Hi,
I got my Vento MH 15 DM 9369( Diesel @ 128000 kms ) serviced from. B U Bhandari today. I had given the Car for checkup on Friday 9.10.20 and was asked to collect car as per discussion with consultant, basic charges of checking levied which I paid and to my surprise the Gear level did not operate at all. I had dropped the car in working condition 2 days back, as the ABS light shown a warning. Just couple of days back had got serving done from the showroom and spend over Rs 15000 wherein I was given a big replacement list.
During my last visit and today's visit found customers who had got their servicing done recently had come with ABS light On warning problem. Suggest pls conduct Audit as it seems its a well planned issue which is created in the car once, it is submitted for servicing. Everyone is advised to change the Sensor. Ofcourse with ABS( Braking ) very few people would take chances and will promptly come back to the service station after their recent service.
Now coming back to the issue that I suffered, after I raised issue I was told I will have to leave the car and Shutter or Gear Mechanism( whatever they call it ) will have to be replaced may be along with clutchplate. I was earlier given estimate of @Rs 1.25 Lacs with couple of things which I agreed reluctantly with full faith in Volkswagen, but today the consultant called me and told there is problem with engine Turbo and total cost of repairs would be estimated @ Rs 1.75 Lacs. So I then told him to keep the car work on hold, I really don't find the B U Bhandari workshop team competent and suspect unnecessary items being told for replacement. However, since this issue of Gear not getting engaged, I was forced to leave the car. It was @ 7 pm then consultant and mechanic had a cursory look, when I asked for a repalcement car, as I stay @ 14 Kms away, I was refused, had to [protected]@ 1 km along highway to take a rickshaw to my place.
Just pathetic service. The workshop is making money for the dealer by suggesting needless and unwarranted repairs. I have serviced my vehicle there before always had some or the problem, but have no choice. Since, new automobile sales are down esp Volkswagen may be the workshop team is forced to do so by the dealer. I recently made an enquiry with Volkswagen helpline to buy a Automatic POLO GT for daily city use, but will now think of alternatives, as my blind Trust for Volkswagen and it's Product and Service Promise are completely shattered. Plan to sell the car at salvage value that I get and my any Make in India or a Japanese or Korean make car with better service promise.
I may never think of buying a Volkwagen Car or Tiguan my Dream Car... Hope Volkswagen India MD and India Sales Head take a note of it

    I am writing this to convey my disappointment to the VW team regarding the poor after sale support and material quality. I was a person believed in the quality, after sale support and responsibility of VW in their products but in reality your team showed me VW is same like any other brands.
    As you know the key is part of daily usage as the car is So I expect VW will give at most care and quality to the lock and Keys also. In my case, the key got damaged in its third year and 24K KM's itself which is very unfortunate. And it’s very clear that it got damaged due to the poor quality of the alloy (or what material the metal part of the keys are made of) thus I believe I deserve for get key replaced without touching my pockets.

    Same time i claimed my insurance and they are approved my maximum eligibility 10K but Service team still same state that the quality issue or not, whatever it is company will not ready to take the responsibility and forcing the customer to pay the remaining. Remember the insurance company has accepted my claim and that shows it’s a clear scenario that it’s not due to any mishandling from my side.

    Second thing my headlight having issue moisture content and water droplets are getting inside the headlight
    Last time I spoke to one of your service executives and as per him the issue like moisture content and water droplets are getting inside the headlight is common issue of Volkswagen cars and it will clear you turn on the headlight.

    First of all as a service advisor he shouldn’t talk irresponsible like this. The head lights should be air tight or air ventilated properly and not designed to allow water clogged inside and clear the mist with the heat generated when we switch ON headlights.it may affect the road visibility and its very danger also.
    I always believing in superior quality of VW and unfortunately the reality is very sad
    The all 4 tyres got damaged within 2 year and 20K KM's
    Battery got Faulty within 2 year
    2 ABS Sensor replaced within 2 Year
    Headlight having issue
    Key Broken
    In all these issues i dint get any support except ABS sensor's case remaining Tyre, battery everything i purchased and headlight, key issues still on same stage
    As same as the key issue this is also a clear case of faulty part or poor quality of the vehicle parts so kindly look in to the matter and take the accountability in the both issues and replace the same as VW promising.

    Dear Team,
    how can your team to say the issue is easily resolved, the key damaged due to the material quality issue and the full amount i paid otherwise they are made me paid, then where is the customer friendly solution. paying the full amount and replace the key i can be earlier also i don't want to raise a concern. foe headlight issue they are saying they will check it is ok .
    i need a answer for due to material quality issue one part of the car is damaged and the car is under waaranty VW will support the customer to repalce the part without looting money from customer or not ?

    please give me a valid answer otherwise simply saying issue is resolved is not acceptable, they are ask me to pay the full amount of key 11821 RS and i paid to them. did you people think this is a solution

      I have purchased vw polo from Volkswagen kannur showroom kerala on 2016. Now the vehicle is 4 years old and within this time I have changed 4 ABS sensors. 2 months back I changed one and now another one got damaged. This Volkswagen company is cheating the customers and they are just squeezing money from customers. It's not a matter of 500rs or something. One ABS sensor costs 4000rs. The company is just showcasing their build quality and all and attracting the customers and they are grabbing out money from customers. From now onwards I won't suggest this vehicle to anybody I know. A number of people asked me about this and I told them about this and they changed their minds. I will continue like this. I am not spreading wrong information. I am sharing the experience that I had. SHAME ON YOU VOLKSWAGEN

        I own a VW Polo 2017 Model Highline. I had already changed ABS sensor for more than 3 times. It is frequently failing. The reason from VW Maradu Ernakulam service center is that, humidity/climatic condition is the issue. I have an extended warranty, but how many time I have to change the sensor. It is a manufacturing issue I see with every VW and skoda cars. And changing the sensor is a whole day process. In every 6 months, if the sensor starts failing, how it can justified? VW should find a permanent solution for the failure of ABS sensor.

          Hello,

          I had left my Polo for service, it was bieng picked up by a person from volkswagen. When he pivked it up the AC vebts were perfectly fine and was broken badly into pieces when I recieved the car. Naveen Gowda was the person incharge and never gets back to me even if I call.

          I have had issues with the AC vents earlier and have repaced it on the last service 1 year ago.
          I have hardly driven the car for 2000 kms, how can the vents break.

          Is volks wagen using low quality products in cars???

          Or you guys have wantedely broken it and given it back.

          Ive been facing a lot of such issues feom Apple Auto white field service centre and I am not at all satisfied with their service.

          Please look into this ASAP BEFORE I MAKE IT WORST.

            I changed my abs sensor after am getting indication but with in a month got another indication for same issue. So i want to check whether it is the same abs sensor or any other. So i called calicut phoenix vw (Kozhikode vw kerala) on aug 2020 and booked they have given me 3rd sep 2020 for service. After that they postponed the date due to non availability of sensor to 28 sep 2020. They could have informed me when atleast one week before this matter. They postponed again for 25 days and when they called me on the day before the service date and told me that you can drop the car but for sensor changing and warranty claiming it will take 3days. Idont understand why three days. I told them i cannot take leave for three days in my company. They stick on that and i was forced to postponed the date for my convenience because they need min three days for this, so this time i choose a friday
            So that i can take leave on friday and saturday bcoz one day i can save. Oct 9 was the last date i booked that is tomorrow, now they called me and said their place is under containment zone from 5th oct 2020 onwards so they are closed for one or two weeks, they will call once it is open. She doesn't have time to explain it completely seems like she was busy. I asked her when will you call, or will give the next date once it is open, she was not ready to hear what your valuable customer wants to say and in hurry she said you will get a call suddenly disconnected. What would be the image or feelings of you customers when these types of responses came from an authorised vw showroom.
            Now my doubt are
            1) is three days really needs to change an abs sensor under warranty.
            2) why they are not informing these delays once it is confirmed so that i can go to next district and take the service there.
            3) if a customer is waiting for more than 45 days why these people not giving respect or atleast showing so courtesy to hear what they want to hear.
            4) please give an answer for this matter at the earliest, because i still believe that vw is a company which they taken care their customers very well.

                I have purchased Ameo in 2019. I was very satisfied with Ameo, by its Performance & Reputation among all other Class of vehicles in India. I was using Ameo regularly & haven’t noticed any major issues. But After my second service, the Driver side AC vent came out of its position (Check attached photos) and i can notice the locking clips have been broken. I visited the Service centre (Volkswagen Vellore, Susee Motors, N0.141, New bye pass Road, Vellore-632012) But the Service incharge confirmed to me that the locking clips are broken and this unit will not be under warranty. I never expected this type of serious AC vent dislocation problem within 35000Kms Usage or 18 months. As you can check my regular service records at VW. Even the Car Battery has failed within 18 months and due to an emergency i couldn't complain VW on this, so i was in a situation to replace the Car Battery which cost me 8k. But as VW promised during the time of purchase about the 100000kms or 4 Years warranty for the Car. This Vent issue is a Design Problem. This is not a Wear and tear part or cannot be accessed to make it defect. Hence in order to find a solution for this issue, I was obliged to write a mail to you about the captioned subject. It is very unusual that Vents Dislocation happened so early during 30k Kms with World’s Most Reputed Automobile Company - VW. I am very upset with VW & not ready to bear the cost again for this unacceptable reason. I am expecting your favorable reply with immediate effect, I have worked with Hyundai and Benz Auto MNCs and have good relation with many leading auto portal executives and enquiring about this to raise an issue to recommend not to buy any VW Vehicles. Also I will definitely register a Complaint in CONSUMER COURT with all the evidence and service bills history documents and other New car purchase documents.

Even though there are enough booking on those models, we have been kept on waiting and they are convincing for other colors, which we are not all interested.                     Hi, i have given my polo car for service in ambattur volkswagen service centre. After service i am facing issue with the abs breaking system.

                    I informed to the service team at the time of my vehicle delivery. But they did not respond properly. I directly go the workshop and they treat very disrespectful.

                    I need a solution and need to fix my vehicle abs as soon as possible. I could not able to use my vehicle for a month.

                    Kindly take necessary action to fix my vehicle break issue.

                      I have a 2014 vento tsi automatic. The car has good performance, but has had abs sensors fail very frequently. My car has done, only 52000 km but during these period, i have to change all four wheel sensors twice, ie 8 sensors in a short span of time. I always do my car service in the agency only. Every time they say some justification for collecting exorbitant charges for replacing it. Average cost is about rs 4600 per unit. This would means that i already spent about rs 35000 for running 52000 km.!! I am susceptible to this kind of incidents which clearly indicates with design of the product or vechicle. Unfortunately, the service centre treat this an opportunity to harvest money from clients for no fault of the clients. They don’t even offer any sizeable discount own such occasions as matter of compassion. Every time i am at the authorised svc, i see at least two customers angry about multiple abs sensors failure. I believe that vw india has deliberately used components with pre determined failure life so that it can milk the customers for their hard earned cash. I urge vw to address the issue and either provide customers with a subsidy or discounted service for this design error. I am writing this because i tried to escalate the issue to their higher management, but no satisfactory response received except saying that i should take an extended warranty by payment of rs 25000.!! Again they use the opportunity to push their service for their benefit instead of investigating and resolving the product/design/service issue.

                      Today again a warning light flashed indicating a faulty sensor, which is very unfortunate considering the agony i faced over these period. If i go to service centre, i have to spent another rs 4500!! Please help me to stop their glorified robbery.

                        I gave my Ameo car for servicing in the Lucknow Workshop one week ago i.e. on

                        My name is Pawan Mishra and my mobile number is [protected]
                        my car number is UP 32 KE 9906
                        I was informed by the supervisor during service that there is some issue with the battery terminal and i had asked him to change the battery as it was still in the warranty period but instead he send the car without chnaging the battery and
                        when the driver brought the car to me, the car was not starting and he took back the car again to the workshop.
                        After informing the supervisor Pawan and Gaurav Singh, and other staff members involved in the case-Monika maam and one oher female staff
                        we were told that the will return the car within 2-3 days once the battery is replaced as the serciving was already done
                        All that has to be done was replacing the battery.
                        but its been more than one week and there is no notification, message or call from the Volkswagen giving us any type o[censored]pdate not even while giving the car for servicing
                        we are been kept in the dark all the time and everytime we have to call and ask the status of our car
                        I request you to look into the matter and help me get my vehicle back as i am having trouble traveling and i am forced to use the public transport inspite of having a car during this pandemic time

                          Dear sir / madam,

                          The issue that i have experienced was:
                          I booked a polo highline plus - flash red colour on 13th july 2020 from pathanamthitta showroom and they promised that, they will deliver the vehicle by 20th august 2020 & they offered me a kit worth rs 25000/- free with that vehicle. On booking, your s​howroom executive and manager promised me that 2 flash red colour polo is available with them and they have booked one for me.

                          (Actually at first, i booked the car from kollam showroom. But the pathanamthitta dealer contacted me after that and offered me that kit worth 25000, only because of that, i cancelled the booking from kollam showroom and made the booking with pathanamthitta showroom. At the time of cancellation from the kollam showroom, the kollam dealer informed me that the pathanamthitta dealer giving wrong update about the kit, as it is not available with any of the cars. Due to this i again contacted the pathanamthitta dealer to confirm if the kit offer is real or not, at that time too the pathanamthitta dealer promised me for the same.)

                          Now after making all the payment, the pathanamthitta dealer saying that flash red colour is not available with them, so i have to choose some another colour from them. Also, the kit they offered is not available. So i registerd a complaint with volkswagen for that, at that time, the dealer said that, volkswagen plant is not working, because of that the flash red colour is out of stock, and promised me that on the very next stock arrival they'll deliver the first vehicle to me. But on next arrival of vehicle, they deliver the vehicle to some other customer and have been making fool of me. Due to such improper pathetic behaviour i again registered a complaint to volkswagen, but this time the response from service head mr. Murali was hilarious, he responded like "don't you understand the problems, why are you contacting constantly".
                          If this is your behaviour, that too before becoming your customer, then what will be in future after i become your customer.
                          Whenever i tried contacting service head mr. Murali, he always said he'll call me back. So i thought of contacting pathanamthitta manager mr. Rakhil, he responded very rudely as like i was begging him for car for free.

                          Your company showroom didn't provide any of the commitment given by you, neither provided my vehicle on the committed date, nor the offered free kit, also not even gave the vehicle for the second promised way, so now i'm not going to listen to any of your conditions irrespective of whatever your problems are. I want all the things whatever your executive and manager have offered at time of booking. Your service head, manager are useless, they don't even know how to tackle a simple issue. I don't know how did volkswagen hire such people to such designation. As a customer its a request don't hire such pathetic people who doesn't know to solve the issues. Even today i contacted mr. Murali, he's on his same stand that whatever comes, he won't provide the kit for sure. Now i'm like why did i choose your company. I booked this, because your showroom upfrontly offered me the kit. So i had to cancel from the other dealer. Else i would have got my vehicle last month itself from the kollam dealer. Please look as, all the problems are from your company side due to which it got so delayed. So as i mentioned i need everything you offered my vehicle as well as that kit.

                          It occurred on: 20/08/2020
                          This meant that i booked this, because your showroom upfrontly offered me the kit. So i had to cancel
                          From the other dealer. Else i would have got my vehicle last month itself from the kollam dealer.

                          I need everything you offered my vehicle as well as that kit and need appologise from service head

                            My volkswagen 2015 model comfortline polo (Petrol) )met with an accident at Kozhikode, Kerala during journey on 1 August 20.

                            Steering was not responding and the vehicle could not turn. That was the reason for the accident.

                            I had done all the services at the right time.

                            Considering only safety and security I selected VolksWagen.

                            Now I have to spend 1.90 lakks for repair. What can I do ? What kind of safety can I expect from a Volkswagen vehicle ?

                            I have to register a complaint and I am not interested in using the vehicle anymore.Vehicle is at Phoenix VolksWagen, Kozhikode.

                            What can VolksWagen company do in my case ?

                              I purchased the car last year my free service due on may 2020. Due to lockdown we cant allowed to take car for service. When i visited later they cancelled my free service charging me 10000. Even show room is closed and reopen last month. Now they are making issue. I feel one of the worst service centre.

                                Sir/ Maam,
                                I have purchased a car from Volkswagen kanpur and 2018 and along with that i have purchased a SVP Pack (service value pack) for which i have paid 43, 669.73 rs under which i have got a benefit of 4year free service and some other benefits.
                                Before purchasing a SVP Pack i have conformed with Volkswagen that i can use this facility any where in india they said yes.
                                Then i have shifted to indore.
                                on my first service Under SVP Pack i had a talk in kanpur and they have provided me the facility in indore. On my second servicing under svp pack when i have visited indore service centre they told me we cannot do your servicing under svp pack because the payment of first servicing was not made by kanpur dealer To indore dealer.
                                Then i had a talk with kanpur service centre and call centre and from last 6 month they are saying give us 2-3 days we will do the payment and then your serving will be done in indore.
                                From last 3-4 week kanpur dealer is not responding to my call. I also had a talk in call centre they have given me complain no. CCR05430538. And assured me that they will solve the problem but till date no one is able to solver the problem.

                                        I have a polo gt tdi (Registration mh02dw2904) which was purchased on january 31, 2015.

                                        The car has constantly been serviced at vw authorized service centers during all the past years for all of the annual services.

                                        Further the car has been under extended warranty till january 31, 2020. I had even tried to renew the same, but was denied by vw india (The money was paid, and then later refunded upon vw's denial to renew the warranty).

                                        Over the years the following items have been replaced on my car:
                                        1) one injector
                                        2) 3 abs sensors
                                        3) steering rack
                                        4) mid display
                                        5) button controls on steering wheel

                                        On the 5th of august, my car was towed to the service center and i was told that there was an injector failure. One injector failed and i paid rs. 26, 000 for the repairs of the same.

                                        This week, my car was again towed to the workshop and i have been told that 2 more injectors have failed and have been given an estimate of over rs. 60, 000.

                                        This is unacceptable, and downright disappointing that vw india is cheating customers by producing parts that fail so easily, and are priced so exorbitantly.

                                        My car is located at the vw mumbai west workshop. Please look into this matter and resolve the matter.
