I purchased polo 1.2 manual highline in september 2015. My headlight was replaced in march 2017 due to headlight adjuster not working.in june 2017, the replaced headlight started accumulating fog. On visiting the workshop they said it's normal. But the fog did not go for 4-5 hours. To which i argued with workshop people saying that in 2016 monsoon with the original headlight, it never fogged up!
The workshop people replaced 6 brand new headlights in the period between june to august 2017. But all 6 new headlight are fogging up badly even in rain of 5 minutes.

Second issue is that when i gave my car for 2 days to the workshop, a new vibration and wobbling issue has started. For which i have already visited the workshop 4 times. But every time they say that the vibration and wobbling is normal.
These people don't accept problems. Even if you they try to diagnose the problem and can't find a solution, they end up saying everything's fine and normal.

Pathetic and frustrating service with no value for customers time and money!!

Volkswagen please solve customer problems and give them a sigh of relief.

My vehicle no.polo kl38-B-7578, I give my vehicle in evm vyttila, ernakulam showroom for programming.service exicutive told me its free and assured gifts.But evm ditributor cannot give me
June'2017, at Pondicherry showroom, salesman showed me "vento highline 2016 with POLO tyres". after payment, delivered with JK tyres.
Whatever content in showroom car, the same to be delivered, why they changed the cheap quality JK brand tyres?
Can I get it replaced by POLO?

    My vento car bearing reg. No. Pb 08 dj 8701 was sent for some noise problem to your service center in jalandhar on 10.08.2017 till date the vehicle is lying there and the people told to wait for 5 days on the other hand i am spending rs. 400-500 for taxi. Moreover i wrote to customer care 3 times in last 5 days but there is no answer. That is what i didn't expected from a german car co.

      It was my first time to call any road assistance service, that too a branded company volkswagen india, on a sunday returning back from vasai, i was stuck in a traffic jam and it was raining heavily suddenly smoke started coming out from the bonet of the car. When checked i found that the radiator fan had come down and was touching the engine and the back cover was getting melted. That when i decided to call the toll free number of volkswagen road assistance 24x7. It took approx 12 minutes to answer my call after listening to the query the associate disconnected the call. I thought the call must have be disconnected due to drop in network, so i again tried calling after which it was answered after 15 mins and then without listening again the call was disconnected...

      I have never ever seen such a pathetic service been provided to the customers...

        I have given my car to the service on 8th of august. And till date that is 22nd august not a single update has been received from the service station regarding the problem with my car. Service advisor is mr suraj surverna. I have been calling him every day regarding the ypdate for my car but everytime i receive the same answer it is process. Pathetic it is for a customer to get this type of revert. It seems that the service centres and their advisors have no credibility and resonpsibilty for their very own assigned work.

          Hi, i have purchased volkswagen vento in february 2016. I have faced gear box failure back to back.
          1. Gear box failure with in hours after 15000km service. That time car was in service center for more than 30 days.
          2. Gear box failure with in 4 days after 30000 km. Now still car was in service center since august 3rd 2017.

          I made so many email request to customer care but didnot get a call back or mail.

          I am asking volkswagen company that is it a manufacturing defect or service center defect?. It looks like i got a second hand car

          I am totally upset with this car, service, customer care response.

            Respectfully i am saying that i have taken extended warranty when i purchased my vehicle dl 8c y 1839.
            But when i visit your volkswagen rajdhani workshop on 22/6/17 for some complaints in my car. On observation by your technical team give some remarks about my car. On asking him that these parts come under extended warranty then get it change. But he convinced me by saying that these parts doesnt come under extended warranty these parts are paid by customer. I am attaching the bill detail of 22/6/17.

            Again i send my car for paid service on 4/8/17 and requested to solve my problem but know your advisor is saying that these parts are included in extended warranty but your vehicle is not registered under extended warranty so we can't replace them.

            I purchased my car from your authorized dealer globus cars pvt ltd on 1/7/13 and i also purchased extended warranty on the same date. I am attaching the original invoice of car and extended warranty detail. Why my car is not registered under extended warranty your dealer done fraud with me. I have purchased car from volkswagen not from some local person. Globus car pvt ltd are dealer made by your company. Today i am getting this news he has withdrawn the dealership. He has done fraud with me by taking money for extended warranty and not registering under company level.

            I respectfully request you to solve my problem as i am liable customer of volkswagen.

              I gave my car no mh46ap4917 at autobahn automotive workshop on 7 august 2017 for attending following ;
              1. Backbumper repair and painting (Insurance claim)]
              2. Water ingress and fog creation problem in left headlight and break noise
              The vehicle was returned on 11 august after attending problem no. 2 and due to unavailability of part for problem no.1 mentioned above. However it was noted that problem of head light water ingress was still persisting.
              3. Vehicle was again given to workshop for attending head light problem and backbumper repair on 16 august and vehicle was dropped to my residence after informing that all work was completed.
              4. To my utter surprise after receiving the vehicle it is found that water ingress and fog creation problem is still persisting.
              5. This is harassment to me as for same problem vehicle is required to be given two times and still problem not resolved. I am not sure if competent persons are available at workshop or it is negligence issue. This has also caused inconvenience due to keeping the vehicle for longer duration at workshop for attending same problem.
              6. This kind of problem i have faced in previous occasions also for some other issues.
              Request to take a serious view and provide me a permanent solution.

                Hi,

                Greetings!
                This is with regards to the feedback submitted for the rat bite issue.
                Below are the queries raised by me to the customer service of volkswagen. However there has not been any satisfactory response from them. The customer service assigns the ticket to the service centre team and they state this as product issue.
                There fore i am forced to pay for the damages.
                The workarounds suggested so far are:
                * tobacco leaves inside the engine of the car
                * naphthalene balls inside the engine
                * keeping the bonnet open
                * keeping surroundings clean
                Please help on this.

                  I buy a new Volkswagen polo car battery from Chandigarh Phase-I Industrial Area since 1-Jan-2016. Now, this time my battery was not responding. It was totally disable and not able to charge. I lost my invoice of my battery. I asked the Chandigarh staff to send me a copy of invoice because i shifted amritsar from Chandigarh. But they say no to me, they said to me that we have not previous data. we lost all data backup.
                  Amritsar Volkswagen company Manager told me that you have to manage Invoice of your battery otherwise u have to buy the battery again.

                    Dear Customer service team,

                    I have purchased Volkswagen Ameo comfort line petrol in August 2016, however at the time of purchase I have clearly confirmed about the service charges from the sales team and the General Manager sales @ Modi showroom at Kandivali West, Linking Road and they have rest assured me that the service charges shall be around 5-6k and depending on the conditions of the car and first inspection checkup shall be free.

                    However, when I call the service centre (North [protected]@ Meera Road) they bluntly total me that the service charges will be around Rs 12000 and may be more, this was to my shock and I have requested them that I was been total at the time of purchase that it shall be around Rs 5-6 k now there is a almost double what I have been promised at the time of purchase.

                    The service centre executives of North Mumbai @ Meera Road are not ready to listen and moreover they show attitudes and told me that if the sales people have told you then ask them to pay the rest of money on your behalf. Now this was even hard and shocking.

                    I request Volkswagan India to look in to this matter and promptly respond before it's too late to damage the brand image.

                    I am sure necessary action and solution to this matter quickly responded by Volkswagen.

                          I have purchased a polo diesel car in may 2016 through abra motors, chennai.
                          After 7 months, the car failed to start due to battery failure. The battery was then charged. When the vehicle was sent for the 10000 kms service, the scan report indicated that the battery was in run-down state. The battery was again re-charged over-night by the company and informed me that the battery is o. K.
                          I requested the service advisor to replace the battery since the battery has to be re-charged twice with in one year. I was assured that their should be no problem with the battery and in case of the battery problem persists, he assured me that the battery will be replaced.
                          On[protected], the car failed to start due to battery problem and after contacting the company, the vehicle was jump-started and driven to the company. It was found that the battery is completely dead and need to be replaced with a new one and i was asked to pay the full cost of the battery. After much deliberation, i was asked to pay 50% of the cost of battery ammounting to rs.4500/-.in spite of my valid arguement that the battery was found to be defective with in the one year warranty period, i was forced to pay rs.4300/- on[protected] and took delivery of my car.
                          Kindly look in to the matter and arrange to re-fund the ammount paid by me towards battery cost at the earliest.

                            I bought a vento highline diesel in december 2010.in march 2015, the car developed engine problem after doing 40k kms. The vehicle was towed to evm service centre in ernakulam and the problem was traced to one defective fuel injector. Once this was replaced, the car still gave problems. Finally all the 4 fuel injectors were replaced with so called modified filters. We were told that there is a 2 year warranty on these new injectors.
                            In august 2017, whilst on my way to kottayam from ernakulam, the car stalled. On calling the vw helpline, i was told to drive the car slowly to the kottayam service centre. After arrival at the service centre, on investigation i was told that no.4 fuel injector is defective and needs to be replaced. Cost was 24k for one injector. On demanding an explanation as to the failure of this part, the reason given was adultrated fuel. On arguing that why only the vento has injector problem and no other brand having this issue despite using same fuel, they had no answer.

                            I strongly feel that vw cars are not suited for indian roads. Frequent breakdowns coupled with high maintenance costs is the norm with vw vehicles. I made a big mistake by opting for this brand.

                            My honest advice to prospective vw customers - do not buy vw vehicles.
                            When i expressed my desire to go for a vw, i was strongly advised against this idea. But i ignored this valuable advise which i deeply regret.

                            Company dealer us not give a satisfaction answer.and i was puchase jetta 2014 and now one tire was default . I was purchased these jetta because I was see these car safety. But now i dont feel safety in these car . SO ALL PEOPLE I REQUEST DO NOT BUY VALKSWAGEN CAR.

                              I have a polo comfortline. Recently i faced an issue with my car and here is the experience, unfortunately problem isn't resolved yet-

                              Issue - car wasn't starting, found plug and starter wire cut!
                              After discussing with insurance team and vw customer care, i got to know that this is not covered in warranty or insurance. I don't understand how come my car can have wires cut after just 400 kms (It's a new car). Also if such parts are not covered in warranty or insurance, how come car design has such crucial parts exposed? Service center people said that most probably rat could have done this. Not sure how come a best car company has kept such part exposed for rats to mess up with. (Just to note, i park my car in the clean parking area).
                              Finally i was left with getting it serviced. So now car is with the service center in pune for last 10 days still they have not replaced those wires.
                              How come one has to wait for almost 2 weeks and still no final date shared as when can i get the car back.
                              This service center is in pune, the same city where vw has factory, still i have to wait because service center doesn't have wires. Very nice!
                              Overall i am extremely dissatisfied with the service as well as this wires issue. This is my first experience with vw and that's exactly opposite to what company says.
                              I see it as bad parts and worst service.
                              Hope to get the car back at the earliest.

                              Here is an update on this request:
                              After posting this, I got a call from VW Care on Saturday morning and they connected me with Vidyut Motors Service Manager, who acknowledged the delay and promised call back in few mins. Now today is Monday and still I have not received any call or status.
                              Funny part is, Saturday afternoon I got a notification SMS saying that my car is ready then I called service person and he said like it was meant for some other car and got sent to me mistakenly.
                              Today I called VW Care and they told me that they can see that Vidyut Motors placed wires order today. I myself had diagnosed this problem and asked to order these wires 15 days back. Today this order is placed.
                              I want VW to pay for the cost now because they kept me in dark and kept my car for 15 days for no reason.
                              This is ridiculous. I have no hopes from VW now.
                              I didn't know VW has such serious service problems.
                              Anyone please help me with process to escalate this further?

                                I own a vento diesel car from volkswagen company in mysore but sorry to say that the service and the durability of the parts of the vehicle is very very poor.in the first 2 and 1/2 year of my purchase of the vehicle i had to face egr defect in my vehicle and to rectify the same the company said it will cost rs. 45, 000/-. I got it rectified. Now again after another 2 yrs the same egr problem has arisen and again the company people say it will cost rs. 55, 000/- to rectify it. Its very shameful to a company like volkswagen to have such poor quality of parts in its vehicles. Please look into the matter and give a solution.

I have an icici insurance with extra premium of my car bump to bump. Volkeswagen told me that we have not tie up with icici bank so its not possible for cashless. But icici told me that we will do cashless so dont worry. But when my car is ready on that time volkeswagen told me sorry for cashless and icici told me we will do cashless. But customer is irritate between volkswagen & icici bank. Icici supporting customer but volkswagen not supporting customer & also very poor services.                                     I have given my polo car (Numbered with ka05mq7387) to volkswagen service station in mysore. To verify the engine heat alert sign which was showing to me. Initially they took 1 month to get it fixed and charged me 46000. But issue was not resolved, i got the same problem after passing showroom gate. Then, i have given my car back to recheck the same. Its been 2 more months long now. No update from service station, no frequent followups, careless staff. I'm gonna share this feedback across all social media. I didn't expect these kind of service from volkswagen india. I need immediate call back from concerned people/team.

                                        My vehicle no is ka-35-m-9148 and i am staying at jsw steel bellary, i was given serviced to hubli past 1 and half month back at your authorized show room at that time i came to know one part i. E steering rack is damaged and it is not available at that time and assured it will be available for next 4 to 5 days, again i will send the vehicle to showroom after 15 days but the part is not available and assured to replaced next days but wad no again they assured me it will be available next 4 to 5, again i contact to him they told me to send the vehicle and to kept in showroom it self the will repair in two three days and inform me, sorry to say my vehicle is standing over there from last 10 days even i have spended extra rs.5000 to rs, 6000 for sending vehicle again and again to hubbli from bellary and not getting any response,
                                        I am in very trouble for going to office, request kindly look into the matter and solve the issue on priority
