Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to you with reference to my Idea mobile number [protected]. It is extremely disappointing to express my grievances against telephone majors like Vodafone. I had visited your Ascendas store Chennai for porting in to your network on September the 15th and was assured that I would be migrating to your network within 7 working days.

I waited until September 24th and finally decided to revisit the same store (a good 15km from my place of work) only to be reassured that it will be done by Friday (Sept 21st). I had to forgo half a day pay for the purpose but still your staff was not courteous enough to understand my difficulties. I requested them to provide me a contact number so that I could reach out if the porting is not done by Friday (which I am sure would not happen considering that I have received no SMS citing confirmation), thereby avoiding 15km of travel and another pay cut. The staff declined to provide me any contact number.

All said and done, I am still hopeful that you would consider the matter with greater importance and strive to deliver based on promise made by your staff.

Note: I have migrated the same number innitially from Vodafone to Tata Docomo to Idea Cellular, only to be back with VODAFONE.

    Dear Sir,


    I am R.Madheswaran my mobile no [protected]...operator Vodafone.Last 6 year using same no with Vodaphone.
    My due date is every month 30th...But before that my connection bared,due to credit limit over...
    *no out going calls
    *no incoming calls
    *not able to contact customer care....
    *data connectivity stop...monthly Rental Rs.99/-

    my plan is 599..i have some 3000 free calls...that amount will be detected when bill generate...

    Totally Rs.740/-paying montly rental...

    I am regularly paying my bill arround Rs.1100/- to Rs.1200/- monthy last 2 years,some time before due date or some time after due date,for that they are charging late payment Rs.100/- I am paying that too.....

    From today afternoon my connection bared,not able to contact customer care.I am sales person how can do my business last 6 yrs using same no....mean while if anyone contact at that its showing as switch off...

    Last 2 month same issue...

    So I request you to support and guide me for face legal with consumer court for following questions?

    1.how can they bared my incoming calls before due date?
    2.how put voice as my switch off when bared?
    3.No way to contact customer care...
    4.what is the use of monthly rental without incoming calls ,without data connection?
    5.I have lot of free mins and free 1000 sms.that charge will be leived during bill generate?Who will bare this and my mental pressure...

    please guide me anyone....

    Vodafone — incoming is stopped

    i have submited complain before 2 weeks that my sim card is out servics ...then it start works but after 10 day it again stopped ...now i can call from this number but i can recive any call...please solve my problem [protected]...and this is my another number if you want to contact me [protected]

      Hi,

      Iam using vodafone for past 5 years with totally 6 connections, I got bill for my number [protected] & bill amount of 4265, where total internet charges is 3,480 we had not used any internet through mobile on calls and sms apart from that when we are not used it got charged for the 3,480. We are not affortable to make the payment for internet charges which we are not used. I already given a complaint to the vodafone, but no action was taken on that. When iam having BSNL unlimited internet usage at my home, why i should use my mobile with charges i need to use. please help me on this to get waiver for the internet charges.

        For the past few months I am getting fraudulent SMSes on my mobile phone from several nos.
        When I called back, to my surprise I found that all nos. were of VODAFONE and were switched off.
        Then I came to know that the origin of VODAFONE is from UK and then I rechecked my SMSes to confirm
        all the SMSes offered me huge sums in UK Pounds.
        This clearly shows the that its none other than VODAFONE itself who is sending these fraudulent SMSes,
        I appeal to the forum and our country INDIA to ban these kind of fraud companies.

        Nos. from which I got SMSes are : [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected]
        The messages said "YOUR MOBILE NUMBER HAS WON L850000.00 GBP & ONE BMW X6 AWARD 2012 HELD IN UK, TO CLAIM YOUR PRIZE, SEND NAME, AGE, ADDRESS & MOBILE NUMBER VIA EMAIL :[protected]@bmw.co.uk.tc

        I am Anil Babarao warkad My Mobile No [protected]. I have enjoining
        corporate Plan 149 but last 3month i have adding STD49 service
        without any concern to adding this plan i have no idea about this plan
        and i cancel today this plan.

        Please Reimburse me for last three month amount for i have already
        paid in bill kindly reply this mail as a acknowledgment for my knowledge.

          I had a missed call from a unknown number ([protected]) originating from pakistan as the ISD code suggests so. I have heard about such fraudulent activity going on. Could you please bar all calls on my no. coming from Pakistan?

          This number is disturbing me since many days [protected].. THe guy is using vulgar languages and trying to abuse me.. please help

I have read that these scammers have a lot of ways to find out information about their victims. I hate to become a victim of ID theft or something like that. Can you help me stop these calls? Is there any way to block all scam calls in advance??
          Although I haven't really spoken to these callers, I'm sure they were scammers. I looked up the phone number and I found out that it's been associated to this so-called Lottery scam and been reported to different websites such as www.callercenter.com.

          So having proved that the calls were indeed fraudulent, can you help block them? Or can I file a complaint?

            Vodafone Prepaid Service in Orissa is seriously pathetic. The Customer Service my Orissa's prepaid connection received is deplorable. Internet connectivity 'EDGE' service is lost in the beginning of each Refill cycle.

            This issue has been redundant since last 6 months, probably a small technical glitch, but Vodafone seems to be least concerned after my repeated pleas. The Customer Service (whether it is outsourced or their own), treats customers as Gossip and time-consuming pests. The most unprofessional customer-service ever experienced, with –

            1) Extended TAT is a practice for them.

            2) Delay in response is neither acknowledged nor apologized (the customer has to call back to know the status, they do not respond from their end).

            3) No idea if call history is documented, each single time the customer calls back with the same issue, he has to narrate the entire scenario from the scratch.

            4) The technical team that is off after 6 PM, ridiculous!! Biggest market player and its technical team is said to be out of office post 6 PM, this is as per the stated by the customer service.

            5) Technical team can give you a call back relating to any technical issue only after 72 HOURS!! So, till then just curse your faith, no response before that even if you are facing the same issue for the past 6 months.

            6) The liaison between Technical Team and the Customer Service Agents is very poor. Even if an literate customer requests to get his call transferred for a technical issue (recurring for over 6 months even) that can be better explained to a Technical professional, it's not a possible task here - Courtesy - Task schedule of the Technical Agents.

            Lots of my friends have Vodafone connections at Bangalore and are more than satisfied by the Customer Service and connectivity there. They say and even I have experienced it really matches International Standards. But it is still a mystery to understand why the service at Orissa is contrary to the company's repute, may be because the connection is just an insignificant PREPAID Connection (not a Corporate or Postpaid one with Lump sum revenues). Well how does matter even if you loose a single prepaid connection as mine quite insignificant it seems!!

                Hi,

                I am Anand from Chennai. My mobile number is [protected] and the complaint number I am talking about below is [protected].

                I had registered a complaint regarding charge dispute as mentioned in the subject and it was pending till today afternoon, well past the specified ETA and all of a sudden, it shows up as resolved without me getting any sort of intimation regarding the resolution so far. Further to add to my woes, i am not able to connect through to 198 or 111 which tells me my request cannot be processed.

                This is a very serious glitch in the customer service which has been excellent so far and in a couple of days lost all it's credibility. I would like to highlight here that I shifted to Vodafone ending a 6 year relationship with my previous carrier for a similar incident where the service suddenly fell flat.

                I have been told constantly whenever i inquired in the month of September by the customer care executives that I am in Nokia Lumia Promotional Data Offer for the period of Aug 20 to Sep 19th (I particularly remember a call made on 9/10 of sept when they confirmed the same to me) even, the last time of my inquiry being 20th September who confirmed the same to me. But, all of a sudden, I find being completely billed for the data usage without any plan being applied. The plan, I was told, was activated for me on 24th May and will end after 4 billing cycle, the cycles being
                24th May to 19th June,
                20th June to 19th July,
                20th July to 19 Aug,
                20th Aug to 19 Sept
                which means that any data usage for the period should be based on the plan and not on direct one to one billing (10 P per 10 KB). That was not the case for the last mentioned period and I ended up getting a bill of 821 and odd for data usage which should have been free as it was within the limits (I have used 0.08 GB in the period when I was told 2 GB was the limit per month). If the billing was not enough to distress me, the number of calls I had to make to sort things out and the number of calls I tried without being able to get through from Yesterday is even more cumbersome and painful (Have I been blocked from making Customer service calls?).

                I want this issue resolved amicably and I need you guys to call me ASAP to let me know on the status and the resolution of the issue. I am giving pretty serious thoughts of getting out of Vodafone if this is the way the customer is getting treated by you guys.

                  Please be informed that the Vodafone Mobile Connect service has been deactivated on 18 August 2012. We have processed a reversal on 21 September 2012 for the usage charges of 17 August 2012. We regret to inform that we will not be able to process any more reversals as the charges are valid.

                      I am surprise to get to know that in case vodafone customer wants to contact vodafone store then customer has to visit that store only because Vodafone customer care dont have Vodafone store email/ contact details with them.
                      I am asking Vodafone Store contact details at Baner, Pune to vodafone customer care and they are saying we dont have email address/contact details for that vodafone outlet. Customer care is helpless for this.

                          I submitted a valid ID & Address proof with Vodafone Staore at Nanganallur, Chennai. However when I checked with Customer care about my connection problem they are telling that I have to submit proof again. Why are they so careless and asking to submit the proof again and again.

                          And I called the nodal office at [protected] to complaint, he also frequently disconnecting his call and switching off his mobile.

                          This is should happen for any one, once we submit it's the Company's (Vodafone) responsibility to take care all. I heared many of them have facing this kind of problem. It's unnecessarily a harrasment and increasing unwanted stress on human. Everyone is having their own problem, don't create this kind of issues by not doing your duty.

                          Need a solution immediately.

                            I am a Vodafone 2G user. I called customer care for HOW TO ACTIVATE 98 1GB DATA USE PLAN FROM MY MAIN BALANCE so they tell me you can dial *444*98# to activate this plan. But unfortunately by mistake I dialed *444*95# and my 95 rupees deduct and 300 MB 3G data plan is activated so without any delay I call them back and explain my problem so they told me they can't stop these plan and they can not be refund my balance I talked to senior customer care too but he replies same thing to me.

                            But there moto is HAPPY TO HELP and they always says we can refund your your balance if you deactivate any plan within 24 hours.


                            Why this things happen when my SIM is not 3g its 2g then why 3g plan is activated even by mistake
                            My city have no 3g network toO
                            Why they not refunding me my money when its possible!

                            Vodafone — Happy to Help?????

                            I called the customer care today for a simple query. All I wanted was the stupid messages that I get to stop. To start with I had to try close to 10 times to reach an executive which took me 45 mins. Once I reach the first executive (Chaitanya), he requested me to call a toll free number (1909) for the messages to stop. When I enquired if he could do that as I had already spent 45 mins on the phone, he denied upright and said its not possible. The best part of this interaction was he never had time to listen to what I had to say. He just wanted me to listen to him.
                            As I had no choice I called the number given and land up in the prepaid division and got transferred to the post paid department. Here I got an opportunity to talk to Harsha. He gave me a different resolution altogether. Not satisfied with the resolution I requested for a supervisor. But hey the supervisor are always busy and do not have time for the customer. I wonder what are they busy with. The call was transferred and I think there has been some problem with their internal lines as every time the line is transferred to a supervisor the line gets disconnected.
                            I tried again and this time I had Vinay on line. The call started with their punch line “I am here to help you”. But sadly the help was too far away. I requested for a supervisor again and again the call got transferred and disconnected.
                            I tried again and had Srikanth ( Emp ID 250879 – that’s what he said it is. I am not sure though). I requested for the supervisor upfront. Hmmmm guess what happened next. The call was transferred and disconnected again.
                            I wonder what the supervisors do???

                              my self ankit. i am using my vodafone no. from the last 4 years regularly and my no. is [protected]. i call customer care regarding some queries and the named baljeet singh pick up the call on may 2011 and they starts abusive with me without any reasons..i don't the accurate date but i[censored] see my complaints than than will will be able to the accurate date on when baljeet pick up my call. You can also check my call record to know that ehos mistake when ill call to talk. I call again and starts to register the complain for baljeet to take strict action on them... i am not satisfied with the vodafone care..and i want to stop vodafone services to provide its bad services to the customer.
                              please take proper action to the vodafone care...

                              Vodafone — customer care was abusive

                              my name is sindhu, i had a vodafone number mobile no;[protected], i lost the mobile with the simcard last saturday on the 08/01/2009, i had called into customer service on the same day at about 9:00 to inform about the same also i wanted to have the last dialled number which was dialled from tht sim as it was the number of my father.since i had lost the sim i had lost the contacts and i had to call him as he was in the hospital, i explained the sitauation to a aperson who could not help me, when i asked for a supervisor he just placed me on hold and transferred me to the post paid department who did not know what was happening and i had to explain the whole story again.he just was so rude and he told he cant help me and he will transfer my call back to the prepaid department as my number was a prepaid connection.i told him i have been transferred twice now i just want to speak to somebody in authority to express my dissatisfaction. he told he cant put me through to anyone and hung up. the next day when i called back again i spoke to another person name"Avinash" and he was so rude he was abusive and he told me why are u speaking to me hang up and then finaaly he hung up on me. i was very very upset with this sort of service i have received form the customer service, i ope this is being looked into and the relevant action is taken, i will not go with vodafone again i have switched to Airtel just because of teh customer service.

                                My sister a student of NITTE had purchased a sim from Vodafone on 11th August 2012. She had given all the documents properly. Hence her sim was activated properly without any issues. After more than a month on 19the Sep 2012 she recieved a SMS from Vodafone that your documents are not submitted. My sister rushed to the store from where she had purchased the SIM card. The store person replied "Madam I have sent all your documents. If I had not sent sent the SIM would have been closed within 48 hours."
                                The SIM's outgoing facility was barred on 21st Sep. She was forced to submit all her documents again. The phone's outgoing facilty remained disturbed for more than 30 hours.

                                The unnecessary trauma that she went through had for sure taken place from Vodafone End. If she had not submitted the documents her SIM would have locked much earlier. Vodafone guys lost the documents and why was my sister harassed? I asked the customer care before complaining and their reply was go ahead. Vodafone must be taught a lesson so that such problem does not takes place again.

                                    I have raised a complaint since the month of July and august and now again in September. However my issue remains unresolved. I did a top up of Rs34/- on Vodafone store for mob no: [protected], in order to get all my STD Calls @ 0.40p per min. But i never rec'd the benefits of the service. When I asked for refund, cs just raised complaint, every cs informed me that they will forward my complaint to concern dept, but its 2 months now, still its no where. Complaint no:[protected] for Rs34/- top up which I never received and [protected] for the extra balance reduction, which occurred bcoz of benefits not received of the same and due to which i was been charged 1.20p per min which is 3 times more that i paid.

                                    Over and above, whenever I called, to know the solution of the issue, CS rep i.e Sachin and other people, simply disconnected my call and have barred my services to 198.

                                    Its very shocking that such a big company is trying to make profits by fraud methods

                                        This is very serious issue. I have a connection of Vodafone company . they every day deducting My balance. they automatically active services on my no and start deducting balance . recently they active Vodafone competition pack and deducting Rs,5 per day . i have Rs.50 balance in my mobile and last night i have left only Rs.2.
                                        when i deactivate that service then again they activate that service and again start deducting balance. and when i call to customer care then they didn't give my money back. Please sir do something for this . This no is used by my mother . she didn't know how to dial no . than how she activate these type of services .Please Do some action against them i am very thankful to you ,
