I'm not able tolerate such nusance calls while i'm busy on critical work. This call is usually coming from a number with this pattern - +911409****** (e.g. today i got it from [protected]). My No - [protected] - last month i called vodafone and said them that i want to change my Mobile Operator to tata - they said that what scheme r they giving you we will also give. After the long discussion they said me a plan where my bill will not come more than 1350 having 4000 Local Minutes , 2000 Minutes STD , 2GB 3G internet and Unlimited Sms. Now after a month i reciece a bill which is 2400 - and when i called them some call center guy picked and said sir you have said us not to change and keep on hold in the last call.

    - I said their Manager can you check the telecommunication which i had last time as it is saved in ur call center database. She said sorry we cannot you have to pay us this bill. Bloody Loosers - i am changing my Mobile Network Provider and will makesure that atleast 10 of my friends stop using this bloody company who does not know how to treat their premium customers. - BYE BYE Vodafone.

Mobile Tower — remove the tower from my house

      Dear sir

On my Roof, Two towers (2) are being installed. For Airtel & Vodafone both.
House add: 4 Shivaji Road, West Punjabi Bagh, New Delhi[protected]Behind C-65 Shivaji Park)

Full of vibration & harmful radiation. All the walls & window are vibrating. After Complaining so many times to the owner & the take care persons of the tower. They are not listening too it.

The passage area & the staircase of the roof. all that space has turned black and full of hand prints.

Is it allowed the towers too be installed in the residential areas????

      Thanks Regards

Obviously, it is not at the interest of the owner cause he is making/minting enough money by allowing the service providers do so.
Till date there is no such regulation which will stop these installations in residential area. There are enough reports on how people are suffering with health hazards by staying close to these towers and i would suggest you to vacate the house and find a better place immediately at the interest of your family

        Hello,

I had migrated from Vodafone Postpaid to Prepaid close to 2 years back. While migrating, the usage plane was Second billing. Recently, all of a sudden they have changed the plan to 1 rupee per minute and when I asked an explanation they are saying that there will be a call back from Vodafone in 48 hours, now it has been 10 days, but no calls or any response from the customer care.

I have been using the connection for 6 years and have been loyal to them, I am very shocked to see such a kind of response from them. The way they respond to me is unbearable and I am very much disappointed by them.

I am using Vodafone no for last 4-5 years. I have make a request to deactivate "Vodafone Mobile connect" service long time back. But It has not been deactivated. I contacted Helpline they told me that service has been started by dealer so I have to visit Dealer end for disconnection & refund.

After that I mail my complaint to Vodafone they told me that this service is activated by in in Feb 2011. I have never used that service & requested them to deactivate & refund me. But they are not helping in this matter.

In my recent bill I still got charged for VMC service. Rs 99 per month for 20 months is 1980 Rs. that I have paid for nothing.

Idea — Charging on SMS on 16th October

Idea had charged 1rupee/sms on 16th October giving wrong information before.
When I called to 150 before, 16th October wasn't there in the recorded message.
And even I had checked in *121#, even there 16th wasn't there.
It is very ridiculous to deduct 1rupee for the discounted messages on 16th.
As we all know Diwali is celebrated on 17th, 18th and 19th.

Moreover by providing wrong information Idea cheated me and I don't know how many customers are affected by this.

I want Idea to reimburse the deducted amount for me.
I urge Idea not to provide wrong information like this in future.
The executives will always act as if they don't know of the scheme. It is their training. Unlawful charging, by not clearly announcing the charges clearly hiding 90% and saying only 120% of the details is usual and best known tactics of Vodafone. Then they will drain your balance and even after finding and reporting they fail to take not. Finally they will also not deactivate the unwanted service despite several requests.

For this you go with the evidence of your request to deactivate to your nearest police station and lodge a FIR on Nodal of your state without which your problem will not end.
even i m facing the same problem .. i hav just rechrd with the 89 msg card.. vodafone is charging re 1 per sms after sendng 100 sms per day ...m facing too much of problem .. pls help me wat to do ... i hv calld d customer care n dey r sayng dat no free msgs will b allowed after 100 sms per day ..

u can also try to rechrg wid another 89 msg crd so u will get 200 free sms per day wid 2 msg crds
FILE A FIR UNDER IOC 408, 415 AND 420 FOR LYING, DECEIT AND CHEATING IN YOUR NEAREST POLICE STATION AGAINST YOUR State-nodal IMD.
m also facing the same problem...please tell what to do now...m facing a gr8 problem due to this...
              My vodafone number is [protected]
I am suspecting that i sent more than 100 sms'es today and now i am getting charged for sending sms'es

I would like to know that why is vodafone acting so cheap.
can't they send any SMS stating that the daily free 100 sms have been used
And in the FIRST PLACE why charge customers after 100 sms without making any formal announcement for the same?

I would like people to take a stand here and file a case against vodafone..
I am also facing the same problem.Vodafone is doing whatever they feel like. This is complete injustice.

I, RITU MEENA is a user of Vodafone services. I been noticing that there are frequent deductions from my number. There is no information available regarding these deductions on the customer care number i.e, 111. My balance gets in negative as low as - 29 rupees each time. However, I have not subscribed any of your scheme. I have monthly data plan activated and even free messages, so I don’t think it’s because of my usages. Therefore, I request you to kindly provide me with the detailed information about these deductions or refund my deductions. Otherwise forcibly I will stop your sim service and will go for other company’s sim.

                  HI,
I am a vodafone user having mobile no. +91 [protected]. I was using CUG plan of reliance industries. But since i have switched to iPhone the Internet service i had under my CUG plan was no longer applicable. Hence, i contacted customer care on 18 th sep for guidance. Customer care executive asked me to go for 149 rs (2GB) data plan. After two days i came to know that i m not eligible for this plan again i requested them to change my plan and explained that i am having a CUG plan and i want to use Internet connection. On 16 th Oct 2012 at 2.04 PM, i spoke to customer care executive (Ms./Mrs. Dhara trivedi) regarding my problem, she advised me to go for 199 rs (2.5 GB) data plan an assured me that i am eligible for it. Again to my surprise i got message from vodafone saying i'm not eligible for it. Having frustrated i requested for change of my postpaid scheme to prepaid scheme and spoke to Mr.Kaushik pandya who again console me and said dont worry your 199 rs (2.5 GB) plan will get activated within 48 hours.

When i got the same message again on 18th Oct 2012, I strongly asked customer care executive Mr. Mahendrasinh thakur to change my postpaid plan to prepaid plan, he asked me what problem i am facing and why i want to change my postpaid plan to prepaid plan? i explained him everything. Then he came up with one offer, he said sir we have a special benefit plan for you in which you'll have to pay 99 Rs rental and 115 Rs for 2GB free usage of Internet. I agreed and they changed my CUG plan to vodafone special benefit plan. Now after 4 days when the Internet service was not activated i contacted customer care again and spoke to Ms./ Mrs. Janki she said sir Sunday was non-working day hence, it took some time but dont worry your scheme will get activated before 6.00 on 23 oct 2012. At 6.05 PM i contacted area supervisor Mr. Salil Khoja who told me that you are again not eligible for 115 Rs 2 GB plan and we are sorry that our executive have misguided you and we have registered a complaint against him. I said it was not my fault that i was misguided you revert the changes i dont mind. He said for that you'll have to go back to your previous employer's executive who has given you this CUG plan. I disagreed as i cant go back there i am far away and i dont have his contact no as well. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME I'VE BEEN HARRASSED LIKE THIS. In January 2012 also vodafone charged me with 2000 Rs extra on my bill which later they waved off after accepting their mistake. I FEEL I WAS CHEATED and i am not going to make any payment henceforth as it was not my mistake.

Please do the needful in this matter

                  Thanks and Regards,
                  Vodafone user

Vodafone — Miss Guidance by Vodafone Executives

                  My # [protected]

Kamla nagar Vodafone store executive were misleading me and not ready to convert my post paid connection into prepaid one.
I deposited full and final payment at Vodafone store on 28/03/2010 for Rs 1140 so as to convert the Post paid connection into Prepaid as per adviced by the Vodafone kamla nagar Executive.(which included the rent till 10th April10)which they charged in advance for whole month.
They desptroyed my post paid card and told me that your prepaid card will get activated after 10th April only.
However when I called cust care next day, they told me that still Rs 374 balance is coming in that number which i need to pay. and they havnt got any request for CONVERSION as well.
May I know why you are mis leading the customer like this. For what this Rs374 is still out standing when the executive has destroyed my card and gave me the new one.

Call centre guys cut the call 4 times without transferring the call to supervisors.

WHAT IS THE STATUS OF MY REQUEST!!!
Is this the way you deal with your old customers. Please disconnect my connection if you cannot provide me any satisfactory anwser.

                  I totally agree with Maulik.

I am a corporate user and in spite repeated email to corporate helpline I haven't received any response. How can we expect some help for normal users?

If you can do something about this than we will be "HAPPY TO USE".

Vodafone — I am not allowed to use the new plan offers

I am using Vodafone connection since the last 3 years approx. and I am using "299 @ 50 plan"

I realised that 4 weeks back Vodafone is offering Rs. 175 plan which has more free STD + Local and comparetevly better plan then what i am currently using.

I called up customer care atleast 20 times and got different versions which was
                  - There is no such plan
                  - This is a Corporate Plan
                  - This plan is only for customers taking number porability
                  - You can get this plan activated from Vodafone Retail Outlet only

then finally when one lady told me that okay i shall forward your number for "175 plan" and it will take another 4-5 days to get activated but nothing happened. Again i called up customer care 5 days after that and they told me that plan has already expired.

then i asked them to give me a complain number stating whatever is communicated to me, but again that customer care guy gave me a wrong complain number which never existed.
Miss-guiding pre-paid and new customers by Vodafone exec.s is at best seen only in Vodafone. They are trained for it and they do it very well. First they lure you by offering Big and numerous services for a small amt. eg. Rs.100/-. and on acceptance will escalate the final figure to thousands and monthly bill will come in Lacs.
For this you should have any evidence such as voice records or email copies of your intimation.
Then proceed on your zone Nodal in police under IPC 408, 415 and 420, and simultaneously in civil court under 36A of
The Monopolies And Restrictive Trade Practices Act, 1969..

                      Hi m.shubham,

If you call c-care they will say this pre-paid is dead for reasons invented by them and will ask you to take post-paid where this same number will become alive. For this you have to pay Rs.500 as deposit.
This is how the miracle "DEAD BECOMES ALIVE HAPPENS". Goodluck.

                        Hi drprabhuraj,

Activating Vodafone DND is of no use. On calling c.care they say it is from unregistered-tell-callers and they can do nothing to stop it.
I see a foul play. Vodafone is getting money and allowing it, so only unwilling and reluctant to stop it.

                          Hi

I did online recharge for my friend. I called the customer care and after getting the information from them i used the following link for the recharge tariff plan.

                          https://shop.vodafone.in/shop/directRecharge.jsp?refID=googlesem

But after recharge has been done she checked the balance it was showing the same as before. I called the cutomer care and asked nd they told it has been recharge against 3G data plan and it cant be revert back. This is a clear case of cheating the cutomer by offering wrong information to promote services which is not popular and forced people to use it. Now i want to cancel my plan and revert the either the money back or convert it to tarrif plan.

Can You kindly look in to this matter and help me out.

My transaction details are given below.

Vodafone — re. revert my money back unconditionally

                          Sir,

My Mobile No. is [protected], I have very serious and genuine concern i.e. on 22th March at around 8.30 P.M. I received a sms from the Vodafone Co. that your request for the caller tune will get activate within max 4 Hrs. as per your request. Immediately I called the customer care about the incident and asked to stop the service and revert the balance in my account but the customer care executive repetitively try to put word in my mouth that i have asked for the service but when i asked him to show the confirmation which he had received from me in the form of SMS but he failed to explain it to me. and transfer the line to his supervisor for the reversal of the money and said that he is unable to revert the money in my account.

The call disconnected due to insufficient balance and could not get in touch with supervisor after several attempt to supervisor and My reversal is still pending with them.

Therefore, it my heartiest request to all MSP to stop such dubious tactic to harass customer and revert my money back unconditionally.

                          Thanks,

                          Rajiv Kumar Singh

I on the other hand also am following up on this offer from Vodafone. The terms and conditions applied for using the coupon were not disclosed by Vodafone on their website and should be considered as fraud.
cheating like these is a normal daily activity of vodafone. nothing surprise. they lure by offering a big bunch services for a small amount and after you accept they will escalate it to thousands. normal.

I have a Vodafone connection (Mob: [protected], Punjab circle), my details are as following:
                            • Plan: 250 per month, which gives 25000 seconds (local and national)
                            • Vodafone connect: Rs 199, which gives 3GB data (This was activated on September 22, 2012)
                            • Credit Limit: Rs 3000
I got a bill of Rs 27897.17 for the billing cycle ending October 21, 2012. This is very ridiculous that how can this much be my billing amount. In last six months my bill amount was always below Rs 1000/-
This is really shocking news and is completely out of my budget. I am not able to eat and sleep after getting this much bill, I am in great depression, Vodafone’s customer care executives do not give satisfy reply. Few weeks back I asked to customer care executive that why this much amount is shown in my account, he told “this amount does not include tax, discounts and your data and calling plan and anyhow you will not get a bill above your credit limit, because once you cross your credit limit Vodafone gives you a call and asks you to submit some amount to continue the service.”

This amount is very very big and unimaginable it is very shocking and if something happen to my mental or physical condition Vodafone will be responsible for that.

I have all the proofs and messages for activation of plans services etc.

                              Hello,
My name is Parth. I am from Mumbai(City) and have been using Vodafone No. [protected] since 5 years now. I would like to bring it to your notice that I had received a message from the company on the 6th of October 2012 that my total outstanding had exceed my credit limit of Rs. 3000. I made a prompt payment of Rs. 3000 on the very same day. However on the 10th of October I again received a message from Vodafone that my credit limit had been breached. I would like Vodafone to explain me how was I charged for Rs. 3000 in a span of 4 days ??
Also I have been billed this month for Rs. 6255. The itemised bill states that I have been charged about Rs.5000 for mobile internet. I would also like to bring to your notice that I don't use the internet as much as to be charged Rs. 5000 for the same as would be evidenced from my past records. I presume there has been some mistake in the bill for the period 12th Sep to 11th Oct. I request you to address my grievance as soon as possible as I wont be able to make any further payments regarding the said billing period until the issue is resolved. I had called Vodafone Care. Since this is a disputed matter I expected Vodafone not to bar my data services till the matter has been solved. However it has not been so and it actually has barred my data services.
This is total apathy on behalf of Vodafone towards its customers and I have to say I regret my choice 5 years ago to chose this service over others.
                              Parth.

I have already paid for the full year the 2G vodafone charges in advance on 5-8-2011, when i visited your Andheri west office. Your representative asked me to pay 4099 plus service tax which worked out to 4522. I paid 4525 for the usage of monthly plan @ 399/- instead of the unlimited one that i had opted for last year when i had purchased the stick. On the renewal date[protected], i had visited your centre and was asked to come back only after the new bill was drawn which i received on the 4-8-11 and i approached vodafone on the 5-8-11.

Even after paying the entire amount in advance for the whole year why am i being billed and why am i being billed @ 899/- when i have opted for @399/- ( less than 2GB usage).
Once more i have recd a bill with inflated amounts. Please do not make me pay for mistakes of your inefficient people. I have met MR sonu and MR sofyian on every visit i have made. They have assured me that the plan is already changed which in reality seems not have changed.

Please rectify the bill and correct the same saving me the trouble of fighting for the refund.

                              Hello,
When. after emails, telephone complaints and complaints on www.vodafone.in, my issue had not been solved, I must say I did not, at all, expect a reply from Vodafone when I posted my complaint on this forum. On the contrary however, I got a prompt reply from the company(within 24 Hrs.) and the issue was solved to my satisfaction on mere phone call without me having to pay a visit to the vodafone store.
I am glad that the issue was sorted, however I request Vodafone to start acting upon immediately to complaints made to their toll-free number(111) and not just wait for irate customers to start posting here.
My confidence in Vodafone is fully restored.
                              Thanks for the Help.

The fight between 2 companies has lead the customer into huge difficulties. The company (vodafone) kept harassing the customer and made them frustrated, irritated and lead us to the extend that we had to finally switch the other operator. The person incharge of vodafone who was dealing the case also got fed up and left the case stating that "i took the wrong case'. and many other didnt care about our complain .. and were least interested...
Now even after switching off the operators the company is still after the customer on his other vodafone numbers.
The companies repo has gone down very badly, the company's attitude towards customer is causal as if they do not care. The tagline May I help you is fake. Where every you go we follow is also fake they do not do what they preach.
Yes, they do follow their customer just to clear their outstanding and harass customers and not to help you.

Vodafone — Not able to call

                                  HI,

I have taken a Vodafone prepaid number last week from a seemed to be authorized Vodafone Centre(Kaningham Road, Bangalore). Since morning I am not able to call anywhere.

Even on 111, the answering machine says : "This service requires special subscription, please call vodafone customer service 111". What the hell....

So far all my efforts are in vain as the executives @ Vodafone Centre (kaningham road) seems to be either deaf or least concerned of customers' problems. What an irony, Vodafone has "Happy to Help" punchline.

I was expecting a lot better services from Vodafone but would be seriously reconsidering recommending it while advising someone.

                                  Regards,
                                  Saurabh Garg

We look forward to help you again, so please do not hesitate to contact us at vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com for other queries and request you may have.
