Is there anything called customer service???

I Ankur Choksi had booked a Volks Wagen Vento IPL edition on 15/04/2011 and was to get the delivery latest by 28/04/2011 as promised by Mr.Sameer the sales executive. I however did not hear from them till 27/04/2011 hence marked a mail to the dealer that is KSM Motors and Volks Wagen India. After which they send someone to get the RTO Papers signed that too without informing that someone would be coming however I was luckily available and hence the said papers were signed the same day. After that I was informed that I would get the car by 29/04/2011. On 29/04/2011 I got a call from Mr.Sameer my sales exec that the car would be ready by 29/04/2011 evening and I could come and collect it whenever I wished. I called him on 30/04/2011 at 11.00 am that I would be coming at 2.30 in the afternoon to pick up the car.

I reached with my family at 2.45 in the afternoon I was requested to wait and they had called Sameer to attend to us. He however showed up only after 15 mins, I asked him about the car he said it would be coming in 10-15 mins, I asked him as to why was the car not ready as I had called him before coming he said that they had a shortage of drivers and hence the delay was there I was ok and was waiting. After waiting for 15 mins that is total wait of 30 mins I checked the status of the car and he kept saying it is on the way. I was enough irritated by then and said I would like to meet the head of sales or GM or anyone in the senior management. They said no one was available I asked for the cell numbers and they gave me the mobile No. of Mr.Rao the GM that is [protected] and [protected] both the numbers no one was answering then they gave me another number of some Madame [protected] whose number was unavailable. Please note I have to take numbers and call the staff could not co-ordinate and ask any senior to get in touch with me.

In the meanwhile my mother, wife and 2 yr sold son are waiting in the waiting area they are not even offered water. On asking they are given water at room temp saying that there is no cold water available. We were waiting for over 2 hours in total at the showroom we were not offered any refreshments ect. I got any and asked for the complaint book they said they don’t have a complaint book I called the volks Wagen complaint no. and registered a complaint but they said it would take 48 hours to look into the complaint. I did not know what to do with no seniors available I asked them to arrange for a car to drop me back home as I could not wait endlessly at the showroom with my family. To that request they flatly denied that they did not have any car and driver available and it was not their duty or obligation to drop us home. This is the least to expect from a showroom for whose fault one full family has been waiting since over an hour. Till then what should have been a happy moment had already become a disaster. I then asked for the other showroom GM number which again the people did not have? I do not know how the showroom runs I guess a cycle showroom has better co-ordination. The last car I had got from maruti the showroom next door RATAN MOTORS and the experience was actually delightful and you go back with a smile. Please ask your showroom guys to learn from maruti which is a lower priced car but values customers 10 times than volks wagen.

Finally I took the number of the other showroom and asked for the GM and could talk to Mr.Pravin Pathak he said he was not aware but would get back to me in 10 mins he called me back at 4.00 and said that the driver has left but there has been some traffic hence the delay is caused he arranged a car and said he would deliver the car at whichever address I wanted. I asked if the car would come in the net 15 mins I will yet wait and finish it to that I got a reply that after the car comes It has to get washed and cleaned before delivery. I wonder that such a big company cannot train its dealers to co-ordinate delivery time and there is absolute chaos on what basis are the dealerships given. Even a shopkeeper who delivers bread has a better sense of timing!!!

Before leaving they were arranging the car and driver for me they handed over the papers to me and were giving 2 IPL tickets which I did not want as they had spoilt my day enough they were saying why you don’t want I just told them they had done enough for me for the day. They arranged the car by 4.35 so that we could leave just before leaving Mr.Sameer comes up to me to tease me and says we had also send IPL VIP Pass costing Rs.15,000/- to your house as if he has done a big favor and given me from his salary that was given by the company for which the dealership has nothing to do and you should understand a person who has suffered for over 2 hrs cannot be irritated with such comments. Is this customer delight???

I left by the car taking assurance that the car would come by 6 as I was to treat my friends for my new car at night. They said it would 100% come and Mr.Praveen also called and confirmed it. I waited back at my wife’s house In Sion so that I could check the car and come back to showroom in case there is a problem. I would drive the car back then.

At around 6 I get a call from the driver as promised I explained him the address and he was there in the next 10 mins. I was Happy that the promise was kept by the dealer at least once. When I go down I see that the car handles and mirrors which were to be painted the same color of the car has not been done. I lost my head and called Mr.Sameer the last reply you would expect is what he said. I forgot???? How do you expect a customer who has gone through all this to do. He said take the car and he would paint it the next week and he said that as if what’s the big deal and like he is doing a favor on me. I told him I have paid for the car and lots of money this is no behavior I would expect from any car dealer even I do business and definitely not this way and this is definitely not expected from Volks Wagen. By now all my enthusiasm to get a new car is lost and my whole day wasted I have to cancel the party with my friends as I did not get delivery for the said car. I called Mr.Pravin he said I can keep the car I said I would not sign the delivery note till the painting is done he then said that he will deliver the car on Monday. My whole day wasted!!!!!!!

I called Sameer to send me a car to go back home as I was stuck in Sion without a car he said it is difficult and on insistence he said he will call back after checking I did not receive any call I had to arrange for my own transport for the fault of the dealership.

I spoke to Mr.Pravin there after and asked him when would I get my car he said he would send it on Monday. I said I wanted to talk to some one from the senior management before you send the car as I wanted to tell them how much a customer has had to suffer he said that he is the sales head and he would co-ordinate I told him I need a apology letter stating how much have I been troubled before getting the delivery of the car for which he said we don’t give letters I am telling you. I really don’t take this and would like the company to pull up KSM motors for doing this have an audit in place which checks the service given to customers and also improve services at the showroom like at least having cold water and complaint book. To say the least that every showroom should offer to its customers booking cars worth at least 5 lakhs.

I wish that the company penalizes the dealer harshly which can be a monitory penalty or canceling the dealership license. As such dealers tarnish the image of the company and bring bad name to them.

    Dear Sir/Madam,
    I regret to inform you that my experience with your esteemed company has been extremely disappointing as there has been an attempt to cheat me by delivering a damaged car. I request you to kindly take the necessary steps to ensure proper redress of my complaints. The facts of my complaint are as follows:
    1. We booked a Vento Highline diesel from your dealer M/s World Class Automobiles at Moti Nagar, Delhi with an advance payment of Rs.75,000/- by cheque no446971 drawn on SBI Inderpuri. on[protected].
    2. We were informed by Ms Bhawna that the car is ready for delivery and we paid Rs.9,54,152/- by RTGS transfer vide UTR No: SBINH[protected] on[protected].
    3. We were asked to take delivery at Showroom at 14:00 hours. We waited till 15:15 hours but did not get delivery. We tried to contact the manager who did not take the call as he was busy having lunch. As I had other appointments we had no option but to leave the showroom empty handed.
    4. We were then informed by phone by Ms Bhawna that the car would be delivered at the residence. When the car was delivered I was shocked that to find that the car had small dents on the doors on the left side where the paint had got chipped off. The paint was running and disfigured over the left rear door also. There was evidence of some paint damage behind the left door.
    5. When I pointed out these defects to the driver he took the car back to the showroom.
    6. I immediately called Ms. Bhawna who stated that she would call me back but has not done so till date.

    I regret to state that an attempt is being made by your company to cheat me by passing of a damaged car to me.
    I request you to kindly intervene and ensure that I get a proper vehicle at the earliest.

      I am Sheelu working for Microsoft India... Would like to bring to everyone's notice about the MOST DISGUSTING service that I received from Volkswagen Dealer - Elite Motors Pvt Ltd, 31 Magrath Road, Bangalore.. I booked my car with a down payment of 1,00,000 INR 3 weeks back.. I was told that if I need to get a car of my chosen color red, I need to wait for 3 months.. What was readily available was white.. I went ahead for White color Polo 1.2 comfortline petrol on 30th of March, 2011.. My loan was approved for 4.6 lacs in 4 days and was informed that I would get my vehicle on 7th April.. Accordingly I planned my travel to my hometown on Sunday - 10th April. On 8th I was told that they cannot deliver my vehicle till 11th April because the finaciers delayed in delivery order. Hence called the finance guys and got the DO to be sent on Friday morning (9th April). When I called the dealer to inform, he told me that you are late by 15 mins and hence we cannot do anything because the delivery cannot happen without registration. THERE WAS NO ATTEMPT MADE BY THE DEALER TO HELP ME.. THEY HAD THE ATTITUDE OF LEAVE IT OR TAKE IT.
      On 9th April they received the vehicle but no attempt was made to conduct pre-delivery inspection on saturday.. On Monday they said they'll complete the registration process and give delivery of the vehicle at 5:30 in the evening. In the evening when I went to the showroom, they told me that there was no registration done, no road paid receipt and vehicle didnt even go through proper PDI, the reverse lights were not even glowing ... Till date I have not received the number plate or tax receipt from the dealer..

      I need to place an official complaint on this dealer so that no other customers have to go through what I went.. I had to stay away from my work just to pick up a vehicle uninspected vehicle and also cancel all my programs which was planned based on the delivery of the vehicle.

      CAR IS GOOD BUT NOT SERVICE IS PATHETIC... Dont buy and repent it later...

      I bought JETTA 2.0 bearing number KA04MH3455 from M/s Elite Motors Pvt Ltd, Bangalore, India in the month of June 2010. I gave my vehicle for servicing to attend some minor repairs but to my surprise your service levels are extremely poor and deserve to be condemned with strongest possible terms. No one cares, no one acknowledges, no one confirms the status, no one informs you the cost, no one attends to your calls. Out of 5-10 attempts if you are lucky your call will be attended by service guys. (Ref :[protected]). No one is responsible for my vehicle at the service center. With great difficulty I had escalated this to Mumbai Service Head. But nothing has happened except getting a courtesy call from the Director of Elite Motors Pvt Ltd. Even after almost one month, I am not informed about the service / repair cost, exact date of delivery etc., Yesterday (12th April) I got a call from [protected] (Mubai service station). He was under the impression that I got delivery of my vehicle and wanted to know my feedback to their service level! Alas! What a lapse in the volksvagen group? When I explained the whole story, he said he would come back within 5 minutes; but now he is absconding permanently. Is this way to treat your high end customers? Virtually I am begging everywhere in your organization but to my surprise till date nothing has happened. How can you cheat your customers like this? I am totally fed up with this service quality and would like to get back my money. I have lost compete faith and trust with Volkswagen. I waited 4-5 months to buy this vehicle but I am proved wrong permanently. My friends (two of them) have already changed their minds and decided not to buy Volkwagen. Now in the absence of my vehicle, I have been incurring huge amount on my conveyance and causing lot of mental trauma which is unbearable and I just cannot bear this kind of service attitude from volkswagen.
      Please take back my vehicle and return my money immediately; otherwise I will be driving my car with a sticker showing "CAR IS GOOD BUT SERVICE IS EXTREMELY BAD...Think before you BUY"
      Is there anyone in entire Volkswagen to hear me and give justice immediately. Nothing satisfies than getting my money back.

      Here is mine. This is Santos and worked for Unisys India, Blor.

      I purchased a 1.2 Polo from VW Downtown, Blor (chasis # WVWH10607BT004359) in sept 2010. I had given them for a pint job on my car's mirrors and door handles. They kept my car for 4 days to the paint job. Later i found that they have swapped my original bonnet and front right fender. Initially they agreed to replace these parts with original parts and now after 2 months they are telling me to leave my care with them and they will do the paint job on these parts. From the day one i have informed this to VW customer care and called them 4 times in the due course of time. Till date not a single person from VW company have not called me or followed this case. It seems VW is directly supporting the dealer on this issue. I have sent an email to VW and informed them to update me by 29th April (today) or else i will go to a consumer protection forum or consumer court.
      Requesting others to be careful when purchasing VW cars or availing car service at any of their dealers. Else your VW joy ride wil be over in few months, For me it is already over. I know Maruti Suzuki car service is best in India and only God can save them as VW has taken some stakes in Suzuki.

      With reference to the above mention subject our New Volkswagen Jetta 2015 Dec Model facing problem for Exhaust smoke coming highly, its diesel High line vehicle.What the reason for that? Upon our knowledge high smoke coming due to engine problem. Its new car its runs KM below 10000 only.

        Reported complaint at Frontier Autoworld Pvt Ltd. on 4/4/11 as all door manual Center locking was not working.My Car details are VIN no WVWM10606BT021653. The service engineer confirmed me to arrange the spare with in week time and handed over a Invoice No. SIP110034 dated 4/4/11 .

        Today one week has gone , now i am not getting call from them even they are not responding to my Phone call.
        I am using my car without locking the door, which is very dangerous / risky.

          My name is Shabaz hussain siddiqui an Indian stays in Hyderebad. I had booked vento diesel trend line red color car on 12th October 2010, 190 DAYS BACK at AUTOMOTIVE MANUFACTURERS PVT. LTD., SECUNDERABAD with Rs. 75,000/-. At the time of booking they committed to deliver the car within 90days but till now no action has been taken even after my various follow up with the entire concern persons. According to Mr. Murthy (CEO) “they are no supply of above mentioned car from the Volkswagen”. Is it possible? If so then why did you launched this car in India. Even I had submitted written complain on http://www.volkswagen.co.in but sorry to say that no response has been given to me. It’s very embarrassing to book Volkswagen car. Kindly inform me if you are unable to supply the car then I will get other brand like TOYOTA or HONDA. You are requested to take an immediate action and feed me back the reason for such a long delay.             Valkswagen Head Quarter: When we called up for update after long time for VW Passat, In discussion on of the Sr. Person from VW, whos name i dont want to disclose. Said 75000 Kms are huge for VW Vehicle. Isnt it sound pathetic…it means that you can buy this car just to show off, you can not run it on the road. In comparison i would say Inida’s local companies like Maruti and all are doing good, a small engine like 800 cc (Maruti suzuki) runs smoother after bloody 5,00,000 kms which cost you only a lak and half, while VW passat cost us 27,00,000 laks and engine failed in two years, not once twice in a row within one week.

            Imported car companies never keeps parts in their service station as it cost much, it means if you have some major problem you have to just wait and watch for the parts to come. Even poor dealers are helpless because of that.

            Read the correspondence below with HQ in Germany and India.

            This has reference to Complaint CL 5903 and my emails to you on the subject.

            I am not able to find a sight of the action of local importer and seller(who GMS Motors P Ltd( Presidential cars) understandably shut the shop in India) cum service provider KSM Motors Navi Mumbai in India in redressing the engine failure as they themselves are yet to find out the root cause of the problem which they are still investigating with no timeline committment.

            No clue as to what is going to be their action forward in redressing my complaint which is still a mystery and put to lot of inconvenience as even the comparable standard service vehicle was also not provided.

            We are surprised that the Board of Volkswagen , Germany is waiting for the views of Indian Importer and seller , who generally find ways to have a causal approach ,as is already evident in the last one month and shall try to find fault with customer to get away with it.

            I wish to bring to your kind knowledge that Japanese manufactuers Honda & Toyota called back number of vehicles which even if by 1% having doubt of manufacturing defect mainly to maintain the brand & company’s image which we hope Vokswagen Board & management in Germany shall swung in to similar action without waiting for the reaction from Indian Importer

            It is to my great disappointment, there has been utter careless attitude and if this continues , there will be no alternative left for me to proceed with publising my experience in the media/press and also on all social networking sites.

            At the outset, It is a real satisfaction that the board of Volkswagen has appreciated the customer complaint and referred to India as it was imported & sold to us

            While thanking you for the immediate response, which we are yet to see the response from India counterpart , kindly appreciate the following:

            1. Engine failure has happened on Mar 22,2011 for second time in a row
            within 5 days from the date of first engine failure get rectified and handed over to us on 16 Mar 2011. This clearly establishes the fact that there is a functional defective observed in the Engine which the Service centre are not able to identify till now but casually informing Turbo has failed and Gasket oil to be replaced etc which clearly shows that the exact cause of failure neither could be identified nor the facts of the status are getting disclosed to me as your esteemed customer.
            2. Time and again ,when the services were made in the last two years ,
            complaint was registered with the various service centres of Volkswagen that the Engine oil and Coolant is getting absorbed faster needing frequent replacements on every three to four days but the said complaint was given a deaf ear by Volkswagen service dept in India.
            3. As a customer, I had relied on the pure brand of Volkswagen with a
            blind folded faith , that the German brand has an exceptional value proposition which is getting fundamentally at stake which of course the Board of Volkswagen will not force me to advocate towards a “Bad Publicity” by going to Press/Media to reflect myself as an irate customer
            4. There will not be any assurance, on the contrary even after repair,
            on non-recurrence of the failurre of Volkswagen PASSAT again for taking my safe riding on Road on this vehicle.
            5. Repeated efforts to call Mr Altaf , Customer care head in India is
            left unattended on his Mobile.

            All the above stated points, clearly reflect that the vehicle has inherent manufacturing defects beyond the capacity of repair by ordinary prudence necessitating that the vehicle should be recalled for the manufacturing for a complete investigation by providing us with a replacement of a NEW VEHICLE,which is the least is expected from Volkswagen to alleviate the mental and physical sufferings sustained by me as a customer after choosing such a wonderful German Excellence Vehicle brand.

              I had booked my car on 3/02/2011 with committed deadline by Mar 31, 2011 for delivery with M/s Shaman Cars Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai. However, till date there has been no response from the dealer inspite of the reminders (mails and phones). In view of the committed dates, i have done the deal of existing car, which has been sold.I had only one car, which has now been sold and i and my family is facing a serious daily problem. My concern no. CAL5653 is also registered with customer care of Volkswagen on 8/03/2011, failing to elicint any response inspite of several mails and calls on there customer care no.

                I am not able to find a sight of the action of local importer and seller(who GMS Motors P Ltd( Presidential cars) understandably shut the shop in India) cum service provider KSM Motors Navi Mumbai in India in redressing the engine failure as they themselves are yet to find out the root cause of the problem which they are still investigating with no timeline committment.



                No clue as to what is going to be their action forward in redressing my complaint which is still a mystery and put to lot of inconvenience as even the comparable standard service vehicle was also not provided.



                We are surprised that the Board of Volkswagen , Germany is waiting for the views of Indian Importer and seller , who generally find ways to have a causal approach ,as is already evident in the last one month and shall try to find fault with customer to get away with it.



                I wish to bring to your kind knowledge that Japanese manufactuers Honda & Toyota called back number of vehicles which even if by 1% having doubt of manufacturing defect mainly to maintain the brand & company's image which we hope Vokswagen Board & management in Germany shall swung in to similar action without waiting for the reaction from Indian Importer



                It is to my great disappointment, there has been utter careless attitude and if this continues , there will be no alternative left for me to proceed with publising my experience in the media/press and also on all social networking sites.

                    I had booked Volkwagen Veno Diesel from Navjeevan Auto surat and I was promised delievery of car on 25th Jan,11. When I called them for the delivery, they said car is ready but when I went to showroom for the delivery, they said instead of Diesel model they have ordered Petrol Model (Bloody fools doesn't know the differece b/w petrol and diesel). After the delivey of car (After too much of headache) I got the delivery by paying full amt by cheque.I had applied for loan side by side and it was approved by bank which was credited to their account. When I asked for the cheque, it took 1 month just to get the cheque and few days back when I got the cheque, it bounced..

                    VW brand is in a big trouble. VW should take some serious action against Navjeevan Auto.

                      Booked Volkswagen Polo on Nov 29th with KSM motors at Chembur. The promises delivery duration was 6-9 weeks.

                      However, till date i.e. Over 3 months, but haven't recd the car. The distributor continues to delay the delivery.

                      Despite the fact that the whole payment has been made by my bank and registration papers have been submitted too.

                      When personally followed up for the delivery, the staff shouts at us.

                      The above captioned vehicle has experienced lots of problems including en-route Engine Failure and the Engine failure is the second time in a row within the last 30 days.

                      For your information, first time the vehicle experienced engine failure on Mumbai Pune Express way on 21 Feb 2011 and the vehicle was toed down to your Pune Servicing Centre at Volkswagen Pune, Vidyut Motors P Ltd, Pune 411 005(Refer Job card Number[protected].

                      Due to non availability of Imported parts as per report of Dealer, it took M/s Volkswagen Pune, Vidyut Motors P ltd approximately 25 days to get the vehicle and handed over on 16 Mar 2011 (See the attachment of Dealers tax Invoice)

                      Again, with in a period of 5 days (five) days, second time vehicle has reported heavy Black smoke, with engine making very noisy with a complete break down on 22 Mar 2011 and again the vehicle was toed down to KSM Motors P Ltd, Nerul on 22 Mar 2011 who is also not in a position to identify the cause of the problem of Engine failure on the road.(see the attachment of Dealers Repair order sheet) Again, the Dealer has not able to give neither any date as to when he can repair the vehicle nor any assurance that after such repair that the vehicle would be reliable on ROAD for comfortable use.

                      We can not afford to have unreliability on road for paying hefty sum to get this vehicle for our use

                      From the inception time, the vehicle repeated complaints were made that the coolants & Gear oil were put up after every two days though there was no leakage from the car and no one including the service centre were not able to identify since the beginning o[censored]sing this vehicle though repeated complaints were made to the dealers including Down Town, Volkswagen (Shaman Cars P Ltd) Lalbagh, Mumbai

                      Above all, further horrifying experience is that while buying the vehicle that the undersigned was assured that the Volkswagen India Assistance is 24X7, Anytime, Anywhere highlighting the few of the following:
                      Travel and accommodation due to mobilization
                      Companions Travel assistance
                      Replacement of Car for upto 48hours (car rental included)
                      Transportation of Luggage and personal effects
                      To our surprise that Volkswagen Even charged for Road side assistance in their dealer bill of Vidyut Motors P Ltd Pune for a sum of Rs. 15594 vide Invoice Number March /4508/10-11 dated 16 Mar 2011.
                      Neither any replacement car was provided nor any such assistance above were extended as they were all only in the “Promises list of Volkswagen India” to customers both in website and at the time of buying vehicle.

                      The problem of engine failure has repeated with in five days from the date of replacing the crucial engine parts ( like Part Number 03G1300738 Pumb 4 numbers, Adapter, Screw Cheese HD, Rocker Bolt etc )clearly reflect that the vehicle has inherent manufacturing defects beyond the capacity of repair by ordinary prudence necessitating that the vehicle should be recalled for the manufacturing defect by providing us with a replacement of a NEW VEHICLE is the least is expected from Volkswagen to alleviate the mental and physical sufferings sustained by me as a customer after choosing such an impeccable quality assured German Excellence Vehicle.

                      For your information, the undersigned as a businessman along with my family is using Toyoto and SKODA vehicles which has never given any such problems atleast for first four to five years of purchasing vehicle and on the contrary, it is to my disappointment after coughing up a huge sum of money for this German Engineering Excellence vehicle Volkswagen was a sheer unpleasant experience

                        The polo doors can be opened from inside even after central locking the vehicle.When contacted the showroom they informed it is the system provided in the car.Question is whether it is safe for passengers in the car especially when travelling with children & pets.What is the use of central locking when the doors can be opened despite of locking.I dont think it is safe.No other cars in the market follow this standard of locking.recently when travelling with my family my child (i year old) who was sitting my wife's lap opened the door lock.By gods grace nothing happened.please suggest what to do

                          i am captain avdhesh tripathi , presently posted in bhuj gujarat.
                          i purchased polo highline diesel in nov 2010 from lucknow . presently i m driving it in bhuj kutch gujarat
                          the vehicle started jerking unusually and stopped on 3 rd of march 2011
                          i stopped the car immediately and called up the helpline and got my car lifted to workshop at rajkot .
                          i was told that it was dirty fuel that caused the problem which cannot be the case. because of the following reasons
                          1. i along with many other officers of bhuj military station go to this petrol pump as this is the nearest to our cantonment
                          2. i last refilled my car with rupees 500 worth diesel along and drove close to 150 kms when the problem occured and the car showed remaining 110 kms of diesel remaining in fuel tank.
                          3. the day we refilled our cars was sunday 27 of feb 2011. we were three officers on three different cars who refilled same diesel from same petrol pump,at same time together as we were moving for an outing.
                          4 had there been a problem with the fuel,other cars (which include ford figo, mahindra xylo) shoul have also stopped moving.
                          now the workshop after changing the fuel filters , injectors and cleaning the fuel system and tank, is reporting problem with engine and asking me to grant them permission to dismantle the engine.
                          and to my horror all these expenditures will not be covered under warranty
                          i want the vehicle repairs to be covered under warranty
                          because
                          1. there was no problem with the fuel, as other cars are absolutely fine till date and they still refill their diesel cars from the same petrol pump.
                          2. i also got the diesel checked from our (army) workshop immediately after it was reported by rajkot workshop. the diesel was absolutely adulteration free.
                          i feel the that i am being cheated by the workshop

                            Dear Sir,

                            Referring to the above vehicle, I would like to brief you about my concern. I have purchased this vehicle in Aug’2009 and till date I have been facing quite many problems with the vehicle. For your knowledge, my car has done 38,900 km and till now the problems I have faced with the vehicle are mentioned below. Also, to mention, the car is Automatic version (Volkswagen Jetta Comfortline)

                            • Within 18,000 km, the fly wheel connecting the gear box with the engine was found faulty and was replaced. (REPLACED under warranty)
                            • Within 25,000 km, the clutch plates were replaced due to sound from gear box during shifting of gear from Neutral to Drive. (REPLACED under warranty)
                            • At 30,000 km, I reported for sound from the suspension system which was denied by the service centre and at 38700 km when I got it re-checked, they say that the suspension is faulty and has to be done again and this time I have to pay for it.
                            • At 38,700 Km, the sound from the fly wheel and the gear shift sound from the gear box has regenerated. (I’m still to lunch a replacement request at the service centre for the same.)

                            The point is, what’s the use of buying a vehicle worth Rs. 16.5 lakhs when it cannot sustain the quality. I went on to buy Volkswagen as I always knew that the German’s were very much concerned about their quality and standard. Now, in the current scenario, I will have to spend a good amount of money for getting the suspension done at just 38,700 Km which is way beyond my expectations from Volkswagen. Also, I feel very ashamed of owning Volkswagen and suspending so much on a vehicle which cannot even sustain the quality as I expected from a world-wide renowned company like VOLKSWAGEN.

                            My request to you is, kindly get the suspension done free of cost as 38,700 km is a very low mileage for the suspension to be damaged specially for a company like VOLKSWAGEN.

                            COMPLAINT FOR FAULTY SUSPENSION AT 38700 KM FOR VOLKSWAGEN JETTA COMFORTLINE 1.9L : ENGINE NO : BXEB97613, CHASIS NO : WVWWVWA091K59A241228
                            Yes, the Volks wagon is not maintaining the german standards. Recently i bought a POLO Diesel JUST 45 DAYS back (ie delivered in March 20th -- delayed the delivery for 9 months) and the problems are more for a new car. My observations are:
                            1) The engine is getting heated up quickly compared to other diesel cars.
                            2) The engine is not topped up by the prescribed oil level while delivering.
                            3) The AC is not effective .
                            4) The whole body is making squeeky sounds when climbing uphill are when during steep turns (i.e the body is weak.)
                            Anand Moorthy, Mumabi, bought Vento petrol in September 2011 from Tornado Motors, Santacruz and went back to workshop within one week of purchase. Dont know whether its the dealer or the company itself but never experienced such things on purchase of a new car. List is big so here it goes.

                            a. BAD SUSPENSION: Even 4 people sitting the car touches the ground from back while crossing a spead breaker at almost 0 speed. Am sure its a suspension problem. The dealer confidently says yes happens with most of the cars in this segment and accepts it that Vento would have such problem. This should be a feature added with the regular advertisement.

                            b. TYRE BURST: The front tubeless tyre burst within 5 days of purchase, owned a Ford before with tube, donr remember when I had a tyre puncture

                            c. ACCESSORIES FIXD: Mud flap, music systems, front mirror covers and wipers were not fitted properly causing different troubles, shown to the dealer, accepted by the dealers

                            d. VERY BAD SALES SERVICE: Once I had paid the booking amount of Rs. 75, 000, no follow up on the balance payment and need of papers to process my registration process and thus delayed delivery. Should have understood this when I had to follow up 2 times for a test drive pre-purchase. From the papers submissions, delivery of card, demo of the car, waiting 3 hours with my family at the dealer for delivery are all part of my experience. The best things I donot know and have been told about my Car Registration papers. I had been given a receipt of the car cost and Insurance. Dont know whether pollution is been done or not.

                            Think I definately deserve an apology letter!

                            Ihave bought a VENTO TDI HIGHLINE from Tornado showroom in Santacruz, Mumbai & taken delivery on 4th Aug 2011.From the first day the switch on the dashboard for anti-fogging besides the parking switch is not working. I had asked their service dept to repair it in my place but their technician, Mr.Das informed that after checking on 22nd sept that it needs to be taken in the service showroom as their is some problem with the electronics. Even after calling their service no. about 4-6 times on 22nd Sept 2011 to find out the status of the car, no one has bothered to call up & let me know the status. I am utterly disappointed by the attitude shown by the service dept.I feel that they are only interested in selling cars & not bothered for the after sales service.For ur information I had talked to Mr.Steve D'costa on 22nd sept & today also I talked with him & the reply I get is that we will revert back to you within 10 minutes.

                                I want to share my experience with Volkswagen Delhi West (World Class Automobiles Pvt Ltd)

                                I recently purchase a POLO Trendline in the month of Nov 2010. It was good when I visited the showroom for the first time coz everyone wanted me to help or assist however as soon as I booked my car, they forgot me. They promised me to give my car on 20th of Nov, but when I called them on 15 Nov, the replied
                                which I got was '' We are not sure about that coz we havent got the delivery or any confirmation on this''. I was shocked as it was booked for the marriage purpose. Then I managed to get it on 22 Nov which was Ok but what they did, coz I paid Rs 4500 to get the door handles painted with the same color, they didn't do it properly. I complainted about this on the same day when I took my car out of the showroom so they said that coz its 8 pm and the service center is closed, You can come tomorrow. As I said earlier, it was a very busy schedule coz of my marriage, I couldnt able to go there and when I went there, nobody was ready to listen and now the paint from the door handles has been removing itself.                                   FURTHER, I HAVE PAYMENT OF CAR BY RTGS Transfer Through HDFC Bank, Vapi Branch,
                                  to SHAMAN CARS PVT LTD
                                  1.. At the time of booking i was being committed the delivery by first week of Jan ' 11the concerned person being Mr. IMRAN SAYED.
                                  2 Receipt recieve receipt no R111107 on 08/11/2010. and book a car
                                  3 when we Inquired for Delivery in first week of Jan '2011, I was given new deivery date of 25th Jan and now a new date of 15 th Feb 2011 ..

                                  My daughter's Engagement ceremony has twice been postponed due to change of delivery Schedules, since i have to go from Valsad ( South Gujarat ) to Chandigarh to for the Ocassion, but i don't think a GERMAN REPUTED ORGANISATION will consider the SENTIMENTS OF FATHER on this Occassion.

                                  HOPE THIS COMMITMENT OF 15 FEB WILL BE FINAL, SO AS TO FIX FOR THE OCASSION
                                  Its you who can take the matter seriously, understand and solve the grievance of your Father.

                                  I am experiencing the same problem from Volkswagen dealer - Abra in Anna Nagar, Chennai. My case is even worse. I had booked the car in Sept 2010 and till date (1/27/2011) they havent been able to give me a realistic delivery date. Just can't understand why they make false promises. They dont even care to update the customer about the delay.
                                  I too face the same problem with Abra motors, Anna nagar, Chennai. I booked Vento TDI HL in April’2011. It is going to cross 7 months from booking date. Till now(09/11/2011) I am unable to get delivery commitment from the dealer. Company like VW making the customers un happy with poor dealer network.

                                    your dealer BHARAT MOTORS has harrassed me for purchasing a new vehcle . I had put a pre-condition that i need the car by December 2010 as my mirrage was on 17th jan 2011. It was commited to me that i will get before time .So I booked the car on October 20th 2010 by paying Rs. 1,00,000. It was never delevered on time. rather no one informed me anything till december 14th 2010. i called up and there was a very casual response that car can not be delivered as there is some problem in the company so it will be delivered on 7th of jan 2011. again it was postponed to 25th jan 2011. by this time my requirement is over.
                                    But the sorrow part is the casual attitude towards the customers by your team members.
                                    today i received a call from your office from a lady stating that 'Do you want to take the vehcle ? '
                                    again i told her all my difficulties that i have faced . she told me that you can come to the office and scold to our seniors. i felt very sorry after receiving this type of response from a very reputed company.
                                    CAN YOU PLEASE EXPLAIN ME WHERE DO HAVE I FAULT TO FACE THIS TYPE O[censored]NNECESSARY harrassment.

                                    Bharat Motors has been indifferent towards customer concerns. I bought a POLO highliner two months back (One of the biggest mistakes of my life) and there is a water leakage in the boot space. I have been following up with Volkswagen as well as my dealer, Bharat Motors, but without any luck. The car's interior has been spoilt by this glitch and entire carpet is rotten by now.

                                    They are neither taking the car for service, not contacting me (after repeated communication from my side). I don't know what to do...

                                      I have been using a VW polo for the past six months of which I had to spent around Rs.25k for its replacement of oil sump. i had noticed that the vehicle comes with a uncovered base of sump, however new vehicles are fitted with a protective shield. When I requested for the same accessory bI was asked to pay for the same. Now when that problem ha dbeen settled i noticed a crack on my windshield ( front). when I consulted a service person he says that is because of extreem exposure to sunlight. please note the tempereature of my locailty has never crossed 40 degree celcius. can't your product withstand this please check on the same and suggest me with a suitable remmedy.

                                      Quaite frankly im sick and tired of getting my car fixed again and again... there should definately be a protective metal plate on the indian Polos.
                                      I had bought the car thinking that we could rely on volkswagen atleast to do their research before entering a market like india...

                                        I have booked Volkswagen Vento on 11th September 2010 by paying INR. 75000/- as booking amount.
                                        It was committed while booking that car would get delivered by 15th November 2010.
                                        I have no communication so far from dealer [Vidyut Motors, Pune] or company about this delay.
                                        I am following up with sales executive and get a new commitment of fortnight date.
                                        Meanwhile, I had launched a complaint with VM customer care on 18th December 2010, but un-fortunately, up on three follows from them, I did not have any call [or resolution] from dealer or company.
                                        Today, dealer has committed a new date, i.e. 15th February 2011, which is hard to believe, considering past experiences.
                                        I am quite disappointed as neither dealer nor company is bothered to address customer grievances.
                                        This is my last attempt to seek any resolution from company.
                                        Do not be surprised if I change my mind to go for any other competitive car.

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        I bought a Vento almost 2 months back and from last few weeks, I feel a weird sound when the front wheel thru a pot hole or a hump. When I took it to the service station, I noticed that the alloy wheel was bent from inside a little. What was surprising was neither there was a scratch on the chasis or to the Tyre.

                                        They claim that the mistake is from our side. India is full of potholes and humps. I have driven few cars and I drive the same way which I drive the Vento. None of the vehicles gave a similar problem.

                                        The same problem has come to one of our known people in Hyderabad. Is it a manufacturing defect or our own?

                                        Need inputs.

Ltd. due to that have paid 50, 000/- cheque no002529 rec pit no 6655 bk date :-15/10/2011 advance booking amount. so some of my family problem i had cancelled the booking and while refunding my booking amount they told that they charge 5000/- cancellation charges did you got such practices. i am the managing Dr of Akshay Suzuki we didn't get such practices. did you get such practices in your company .still their is no reply from they side so pls look into the matter urgently and refund my booking amount to me.i am unsatisfied with dealer.waiting for Ur reply.

                                        The most unfriendly customer experience. Visited Akshay Automobiles at Malad(W) to book a Suzuki Swish. Wanted to talk to Jyoti Sharma, MD. She refused to meet me inspite of she being in her cabin. Inspite of several requests, she told her staff, I dont have time. I went to the extent that if she can meet me, I can book the scooter but was told to office person Ramchand that she does not have any time. The entire sales staff right from Sales Manager to Sales people were extremely rude. WILL NEVER BUY ANY SUZUKI PRODUCT. This word of mouth will go EVERYWHERE to all my friends and relatives. Now planning to buy ACTIVA instead. SUZUKI, AKSHAY AUTOMOBILES you are the most unfriendly dealer I have ever experienced.
