Dear volkswagen team,

I have purchase volkswagen vento 1.2l tsi on 30/10/2018. Regn: tn-11-aj-3861.

I have called your customer care toll free number [protected]. Mr. Satya has taken and call and informed that volkswagen doesn't have this information and that i should contact the dealer.

I would like to get the confirmation from volkswagen team and not from the dealer. Please understand that i have purchased the car from volkswagen and my service/warranty is a contract with volkswagen and not local dealership. Hence, i expect to cross check dealer communication with volkswagen itself.

The dealer kun volkswagen has charged me the following parts during my first year service.

Are the following items mandatory during the first service of vento 1.2 tsi. I would like to know the mandatory items as per volkswagen:

1. Wheel balancing for an alloy wheel (Mandatory / optional)
2. Wheel alignment (Mandatory / optional)
3. A/c disinfectant (Mandatory / optional)
4. Paint protection uv (Mandatory / optional)
5. Windscreen/wiper cleaner part code g-052164m1 (Mandatory / optional)

I don't feel that the above are mandatory to maintain warranty. It should not have been told as mandatory to perform and charge the customer.

What is the use of wheel alignment and balancing if tire rotation is not done. This is counter intuitive and insane.

Also, the labour for first service has been charged at inr.2584. Isn't the first and and second year service under warranty supposed to be free, meaning without labour charges?

    I am from jorhat, assam and i own a volkswagen polo 1.5 tdi highline - night blue since july 2015. Registration number as03r0777. I was really happy with the performance/efficiency of the vehicle.
    But on the 19th of september 2018 i took my vehicle to osl volkswagen, guwahati which is around 300 kms away from my place for the replacement of brake pads, brake discs and abs sensor, wipers, etc.
    That was the only job requested by me.

    There was not a single mention of a software update to be done and they did it without my consent and since then my vehicle has been acting very strange.in the following points i describe my issues :

    1. Significant power drop - no surge of power from 1500 rpm and the engine is revving really high[protected] rpm) to deliver power which was previously delivered at lower rpm’s[protected] i feel like i am driving a polo 1.0 mpi
    The car doesn’t pull in second gear and third gear which it did previously. That was the only thing i appreciated about the car i. E the brilliant engine performance before the update and now after almost a year o[censored]sinh the vehicle like this it is losing more power and becoming more sluggish. There is no turbo kicking in feel which was there before the update.

    2. Diesel clatter/engine jerk - clatter has increased a lot and i have driven the car for about 7000 kms after the update. There is no decrease in clatter and engine jerking is still persistent which was not there before the update. Before the update the car was smooth and clattering noise was very minimal.

    3. Power drop when turning on ac - while turning on the ac while driving you can feel the car losing more power and becoming sluggish and if you turn off the ac the lost power is restored. This was not an issue before the update. There was minimal power loss before the update when turning on ac. It was barely felt. Now it is much more pronounced.

    After they updated my car i asked the service people at osl volkwagen, guwahati to revert back the update to which they directly refused and i visited them the next day i. E 20th september 2018 once again and there was still no help. They updated my brilliant car without my consent and now i am really disappointed with my car.
    I regret taking in my car for service that day till date.
    I want the older firmware to be flashed onto my ecu which i was using previously. I did not sign up for this update and i want my vehicle fixed. I have also called them several time regarding the issue but i have received nothing from their part.
    I did not drive for more than 300kms to get my vehicle get messed up.
    I purchased this vehicle for the punchy performance and refinement it offered and not for this tractor sounding like thing with sluggish performance which i am stuck with now.

    Volkswagen india you have officially ruined my car and i need you to fix my car or else i am taking this to the higher authorities.

      Please be informed that we have purchased volkswagen-ameo-highline petrol from osl exclusive pvt ltd, kolkata against invoice no.257 dated.31.07.2016 having registration no. Wb02 aj9765 and also purchased
      Vw care plus (Ameo) by making payment of rs.51, 583/-
      In this connection, please be informed that we have sent our car for servicing to their topsia road workshop, kolkata. After enquired, we came o know that the service of my car has been done but unable to handover the car because of not getting clearnace from accounts department. But regret to inform you that in such a big house nobody is bothered or taking pain to give reply when they will release our car.
      We had faced the same problem in our earlier also but that time they informed us that in future this problem will not arise.
      As such, you are hereby requested to kindly take the proper action and arrange to delivery of our car

        My vehicle (Vento 1.6 mpi petrol) was due for service, thus i contacted whitefield volkswagen (Apple auto) and asked them for an appointment and left my vehicle for service on the scheduled date. I didn't have any complaints on the vehicle's performance thus informed the sa to do a regular 2nd service with oil change and other air and oil filter replacement. I also asked them to do an extra round of checking as i would be going for a 1500+kms long drive and the vehicle shouldnt give any problems.
        However, upon receiving the vehicle after the service is done, i encountered a very scary problem on the highway. My car was shuddering every time i brake in highspeed, the vibration was coming in the front of the car which is very much palpable in the steering also. The whole issue shook my confidence in driving as i guessed there is a serious problem in the braking which never happened before the service. The braking issue happened right after the service, which means the technicians in whitefield volkswagen had done something very wrong. For the negligence in vw service i had to face a huge trauma while i was in the highway setting up a long drive for 1500kms.

        I contacted the bangalore whitefield volkswagen and updated the issue but by then i was already on the highway. This completely ruined my travel and caused a huge inconvenience. I had to connect davengere and goa service centers (Mr sameer - mody auto corp) to fix my vehicle on the go as there were no other option. But no where i received help and had to comeback to bangalore with a faulty brake and huge fear in mind that the car might give up any moment. I really dont know how you can compensate for this as this was a very unpleasant experience for me and moreover there was a fear of my life, even after spending 16k inr for a full service at your service station. I am very very disappointed and dont think so i will ever visit apple auto for service again. Thanks for putting my life in danger.

          I have provided my car for checking. However while returning back the vehicle the lock which is used to open bonnet was broken by volkswagen service engineer and the broken parts were place in the car as it is and were not fixed.
          When i called to service center they asked to send an email with screenshot which i did and even after that i got response.
          This is really a pathetic way of providing service.

            We from south of tamilnadu (Vallioor) went to chennai for an emergency where our car tn72ax8368 met with an accident on saturday 25aug19. Obtained police report and informed who asked us to get an estimate from your service center in chennai to process the claim. Accordingly went to volkswagen service center at whites rd, royapettah where the service agent mr. Ravi and head of svcs mr. Krishnan acted indifferently and refused to provide an estimate, however, they would provide on payment of 5% cash of the estimate cost, which will be regularized once the job is done. I refused and warned that i would report to higher ups and left. I informed our insurance agent and seevice manager in tirunelveli. I don't know what transpired ravi later called me and informed me that the estimate is ready and come and collect it. Since i had already agreed with our insurance agent and the service manager that i will get the repair done at tirunelveli, i informed ravi about it and thanked their lousy service rendered to me. Now because of them i am driving the car in and around chennai with the damaged boot door and bumper. Wherever, i park the car, the anti theft alarm is getting activated and making loud noises disturbing the neighbours sleep. Had the staff had given the estimate i would have my car got it repaired in chennai and now i have suffer and make others also suffer because of these two indifferent staffs your dear has.

              My volkswagen polo has got failure with it's injector. The service man told me that it's because of the bad fuel you used. But no other cars of mine got these problems after using the fuel from the same petrol pump. They told me to change the injector which cost upto 27000 which is a big amount for me to change a injector. From my understanding this complaint has been shown to other volkswagen cars too. So this must be consider and the company must do something for this. Hope they do so.

                I had sent my car (Vento automatic) for service at volkswagen service centre in nagpur (Sadiq motors). When i received my car back the car keys were broken. I tried contacting the concern person at the dealer by it took me 5 days and they denied that the key was broken by them. Similer think had happened with the arm rest long back of which i had complain to the the company but nothing happened and they say that it was replaced, i asked them to provide the documents which say it was replaced and till date they are unable to provide that. Now also i tried to contact the company but with no reply and now they again diverted me back to the dealer and dealer in turn is offering me 50% discount on the key which they have broken. How can you help me

                  I purchased my volkswagen vento tdi on january 2015 from volkswagen patna. Its been 4 1/2 years and the car has just driven 38000kms and i suddenly experience loss of power of middle of highway while returning home. The coil light starts to blink and the check engine light comes on. So, i stopped the car and parked it on the side of the road to check whats the issue. Seeing knocking issues on the engine while the engine turned on. I called up the sevice manager of volkswagen patna and he connected me to a technician for advice. He asked me exactly whats happening and after i adivised him the problems, he asked me how far was i and i told him 30 kms. So, he advised me to drive slow between 20-30 and max 40 to get home as it happened at 7:30 pm. I drove it back home somehow slowly keeping patience. Next day, i took the car to service centre and the technician examined the car by disconnecting the fuel injectors simultaneously one by one. He found out that injector 1 and injector 3 are dead. I asked him to run a check with his laptop to confirm the exact error. It came out to be cylinder 1 and cylinder 3 injector circuit error. I asked the service centre people what could be done? And they are like its gonna cost you approx rs 50000 to fix that. I did tell him that its manufacturing defect and this issues is allover the internet. They said that you car is out of warranty so we cannot do anything. And one of the service managers clearly told me in private that even if you email the company or post or tweet them, no action is gonna be taken, as company never agrees that its the injector issues. They ll always blame it on the fuel.
                  What i dont get is how come other expensive as well as cheap cars run on the same fuel as ours but nothing goes wrong their cars but the volkswagen vento fuel injector dies. The technician also said that the fuel is mixed and i challenged him that you give me in writing and i have all the bills from where i have filled up. You write that and i ll file a case against them. He suddenly changed his words stating that it might be an electrical failure and this always been a problem with volkswagen vento and the entire service team was aware of it and couldnt do anything about as the company denies it.

                  I have read so many blogs and complaints of people about the fuel injector problem and now its my turn.

                  Volkswagen india doesnt reply to your emails regarding these issues as its their manufacturing fault. If this is what you called german made, then i feel you shouldnt buy german cars as they are shame on other german products.

                  I really dont care about why the company does this but this somthing that i ll not bear. Volkswagen india should bear the cost the fuel injectors repalcement and replace them for free as its a manufacturing defect.

                  I just serviced my car 7 days back by paying rs 15000 as their ssrvice cost rose form rs 11000. Thats not issue but another expense of rs 50000 plus extras. This is like you can buy a motorcycle with the service cost of a car.

                    I purchased wogesvagen ameo highline AT diesel 2.5 months back driven 3500 kms while driving in watrelog car got stopped on 10 th aug 2019 then called for roadside assistance after 2 days car got shifted to near by wv service station mysore on 12th august 2019 they told repair will cost around 7.5 lacs then called to tirupati wv service station(PPS MOTORS) they told took car to tirupati because you purchased car at tirupati so asked for arrange toying to tirupati then car got shifted to tirupati on 15 th aug 2019 then till 19 morning my self called to insurance people for status that insurance bharathi axa general insurance person told it wont cover in insurace because while doing insurance at the time of vehicle delivery they didnt covered any riders so for the mistake of PPS MOTORS WOGESVAGEN people i have to pay for repair..going to file cases on wogesvagen (if vehicle enter into water log it is an emergency should open engine and make dry and again put oil and should be done atlest in 24 hrs but road side assistance took 2 days) going to file case against PPS MOTORS (neglected in doing insurance not covered riders and failed in informing and arranging surveir and should take necessary measure because it is flood vehicle but till 22 nd nothing was done except arranged for primary survey ..)sent lawer notice and informed to bank (car in sbi loan) so my advice dont take wogesvagen cars not at all a good option and better dont take cars from PPS MOTORS..Because irresponsible people and while taking car or byke see all riders sholud be covered..Dr aniradha vijaykumar

                      Volkswagen sold me a defective vehicle (Mexe19603kt086167) which had two defects:

                      1) oil leakage: this is the defect from day one where there is oil leakage, the company took this lightly

                      2) breakdown: the car suddenly stopped when it was coming back from the service centre where the previous issue was fixed.

                      The company is not giving me anything in writing, and are forcing me to pick up the car where these issues were found

                          I have been a proud owner of vw vento diesel since 2017 with the safety, stability and comfort it had provided during long or short journey. I have been recommending my family & friends to test drive vw vehicle before they make their decision purely on basis of my experience with this car and service centre till now and have been following all their advice to replace parts without hesitation even when i knew other would term is as not necessary or required.

                          The current encounter with the mody auto corp service centre located in mira road has disappointed me, the car was picked up by driver on 23rd july 2019 for replacing front windshield which developed leak only after two year of replacing it (Reason state sealant gets dried up)/ minor denting painting. It was promised to me that the car will be delivered back on 5th august 2019 which was further delayed by 4 days with a reason of delay as “workshop being closed due to heavy rains on 2nd aug”.

                          I was informed by crm that the car was already moved to stock yard and there is no damage to it due to water logging in the area of service centre, to which i informed her about expensive audio upgrade done my me being a music lover where i was informed by her there is no damage to the car. She informed me on 8th aug that car will be ready and will be delivered on 10th august which turned out to be false promise.

                          After following up multiple time on status of the car on 10th aug, i received a call from service center head spilling beans of disastrous news with car interiors been damaged by water as driver had kept window down however she assured me workshop will cover all expense and the car is still at stock yard. The extent of damage to car was horrifying when i had a first look on 12th aug, where i learnt rear seat was removed, boot was all in bad shape, dsp and monoblock placed in cabin were already removed by service centre and i had to ask my sound vendor to come visit workshop with me to assess damage, yet again i was promised by crm that workshop will cover for all damages either repair or replacing the devices.

                          The extent of damage assess by my sound system vendor on 13th aug, leaves me in no doubt that entire vehicle was submerged in water and service center head assured me of all support and fixing damage however after few follow ups on 13th / 14th and 16th aug she informed me they will not be able to cover for damages as service centre cannot claim accessories. I had been expecting a call from general manager for past 4 days which never came.

                          I see the entire episode as bridge of customer trust and patients which i have lost now with this service centre and reaching for your support.

                          My expectation is the damages that happened during the custody of car in service centre should be owned by them by replacing faulty parts and customer should not be impacted as this is a matter of brand image for vw and mody auto corp else why would someone buy such a car of visit service centre.

                          Following were damaged

                          Digital sound processing unit from audiotec fischer
                          Mono block from powerbase
                          Speakers on right hand side not working (Front component / rear coaxial) from audiotec fischer
                          Speakers on left hand side needs servicing from audiotec fischer
                          Space rings for all four speakers cabling all oxidised
                          Sub-woofer box damaged in boot

                          This over all setup cost me around 1.2 lakh in 2017 and what i am requesting is they replace all the devices with like for like or upgrade.

                          It’s disappointing to learn that area of this service centre is known to be prone to water logging in previous years, yet not enough corrective action is taken by mody auto corp pvt. Ltd.

                            My car no tn 07 bt 6066. No issue in vehicle and parked for annual service on[protected] as it crossed 15000 km from previous service. Delivery after service on[protected]. Bill amount paid - rs.29019/-. After service i faced the following 1) no pick up and felt very hard with sound after 60 km speed 2) water sprayer not worked in wiper 3) gear indication in ignition not proper and shown wrong information abou t gear no. 4) ac no cooling. After a long struggle my car taken for service again by the company on[protected] and delivered again to me on[protected]. Later on only i found even after 2nd attempt the issue not resolved and for name sake they did something and cleverly handed over without charging anything. While i escalated again the issue to the company there is no proper response and action from the company and finally today morning[protected] my vechicle totally stopped on the way to my office in chennai - bangalore highways. Now i parked in a private workshop for service. It is clear that the customer we are believing authorised dealers for good service. But authorised dealers are only window dressing the interiors and outlook of the car and not attending the major issues. Luckily today ii escaped without any accident as my car stopped while running in the highway. Now i want you please intervene in this issue and compensate for my mental agony, waste of time, luckily escaped from accident.

                              I have vw vento 1.6 mt comfort-line (Mh-02-dj-7753), purchased on may 2014. Recently had an issue of a blinking "emission and coil" indicator, in between a drive. When it was taken to autobahn service centre, vidhya vihar, mumbai on 14.08.2019. They inspected the car and informed like have to replace 2 fuel injectors. One injector cost is around rs. 24500. The service centre informed me the cost of 2 such fuel injectors as rs.49000/- and since it is outside warranty, i have to bear entire cost of it. I am regularly doing service in vw autobahn workshop and last service done on 23 july 2019. No issue there at that time. My car runs only 41k kilometers as of now. After a detailed research, i found that there were so many vw vehicles having same problem, which definitely raises a question on the reliability of a world class automobile manufacturer. All cars running in india using same fuel and but these kind of complaint are more for vw vehicles. I sincerely hope that your technical/ engineering team will diagnose the issue in detail and let us know the best way forward. From the financial perspective, i believe that volkswagen india will bear the maximum cost, for its unreliability in this case, and value your esteemed customers.

                                This is regarding my car wols wagen polo wide registration number pb10gu8384 my car was immediately stopped during running on road and didn't start again even i have tried so many times then i have call to lally motors ludhiana and told them about this problem and after that they have sent tow van to pick my car. When car reached agency service advisor call me and told me that there is problem in injector i don't know who called me for this from agency. They also don't tell me that injector is not covered in insurance. After approx 1 month they called me that your car is ready please pay bill of rs 31000/- and collect your car from agency and also for your information they sent a bill of rs 5000/- and asking for rs 31000/-. But after had some words regarding this issue i have give only 15000/- from which they have given bill of rs 5000/-. What about else amount i don't know. I asked for full bill they said we have prepared you injector from outsider mechanic not from internal workshop of volkswagen. I am a prime customer of volkswagen and now i am going to file a complaint against dealer workshop. I have purchased a car from lally motors not from mechanic. Why you people are making fool of customers. I am not satisfied from your company specially from lally motors. Dealer is making fool of customers this is directly impacting on volkswagen.

                                  The power steering of our volkswagen also is too tight and causes a lot of pain while driving for long distances. One of the tyres has developed a bulge. Service centre is not solving the issue even after repeated visits. Raised complaints in customer care and even they don't respond. Really disappointed in the product and the company.                                     I had lodged a complaint (Complaint id.2368235), med 26444 on 19th june 2019 that the turbo charger of my polo car up 78 dv 1385 has mal functioned and it should be changed at the earliest as the car is in extended warranty which covers all types of engine mal function. But till date no action has been taken. On enquiry i have been informed by the service centre at kanpur that permission for change of turbocharger has not been given by volkswagen and there is some issue of volkswagen with bajaj alliance. I have to point out that the commitment for warranty was given by volkswagen and so it should honour it. I has come to my knowledge that this is the usual way that customers are harassed by volkswagen but not fulfilling their commitment and that in end do the required repairs either under pressure of being shamed on social media or due to judicial pressure. It such behaviour of volkswagen executives should exposed to the public by organising a press conference and also customers who been harnessed should shame them and the proceedings of it be uploaded on facebook and twitter.

                                      This is in regards to the incident which happened on the 22nd july 2019 that my car met with a small accident on the highway while coming back from jaipur. It was almost 8 in the night while i contacted the roadside assistance to tough my car. The individual on call asked me do online payment standing on the highway without which he would not be able to send the crane. My mother and me stood alone on the highway at night for almost 3 hours waiting for the crane did online payment. I seriously regret investing my money on such a company where there is such unethical behaviour, and what pathetic service is the company providing. Such a ruthless behaviour. My question is if i am sending my car for repair, can i not pay that amount there? I mean what kind of negligence is being trained to the employees.

                                      Second, yet again its been 2 weeks now the car is in the gurugram service station. I visited the service station just next day of the incident and they said they would repair it within 1 week. Till date, the work has not been initiated yet. The company charges a huge amount on regular service, or for any part but i must say the service delivery is zero. What kind of image do you portray? Highly disappointed with the quality of service and the in human behaviour.

                                        My car, reg no:- (Kl 53 c 3141) given for annual servicing and fault rectification on 12th july 2019.
                                        The fault was :- vehicle pick up is very low, a hissing sound comes at the initial stages when car is started in the morning.
                                        It is 17 days passed, the fault is not yet rectified till today and my mobility is hampered too much.
                                        I never expected such a situation from an international company like vw
                                        Your intervention in this regard is highly appreciated.
