Dear Team,

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment regarding the persistent issues I have been facing with my Volkswagen Ameo DSG and the unsatisfactory response from your team, particularly the Workshop General Manager- Saroj Das: Lucknow, U.P, India; for my car number UP27AJ0303 (Owner Name: Premwati).

I have been a loyal customer of Volkswagen for the past 6 years, and I have always admired the brand's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. However, my recent experience with my Volkswagen Ameo has left me extremely dissatisfied and frustrated.

The primary issue I have been facing is the recurrent failure of the fuel injector in my car. Despite having the fuel injector replaced multiple times, the problem continues to persist. I have visited your service center on five occasions for the same issue, and unfortunately, each time the problem reappears shortly after. This not only raises concerns about the quality of the replacement parts but also suggests a deeper underlying problem that has not been properly diagnosed and addressed.

Furthermore, I am deeply disheartened by the behavior displayed by the local Volkswagen General Manager during the entire process. His demeanor has been consistently rude and unhelpful. Instead of providing concrete solutions and addressing my concerns, he has shown a lack of empathy and understanding. I was shocked when he chose to focus on a trivial matter such as my decision to replace the car battery from a local shop rather than your service center. Such an approach not only diverts attention from the main issue but also portrays a disregard for genuine customer concerns.

As a customer who has invested in your brand, I believe I deserve to be treated with respect and professionalism. I have always chosen Volkswagen not only for the quality of your vehicles but also for the excellence of your customer service. However, my recent experience has shattered my confidence in your company's ability to deliver on these expectations.

I kindly request your immediate intervention in this matter. I implore you to direct your team to thoroughly investigate the root cause of the fuel injector problem and provide a definitive solution. Additionally, I believe it is crucial to address the unprofessional behavior of the General Manager and ensure that such behavior is not tolerated within your organization.

I am hopeful that my concerns will be taken seriously and that you will take the necessary steps to rectify the situation. I am committed to finding a resolution that upholds the reputation and values of Volkswagen. I look forward to your prompt response and a positive resolution to this matter.

    Hi,

    Our Car was break down at home, so we have booked Road Side Assistance from Volkswagen to take the car to volkswagen show room for inspection and service assuming the car will be safe rather giving it to outside RSA people which was less cost than volkswagen. Volkswagen team had sent two old people who had no basic experience in handling the car. They didnt know to apply hand brake will coming out of the car and slide the car in water sump and we had been following with them with the CCTV proof and no response and they are playing blame game on others. Such a worst experience and not taking responsibility of this.

    Please don't ask anything which is already available and know. If you need anything mail or call directly in the given above number. Its been already 2 months running behind this issue, the car is left unattended in your workshop. Expecting your resolve in a day or two.

      Volkswagen Mysore Road

      I got My Volkswagen Vento Serviced at Volkswagen Mysore road in July 2022 and in August 2022 only we detected that clutch plate Completely gone and Also Steel rack making Noise.

      Do we leave our vehicle for maintenance or Do we Leave it so that these service centers can ruin our Good Cars so that we keep coming back to them for Replacement of Parts.

      Respected sir/madam,

      I am from Gujarat.

      I have visited Gandhidham service camp held on 25th September, 2022 by RAJKOT service center regarding service of my Volkswagen ameo GJ 18 BG 3931.

      Instead of better results I have faced some problem creating in my car which were not earlier present before service like,

      -Bonnet handle & cable by which bonnet can be opened was perfectly well & working before service

      After service, cable is not working & bonnet cannot be opened (told to me by serviceman & then checked by me).

      -wiper motor which pumps out water for front glass cleaning was in working condition & after service it is also goes in non-working condition

      After service, motor for pumping out water must be replaced told to me by serviceman.

      My question is that

      Such type of camps done for what purpose??

      Whether it is for customer convenience & satisfaction?
      Or
      For company benefit like "more the problem created more we can get financial benefit"??

      It is better not to do Such camp or service than creating problem in vehicles.

      Sometimes I feel that such services do for financial benefit of company by creating problem & ultimate loss to customer by both ways - financial loss & vehicle performance.

      I have lodge this complain by mail to Volkswagen company on 12/11/2022 then executive from company (Volkswagen) side had contacted me but due to my personal problem & busy schedule I ask him to call back later, then he don't even bother to contact back & when I called back he didn't receive my call

        Hello,
        I'm Gauravsing Girase. I purchased VW Virtus, Petrol (Topline), Reg no: MH12UW6122, Chasis no: MEXK22D2XPT000971, Engine no: DTB088502 in the month of Dec 2022 from B U Bhandari, Shivaji Nagar, Pune (Moved to Hadapsar area now).
        From the beginning, I am facing a lot of issues with my car.
        Firstly, after a few days of purchasing the car, I started facing the issue of noise from the engine. The vehicle was handed over to the VW service centre for repair. They replaced the engine part after a week's time.
        Secondly, on May 2023, I met with a small accident and small damage was done to the outer parts like the mirror, halogen light and lower bumper of the car. So I raised the insurance claim to get the work done. It was rejected and I had to pay from my pocket to replace these parts.
        Last but not least, just 2 weeks ago, I went to the service centre for the second service. I told the service person about a bad smell coming from the engine frequently in traffic areas and ask them to check that issue. But they told me a different reason for that and seems they ignored that. Why they did not check the issue even after informing them?
        Now, just 2 days ago, while returning from the office, my car stopped running in the middle of the road. I called the service centre and they advised me to tow the car. After a hectic work day, in the rain, I pushed the car to the side road and waited 1-2 hrs for the Tow service offered by you. I reached home around 11:30 pm after delivering the car to the service centre.
        Today, I was further informed that the clutch plate and kit in my vehicle had completely burnt, resulting in starting trouble. After spending a whole day they did not even open the car to diagnose the real issue and handed over to me the estimation of 36K based on their assumptions (Please check attached screenshot). In addition, my vehicle as of date has run around 10500 km. The technical team of Volkswagen has reported that the defect has occurred due to bad driving practices and my vehicle is not eligible for repair under warranty norms.
        I purchased my first dream car by blindly trusting on VW brand and its German technology. I purchased the car to comfortably commute to the office in the rainy season but within 7 months, more than a month time the car is in the service centre for repair work and I have to go on a bike every time in the rain.
        A brand like VW and its products are expected to meet customer requirements which have clearly not happened in this case. This is an absolute disgrace to the customer. Hence I'm pretty sure that the dealer sold me the demo car in the first place as from the beginning I am having trouble with this car. Now as a customer, I feel cheated by the kind of product delivered to me. Even after paying a high purchase amount, I am so much frustrated due to the service and quality experience.
        Since the failure happened within 7 months of vehicle purchase and 10500km usage the explanation given by the VW dealer looks futile in every sense. In view of the premature failure of the clutch on my Virtus, I request VW to consider a warranty repair for my vehicle. I also request them to look into the failure of these parts in detail so that these problems won't recur for future customers so that they can refrain from humiliation as I have faced from the beginning. If it is not possible, please let me know the procedure for how I can return this car and get the refund amount.

          Despite reaching out to the company on various platforms and calling customer care innumerable times, we are stuck with a car that broke down completely after the service and a second repair. We’ve now received a call listing more parts that may need to be replaced at full cost. And offers to buy a new car. This is how VW dealerships work in India- damage good cars, sell parts at full cost and profit! Customer relationship managers that scream at customers and accuse them of lying. No explanations as to what happened to the car to warrant so many parts failing within a short time after two trips to the service centre. No clarity as to any solutions. The same story every time. 10 years of owning a few VW cars, this is what it’s like. Save your money, don’t buy Volkswagen in India. Highly unethical business practices, built on swindling your hard earned money.

            Shaking Steering wheel when braking, no resolution

            I bought the Taigun in January 16 2023 and had faced steering shake while bearing since the beginning. Reported the issue twice (at 1000 km) and specifically asked for resolution in the 7500km vehicle check up on 16 June 2023. The Service Advisor at Sahibabad Service Station (Manoj) didn’t respond to my calls saying that the network is not good. I initiated the calls while the vehicle was with them. I even WhatsApp the issues in detail...

            From the time I’ve posted here first, the car has completely broken down. The EPC and ABS lights are on. We sent a fully functioning car for service and this is the state now. This is a safety issue. Volkswagen customer care has been very rude and trying to bully us into replacing parts at full cost with no explanation at all to how the damage happened after service. They’ve lied about the issue and there’s no mention of it in the service invoice or any emails informing us of the matter.They’ve been trying to fool us into thinking clutch hard and fan motor equates to a malfunctioning throttle and engine wiring, as someone not knowledgeable in car parts, I can still tell it isn’t the same thing, They’ve spent their time arguing with us and insisting we’re wrong about the matter, despite evidence to the contrary, instead of providing any resolution. They damaged the vehicle and sent it back fully aware of the risk to the passengers. We’ve received several calls about buying a new vehicle but nothing to help resolve the matter. Despite commenting here and speaking to the customer support from the dealership, we’re left nowhere. Didn’t expect such UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES from a reputed global company. Absolutely disgusted with Volkswagen India. Buyer beware! This is what you can expect as a long term customer of Volkswagen in India.

                I'm writing this email to bring to your notice the recent incident that took place
                We had recently brought Volkswagen Virtus from your esteemed company’s dealer in Andheri West in the last week of March 2023, unfortunately within 2 months after buying the car on 3rd June while driving at rational speed considering the Mumbai traffic conditions the driver side tire busted and the car went out of control and hit a divider, luckily no human life was harmed. We then replaced the faulty tire of (CEAT) with spare stepney tire of (MRF) & drove home. We had reported the same to the dealer the following next day. The service team further delayed the pickup of vehicle even after we had opted for extended insurance our car was picked on 6th of June from our residence three days later.
                As a customer we are extremely disappointed by the incident which has happened to us due to the tyre burst, for which we must pay the price for the repair now while it’s not our fault. The reason we write this to you is for you to replace the existing tire and the damages occurred due to the tyre burst.. Due to this incident, we now question the safety and quality of the remaining 3 Tires of CEAT which has come with the car. While you commit your esteemed company has received 5-star safety rating but you actually do not follow the same, how can a well known German company use a tyre which does not last even for a year.
                I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the tyre used by your company who has got a 5 star safety rating.
                After several follow ups via WhatsApp and calls till 12th June 2023 the Service center informed us that they want all repair work to be carried out under insurance claim only without getting into the depth of the tire burst. Only after several follow ups we have got the estimate which doesn’t cover tires that is on 14th June
                Is this the price we pay to opt for a well-known brand like Volkswagen and paying more money for 4 years extended warranty and services while we endanger our life as this could have been worse than one can imagine, please do put yourself and your family members in our shoes to understand our situation

                  My brand new Taigun (22BH5249D), purchased 8 months back breakdown in the middle of the road that too during peak hours leading inconvenience to general public and myself. The vehicle was run just 7939 km. It took 10 days for the service centre (Mody VW, Thane) to service the vehicle and charged ₹20491.00 as cost of spare and service charges for faulty clutch plate.

                  Is the quality of VW Taigun is so poor that the clultch plate can withstand only 8000 KM Driving?

                        Hi,
                        I have taken Taigun MEXJ22CW6NT033205 on Feb 2023 from Kumar Motors Hubballi.
                        4 Months old driven 8168km got broken in middle of Bangalore traffic. Went to Elite Motors Electricity banglore. Service center says clutch plate got worn off and quoted 35K.

                        I am not understanding 4months old car clutch car worn off. Chep product is used in VW Indea cars then.
                        Totally unacceptable.

                          After sending the car for routine service and being told it was functional and no further advice for service/repairs, we noticed the car suddenly developed a very bad starting problem. To the extent it wouldn’t start after stopping at traffic signs. We send it for repair, and we’re told the throttle has malfunctioned engine wiring is severely damaged. The car has not been driven at all- how can such major damage happen suddenly and with no justification, how was it not picked up on during the last service job? After repairing- the same problem continues and now the EPS sign has started flashing. Highly frustrated with the poor service. Requesting VW to look into the matter and provide a fair resolution. Car model: Polo Highline Petrol (AP10BE8747), Dealership: PPS Motors, VW Secunderabad- Jeedimetla. Service Advisor- Lakshman Vivek, Sreenivas.

Volkswagen customer care has been very rude and trying to bully us into replacing parts at full cost with no explanation at all to how the damage happened after service. They’ve been claiming they’ve informed us about the issue, but there’s no mention of it in the service invoice or any emails informing us of the matter. They’ve been trying to fool us into thinking clutch hard and fan motor equates to a malfunctioning throttle and engine wiring, as someone not knowledgeable in car parts, I can still tell it isn’t the same thing, They’ve spent their time arguing with us and insisting we’re wrong about the matter, despite evidence to the contrary, instead of providing any resolution. Will not recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle from VW Secunderabad if this is what a long term customer is treated like. Absolutely dismal.

                            Hi this is Arun from bangalore I have passat highline 2019 model. I'm repeatedly coming across the issue in the coolant oil tank leakage and not resolved yet inspite of giving multiple times to fix the issue (spent 4.5 lakh). After changing the head and all the engine work vehicle was fine for 3 months and again its started. Now the dealership is not able to understand why this is arising continuously. Otherwise the vehicle is very good in performance and its features. This is the reason I want to retain the vehicle inspite of repeated complaints. But I'm disappointed and I requested the service manager to arrange the alternative vehicle till the problem is fixed but they are giving some excuses. I request VW to look into this as one of the priority and sort out this issue ASAP.

                              Am highly disappointed with the purchase of NEW Virtus 1.0L AT from VW.
                              I bought Virtus 2022 model 1.0L TOPLINE TSI AT (Regd No : KA01MZ3604) on Apr 16, 2023 and right after 5 days of delivery started seeing "Third brake bulb failure" Notification very randomly. I have provided all the proof of issue and given the car for service 2 times already to "Apple Auto Pvt Ltd, Whitefield, Bangalore '' and they couldn't even find out the root cause of the issue after diagnosing the car twice. Without finding a solution, they just delivered the car back to me for observation even after showing proof of issue. And nevertheless to say that the service provided in terms of car cleaning and issue diagnosis was very very bad.

                              I don't want a Brand new car to have any issues after spending a lot of money, and I didn't expect this kind of issue from a premium company like VW.

                              Please take immediate action to rectify the issue, or return my money back.

                                Pathetic experience with VW India

                                This is regarding the pathetic experience I have been experiencing with the VW center in Jalandhar India, Registration number of my car- PB37K0707, chasis number-: MEXE22D24NT003665. I have been facing issues with my VW Virtus Topline since the 2nd month I purchased it.

                                Firstly the AC had several issues and driver side was not functioning properly also there were serious water leakage issues from the AC...

                                Taigun - Clutch failure in just 11K kms.

                                I am Aswin Kumar, Resident of Chennai,
                                In the month of August, 2022 I bought VW Taigun High line MT.

                                The reason I opt for Volkswagen, for its quality, safety and reliability of car.
