Let me share my first 40 days experience of buying a Volkswagen car. My car is in the workshop after breakdown on 1st Nov, 2023. My first surprise was a breakdown car mid-night on the road . Thanks for your RSA services who helped to pick my car by midnight. I received a call the next day from the workshop with a repair bill.
I was shocked to see the first bill of the car within 40 days after purchase. I was not convenineced with workshop...

I purchased VW Taigun (KA51MU9578) from KUN Volkswagen, Bangalore car was delivered to us on August 7th, 2023.

It was a smooth ride for the first 3 weeks then the issue started with Clutch. We encountered a burnt smell from Vehicle Clutch on 3rd week after the purchase just before the first free service call from KUN Volkswagen.
We felt it was weird for a brand-new car and even reported to the service team about the issue but the team dismissed it saying the Clutch is absolutely fine and it is in good working condition.

But, now on Nov 14th after 3 months the car broke down in the middle of the night pertaining to Clutch failure!
Strongly believe this is purely an issue with Quality control and would like to get a proper explanation from the VW India team this has to be covered under the warranty.

    VW Taigun clutch issue repeated within 1 year - reg.

    I am Dr. Kamalakannan, Currently resist. At Chennai, Working as Assistant professor in a reputed University.
    In the month of August, 2022 I bought VW Taigun Comfort line MT.
    Vehicle Number : PY 05 M 7696. ( Purchased at Pondicherry showroom, but it was transferred from Chennai showroom before the waiting time)

    Myself, Dr. Varsha Satyajit Wadhokar, booked VW Vertus GT Plus 1.5 TSI DSG car through BU Bhandari dealer at Wakad, Chinchwad, In 3rd week of Aug.

    I availed car loan of Rs.[protected] from HDFC Bank and paid full amount to the dealer in Aug. 2023 itself.

    It was surprising to see when I received the RC book with car number MH 12 VV 4312, when my residence address is at Somatane Phata, Talegaon - Pune - 410506. The car number should be registered under PCMC RTO with MH 14 starting .

    Upon requesting the dealer to get this correction done, initially they told it will be done in 10 / 15 days but even till date they could not get this done and not committing to get this done due to inability .

    With such a big mistake from the dealer and RTO office, I got car number registered with MH 12 against MH 14 which will cause lot of inconvenience to me at highway toll and many other places.

    Being Doctor I need car for daily commuting and while buying VW car I sold my old Creta car already. Finally as a gesture of mistake the dealer gave me a car for temporary use but now my bank installments are already started and I still dont own my new car for almost 3 months.

    I request to please intervene and get this mistake corrected on immediate basis and also ask dealer to pay for the inconvenience caused to me for last 3 months with my loan installments already started, my car service coupon dates also will expire early due to late delivery of the car - I need all this compensation from the dealer.

        Clutch Issue, A/C ineffective, Rattling Noise from handbrake

        Purchased VW Taigun 1.5 MT from Palace Cross VW in Bangalore.
        Sine the time i bought the car i have been facing issues with ineffective A/C, rattling noise from handbrake. I had complained it to the Palace Cross VW service Centre on all the 3 free service intervals. They were not successful in solving the issue at all.
        Now when the car has run 17k kms, found an issue with clutch. The clutch does not return when pressed (sticky...

        I have left my vehicle VW Taigun with registration number TN12AQ 6093 for repair at Volkswagen Vellore after I met with an accident on Aug 28th. The vehicle is shifted on Aug 30th. It’s almost 2 months and still my vehicle condition and delivery date is not available . This is really bad. Always I get a reply that parts are not available . I am completely unsatisfied with the volkswagen service as well as vellore customer service. There is no proper communication right from day one. Every time I call up I get the response as parts still not recieved . I am spending 2300 every day for renting a car because of this delay and with no certainty on when I will get my delivery this is becoming worse and difficult.
        Considering these service and repair difficulties I really regret making a purchase with VW . I would never suggest VW for anyone because of your worst customer support and service.
        I would VW to look into this at the earliest and do the needful for delivering my vehicle or do alternate arrangements to replace my car if it can’t be delivered at this rate …
        I expect the positive action from your side with great hope.. kindly don’t fail my expectations

          I have sent my car to Nerul Service Centre, its been picked up on 23-Oct-2023. Till date there is not a single call from Service Centre on the status of car or even acknowledgement that they have received my car for Service/Work. I have to call multiple times else they don't even bother to communicate (obviously its my car so i have to follow up)
          Every call they will say will call you back in 5mins(maybe they different time model as they never call back.

          Most unprofessional/ service Centre.

          Dont buy VW due there pathetic service...

            I got my 2017 Vento serviced from VW authorised service centre KUN Volkswagen Bangalore South, Kanakapura Road, After few days I observed that the ABS and Traction Control lights are on in the display. I immediately called the service centre and they promised to pick the vehicle and get it checked. Next day the car was taken and I was called later and told that one of the sensors was faulty( as per their diagnostics) and they have cleaned and it does not show the indication in the display. Later when they were about to deliver the car they saw that the abs indication has again lit up. They said that they would need to replace the sensor on the rear right tyre and it costs 5000 Rs. I am not sure what the cost of a single tyre sensor is? For all 4 tyres it is 12000 Rs it seems. It seems like the prices are exaggerated.

              Hi, My vehicle is a 2013 Volkswagen Polo highline registration number is AS 01 BG 6344. I got my car painted at a Volkswagen Guwahati on Feb 9 2023 and I paid roughly around 75000 for the same. The paint quality was so bad that it had more than 40 dust particles on bonnet, the door lines and dents were not aligned properly and also the paint has started to peel off on its own. So I raised a complaint on 18 March, 2023 on the Volkswagen toll free number. And that time I was informed that Volkswagen dealership has closed and my issue would be resolved free of cost when the new dealership opens. Now when the new dealership opened, the new Volkswagen dealership is denying to do it free of cost as they did not commit the mistake of poor paint Quality and they are blaming the old volkswagen dealership which was owned by OSL Exclusive group.
              So I informed this matter to Volkswagen customer support and every time I call them I get the same response that my issue is being reescalated and they would call me back with a resolution in 48 hour. But it has been 6 months since I raise a complaint with Volkswagen customer care but not a single call back was received by me nor did I get any resolution.

              Very slow and no resolution yet. All they say is that wait for 48 working hours and we will call you back but it has been 2 months and more yet no response from Volkswagen. Very poor customer service. My vehicle has been sitting in the service center since 12 September, 2023 and yet no solution. My Father had a heart attack and I had no vehicle to transport him to the hospital. I informed the customer service that I need my vehicle at the earliest due to this medical emergency. Yet they pay no heed. They are not taking it seriously. And this has caused me a lot of mental tiredness, irritation and financial loss as well as I have only one car and that too is in the service center.
              No resolution yet... All they say is to wait for 48 hours evertime I call the Volkswagen Customer Support.. I didn't receive a single call back from Volkswagen customer support and also all I hear is that the matter is under discussion. It has been 6 months now.. When will I get my resolution.

                Jio Dongle isn't activated in VW Taigun Topline even after 9 months of vehicle delivery.

                I have bought a brand new Taigun Topline model in the month of January'23 at Volkwagen Apple Auto, Whitefield show room.

                As promised by sales person, Jio dongle will be activated within a week after vehicle delivery but it is not activated.

                I have personally visited to the show room, complained to the customer care and escalated over the email but of no use.

                It is almost 9 months after purchase...

                Till May'2022 I was able to connect my phone with car via Bluetooth and all the functionalities worked properly. Later that year my phone getting connected with car, but when I attend call via handsfree from car receiver not able to hear my voice. I have complaint the same to authorized service center, I don't know what they did now I am not able to connect my phone itself.

                  Till May 2022 I was able to speak via handsfree with my polo car by connecting my phone via bluetooth. later I was not able to speak, but other functions got worked properly, in the last service I told the authorized service center to check the problem. I don't know what they did now I'm not able to connect any of our phone with car. Even not able to enable carplay.

                    This is a repeated complaint for my VW Polo.ABS sensors of the car is not at all reliable.Company is not looking for any permanent solution of this repeated complaint.I have changed my sensors more than 10 times.Last time i raised complaint on 2021 in this forum and it was resolved by VW.
                    Here again my ABS sensors have gone faulty which will be real safety issue for my travel.
                    My car registration num is KL03Y7878.I am doing my regular service at VW, Thiruvalla, Kerala, India.
                    Requesting for an immediate solution as the car hav not run more than 5000km after the last 2 sensor change in 2021.

I am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment regarding the persistent issues I have been facing with my Volkswagen Ameo DSG and the unsatisfactory response from your team, particularly the Workshop General Manager- Saroj Das: Lucknow, U.P, India; for my car number UP27AJ0303 (Owner Name: Premwati).

                      I have been a loyal customer of Volkswagen for the past 6 years, and I have always admired the brand's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. However, my recent experience with my Volkswagen Ameo has left me extremely dissatisfied and frustrated.

                      The primary issue I have been facing is the recurrent failure of the fuel injector in my car. Despite having the fuel injector replaced multiple times, the problem continues to persist. I have visited your service center on five occasions for the same issue, and unfortunately, each time the problem reappears shortly after. This not only raises concerns about the quality of the replacement parts but also suggests a deeper underlying problem that has not been properly diagnosed and addressed.

                      Furthermore, I am deeply disheartened by the behavior displayed by the local Volkswagen General Manager during the entire process. His demeanor has been consistently rude and unhelpful. Instead of providing concrete solutions and addressing my concerns, he has shown a lack of empathy and understanding. I was shocked when he chose to focus on a trivial matter such as my decision to replace the car battery from a local shop rather than your service center. Such an approach not only diverts attention from the main issue but also portrays a disregard for genuine customer concerns.

                      As a customer who has invested in your brand, I believe I deserve to be treated with respect and professionalism. I have always chosen Volkswagen not only for the quality of your vehicles but also for the excellence of your customer service. However, my recent experience has shattered my confidence in your company's ability to deliver on these expectations.

                      I kindly request your immediate intervention in this matter. I implore you to direct your team to thoroughly investigate the root cause of the fuel injector problem and provide a definitive solution. Additionally, I believe it is crucial to address the unprofessional behavior of the General Manager and ensure that such behavior is not tolerated within your organization.

                      I am hopeful that my concerns will be taken seriously and that you will take the necessary steps to rectify the situation.                         Hi,

                        Our Car was break down at home, so we have booked Road Side Assistance from Volkswagen to take the car to volkswagen show room for inspection and service assuming the car will be safe rather giving it to outside RSA people which was less cost than volkswagen. Volkswagen team had sent two old people who had no basic experience in handling the car. They didnt know to apply hand brake will coming out of the car and slide the car in water sump and we had been following with them with the CCTV proof and no response and they are playing blame game on others. Such a worst experience and not taking responsibility of this.

                          I got My Volkswagen Vento Serviced at Volkswagen Mysore road in July 2022 and in August 2022 only we detected that clutch plate Completely gone and Also Steel rack making Noise.

                          Do we leave our vehicle for maintenance or Do we Leave it so that these service centers can ruin our Good Cars so that we keep coming back to them for Replacement of Parts.

                          Instead of better results I have faced some problem creating in my car which were not earlier present before service like,

                          -Bonnet handle & cable by which bonnet can be opened was perfectly well...

                          Respected sir/madam,

                          I am from Gujarat.

                          I have visited Gandhidham service camp held on 25th September, 2022 by RAJKOT service center regarding service of my Volkswagen ameo GJ 18 BG 3931.

                          Instead of better results I have faced some problem creating in my car which were not earlier present before service like,

                          -Bonnet handle & cable by which bonnet can be opened was perfectly well & working before service

                          After service, cable is not working & bonnet cannot be opened (told to me by serviceman & then checked by me).

                          -wiper motor which pumps out water for front glass cleaning was in working condition & after service it is also goes in non-working condition

                          After service, motor for pumping out water must be replaced told to me by serviceman.

                          My question is that

                          Such type of camps done for what purpose??

                          Whether it is for customer convenience & satisfaction?
                          Or
                          For company benefit like "more the problem created more we can get financial benefit"??

                          It is better not to do Such camp or service than creating problem in vehicles.

                          Sometimes I feel that such services do for financial benefit of company by creating problem & ultimate loss to customer by both ways - financial loss & vehicle performance.

                          I have lodge this complain by mail to Volkswagen company on 12/11/2022 then executive from company (Volkswagen) side had contacted me but due to my personal problem & busy schedule I ask him to call back later, then he don't even bother to contact back & when I called back he didn't receive my call

                            I'm Gauravsing Girase. I purchased VW Virtus, Petrol (Topline), Reg no: MH12UW6122, Chasis no: MEXK22D2XPT000971, Engine no: DTB088502 in the month of Dec 2022 from B U Bhandari, Shivaji Nagar, Pune (Moved to Hadapsar area now).
                            From the beginning, I am facing a lot of issues with my car.
                            Firstly, after a few days of purchasing the car, I started facing the issue of noise from the engine. The vehicle was handed over to the VW service centre for repair. They replaced the engine part after a week's time.
                            Secondly, on May 2023, I met with a small accident and small damage was done to the outer parts like the mirror, halogen light and lower bumper of the car. So I raised the insurance claim to get the work done. It was rejected and I had to pay from my pocket to replace these parts.
                            Last but not least, just 2 weeks ago, I went to the service centre for the second service. I told the service person about a bad smell coming from the engine frequently in traffic areas and ask them to check that issue. But they told me a different reason for that and seems they ignored that. Why they did not check the issue even after informing them?
                            Now, just 2 days ago, while returning from the office, my car stopped running in the middle of the road. I called the service centre and they advised me to tow the car. After a hectic work day, in the rain, I pushed the car to the side road and waited 1-2 hrs for the Tow service offered by you. I reached home around 11:30 pm after delivering the car to the service centre.
                            Today, I was further informed that the clutch plate and kit in my vehicle had completely burnt, resulting in starting trouble. After spending a whole day they did not even open the car to diagnose the real issue and handed over to me the estimation of 36K based on their assumptions (Please check attached screenshot). In addition, my vehicle as of date has run around 10500 km. The technical team of Volkswagen has reported that the defect has occurred due to bad driving practices and my vehicle is not eligible for repair under warranty norms.
                            I purchased my first dream car by blindly trusting on VW brand and its German technology. I purchased the car to comfortably commute to the office in the rainy season but within 7 months, more than a month time the car is in the service centre for repair work and I have to go on a bike every time in the rain.
                            A brand like VW and its products are expected to meet customer requirements which have clearly not happened in this case. This is an absolute disgrace to the customer. Hence I'm pretty sure that the dealer sold me the demo car in the first place as from the beginning I am having trouble with this car. Now as a customer, I feel cheated by the kind of product delivered to me. Even after paying a high purchase amount, I am so much frustrated due to the service and quality experience.
                            Since the failure happened within 7 months of vehicle purchase and 10500km usage the explanation given by the VW dealer looks futile in every sense. In view of the premature failure of the clutch on my Virtus, I request VW to consider a warranty repair for my vehicle. I also request them to look into the failure of these parts in detail so that these problems won't recur for future customers so that they can refrain from humiliation as I have faced from the beginning. If it is not possible, please let me know the procedure for how I can return this car and get the refund amount.
