My name is maheshwari verma and i purchased my car from volkswagen dealer in bangalore whose details are mentioned below:

Elite motors
Bengaluru, karnataka

The car was delivered to me on the 3rd of march 2017 which is a volkswagen polo with the following details mentioned below:

Registration no: ka01mp6335
Registration date: 1/03/2017
Chassis no: mexl16604ht095345
Engine no: cjl132322
Model: vw polo 1.2 mpi comfo bsiv
Colour: carbon steel grey

So my concern is as follows:

So the date was may 26th 2017. I was in koramangala prost at around 9:00 pm and it was pouring that day. I gave my car for valet and headed for dinner. We left that place around 12:15 in the night and realized that it being a low line area the water level was high. So i immediately headed to the place where my car was parked and the water had got into the car and the water level was till my ankle.
I was with my colleague and when i started the car it was all fine. Since the water level was high on the road we were at a speed of not more than 15 to 20. We got the car out of the water and on normal roads maintaining the same speed and all of a sudden the air bag deployed with no impact on the car.

Please note: we had other cars also there but none had problems like mine.

Ideally as read and heard when a air bag deploys you can't drive your car, but i didn't have any trouble driving my car to my house which is around 5 to 7 kms in distance from where i was. I got my car towed from my place and have it sent to the service station on the 27th of may 2017 at around 6:00 pm as the rsa was not available before that.

I also went to the showroom and insured my car had reached there and did the necessary paper work and was told that the car will be inspected on monday i. E the 29th of may 2017. However on monday when i followed up there was no inspection that had happened at all and no one from vw got back to me either. On tuesday i get a call from the person who was going to take care of the inspection and said he will get back to me by thursday. I again went to the showroom that day and they were wanting me to claim insurance. Now my concern is as follows:

1) why was there no one attending to the car on monday? What made them take a day longer?

2) why was it not told to me before buying the car that if you park your car in a low line area and rain is expected it wont be covered in warranty? No heads up was given about anything in this context.

3) the water level in the car was till my ankle so it was definitely not that high that the sensors would have got impacted which lead to the deployment of an air bag.

4) without an impact why did the air bag open? Could it not be a technical glitch?

4) what is the guarantee that tomorrow if i am in a traffic area and then my air bag deploys will vw take the guarantee of my life or any mishap happened to me there?

You people talk about safety and vouch for customer safety first. Is that all a hoax to trap new clients and enhance your marketing and sales? Or is it that i am a young woman so you can get through a sly escape and make me go through all this and get off the responsibility that ideally you should be on it.

Its been more than a week that my car is lying there and i am tired of following up with everyone there right from the crm team to the vp sales and i havent got a solution yet.

I was told by the vp that he will be talking to vw and then he finally concluded that you have suggested this wont be covered under warranty as the car was flooded it seems.

Let me make it clear that my car wasnt flooded. It rained for 3 hours and the water level rose on the streets and water entered my car wherein the level of water was not more than my ankle as stated in the content above. So that was definitely not a flood affected area. My car is 3 months old now and this is how vw treats their first customers?

I even requested for a spare car as my work requires travel and delayed service is impacting that too. I have heard a straight no from the vp sales. I am told to claim insurance but isnt it vw's responsibility and shouldnt it be covered in warranty?

It was even stated that the air bag deploying without an impact was a first kind of a case that they have ever heard of. I am attaching the images of the car for your reference to see that there is no external damage at all.

I am very very unhappy with how vw has been treating me and the way you function. I need a solution. I shall wait for your response or else i will have to take it to the consumer forum and seek help there.

I need my car soon and i cant let it be there unattended for weeks as they said its going to take 2 more weeks to come to a solution. What if other complications occur which i am not responsible for. Will vw take ownership for that.

I am not having very positive hopes that you would do wonders for me. But i do not want to give up without trying and letting my voice be heard. I am very certain i will recommend none to go with vw as i am socially well connected and can at least have my friends and followers convinced. I will also leave no social media platform to broadcast what i went through. Being patient and nice really did not pay me off well.

    I have puchased new volkswagen ameo comfortline on[protected]. Suddenly geas of my car stopped working in less than 300 km driving on roads. At that time i have complained but still i had to pay approx. 9000 rs.

    Recently i drove the car to ahmedabad from surendranagar (125km) myself for 6 monthly (Or 7500 km) inspection. They pick up my car from ashram road, ahmedabad to narol workshop, ahmedabad on[protected]. I told them (By calling) to check if the left rear wheel is punctured or not.. I had also called the man at workshop for the same reason. But they didn't even bother to check.

    And after all these i again called for my problem but the person who picked my call at that time told me that she/he will call me back after asking the senior person.. But till now i have not recieved any reply..

    And yes, there were two screw in left rear wheel and got repaired recently..

      I’m live in faridabad (Haryana). I’m a handicap person. My both foot are not working. I went your faridabad showroom’s for new car purchase. Which i drive with hand. But youe excutive cleary deny to me there is no provision in volkswagen for you. But why. If i m handicap then its mean i’m not abel to used car. I meet the another handicap person whom used the maruti car used hand operat. But your excutive told me if i purchase new car they can not fit the hand operat system.         My vento petrol highline car mh46p1652, was given for repairs at autobahn navi mumbai on the 29th of may with subsequent 40 point check up & servicing. To my surprise the insurance estimate was highly inflated and customer has to pay 45 percent of the total amount. Regarding servicing, for last 4 days i am getting calls from the service station saying that there is multiple defects in my vehicle, i fail to understand does it take so long for checkup. Needless to say parts estimate is ever increasing day by day, my vehicle is still at the service centre. Request you to look into the matter of irregularity in this regard asap.

          It is regretted to inform you that inspite of periodic maintenance as per the prescribed schedule, my polo comfort line's fuel pump had failed which has resulted the failure of alternator as well.

          I have noticed the leakage on 29th may and immediately brought the issue to the notice of nearby vw service center and they are currently trying to resolve the issue.

          My question to you is that, inspite of following the maintenance procedure and schedule the vehicle has failed, hence i request you to write off the parts cost and maintenance services.

          There is considerable amount of delay in resolving the issue as well,, the delivery has been postponed to 9th june. This has put me in serious difficulties in day to day commutation resulting an expense in the tune of rs 9000. Request you to compensate this amount as well.

            My Vento car a.c. trips which your service centre is not able to resolve attended by Mr satnam. Hit and trials are being done. Charge g us for various things every time but in vain. Have my feedback on phone but no reply from the co. I think one should stop using your company vehicles where there is inefficient staff. Don't respond keep vehicles for 3 days but still complaint not ok.shall move to consumer court for all troubles

              Dear all,

              Greetings!

              We had purchased our volkswagen vento in 2013. The car has never dissapointed me. However, the service provider isnt that good at all. Before a few days i had given my car for servicing and on my way home i found that the window switch just got off. On complaining to the representative, he rather argued saying we can never do this. We kept requesting him, still he stayed on his words.

              Secondly, my navigation was malfunctioning. Therefore i gave to the showroom from where the car was been purchased. Shockingly i gave the navigation almost 8-9 months back and havent recieved it yet. On asking the person their, i get the feedback that it is stucked somewhere in delhi.

              I have faced alot many issues since the time i have purchased my car, till date. But, these are the biggest ones as i have to fall in the arguement with the representatives, even after knowing that i am not wrong.

              I hope you can help me to resolve this issues. Especially about my navigation system.

                My wife bought a volkswagen ameo 1.2 high line petrol from my nearest dealer Phoenix cars Malappuram 2 months ago. But mud flap were missing on car.when I asked for mud flap they said Rs 2000 /- need to pay for that including labour installation charge.I wanted to know whether ameo comes with these accessories or the dealer is doing for his benefit .

                Please look into this matter with serious concern if Volkswagen Values customers complaint's.hoping your immediate response over it's.

                    I have polo and i had given my vehical for servicing. After receiving my vehical i found my ventilation ducts damaged which was in good condition before servicing.

                    Immediately i tried to contact the servicing centre incharge and respective person but i do not received any responsible answer from persons.

                    Then i personally dropped my vehical at the centre and requested them to replace my polos part as it was happened due to bad servicing. But the team from volkswagen service centre is not in status of replacements of part at free.

                    So you are herewith requested to look into matter and give us true justice as i am purely fare from my side.

                      Complaint -1 absence of steel cap of the hand break when i took the car. I informed them about it immediately. They said they will check and let me know. It's an irresponsibility of the person to check before handing the car. Till today (I. E after 2 days also there is no response regarding that)
                      2. While and during servicing and repair there i s no call about the vehicle condition. I have to call first and then they use to respond it again.

                      It is my request to give me the steel cap of hand break asap.

                          I have Volkswagen Polo. Regarding servicing I face a very Bad Experience. The head of Service Centre Pankaj Zha responded badly and roughly regarding service issues. Service is not prompt and also inspite of Full Money disposition the servicing was not satisfactory. The issues raised in front of Service head and Servicing attendant but all neglected the issues and not properly responded.
                          So request is either give training to employees or give chance to needy and sincere person in the service centre.

I m shocked what such a big company has seen in them before giving the agency as so many people will be in the line to take e agency... It means company people are dumb or something is wrong or fishyyyy... So i request u to take care of your customers as they are conserned about money only not customer.. And i also know that no action is going to take against them as all customers are fools as they belived in complaining as they have spent lakhs of rupees trusted in your brand

                              I had given my vehicle vw polo tn01 am 5234 at kun capital alandur for repair o[censored]nder body shield in the front on 10.05.2017. The repair was done insurance. I received the 16.05.2017. The damage was under-body shield was broken. There was not other issue with the vehicle. When i drove back on 16.05.2017 from the workshop it had bumpy ride. I had an important meeting to attend so couldn't leave my vehicle. The concern was immediately informed to the body shop adviser mr. Ragav. On 19.05.2017 the vehicle was picked up from my residence on 19.05.2017. The vehicle kept for a 2 days and i get the feed back that the rear shocker need to be changed.
                              When i gave the vehicle at the workshop expect the under-body shield rest was good no issue at all. Now i don't understand how will the rear side will have problem when the repair was given for front.
                              I have totally lost confidence on vw dealership. If this the case the customer has to always with the vehicle.
                              Instead of rectifying the issue the more additional expenditure is added.
                              I need the issue to be checked and clarified.

                                I am amit singh i baught polo in year 2014. Now i am very angry with the service poviders who are spoiling the reputation of company and the people associated with it. I was about to burn the car i was so fedup, still i am. The whole story is like this i went to change the bumper they canged it but left the back reflector borken as it was earlier. That was in pathankot punjab india.2nd went for service again this time in patiala, machanic says need to change whole wire system i said ok. He did it later when i went outside to show it to another mackanic he finds out few of the wires were still not in the right place. 3rd went to kolkata again same kind of experience after servising the stearing wheel was bit stiff. Again went to bloody service station manager says bearing needs to b changed and many other things. But i asked immidietly after servising how can it happen then again many things and i was fedup if next time smthing like tat will happen till the time i sale out the car ill burn it put tge video online. Pliz pull up the socks of the serivce providers they are the actual hands of any organization. Quality is more imp. Shamefull.

                                My self Tushar Thorat, I had purchased Volkswagen Ameo Highline Petrol car on 6th of march 2017 from Shreekripa Volkswagen, nashik.
                                I was on a tour with family during last week of May 17. During tour, my car was hit by a dog. Incident resulted in damage of front bumpers. For maintenance and repair work I took my car to Shreekripa Volkswagen, Nashik workshop on 30th May 2017. On that day, they refused to register the insurance claim by saying this is month end. As, my work location is in Mumbai and I had some important work in upcoming days I requested them to at least fill the form and complete the paper work, so that I wont need to come back for same. They refused to do the same too and told me that I wont need to come later if all documents are available (so I left all original docs with my car only). After few days, I called them for knowing the status of repair. And now, they told me to come to workshop for signing papers of claim.(Note that this is 3rd of June 2017). Even after completing formalities as per their guidelines, they haven't completed the repair work and my car is still in the workshop (7th June 17). Reason for same is unavailability of paint compressor at the repair shop. I need my car for taking my family to a wedding ceremony and I m not having it because of such stupid reasons. This is really annoying and leaving a bad expression. These people are making me realize that I have made a mistake by choosing Volkswagen as my first car.

                                Greetings of the day !!!

                                My name is Umesh Arora from Agra, bought the Polo car Regt. No UP 80 BZ 9081 from KALYAN SALES, sent the car for service on 23rd June as suddenly there was some problem arise and car was not picking up the speed and there was Image showing in the car, while I checked the image with the book provided, showing Filter has to be change and take the car to nearest service centre immediately hence I have taken the appointment for service and advised the problem to the service manager, he confirmed me to sent the car at 0930 on 24th June. I sent the car with my driver and moved to Delhi by train. My driver called me from service station that service has been done they have charged Rs 6500 under their Invoice No SIP170998 and cash receipt No 561 dated 24th June 2017 but they do not have Petrol filter available with them that has to be change, then I called Service Manager Mr. Greesh Verma and asked why have you call the car for service while you do not have the spares available with you, the same incident happened on my 2nd last service they confirmed me the service time and date while my car reached there, they advised me The Oil is not available with us hence request you to leave the car in workshop, will delivered you when oil would be available with us in next 2 days, I fought with them as I have to go to Delhi to attend the function on the same evening and then they done the service and put the oil as well.
                                Yesterday I came back from Delhi and drove the car, after 3 K.M the same problem arise and I spoken with Mr. Verma over phone, he advised me for send the car again to workshop ( 30 K.M from my residence ) to change the petrol filter I asked would it be available he replied you can check tomorrow as today our workshop is closed due to Eid festival, again I made a request please advise as I stuck on the road and car is not picking the speed, he replied switched off the AC and start after some time, drive slowly back to your place which I did in hot temperature by 47 degree in Agra.
                                Today morning I called up again to Mr. Girish Verma and asked him, should I send the car today again to workshop if Petrol filter is available he checked and replied still not available and will take 4 days minimum to order for the same.
                                This is very ridiculous for the world fame company VOLKSWAGEN. I am very angry with the service povider who are spoiling the reputation of the company and the people associated with it.
                                Also please note I am writing very seriously, if my car is not repaired in next 4 days I will toe this car with KACHRA GADI of Municipal corp of Agra in the city of Taj Mahal with banner to show the service of VOLKSWAGEN.

                                Please do not send me any excuses but do something for your customers ???

                                  This is to bring to your kind notice that I purchased Volkswagen Ameo (Highline) on 1st Jan'2017 unfortunately these people are biggest torture in this India. They will ask you to take their finance option and later will torture you by sending the letters that the signatures don't match fill out a NAACH Form. You will complete all the formalities again and still the same will not be updated and later on will penalize you by saying that now you have to pay a late fee charge. Mind it never go for this idiotic finance service of Volkswagen rather it is better to purchase may be some known brands who at least don't cheat. Biggest people to fool around Mr. Ankit Gupta sitting in Dehradun office deals into account.

                                    My name is prakash singh from india | madhya pradesh | bhopal. I purchased volkswagen vento highline on 21st of oct 2016 with full trust and invested my hard earn money on volkswagen.

                                    Unfortunately i was wrong and who trusted on vw and invested money on volkswagen vento (Highline diesel) from the day one i am regularly visiting service center but unfortunately service center also shut down and i have visited another service centre for first service which is 200 km far from my city. I have received many feedback calls and provided all my concerns and they assured me that will take action and resolve soon but no one come back and addressed my concerns in last 8 months.

                                    Shirani automotive private limited | 4056, ahmedpur, near mosque, hoshangabad road, bhopal, madhya pradesh – 462026, sold me defected vento highline diesel engine number (Cwx121695) chassis number – (Mexk15603gt042835) year of mfg. 2015.

                                    Before i write down all my concerns i would like to highlight major concern which i noticed later that this car handed over to me on 21st oct 2016 having running reading of approx. 4, 000 / 5, 000 km which i could not noticed at the time of purchased. I have monthly running of 1, 000 km and in last 8 months this car completed 15, 000 km with monthly average of 1875 km / month which is way ahead of my monthly running of 1, 000 km /month. For this concern i want you guys to provide me date wise running and odo meter closing reading.


                                    Now i will take you guys through the concerns i am facing since day one and even after many visits these concerns are not fixed till date –

                                    Door rattling noise (Like bull cart)
                                    Head lamp fog issue inside
                                    Scratches inside head lamp mirror
                                    Clutch issue (Jerk in pickup after changing gear)
                                    Second gear pickup issue (Sometime stop responding)
                                    Ac smell like hell (Even after service done)
                                    Left rear door beading fitting improper since day one and service centre not able to fix
                                    Second key not received yet (As per dealer vw will send you the key directly) i don’t know when?

                                    I am sure this vehicle was having some defect and they sold me stating that there is huge discount will give you on this and when i asked why this is not sold yet then they said this color is low demand that’s why and even i have not received discount as committed.

                                    After 8 months of struggle and wasting time to visit and telephonic feedback i and tried now and soon this vehicle will complete 1 year and after that it will not be vw responsibility.

                                    I hope you guys will take this matter seriously and take and serious action against dealer and replace this defective piece.
