 1.5 years.

                                      I am using Vivo X60 since 2 years and this is the 2nd time my phone has got green line again first time it cost me 9300rs and after 6-7 months the same problem came after updating. this mistake is happening from the side of the company, then the screen should also be replaced free of cost. The entire mistake is from the side of the company and this is not acceptable. We cannot pay 9300 every year even if it is not our fault.

                                        My handset is vivo x60 pro plus and i updated yesterday to latest version of software and after some time i was normally using and browsing then suddenly green line on the right of the screen appears and it is still there then i search it to google and what i know that there are so many users whose mobile cross 1.5 years and they updated and it happens so i think vivo is done it intentionally to force the user to buy their parts it is very irritating from them this is not acceptable
