hi,
This is shahrukh memon here i had given my loop number to convert it to vodafone postpaid the executive of vodafone came took the document took the money and its been a month but the number is not yet ported.when i call vodafone they just say that you will get a call in 24hrs but nothing really happens.i even hav the reciept given by vodafone and the sim card the name of the executive who gave the connection is pooja waagle . i m very fed up with this kind of service of vodafone thought that the vodafone service is better than loop but think its all the same.please do the needfull.

    Vodafone — un necessary balance deduction

    sir i m using a vodafone prepaid no ([protected]) from last 2 months. since then i m facing a problem in that. automatically my balance got deducted from my phone. first time my 30 rs got cut due to activation of some mcl pack and next time again 30 rs got cut due to astro pack to which i have never given the request to activate. recently my 45 rs got cut due to activation of caller tune. when i call customer care they dont give me full information and everytime i hear a new excuse. now u tell what to do. i really got very tensed about that. i want the whole explanation fast otherwise you will be responsible for the consequences.

    when i enquired from there customer care cell they told me. that you have downloaded a pack of 99 rs two times whicjh i have not .
    so please look in the matter..because without downloading any thuing ..the company is charging me Rs.205

    On the 16th of July Vodafone deducted am amt of Rs.12 from my balance when I called a Vodafone no. even though I had Vodafone Free minutes. Constant calls to the Helpline only fetched me false promises from their executives including the manager Kapil that the amt will be refunded to me within 48hrs. On 23rd July I got a call from them stating that I will not get a refund. I have lost all trust in them. I guess they should change their tagline to Happy to Cheat.

    this is violation of consumer rights,we must be provided either full srvs,for what we have made payment or we should we compensate in any means.
    2ndly still sms pack of 500 sms daily is being sold out by these company specially airtel,wether trai has restrected it not more then 100 daily.

    My name is Shravan Tirumalai, and i have to lodge a complaint against vodafone mobile service provider as they , without any subscription deducted 5 rupees per day from my balance for last 10 days , of there happy2help service , i always recieved an sms saying that and i qoute " your subscription for re.1 store pack has been renewed and rs 5 has been deducted. And when i called , they refused to take it as their own fault and said , the service was subscribed through internet and i did not do it and they also refused to pay the money back they deducted , so i kindly request you to please take an action against it so that i could get those 50 rupees back plus the compensation the company can offer me

    Sir, This is my first day with Vodafone. I have just ported in today. I had placed a complaint regarding unnecessary balance deduction. Complaint number "[protected]". The customer care executives were not answerable to me eventhough i call six times a day. The only reply given to me was that "our system is not showing any updates". Over and above this my calls are barred to 198 and 111. I am very dissatisfied with your customer assistance on the very first day. There was an deduction of RS 45 at 16:20 on 5th April 2012. I request you to take immediate action regarding the above mentioned complain.

    my mobile number is [protected]..i use gprs 98 card for browsing every month..my last recharged gprs vard validity ended on 30th july and on 31st at 10:12am i called upon to the customer care and a lady named lucky recieved my call and explained me how to recharge my gprs account through my main balance(*444*98#) she also said that it will take 1 hour to get activated and at 10:21am i followed her instruction that is *444*98# for recharging my gprs account.before sending the request for gprs activation my balance was rs.390/- and after sending the request for gprs my balance came to (390-98=)rs.292.according to the information i got from moss lucky my account will get activated within 1 hr.that comes on to 11:21am,at around 11:30am i checked my balance which showed that my main balance is rs.292 and gprs account wras activated nd balance showed 1024mb.after 1 hr that is 12:45pm i started browsing,inbetween after 10 mins a ussd running msg displayed on my screen showing that my balance is being deducted by rs.292. and my balance comes to rs.0. at 01:01pm i called upon to customer care a lady named sunita received my call and i querred about my balance deduction,in reply she said that my balance has been deducted for continous use of gprs from 8:10am.thereafter some time i again called uppn to customercare at01:28pm.the call was received by mr.soumya i narrated the same matter to him,in reply he said that the informqtion given to me by miss sunita was wrong and iacttually started browsing at 12:45pm but not at 8:10am.and the balance which has been deducted from my account will be refunded within 24 hrs. today on 01.08.2012 till 02:25pm i haven't received my balance nor got a call from the customer care executive.
    A balance deduction of rs 35 was done on my vodafone no. claiming activations of biscoot.com on 22nd oct. even though i never activated any such service. on contacting customer care they said that the amoutn cannot be refunded and they apologise and they told me the deactivation code following which i deactivated the service
    later the same day rs 15 were deducted twice for some ani download as claimed by dialling *111# and checking last 3 charges. customer care did not help again
    today again rs 35 and then rs 15 were charged when i did not use any service and performed no downloads
    such fraudulent balance deduction is really frustating
    a combined of rs 115 have been deducted last week alone and it is not the first time it is happening
    please take some action against such deductions and give a refund o the suffering customers failing which you might have migrate to other networks

    I agree with whatever Kavya Vidhyarthi has said. This biscoot.com site does not provide any great service for which a consumer would spend Rs 5 daily for some petty wallpaper or ringtone.

    I have experienced the same today and have lost about 50 rupees without downloading anything.
    Vodafone quit this daylight robbery of customers and refund the money as soon as possbile
    This just happened to me ...same situation mine is prepaid ..they deducted Rs. 35 and message from them says:

    Hello!biscoot.com pack is now active on your number, as requested.This service is valid till[protected] and a 7 days rental of Rs 35 has been deducted. Your current Balance post service activation is Rs 8.689. To Deactivate send Can biscoot to 111 / 144 (toll free)

    I don't know what kind of fraud is this...in the same way customer care people were not helping and trying to convince me that i have activated the service from internet that i didnt.

        I had recently visited U.S. and was carrying sim card of vodafone india no. [protected] , to keep in touch with my contacts and banks etc. with sufficient balance.
        However, Since last few days I have started getting the error message “Sim card Registration failed”.

        Plz. note I have been using this sim card for about a decade now and did not expect such rewards.
        Plz. do help, advise the reason for the same, etc. and please enable re-registration immediately and activate it at the earliest.

              vodafone has charged me against data usage while I had activated 98 rs pack on my number but thay send around 5000 bill against that data usage.
              While I had confirmed twice with customer care and they said that you will get benifits on the said pack.

              now they send itemized bill which says that i had used Vodafone Mobile Connect and vodafone live and sometime connection was from Vodafone Mobile Connect and some time by vodafone live. now how it is possible and they are unable to explain that thing

              so please help

                        Hi,

                        The worst network i ever used is Vodafone. My network disconnects every 15 mins nearly i have made around 15 times calls to customer care.

                        1st solution provided by them is to change my SIM card, which should be my last option. After i explained them dozens of time finally they found their

                        is some issue network and logged complaint on 30.10.2012 but still no one responded. My monthly bill wound be normally Rs.400 to Rs.800. I have

                        activated GPRS which cost 1 GB Rs.98 per month.Vodafone postpaid don't have have any option to check MB used, only option they provide is to

                        check with customer care. Customer care executives will not have update for current date, he will have one days before update.

                        They are finding possible way to take money from customers. My monthly Vodafone bill wound be around Rs. 400 to Rs.600. This month it

                        crossed around Rs.2800, reason provided by them is i have used i have used 250 MB which cost 1MB=10rs. I have checked with customer

                        executive on 29.10.2012 he informed that i have used 1GB 2 MB, so it wound cost 25 rupees extra, after 29.10.2012 i haven't used gprs itself since i

                        crossed 1 GB, but after bill generation i found the cheating.

                        Vodafone is like this Everywhere..
                        My friend working in Bangalore is also facing the same problem for three months. Vodafone Customer Care is worst in resolving Network Issue other than giving the message "This will be rectified in a week time"..I think Vodafone Customer Support don't have any contact with the RF Department to resolve Coverage issues of Customers. If they have contact then its not such a big issue for Vodafone to launch a Tower or atleast a Booster for resolving Coverage issues.
                        Don't know why such a great GSM player Vodafone is like this. They might be still serving with old equipments of BPL and Hutch.
                        Everyone is waiting for Number Portability which'll launch in an Year..(hope so;-) ) .
                        Come on Vodafone, Show Your GSM Leadership...

                        Vodafone — Worst Coverage

                        The world leader in Mobile communication technology (that is what they says) former hutch (Now ''Vodafone;;) who's network is pathetic in the major cities. Iam living heart of the city in kochi since my area (tripunithura) is well covered by all other network including All major GSM& CDMA networks including the new comer Virgin mobile... Since I had complained escalated everywhere. Same word from last one year '' This will be rectified with in 2 weeks time''. Dont trust the network and their words (Happy to Help You) means happy to disturb you and we will not help you again. Iam admitting the fact that their call centre is somewhat improved and iam happy with their interaction ... As far as a common cell phone user the basic need is to get connect the call with proper coverage (At least in Major Metro cities) and least call drop. The company is not focusing the basic needs of customers. They are more focused in giving add on service (The marketing of their products like Caller tunes, call conference etc ...

                        As Iam happy with the TRAI decision that 'the number compatibility' is going to introduce in India. ''Well done'' . This will be benifited to all who is unhappy with the operators. One more good news The IP Phone is introduced... Once more well done...Keep it up TRAI
                        I am not able to send sms since the past 7 days. i have tried to contact vodafone customer care for the past 6 days, and everytime assured that the problem will be solved in few hours. i have talked to various customer care executives mr.vikrant, mr.sushant, ms.sneha kulkarni and others who time and again said that the complaint has been launched, but neither i was sent the complaint no. nor the problem has been looked after. this attitude of such a renowned service provider company is really very depriciating. and i still don't know till when i have to face this problem.

                        I don't know how to remove the complaint from this board anyway, the Vodafone Cellular people served me like anything after creating this blog ( I guess). Initially they provided/helped by giving network booster installed and right after 60 days they strengthen their network in tripunithura area. So Iam getting proper coverage everywhere ... Also Iam sure about the Customer care they really rocks. Because I had called almost all other Customer care in kerala. Difference is professionalism.. and happy helping Once gain vodafone Rocks...

                            I m using Vodafone([protected]) Internet Blackberry Plan 399 which is unlimited downloading and Uploading Plan. But since two days I m noticing that my Internet is not working properly and when it works a bit, my balance starts deducting at quick interval. I have called Vodafone care (rekha,ajay ,sachin,madhu,mohsin etc)for more than 7-8 times on 198 but every time the person gives different foolish reasons. I have request many time to transfer my call to senior but the senior are also not listening to me , they pretend that its my fault every now and then. Even I visited Blackberry service center as per they said but nothing happened as Blackberry person said this complain is not from our side contact Vodafone care, So i visited Vodafone care Store in Santacruz W and met Vijay their, He saw my mobile and did some configuration and said now I guarantee you that your balance will not be deducted in future. Never the less as I left the Vodafone care office ,just after half an hour again my balance started deducting. I m fed up .Now the Vodafone care 198 are not ready to talk to me properly and even they are not ready to take down my complain.
                            I hope my request will be entertained soon.

                                  I am facing serious problem in getting the mobile network signal inside my home. I had to come out of my house to Open Area to get the signal. It caused inconveniences during night times and very risky for others.

                                      Worst experience having Vodafone Service.

                                      Vodafone has automatically activated GPRS Service without my confirmation and has been charging me for the last 3 months.

                                      When I called Vodafone Customer Service Call Center which is located at Andheri to enquire about the charges applied for the GPRS service I was informed that this service was activated on 30th June by Anil (Agent who took the call) and on further questioning that how did the GPRS service get activated on my connection he had no answer to give and said that the systems are not updated so cannot tell me that and will transfer the call to the supervisor.

                                      The call was kept on hold for 20 mins and then disconnected by the agent from Vodafone. So I called again and spoke to Bharath told him the entire story all over again and he also did not have answer to my question and again transferred the call to the supervisor. I told him very clearly that you will not my call on hold because you people disconnect the call after sometime. My words fell on deaf ears and still put me on hold to transfer the call to the supervisor, this time I was on hold for 12 mins and again the same thing the call was disconnected.

                                      I called for the third time and spoke to Paresh and told the entire story to him all over again as there were no notes by the previous agents as what was the call about. They only mentioned that the call was disconnected while transferring the call to the supervisor. Paresh informs me that this service may have got activated by mistake, which such a silly answer is given. To get this service activated either you have to give a request over the phone to the customer service agent or send an SMS then how come this service was activated and also charged me for it.
                                      Paresh then took the responsibility of arranging the call back within 4 hrs from the supervisor/Manager and gave me the reference number[protected].

                                      However I have not received the call back yet and it is more that 48hrs now. This was done again to avoid my call because they did not have answer to my questions asked.
                                      Vodafone is not at all happy to help as it says in its ads. No one at Vodafone is responsible enough to handle this issue.

                                      They just trying to run away from the situation and charge me for the service which I have never requested for.
                                      Vodafone charges 0.50p/3min to call customer service and provide no help other than disconnected the calls so that the customer calls again and again so that they revenue from that.

                                      This was extremely disgusting experience with Vodafone and I will now tell people about this experience so that you do not get customers to harass like this.

                                      It was completely waste of time and money by calling Vodafone Customer Service.

                                      I hope some action to be taken after this at least

                                      Vodafone India — Charging for GPRS

                                      Hi,

                                      Every time i start browsing internet they charge me for every usage, even though i will be having free data usage. I spoke to a customer care executive regarding the same and he cross verified and said yes it was a mistake from vodafone and he gave me the reference number[protected] and asked me to call back after sometime. When i called them the very next time the concerned supervisor (SHREEDEVI) and her manager (Sherine) said its a mistake from my side. That too the supervisor (Shreedevi) behaved too rudely and said i cannot help and in fact threaten me saying do what ever you want i know how to handle it. Till now i have been charged more than 20 Rupees and more over they dont know how to treat a customer. VODAFONE says " WE ARE HAPPY TO HELP YOU", what does that really mean to them. My concern is please refund my amount and don't take a action on concerned persons.
