I am using mobile connection of vodafone [protected] from last 4 years.
few months ago I received a call for conversion of my connection from prepaid to post paid.
I found the plans suitable to my usages. i convert my no. to postpaid.
after some days. I received another call from vodafone mohali for free add on postpaid connection.
then I get another no.[protected] for my electronics service engineer.
He was using the same for 2 months. he activate a gprs pack of rs 99 (1 gb )
Billing Cycle for this [protected] no. is 21 to 20 th of every month.
On 17august 2012 he checked his balance data via sms. he get reply:
"YOU HAVE CONSUMED 579.56 MB on this billing cycle" It means he left 444 MB Pending.
But the next day my no.[protected] is deactivated. (incomming + outgoing both)
When I approach the vodafone service we get reply that your "Connection is deactivated due to excess amount of bill. i.e. Rs.4250 due to usage of internet
the limit of no.[protected] is Rs.1500 AND PLAN is Rs.125
If the data usages is not included in the limt then by which rule my no. is deactivated

My no. is deactivated without any information before one day of billing cycle.
who is responsible for the loss of my work.....

Now i have decided to port my both no. in BSNL
Because i am also using another BSNL connection from 10 years.
and I am very happy with it......
After all Vodafone is not only mobile service provider in Punjab India

    Refer to my previous complaint. My vodafone account was deducted with rs.30/- for hello tunes which i am saying repeatedly that i have not at all activated. This is a strategy of company to malign its customers by deducting the amount. Kindly look into the matter.

    The mobile phone service providers are simply playing with the customers as there is no direct control of govt. machines over them. yesterday on 19 Sep 12 my no.[protected] was deducted with an amount of rs 15/- for a service called caller tunes which i neither subscribed nor want to subscribe. When i wanted to contact the contact numbers provided in the SMS i am getting a reply that u seems to have dialed a wrong number. It means there is no option left with me and my account is debited. kindly help me to solve the issue. Also the company to be warned for this type of mistakes. Thanking you.

        Sir,
        I am using vodafone services M [protected] (Ported number). I was using GPRS pack of Vodafone of Rs. 96 which got expire on 26/09/12 at 11.59Pm. Exactly after 10 minutes means at 12.10AM I have given request from my handset as *444*96# for activation of pack of Rs.96 for 1 GB data. I got a message at 12.11 AM that data pack have been activated on my handset (Apple Iphone4G). Immidiately I confirmed for Data balance, It was reflecting in data balance. I start surfing on my handset and At morning I noticed that Rs 195 have been deducted from my account. i called customer care they didnt give me appropriate answer. They replied me that i have been charged for DAta usage. I said that data was credited in my account after that how u can charged . They dont replied me correctly and said that May be ur previous data session was logined. Due to that u r charged from your main account balance, i said that this is ur system fault where is my fault. But they totaly denied me to give me refund. Sir plz help me as i have charged 96 for data pack and rs 195 for data usage. Where is justice?? If my pack was activated on 12.11AM than why i am being charged for after 12.11AM usage and if i asked them for how much data have been charged to me as standard rate 10paisa 10KB they replied that we have summary of only charges not data. Plz help me..

          i have two vodafone nos one for me no is [protected] another for my wife no [protected] last month i receive massages for that no.now my wife no is given to another customer how its possible i have submitted my address and id proof. the no is life time up to 2021. without information they changed to another person but the no is not in use months ago (my relations are call that no says your vodafone no is switched off) kindly replace the no to me as a long standing customer otherwise i have canceled my no also.

            Hello,
            I rcvd a legal notice from vodafone regarding non payment of the bill
            I have discontinued using vodafone postpaid service since july 12. I have two receipts for the same month.
            Before discontinuing the vodafone postpaid service and shifting to prepaid they tell us to pay the outstanding bill amount. If we dont, they dont accept our application. So how is it possible that my bill amount is not paid. Please look into the matter

            i have paid my first months bill of August 2012 on time and then my mobile went missing with the number [protected] and now i get an legal notice for not paying rs 768 as my bill, firstly i was using vodafone prepaid and one day your representative came and told me that you will get an gift because you have an five year old number etc he offered me a scheme of rs 300 with 1gb internet, 350sms and some talktime etc you people are so quick to send the sim but that fellow gave me all wrong information there was no free internet etc still i continued with it but unfotunately my mobile was lost and i now longer use that sim. I have just brought a new mobile 2 weeks back again took an new prepaid vodafone number that too gave me some problem had to go to the customer care so many times then lastly they gave me an new sim card with an new number i should be the one sending an legal notice to Vodafone. you people are a cheat

                  I live in Nerul, Navi Mumbai. I had complained about poor coverage of Vodafone in the area. I raised a complaint. Vodafone engineers did visit the area, checked the signal and confirmed of the poor quality. Then, I was promised for an action within 3 months. More than Six months past since, nothing has been done and several in the area are facing serious connectivity problem. Few quickly switched to other service providers already.

                  Vodafone,

                  Please send in your engineers in Sagar Darshan CHS, Sector 18, Nerul, Navi Mumbai and test the signal quality.

                  It is intermittent, call drops all the time, "Connection Error" message is a common phenomena, many have complained that they can't reach the Vodafone number.

                  You got to take an immediate action.

                    I have a Vodafone postpaid connection with the number [protected].

                    I had bought a Samsung Galaxy S3 about three months back with which a received an SMS about a 2GB data plan which i would have received free for two months.

                    This message was communicated to me by Vodafone. Last month my pack ran out and there was no phone Call/messgae/ email from Vodafone that my 3g pack will run out.

                    For this month bill i have charged a huge sum of 4000Rs just for 3g usage charges as I was not aware that I was charged under normal surfing rates.

                    I called up Vodafone Customer Care and they said, there is no such policy.

                    I have two points to be explained:

                    1) When Vodafone can send hundreds of messages for offer, why cant you inform me when my 3g pack is running out and there is some abnormality in my usage patterns.

                    2) It is not the question of whether I can pay the bill or not, it is the matter of ethics and how you handle your customers.

                    I feel cheated and miscommunicated.
                    I feel that if I have to pay the money anyhow, me and my friends would be moving to a new network altogether where I get a better customer service.

                      Dear Sir/Madam,

                      I am writing to you with reference to my Idea mobile number [protected]. It is extremely disappointing to express my grievances against telephone majors like Vodafone. I had visited your Ascendas store Chennai for porting in to your network on September the 15th and was assured that I would be migrating to your network within 7 working days.

                      I waited until September 24th and finally decided to revisit the same store (a good 15km from my place of work) only to be reassured that it will be done by Friday (Sept 21st). I had to forgo half a day pay for the purpose but still your staff was not courteous enough to understand my difficulties. I requested them to provide me a contact number so that I could reach out if the porting is not done by Friday (which I am sure would not happen considering that I have received no SMS citing confirmation), thereby avoiding 15km of travel and another pay cut. The staff declined to provide me any contact number.

                      All said and done, I am still hopeful that you would consider the matter with greater importance and strive to deliver based on promise made by your staff.

                      Note: I have migrated the same number innitially from Vodafone to Tata Docomo to Idea Cellular, only to be back with VODAFONE.

                        I am R.Madheswaran my mobile no [protected]...operator Vodafone.Last 6 year using same no with Vodaphone.
                        My due date is every month 30th...But before that my connection bared,due to credit limit over...
                        *no out going calls
                        *no incoming calls
                        *not able to contact customer care....
                        *data connectivity stop...monthly Rental Rs.99/-

                        my plan is 599..i have some 3000 free calls...that amount will be detected when bill generate...

                        Totally Rs.740/-paying montly rental...

                        I am regularly paying my bill arround Rs.1100/- to Rs.1200/- monthy last 2 years,some time before due date or some time after due date,for that they are charging late payment Rs.100/- I am paying that too.....

                        From today afternoon my connection bared,not able to contact customer care.I am sales person how can do my business last 6 yrs using same no....mean while if anyone contact at that its showing as switch off...

                        I am sales person how can do my business last 6 yrs using same no....So I lost my valuable customer due no switch message.So much mental pressure due to not able to contact customer care..How can i get new business...

                        Last 2 month same issue...

                        So I request you to support and guide me for face legal with consumer court for following questions?

                        1.how can they bared my incoming calls before due date?
                        2.how put voice as my switch off when bared?
                        3.No way to contact customer care...
                        4.what is the use of monthly rental without incoming calls ,without data connection?
                        5.I have lot of free mins and free 1000 sms.that charge will be leived during bill generate?Who will bare this and my mental pressure...

                        please guide me anyone....

                          Iam using vodafone for past 5 years with totally 6 connections, I got bill for my number [protected] & bill amount of 4265, where total internet charges is 3,480 we had not used any internet through mobile on calls and sms apart from that when we are not used it got charged for the 3,480. We are not affortable to make the payment for internet charges which we are not used. I already given a complaint to the vodafone, but no action was taken on that. When iam having BSNL unlimited internet usage at my home, why i should use my mobile with charges i need to use. please help me on this to get waiver for the internet charges.

                            For the past few months I am getting fraudulent SMSes on my mobile phone from several nos.
                            When I called back, to my surprise I found that all nos. were of VODAFONE and were switched off.
                            Then I came to know that the origin of VODAFONE is from UK and then I rechecked my SMSes to confirm
                            all the SMSes offered me huge sums in UK Pounds.
                            This clearly shows the that its none other than VODAFONE itself who is sending these fraudulent SMSes,
                            I appeal to the forum and our country INDIA to ban these kind of fraud companies.

                            The messages said "YOUR MOBILE NUMBER HAS WON L850000.00 GBP & ONE BMW X6 AWARD 2012 HELD IN UK, TO CLAIM YOUR PRIZE, SEND NAME, AGE, ADDRESS & MOBILE NUMBER VIA EMAIL :[protected]@bmw.co.uk.tc

                              Vodafone — Phone call from unknown number

                              This number is disturbing me since many days [protected].. THe guy is using vulgar languages and trying to abuse me.. please help
                              I have the same problem, too. The numbers seem to originate in Nigeria and I have learned that these scammers have a lot of ways to find out information about their victims. Can you help?
                              Hey, I have the same problem, too. I get calls from long phone numbers a lot and apparently, the numbers originate in Nigeria. I have read that these scammers have a lot of ways to find out information about their victims. I hate to become a victim of ID theft or something like that. Can you help me stop these calls? Is there any way to block all scam calls in advance??
                              Although I haven't really spoken to these callers, I'm sure they were scammers. I looked up the phone number and I found out that it's been associated to this so-called Lottery scam and been reported to different websites such as www.callercenter.com.

                              So having proved that the calls were indeed fraudulent, can you help block them? Or can I file a complaint?

                                Vodafone Prepaid Service in Orissa is seriously pathetic. The Customer Service my Orissa's prepaid connection received is deplorable. Internet connectivity 'EDGE' service is lost in the beginning of each Refill cycle.

                                This issue has been redundant since last 6 months, probably a small technical glitch, but Vodafone seems to be least concerned after my repeated pleas. The Customer Service (whether it is outsourced or their own), treats customers as Gossip and time-consuming pests. The most unprofessional customer-service ever experienced, with –

                                1) Extended TAT is a practice for them.

                                2) Delay in response is neither acknowledged nor apologized (the customer has to call back to know the status, they do not respond from their end).

                                3) No idea if call history is documented, each single time the customer calls back with the same issue, he has to narrate the entire scenario from the scratch.

                                4) The technical team that is off after 6 PM, ridiculous!! Biggest market player and its technical team is said to be out of office post 6 PM, this is as per the stated by the customer service.

                                5) Technical team can give you a call back relating to any technical issue only after 72 HOURS!! So, till then just curse your faith, no response before that even if you are facing the same issue for the past 6 months.

                                6) The liaison between Technical Team and the Customer Service Agents is very poor. Even if an literate customer requests to get his call transferred for a technical issue (recurring for over 6 months even) that can be better explained to a Technical professional, it's not a possible task here - Courtesy - Task schedule of the Technical Agents.

                                Lots of my friends have Vodafone connections at Bangalore and are more than satisfied by the Customer Service and connectivity there. They say and even I have experienced it really matches International Standards. But it is still a mystery to understand why the service at Orissa is contrary to the company's repute, may be because the connection is just an insignificant PREPAID Connection (not a Corporate or Postpaid one with Lump sum revenues). Well how does matter even if you loose a single prepaid connection as mine quite insignificant it seems!!

                                    I am Anand from Chennai. My mobile number is [protected] and the complaint number I am talking about below is [protected].

                                    I had registered a complaint regarding charge dispute as mentioned in the subject and it was pending till today afternoon, well past the specified ETA and all of a sudden, it shows up as resolved without me getting any sort of intimation regarding the resolution so far. Further to add to my woes, i am not able to connect through to 198 or 111 which tells me my request cannot be processed.

                                    This is a very serious glitch in the customer service which has been excellent so far and in a couple of days lost all it's credibility. I would like to highlight here that I shifted to Vodafone ending a 6 year relationship with my previous carrier for a similar incident where the service suddenly fell flat.

                                    I have been told constantly whenever i inquired in the month of September by the customer care executives that I am in Nokia Lumia Promotional Data Offer for the period of Aug 20 to Sep 19th (I particularly remember a call made on 9/10 of sept when they confirmed the same to me) even, the last time of my inquiry being 20th September who confirmed the same to me. But, all of a sudden, I find being completely billed for the data usage without any plan being applied. The plan, I was told, was activated for me on 24th May and will end after 4 billing cycle, the cycles being
                                    24th May to 19th June,
                                    20th June to 19th July,
                                    20th July to 19 Aug,
                                    20th Aug to 19 Sept
                                    which means that any data usage for the period should be based on the plan and not on direct one to one billing (10 P per 10 KB). That was not the case for the last mentioned period and I ended up getting a bill of 821 and odd for data usage which should have been free as it was within the limits (I have used 0.08 GB in the period when I was told 2 GB was the limit per month). If the billing was not enough to distress me, the number of calls I had to make to sort things out and the number of calls I tried without being able to get through from Yesterday is even more cumbersome and painful (Have I been blocked from making Customer service calls?).

                                    I want this issue resolved amicably and I need you guys to call me ASAP to let me know on the status and the resolution of the issue. I am giving pretty serious thoughts of getting out of Vodafone if this is the way the customer is getting treated by you guys.

We have processed a reversal on 21 September 2012 for the usage charges of 17 August 2012. We regret to inform that we will not be able to process any more reversals as the charges are valid.
