Hi,

My vodafone Post paid connection was without my consent or knowledge transferred from Rs99/- plan to Rs149/- plan from month of June'12, when same was brought to notice vodafone customer care they kept promising for refund n deactivation of 149plan. Now my original plan has been restored but till date i am struggling for my refund. Got confirmation from vodafone customer care for my feedback on their website and they again confirmed me for refund but till date i have not got refund or any correct explaination from vodafone end.

Hope addressing problem here would help me.

      I am complaining on behalf of my sister. i went to Vodafone store in Nirman Vihar to submit documents of my new address. I was attended by CCE named ARPIT JAIN he promised me that their will be verification and my no. will be activated in 72 hrs but it was not activated the date of my visit was[protected]. so i again visited yesterday[protected] to the same store and came to know that due to arpit has not forwarded my request properly due which their was no verification. their was no follow up for the same. who is going to compensate me for the loss. Kindly do the needful and look into the matter so that someone else like me should not suffer due to negligence of customer care executives.

      Vodafone — Customer care-careless

      I am a Vodafone user for 8yrs now... with the passage of time, I was proud owner of 4-mobile numbers with the said provider... But of late this company has just started a loot... They dont send bills correctly, once they send my home address and next to office address(that I no longer belong to)... without my knowledge or request of it... Then I have a plan that allows with the network in Maharashtra & Goa free unlimited talk time... But I am charged if i call one of my own numbers from the same network... every month I have to beg for reversal for first 8-months of service...
      Later, I got a higher end mobile handset to use Mobile connect, But intrernet wouldnt work...With great help from some techno friend I managed to speak to worthless customer care (complete ignorance to the fact that he was not from a technical background, and understood nothing of wat me or my friend were asking him). Further without my knowledge or request I was put on monthly rental plann of 499...after trying to convince I hadnt asked for it, some gentleman from customer care realised it was their error (he cannot give me the proof of the same, so no one other then him agrees to it so far). the situations are now getting worst, after I started getting mms as a link and not the picture since June... (whereas I am using the service since 2006.)TO my surpirse one customer care guy was careless enough to hang the phone on me after hearing and reference check, the other clearly took his hands of by stating "Vodafone is not responsible for technical error while viewing an mms"
      Vodafone is not resposible for bill charges error,mms unavailable,sim moisture issue,customer care "careless" issue,corporate assist team never replies issue, highest complaint authority never view mail issue, phone calls drop issue, same msg being sent multiple times without our handset knowing of it issue, network issue...

      Vodafone is only responsible of collection of outstanding bills issue...

      Dear,

      i am salvinder singh Tarn Taran Punjab i always had problem with vodafone services for which i had complainted but which have been never treated or solved even i had tried to call seniors.

      Now i cant call customer care from my mobile no. (ie [protected]) i don't know why i gues they have barred me from calling Customer care. anyways my problem is i am being asked to submit my douments again and again. a week before i had submitted documents but still even after a week ahs passed when i try to make a call i got to hear DOT guidelines saying to submit documents.

      I am now fed up with these [censored]ing thing and vodafone **********

      i will wait for another week and throw away the sim and get another service provider's SIM connection i am not going to tolerate these harresment any more at this age i am not supposed to shout but when i call Call care people they make do so bcoz they so rude and ill mental people that ai cant stop my self.I had talked from landline care care no.someone was online he Bas**** said directly said he cant help me i asked for senoir's no. but could not call that no. he provided becoz o[censored]nknown reason.

      i am going threw away this connection if this isnt start working properly within a week.

      I would appreciate if someone senior in Vodafone cals me, but now possible

      Vodafone — Careless Customer care Executive

      My Vodaphone Number has been deactivated without prior notice.The reason the store employee of Sacret world Wanawadi gave me was irrevalent and again doing all the formality all over again my number has not been activated for which they promised that the issue would resolve within 48hrs.I am sad and frustrated.

        I am pankaj kumar sharma.My mobile number is +91-[protected].My Email address is [protected]@gmail.com.Two weeks back i converted my sim from tata indicom to vodafone at vodafone mini store,Shamshabad,Rangareddy district-501218.
        Complaint:-
        Few days back vodafone has been barred my service because they did not got documnents.After that i had submitted my documents to vodafone mini store.At that time they did not opened my service so again i went to vodafone office and submitted my documents.Really i had submitted three times.Now i am really harrassing from vodafone lazy service.It's vodafone executive fault that they did not produce documents because I had given all document as there demand.Now vodafone is being late to open service.It's really torturing me.please I requested vodafone please open my services its six year old number and my business is really stucked due to this.

        i am using vodafone post paid mobile no [protected] from last 5 years and i never dealayed my bill payment. they barred my services due to my another add on connection billing problem .
        i am saying that how can they barred the services without any notice of a no whose no bill payment pending. due to to this i suffer my business now tell me sir who will pay for that

            I have recently decided to Port Four of my number to Vodaphone number to use the TCS CUG group plan.
            1. One number [protected] has yet not been ported. That number has remained out of service for over two weeks now. I am unable to get a clear answer from the Customer Support as to WHY HAVE THEY NOT ACTIVATED THE NUMBER. This phone was an airtel number before and a postpaid number. I have also recieved a bill from Vodaphone for this number

            2. Another number which has been ported from Airtel to Vodaphone I have recieved messages stating that the bill amount is Rs 800 and has crossed the limit and the phone outbound calls were blocked within 7 days of number getting ported and without the first bill having been Generated for the same. This happend without any notification, upon calling customer support the support guy was insistent that I do the full payment at once in order to get the number activated. I have no idea where they set my limit without my knowledge. The amount that they were showing was an undiscounted amount as per the CUG plan but still the service analyst insisted that the payment has to be made in full within 7 days of my number getting started.

            3. The bills of four numbers that have been sent to my email cannot be identified as to which bill is for which number as there is no mention of number on them and the files are password protected. I recieved the bills within 14 days of my numbers getting activated I have no clue about what is the actual billing cycle. Customer Support does not reply to queries they instead stick to scripts and keep talking like a machine and quiet frustrating.

            I made a request for Rs 22 Plan (Night speak).your execute told me that he will activate within 24 hours.After 24hrs again I made a call to call center.The other execute picked the phone.He dont know how to talk to customer.Even thought I was taking politly, he told me nearly 11pm it will activated.but till now no activation process is happened.I never saw this kind of poor service from anyone in which the executive dont know how to talk to the customer. Again today I am trying to call customer care, not picking the call and put the IPL matches offers. stupid service, really worst service...

            One suggestion from my side to Vodaphone company. Day by day you are loosing your customer not because of the offers what do you have. But because of the poor service made by your customer care executives. Not pinking the phone, put the phone on hold, disconnect the line etc...

            Change the Customer Care gain the Valuable Customers...

            This is to inform you that my vodafone no. is [protected] which is i am ussing sine last 1 year and suddenly i have cheked bill in which they have charge me some amount as SMS special no. regarding that i have spoken with there customer care at Girisg Park Kolkata and they inform me that they had send me sms for providing srevies and as per there asssurance that from this time you paid and from next time you will not received bill for the said facility for which i have paid amount, Further since last two bills again they are charging which is totaly wrong.

            Hence request you kindly take up the matter with vodafone and provide me TRAI contact details for my further action.

            Vodafone — Lack of customer survice

            i'd activated my message card in morning at 8.00 am...and till now i had'nt get the credit of free messages...m trying to call vodafone executives from customer care but i wont get connected...when ever i try to get connected to voda executives it wont get connected to my number and comes to the main computerized main menu...i had tried many many times but in vain...it also cutting my mony just for nothing...
            also this is my new number which i had purchased last month but receive unknown calls and messages unnecessarily...when i called customer care from some other way then they said that your number was in postpaid use but get deactivated3months before...i want to ask then why they wont deactivate the services on that number or why they bring out that earlier used number in market for again use...

            THIS IS A SERIOUS COMPLAINT ABOUT MY IPHONE NO [protected]

            Refer to my SMS sent to Vodaphone helpline Jul 10, 2008 8:12 pm which reads

            'Refer complaint no[protected] registered at 6.30pm.
            Regret I had to call your centre more than six times but could not get the supervisor nor solve my problem.
            I had told my problem to one guy at 6;30pm then to Mr Ajit Vichani at 7:15pm, then a couple of times again when the line got disconnected. I called Mr Razi at 7:25pm and I asked for the supervisor who was Mr Santosh but they refused to help me and declined to talk. I again requested for the supervisor this time one Mr Jitender but again the line was cut.
            I COMPLAIN THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS MATTER, I REPEAT A VERY SERIOUS MATTER.'
            Your office is totally not helpful as the information is required from me which is ridiculous and also you do not solve my problem of not able to get the server on my iphone.
            The message I get is
            "Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding"
            Please note the solution should be done by you and not by me coming to your centre or my telling you information which is not for me to tell (the information you need is with you).

            I ONCE AGAIN TELL YOU IF YOU DO NOT DEPUT SOMEONE TO MY PLACE TO RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM OF NO SERVER AVAILABILITY I WILL NOT (I WILL NOT) MAKE ANY PAYMENT DUE TO YOU AS I AM NOT GETTING THIS SERVICE FROM YOU.
            THIS MATTER HAS TO BE SOLVED BY YOU TO PERSONALLY COME AND SOLVE OTHERWISE YOU CAN FORGET ANY BUSINESS WITH YOU AND ALSO BE PREPARED FOR THE NEGATIVE IMAGE VODAPHONE WILL FACE.

            I use Vodafone services and my sim falls under the scheme introduced by them by the name of "Friends and Family". I receive messages on my cell saying recharge by this much and further this will happen. When I do it then it does not get charge and when appoched customer care they say that it is not for your sim as it is under scheme. So my fight is that if they send bulk messages then why don't they mention that it will not apply to sim's those are under scheme.

            Approaching consumer forum for the first time. Hope that an appropriate action would be taken.

            Vodafone — lack of responsibility

            hi,
            this is viswakanth i purchased one vodafone prepaid sim with mobile number [protected] which is on 10th of this month, located near forum .I clearly explained my urgency and also told them to activate the sim as soon as possible .Also that vodafone customer care person also assured me that she will activate very soon with in 24hours.but that did not happen for two days, so i took my busy time went to vodafone center personally i spoke my problem got the solution temporarily.cause i now suffer with another problem, these negligent people did not submit my documents to main office, so they unsuscribed my incoming and outgoing, thereby iam really impatient for these acts. Don't they feel sense of responsibility it is not just to say that "happy to help".do deeds wat they say?so please look into the matter and solve my problem.
            My connection is prepaid & my no is [protected] without information, without any clarification they had stop the services of outgoing, i am not able to call anybody they had stop the services at evening time.
            The thing is that if suddenly happen anything seriously and they had stop the outgoing services, if thing has been damage at my home who will be responsible for that.without any clarification how they stop the outgoing.i need the Compensate of Rs 10000 for there such behaviours.
            Pls take the action ASAP

            Vodafone — Poor Customer support

            I am very upset with the customer care of vodafone because of which I have already lost a lot of money for no reasons.
            I tried calling them 100's of times but no response.One chat service got activated by mistake and it took vodafone more than 6 months to get that service deactivated.i had to take round of visits several times at vodafone store to get this fixed.By then it caused me around 300 bucks and a lot of mental frustration.

            Vodafone — lack of information

            Hi Vodafone,

            Request a responsible person to get in touch with me for my query.
            Today i recharged my no for rs.299 as i was told that with this i will get 400 odd mins for all subscribers however i got only .5 paisa.
            i caught the dealer and asked him for the balance ? for which he said u asked me for the recharge now it's done but i got no balance with it? so he called a person in vodafone who handles these dealers and he at first told that i had got an international calling recharge done ?
            i was surprised ? i called vodafone cc,this female was helpful and told me there was no plan on 299 and i can talk to the dealer as to what he has done? i made her speak to the dealer. dealer again called vodafone and that guy ASSURED me that i will my balance after service deduction. i was not satisfied with the answer as i had got many differnt by now so i called vodafone cc and this guy named Sunil Kumar (chandigarh vodafone customer care) who told me this 299 had a scheme of 6 gb for whatever month n i told him i was obliviuos of this info to which he said ''why don't u use net for two months''? wow i was really expecting this kind of service from vodafone when you draw your customers purely by playing with there emotions ! dear whoever is reading from vodafone i polietly ask you to help n give me talktime atleast ?! atlast one person some TL of Sunil spoke and was asking to call back like i have no business than calling vodafone and pleading?

                Hi Team,

                Despite of mailing so many times and calling customer care I am still facing issue regarding the bill. My number is [protected] with ibm399 plan.
                For Aug dated bill you realized your mistake and gave a waiver of 1364 rs.
                Again for the Sept bill you people charged wrongly and didnt give me 120000 secs freee including outgoing calls, roaming, etc. Bill was again came far above the actual and expected bill i.e. it came 2176 rs.
                and for this month Oct dated bill .. you again performed the same mistake.
                I dont know why you people are charging wrongly and result of this you disconnect my phone. I am usually on roaming and many a times you deactivated my no because of this mistake high bill and due to this my incoming and outgoing both get barred , which leads a very big trouble for me.

                I have mailed you more than 40 times and called you 15 times. Recently I have talked to a senior Executive Sandeep on [protected] and he realized the mistake after calculating the free secs and total called secs and found that the bill should be around 550 Rs instead of 2176 Rs. He told me that he has mailed back office for the same.

                Now because of your extra charges charged in the bill my bills come with high service tax amount which i am not supposed to pay. As for August bill you gave me a waiver of 1364 Rs but didnt reimburse me the service tax charged for this amount which is 168.3 Rs . Same thing is happening again here Big amount of service tax has been charged for these couple of months ( last two month Sept and Oct ) . please clear that too after clearing the extra charges.

                Now 1 more issue . From last 3 months you are charging 30 Rs/ month for celltick Joke service which i already deactivated in July itself and got the acknowledgment too. Even i dont get any joke sms from you side i.e. the service has been deactivated but not the bill for the service. Again this is a big mistake from you side. I dont want any such service.

                1 thing i would like to tell you that i am intimating you regarding this issue from last 1 month including so many big mails and calls but still i havent got my problem solved. I am not here to face such issue in my life due to the inconvenience caused by you people and this is last time I am tolerating. So many times you deactivated my number and that is not a good sign. Writing such big mail takes lot of time and you people are wasting my time in making me do this. Please people try to understand someone problems and try to solve them asap so that people feel happy to use your service.
                I am using a IBM 399 plan and we are so many in ibm using this plan and vodafone service . If you people continue this mistake, I am sure my project people and so many from IBM will not continue using you service.

                I hope you people will solve this problem and will come with a proper reply.


                You can check the below forwarded mail of the vodafone feeling sorry for the mistake and same mistake you did this time. In that i have again mentioned about the joke sms service which i already deactivated.

                *not ablt to calculate as for outgoing of 1154:45 mins you are charging 1382.1 rs including callrates sometime 1rs/min sometimes 1.5/min some times 2p/sec .. fluctuating call rates bizarre
                while my call rates are 1p/sec on roaming outgoing and 0.15 rs/min incoming.


                Total secs used for calling - 127784 secs total discounted secs 47880 .. expected 120000 so still 72120 free secs are left .

                Please see my May, June, July bill which didnt have any dispute at all. it will help you.




                Expected bill

                399 rental + 1.5 for the message + charges for extra 7784 secs ( around 78 rs) + service tax = 537.64 Rs.
                1616.58 last month due - 900 payment made - 1364.77 waiver - 168.54 Rs extra service tax charged on last bill waiver amount = -816.73 Rs

                so 537.64 - 816.73 = -279.09 Rs


                and i have already paid 800 more to continue my mobile which makes the total = 1080 Rs.

                You can now calculate how much time i am giving in doing all this stuff and how i am paying in advance and i hope you people will also worth my time and will respond me after calculating proper discount.

                Vodafone — cheating by giving wrong information and charging high bill amount

                Dear Sir,

                I, Abhishek Biswas (Mobile No.: [protected]), billing address:- K-2110, C.R. Park, New Delhi 110019, has been CHEATED by Vodafone.
                Last month, I called up Vodafone Customer Care regarding "Blackberry Service Plans", I was misguided by the customer care executive giving me wrong details about the plan, resulting to which I have been charged an amount of more than Rs. 5000/- which is totally unethical and result of misguidance.
                Now my Outgoing services has also been barred along with the Blackberry Services.
                Please suggest and help me regarding this issue.

                  I got a call from vodafone they have a special postpaid plan for me.They told that with a postpaid connection of monthly rental 300, I would get 750 minutes free.I said ok . He sent me a representative the same day to collect rs 250 as cash. I gave him the cash and documents and he said it would be done within 1 day. This was the case of 1st Oct.Till date no one has contacted me and the sim hasn't been activated in postpaid yet.I have talked to customer care and vodafone stores.Customer care tells me to contact vodafone store and store tells me to contact customer care.                       I have shifted to abroad from June 2012 and disconnected my vodafone number from 16 June 2012 in mumbai,after disconnection also got the confirmation from representative and via email(I have all the proofs with me)

                      In the month of august i got the bill of Rs.3500/- for no reason and they are also showing me the usages after several mail from vodafone they are still telling me to pay Rs.1025/-.and given me the reason that in absence of me somebody has requested them to activate my number and without my confirmation they activated also.

                      This is total cheating and fraud which are taking place in vodafone people who travelled in another country.

                      Please look into the matter,its very serious matter in future also.

                        I am suffuring from Vodafone Postpaid connection since last 6 months. Story is that, I requested my postpaid mobile number [protected] for prepaid conversion. For this first time I went to Noida Sector 18 vodafone store, they told me please show your original ID proof then we proceed, I requested but they refused. Next week I went again Noida Sector 18 vodafone store with my original Passport, they checked my number and told me Sir your number is MNP means ported from another service provider So please go to another vodafone store we temporarily could not convert your number to prepaid. If they told me this problem in 1st time I did not go to them anyhow again in next week 3rd attempt I went to vodafone store at Rajeev Chauk metro station (CP) and request to do same at that time their system was down they told me Sir please go Karol bagh vodafone store our system is down.

                        then I went to vodafone store,karol bagh and tell them to do the same on one counter a lady convince me to not convert postpaid to prepaid but after long debate I told her I decided to convert in postpaid then she gave me a form and told me pay full bill then we proceed. I pay the total bill and fill form and submit she gave me blank sim and said Sir that sim will start in max 5 days and took my working postpaid sim.

                        I returned to my home and wait for 5 days there was no action in that blank sim, I was so frustrated and did not go again for 1 month think may be one day that sim will start working, but that is not happen. so again 4th time I again went to vodafone store,karol bagh metro station and tell the sim you guys provided me is not working and i am receiving the bill properly, what is this? they said sir don't worry we will fix your problem a guy do the same process mean fill form take id proof and tell sir your sim will start working in 72 hours I come back to my home and wait for 72 hours.

                        Till date that sim was not working and i am receiving bill and call from vodafone sir please pay your bill.
                        Now I am stop thinking about my 2 year old number and using new sim because I don't know what to do and I have no time for vodafone store every weekends.
                        So people I am suggesting use any service Idea,Airtel any but NEVER vodafone they are thief.

                        And also i mailed my problem to grievance id and vodafone office before 2 mothers but No Action at all till date.

                          dear sir,
                          vodafone custmer care told me that ther is a scheme on my number,e.g. if I recharge no.[protected] by rs 34 then I wll get 32 rs,
                          so I recharged my no by 34 ,34 on octuber 2,sepratly two times,
                          but I got app. 27-27 =54.
                          I called cusmer care for the remaining balance,
                          they told me to wait for 72 hours,
                          then I again called on octber 5,
                          again they told me that they send my no.for further enquiry ,and I have to wait for 72 hours more.
                          and now again I called care on october 10th,
                          how shamelessly they told me again for wait,
                          I m fed up by calling vodafone care.

                            Vodafone — deduction of charges without knowledge

                            I have a prepaid connection of Vodafone and without my knowledge, the company deucted money from my a/c. They said that I have consented by okaying the unsolicitated smses they regularly send on my cell phone. I have not at any time told them to send me smses and once they send you an sms, if you try to open and see what the sms is all about, then they say that you have okayed for the service. The cell number is [protected]. Last week I had recharged the number with Rs 222 and with negligible usage the balance has gone into negative. I told them to reund me my money but they refused. This is cheating on the part of the company. Kindly look into the isue.

                              I bought Vodafone sim ([protected]) on 27/7/12 from New Annai Mobiles, Nanmangalam who is close to my residence for Rs.80/- with talk time of Rs.92/- The sim was activated. After a gap of one week my mobile number [protected] was barred from services for want of photo, photo id, and address proof. I informed through email I have provided all the documents to the retailer when I bought the sim. " Without document no one get sim." I also gave the phone number of retailer/distributor to Vodafone care by email. Vodacare executives said that they are investigating my case. But nothing has happened so far.
                              After a gap 2 months they said my number was permanently deactivated. Therefore I have to go to their nearest vodafone store to get a new sim with necessary documents. This means the retailer/distributor has misuse of my documents for that vodafone customer care support them. For a new sim I have to spend nearly Rs.100/- by travelling expense and spare times. Is it economical to spend Rs.100/- for sim cost of Rs.80/-. Therefore I am requesting you to kindly instruct Voda customer care to refund the amount or do the number activate immediately.

                                At 4 pm I recharged my phone with rs 100 and a free internet usage card for rs 95. i received two messages. 1st one said your account has been recharged. and second one said unlimited vodafone live service has been successfully activated for 30 days. The second message certainly means that now i can use the internet for free, so i did. My balance was later reduced by 54 rs on account of internet usage and vodafone customer care people tell me that card gets activated after 4 hours. I received no such information in the message. Cheating customers.

                                  Despite my continuous explanations to Vodafone customer care executives they seem to stick to the same behavior and as per My Bill Dated 3rd October i have a 300 MB Data Pack Active on my Number- [protected], My Billing Cycle is from 3rd September to 2nd October Midnight.

                                  The Bill for Current Month is 1055.46 from which they have charged 336.68 for extra data usage of 168340 KB which i consumed on 2nd of September. And as per my current Bill the data pack which i consumed on 2 September evening, rather than getting added up to my previous monthly consumption Vodafone people are adding previous month data usage to my current month bill which is totally illegal as my billing cycle starts from 3rd September to 2nd October Midnight not from 2nd September to 2nd of October.

                                  They cannot add my previous month usage with my current month usage. And even if i see my previous month usage it was not more than 97 MB, so in any way i have never consumed more than 300 MB any month even if they add up all month data usage. On the Contrary on 2nd October of Midnight i checked in Vodafone’s Web Based system and via service request by the end of the day on 2nd October i still had 35 MB left in my 300 MB Data pack. So how come on one side as per their online system and service requests point of view(inclusive of the Data Usage consumption on 2nd September ) i still haven’t consumed my monthly limit and according to their billing system i have consumed more than my monthly Limit ??? And now their customer care officials tell me that it takes 24 Hrs to get the Data Usage updated so we have charged you for this. So if this is the thing that i am not responsible for their ineffective working of their system and i would pay a single penny for their ignorance and carelessness. And this is a complete fraudulent act.

                                  Even after spending more than 6 Hrs on explaining their various customer care officials and Supervisors they reply Me Back that “We have charged you rightly and, you will have to pay for it”.
                                  1) Initially made 2 Email Complaints to the Corporate Customer Care on 4th and 5th October Yet None of their Representatives cared to even read the email in detail and just replied back with a same email template both times.
                                  2) Written Emails to Nodal Officer and Appellate Authority along with the proof of whole conversation with their customer care executives, yet none of them even to reply back.

                                  Being a Corporate Customer these treat us this way, imagine how they would be treating others...Now all i have left is to take out some time and drag these dck heads to court and teach some manners to their so called AVP Vivek Gangwar and their Dumb Nodal Officer Sushma Khanna.

                                  And Vodafone guys i[censored] r reading this i have already initiated a complaint to our corporate team for termination of services with Vodafone and shifting to other service providers. Hope to get relieved from ur services soon all i can hope.

                                  People don't even this of Vodafone as a choice as others make a mistake these dumbos have total system screwed up. OPT for them AT YOUR OWN RISK.

                                  My post paid connection no. [protected], name Prakash Kumar, I am having an addtional number in my name and the number is [protected]. I paid both the phone bill through a single cheque, which was collected by vodafone executive. The amount for the number [protected] was not updated inspite of number of complaints. because of which i was not able to pay the next bills too. My outgoing calls are blocked since long time.
                                  I have alrready made a number of complaints and phone calls but all in vain. They asked me for the bank statement, which i sent on customarecare.[protected]@vodafone.in, as suggested by them, but still no action has been taken. When calling on customer care, they simply talk with parrot like words but no action is taken till date. Kindly do the needful.

                                  I am absolutely horrified by your company's service and attitude towards a customer.I asked for a duplicat sim of [protected] to be sent to my place by going to ur store in kamla nagar on 9th october 09.After waiting for 4-5 days I called and was informed the sim was delivered on 10 but I never received it.Then after another 2 days i called again to say i havnt received the sim and the executives tell me the sim has been activated. how can they activate a sim when i hadn't received it nor had i called to activate the sim. on 17th oct i called again and they delivered a sim from vodafone. i called again to get it activated. for nxt 3 days it wasn't activated.when i told them to activate the sim they said they had activated the first sim card.i called again to tell them to deactivat the first sim since i had not receied it and asked them to activate th second. they said they will do it. i called again aftr a day or two. this time thy said the sim card i had received was faulty. it will not work. i was tired of vodafone's srvice by now. Finally they said thy will deactivat the first 2sim cards and send me a 3 rd one.I waited for 2 days. i called again . the executives asked me to repeat my story a couplw of tims as they had no record of what i was saying. i asked them to terminate all services as i wanted nothing to do with the company. Now i receive a bill for all the prvious months when i wasn't even using the sim cards.

                                  Vodafone — wrong details inputted in the system

                                  Dear Sir/ Madam

                                  This is to bring into notice that i had taken a vodafone mobile connecion and as per kyc norms i had submitted the documents such as adddress proof and id proof. Bur due to negligency of the company and its people the address and customer name was wrong inputed in the system for which i did not receive and bill or any documents from vodafone.
                                  On inquiry the problem was found but the customer care insistive, that i give a fresh set of documents for the same at the nearest store.The problem is that i have lost all the documents and i cannot submit the necessary document to vodafone.
                                  And since the only address proof that i have legitimately is the vodafone address proof which is incorrect.Hence i cannot apply for other duplicate documents such as pann card/ driving license without the address proof and customer/biller name.

                                  Therefore i logged a compliant on 11/04/2010 to the customer care to retrive all the documents that i have submitted intitially for the connection and cross check& rectify (compliant no :SR [protected]) but till date there has been no action taken against the same and the customer care is adament on the fact that i need to visit the vodafone store with all document.

                                  Kindly suggest where does the customer stand.All my essential work is pending for one wrong mistake and im suffering for no fault of mine.

                                  We are using a corporate plan of Vodafone telecommunication in NCR area, we are very fadup with Vodafone services, When they want's they disconnect our services they collect cheque from us but did not repesent them in bank till 5 to 6 days and suffer our services, their sales person never pick our phone or did not repaly our mails.
                                  Nodal officer mail box is full "sushma.[protected]@vodafone.com" and phone line remain buzy in this case how to appeal.
                                  We have lost estimated Rs 10 lack business due to disconnection of telephone services and also lost our godwill in market due to disconnection of seniour management telecom services.

                                  It is to inform you that I having the voda no. [protected]. Earlier it was the post paid plan but on 21st of Jan 2010 I got it converted into pre paid plan. It took more than 90 days to get my security deposit amount back whereas I received a cheque of Rs.159 only instead of Rs.250.
                                  5 times I had to go to the vodafone store Lodhi Colony for this security deposit amt. The last payment made by me as the post paid customer was Rs.540 but the Executives of vodafone are saying that it was only Rs.380.
                                  I request you to kindly look into the matter and issue me the cheque of remaining amount. A thinking is raising in my mind that Vodafone is not taking care of its customers. Your action with justification would only can change my view.

                                  Title : Vodafone charging extra amount every month bill

                                  I had two postpaid CUG connection of Vodafone. There was a problem with for both the bill. The bill had discrepancies.
                                  1. Charging for games download where i never used to download anything from my mobile. I just use my mobile for calling purpose only.
                                  2. Charging for SIM change, SIM which they are giving is not quality. Their SIM used to Refresh the mobile frequently during the call and even if we not using it i also checked their SIM cards in other mobiles the same problem persists. Because of their SIM card my mobile is repaired. Will they give money for the cost of repairing?
                                  3. Vodafone sending messages like "Enjoy 1 GB data FREE without any rental for 1 month". If we use that service they are charging in the bill.
                                  4. Charging for International messages where i not even sent local messages which is free of cost.
                                  5. Sending the bill continuously even after the service is disconnected.

                                  The list goes on in every months bill. Vodafone is trying to extract money from its customers by any means.

                                  I have been in contact with vodafone guys through Email. But my issue has not been solved. I paid them whatever my actual usage is. Vodafone executives talked so rudely and threatening the customer. That really disturbed us thats why i am presenting my case here at consumer forum.

                                  Even though people were writing complaints on Consumer Complaint Forum, Vodafone has never changing the tendency of harrasing their customers and trying to suing peoples money.

                                  I have received the below mail today.

                                  To Mr.JUDE ANTONY DEEPAKSub: Your Vodafone Mobile No: [protected] Acct No: 5.41351.00.00.100985 OS-Rs.504/- Legal Demand for payment of net outstanding amount/dues.
                                  1. You had subscribed to the Cellular Mobile Telecom Services being provided by us on the terms and conditions of the Customer Application Form (CAF). We have from time to time sent you bills for the Cellular Mobile Telecom Services availed by you. You have been served monthly statements and reminded through telephone calls, SMS messages and visits made by our Representatives, including our agencies, to make payment of the bills sent to you. However, in spite of several such demands and reminders, you have Failed and neglected to pay the amounts of net outstanding amounting to Rs.504/- as on 05.10.12 after adjusting the deposit if any.
                                  2. In accordance with the terms and conditions of the CAF, you are under an obligation inter alia to make payment of periodic bills raised upon you in respect of services availed by you. However, in spite of the receipt of bills, you have grossly failed to make the said payments. That you are aware, that you would be liable to pay the net outstanding amount that is in default together with interest thereon @ 2.5 % per month from such date on which it became due. That the above acts and omissions exfacie contribute flagrant breach of your admitted contractual obligations. This may necessitate appropriate legal proceedings.
                                  3. In the aforesaid circumstances, we hereby call upon you to pay the Net outstanding amount mentioned in Paragraph 2 above, together with interest thereon @ 2.5 % per month from such date on which it became due within 2 days from the date hereof. Failing which we will initiate appropriate legal proceedings against you. This Legal Notice supersedes any other Legal Notice(s) sent by us.
                                  4. KINDLY CLEAR THE OS OF RS. 504/- ON OR BEFORE 09/10/2012 (Tuesday) 5.00pm WITH OUT FAIL TO AVOID LEGAL PROCEEDINGS.

                                  They were saying in the email that, "You have been served monthly statements and reminded through telephone calls, SMS messages and visits made by our Representatives, including our agencies, to make payment of the bills sent to you. However, in spite of several such demands and reminders, you have Failed and neglected to pay the amounts of net outstanding amounting to Rs.504/- as on 05.10.12 after adjusting the deposit if any". But we used to call customer service and emailing the queries to thier managers no re****se from them. But here they are blaming us.

                                  If vodafone wants to increase the revenue, they were harrasing customes by sending legal notice. We have all the evidences and emails that we are not worrying about the legal notice. Even people making frauds has raising the voice by sending legal notice, then why dont we raise our voice as we are the victim.

                                  I have disconnected all the vodafone connections and informed all my family and friends not to use these kind of fradulant services.

                                  Please use the Indian Service Providers.

                                    I bought a Vodafone dongle from Vodafone store, Kalyan (W) on 09/09/2012. The item description being – USB – k-3770 ([protected]) – bill number - 10692. Sim number is [protected]. The customer care executive at the above place being Mr. Amol. I had informed him that I need the dongle to work at Mumbai University, Kalina – Santacruz (e) and at my local guardian’s place at kalyan. Even after 24 hours, the dongle was not getting connected. I took the dongle thrice for servicing in the next 3 days at the Vodafone store at Ghatkopar West; wasting a lot of time and money in the process. At first, there seemed to be some trouble with my SIM and then with my plan. Apart from Rs. 1500 for the dongle, I paid an additional Rs. 252 for the 3G plan for a month. Even after a week, my dongle didn’t work. I then went to the kurla mini-store where I was informed (by the only honest representative of Vodafone I guess) that the 3G network doesn’t catch at all in the Kalina-BKC area as the company doesn’t have any towers here. It didn’t work at Kalyan either. So precisely my buying the Vodafone usb was a total waste. All this while, everyone from the Kalyan as well as Ghatkopar store knew that I intended to use the dongle at Kalina but not a single person gave me correct information. I went to the Kalyan store again to return the dongle and get my money back. They said it wasn’t possible till their network engineer checked the validity of my complaint. Fair enough! My reference number for the complaint is – [protected]. I got a call after a week from an engineer. I don’t know his name but can provide his contact number for reference – [protected]. This sir gives me a call at 4:30pm. I say I’m unavailable then but he can come at 7pm. But he doesn’t work beyond 5pm. I ask him to come the next day. I try to call him innumerable times the next day and even send him messages, but to no response. Its been exactly a month now and I’ve not got to use my dongle even once. I waited for a month and patiently went through all required procedures but nothing happened. This is a clear case of harassing and cheating the customer by not providing correct information and service. I cant wait any further. There is no scope for any reconciliation. I would request Vodafone to return my money for the dongle. This was entirely their fault and they need to be penalized for the same.
                                    In case Vodafone feels even an iota of responsibility, they can call me on weekdays after 3pm. They have my number. I have waited enough and now is the time for formal action against the company if they do not comply. And trust me, I don’t mind going all the way.

                                    Vodafone — Vodafone USB

                                    I purchased a vodafone usb, at that time they promised to provide the max speed of 3.2 mbps & min of 80 kbps but its not even providing more than 3 kbps. I can't even open a web page and when i talked about this with customer care then they said we can't do anythiung with the speed, you shopuld purchase 3G service, and they even agree that they cheated us.

                                    Now this usb is useless as it tooks atleast 5 mins to open a single web page.

                                    I am here to inform others to not togo with Vodafone and also to either refund my money or provide me the good speed.

                                    I also wrote the email to the customer care. (REF:[protected].
                                    i am so sick and tired of you people. if there would have been a lesser amount involved, i would not even have bothered so much. its been over a week that i posted an online complaint, assuming that since umpteen visits to the store was futile, this might work. but even after 10 days, all i get is 2 calls and absolutely no visits. no one came to check the network. the callers only inquired more about my issue. i could gather from the way they spoke that none of them even read my complaint. are the employees illiterate? now you tell me, what am i supposed to do to either get that hopeless dongle working or get my money back? you guys are just wasting time so that you can give the excuse that you wont give me money as i have used your worthless product when it never actually worked. have some dignity. this kind of cheating customers is simply ridiculous!

                                    The network engineer visited my place. He did not even touch the usb or my laptop. Just checked if he is getting network on his cell powered by vodafone. His comment was – the 3G is weak but good enough to check medium sites and youtube videos. when i asked for his recommendation, he said he cant give any as then that would mean he is committing to something – which he cant do. I think thats very unprofessional. I have been asked to visit a store and get the usb and sim checked as well as pay for another month. I dont intent to pay for another month if I am not assured of service. Give me my money back. Enough is enough!

                                      I have been a Vodafone customer for around 7 years(BPL, HUTCH, VODAFONE), current Mobile no: [protected]. I get irritated receiving the Vodafone promotional calls everytime I receive it. Infact, nothing irritates me more than this stupid calls.

                                      I have registered for DND few months back, assuming that this stupidity will stop. But, it never does.

                                      Dear Vodafone,

                                      I dont want your stupid offers on Foreign calls, Stupid Caller tunes, and Stupid STD sms offers. Please leave me alone.

                                      Dear sir,

                                      I am a vodaphone mobile subsriber and my no is [protected] I am complaining about the promotional calls being made to my phone without my consent. Please remove me from your list of promotional calls.

                                      Vodafone rips off people by there promotional calls, if you do not receive the due to any reason than there system will call you after an hour. If you receive the call and if you listen to what the system is telling that some or the other offer gets activated and your money is deducted. So now i receive the call and disconnect it in 1 sec.
                                      I contacted the Vodafone customer care through e-mail and they told to register on "Do Not Call Registry" which would be activated after 45days, so uptill 45 days i will receive there unwanted calls. When i told that i don't mind getting promotional messages but just quit calling me, but they told it won't be possible. Very bad customer service vodafone. A good way to make money.
                                      Dear Sir/Madam,

                                      I have been using Vodafone mobile number for almost over a period of 6 months. In these 6 months i have requested the company to stop promotional calls twice already. First was 3rd Oct 2009 then i was told that it will take 45 days, post which i will not receive such calls. It stopped for few days and then again on 30th Jan 2010 i received a promotional text. I again complained and i was promised to get this resolved this time for sure. However, today i have received a promotional call from [protected] at 07.10 pm. I am not very sure if i should be contacting Vodafone yet again after already making 2 complaints before. I know there is a legal / law in place, but i m not quite aware of this.

                                      Vodafone — promotional phone calls

                                      I have applied for DND service on my cell No. and i am still getting promotional calls and SMS.

                                      can some one tell me what can we do to avoid these unnecessary calls and sms.
                                      The DND service will be activated only after 45 days according to the old rules. From Jan 11 it will be activated after 7 days. You dont have to apply again if you are already registered. If you have recd calls/sms after 45 days you have to call 1909 and register a complaint and get the register number(docket no:) of the complaint. You can email me at [protected]@yahoo.com
