I recently brought a Volkswagen Polo (Car No - MH01BU2681) 3 months back and the very next day the AC stopped cooling at all. When I gave the car for repair I was told you will get the car in 2 days and it has been 21 days till now . The car was still lying in the workshop and every time we called at the customer care no one bothered to answer the call or call back. By chance if people take my call I am told that the part are waited and it will be repaired by the coming weekend and till date that weekend has not yet arrived. Today I have spent 4 hours of my weekend in calling the customer care at the workshop but still they have no answer and the car still stands in repaired. Salman and Sanjana, two of the so called brilliant advisers are completely incapable of resolving any customer issues but very efficient at lying confidently to the customer. When I spoke to their senior Mr Lalit, firstly he was lost and clueless on the entire issue and secondly he said I will get my car repaired tomorrow. When I asked him how did he get the part immediately when he claimed that it will take another day or two till they get approval for the part, he said the most shocking thing that I could ever expect from a Car company. He was replacing My car's compressor with another car's part in the workshop ! I am shocked and disgusted at such malpractices of Volkswagen as a brand. This is a crime and I will file a legal lawsuit against your company stating that you use existing customer car parts to repair other customer's car. Now I can never trust Volkwagen with my car with which of my car parts have been used already for other cars. This raises the biggest question and doubt on the brands credibility and trust. I declare Volkswagen as a Cheat and not professional at all. After all this, when I finally went to collect my car at the workshop, I saw my car being tested for AC. The car in-house mechanic showed us the compressor and said the compressor was weak since the start. So that means Volkswagen had sold us a manufactured defective car as a brand new car at the price of 6 lakhs plus!!! What could be more disgusting that such a premium brand as claimed cheats the customer right on face and blatantly sells a defective car!! This brand clearly cannot be trusted in terms of their cars, their parts, service and the brand value itself. The customer service adviser lied to us about the bill when we went to settle it. We had the insurance covering most of our expenses in the repair but few things were to be paid by us which were not covered under insurance. The adviser tells us that the bill is for Rs 5000 but when we calculated it as per the items it was Rs. 4200. Again a bluff! The petrol in the car was nil while we had 30 Litres of petrol when we gave the car for repair. Al;l this clearly shows that Volkswagen does not have any set standard of operation or anybody monitoring the activities at the workshop or company. It is being run by the whims and fancy of the employees and they take the customer and car for free ride without giving a damn about the repercussions. I am filling a legal suit against all this stating that I have been sold a defective Car and have been cheated and conned by Volkswagen. And I will never recommend this brand to any of my family or friends who are planning to buy car ever. And people like Mr. Jammajale Sahoo (Emp Id - 117) should be fired as they refuse to give out the contacts for people senior to them saying they only have the Director. Even the director's no can be shared I believe.

    I would like to bring your attention to a very bad experience that I had last day (06.12.2014, Saturday). My name is Jomon T Vallikappil. I own a Volkswagen POLO high line since 2012. It is very bad and was unexpected reactions that I had to face today as I took my Polo to EVM Motor Vehicles Pvt. Ltd., Kottayam, Kerala, India. Let me brief the incident. My Polo was showing some complaint with its Power window functioning. Though I had quite a busy schedule, I myself went to the service centre to rectify the complaint instead of sending my driver as I take good care of my car. And the experience which I had to face there was horrible and unacceptable. As I enter the service centre (EVM Motor Vehicles Pvt. Ltd., Kottayam, Kerala, India), I explained that my power window was showing a complaint. A service person came, checked the vehicle and diagnosed the compliant as “faulty fuse”. They told me that the fuse need to be replaced and it may cost around Rs. 1800. I agreed. They replaced the fuse and said that the vehicle is good to go. They even showed me the windows working well and I was charged an amount of Rs. 1361 for this ( bill enclosed). I stepped out of the service centre and moved almost 100 meters and then I found that the power windows do not work. I was worried and went back to the service centre and met one Mr. Jacob Jose, Service advisor, EVM Motor Vehicles Pvt. Ltd., Kottayam. I explained the things to him, my vechile was again taken in to check and was returned in no time. Now they tell me that its not the fuse but it is the switch that is having the complaint. I asked them that you said it was something wrong with fuse and you even charge me Rs.1361 for the fuse and now you are saying that the complaint is with switch and it needs to be replaced. Which statement is correct? If it is switch, then why was the fuse replaced. Even when they told me that the switch is having the fault, it sounded like they are not sure whether it is actually a fault with switch. I didn’t get the switch replaced/ changed because I am quite sure that if this fault is shown again, they are going to blame the Engine next time and may even ask me to replace it. It is so cruel and pathetic from your service personals to be so careless / lazy while dealing with customers. As I mentioned earlier, I have dropped my whole day’s programmes, just to get this problem solved and in the end, I lost a day of mine and the problem still stands. How your people can can be so careless and rude to customers who have managed to spent money to buy a Highline variant of your product. I’m sure, this will be a bad mark in my mind about Volkswagen and their dealers EVM Motor Vehicles Pvt. Ltd., Kottayam. When we come to service our vehicle, kindly show the interest and concern or half of it that your people show while they came to us as we plan to buy one of your products. Also I had a very bad experience from your sales department too ( To say, your people just destroyed my whole day), and that was horrible too. I also had a plan (which I dropped as I experienced such a horrible response from your sales people) to exchange my Polo for a Vento TDI Highline. When Ivisited the sales section and explained my requirement, they just throw me a price list of VW Vento and that’s it. They haven’t had any interest or patience to talk to me, they didn’t tell me what value will my Polo gets, or what more should I have to pay for it or any of my queries. From the attitude shown towards me, I realized/ felt that they are informally telling me “take it if you want or else get lost”. I know this is quite a long letter, but I felt so bad, insulted and irritated today from the Sales and Service departments of EVM Motor Vehicles Pvt. Ltd., Kottayam, Kerala, India, which made me write a long one.

      This is in reference to the Penalty Charges against Loan Number : [protected] . I would like to officially express my discontent with the penalty issue of Audi A3. I really cannot understand what kind of service this is? It has been almost 24 hours just to receive merely a call from your end regarding the penalty charges . I have been dealing with Malika and Suchita who were supposed to investigate the issue of the ECS system and get back to me with a new amount at 3:00 PM Yesterday. I do not see any revert till now. We have been making the payments on time via cheque. Because of some technical issues at your end, Penalty charges has been added in our account against the above mentioned loan number. I do not wish to pay for something which was a technical fault . I trust this is not the way to deal with such valued customers like us. I would appreciate it highly if you take appropriate action towards resolving my problem on priority basis and provide me NOC asap. Thanks Sonika [protected]

        I have run my vento only 27000 km and the problem came with clutch plate pressure plate now I ask them they told me this is not in warranty and charge me 50000 I have parchous Renault duster same time and duster has driven 65000 km but no problem with that I told them how is it then volks wagen workshop mechanic replaied me that quality is not same in both compony that means Volkswagen is given very poor quality now my car is in workshop only I want the answer what to do other wise I will go to court definalty I will never suggest any one to buy your car if I have to pay then it's ok I will pay because I invest 12 Lakh first only that's why I have to pay then in social network I will advertise your truth nicely I have all proof

          Dear Sir/Madam, We have complaint regarding non providing services We have polo high liner, as we are middle class people not affording petrol, we convert into CNG. RTO has approved, Insurance company has approved it. Why company has objection Daksha Macwan [protected]
          I have volkswagen passat
          the worst service i have ever seen is volkswagen service only
          I bought my passat car by seeing the options provided for that car only
          It has many features in it
          But even single feature is not working there is no difference between passat and vento
          Even parking sensors and rear camera primary features are kot working
          I gave to the near service station to me (ramanthapur, hyderabad, india)
          I gave it for 5 times to rectify my problem they didnt even do that
          Cant i buy hyundai verna or honda city they are far more helpful in service and best cars
          Worst sevice
          I just contacted the manager also
          My car is nearly 10 days in the service station still the problem is not rectifying
          There is no responsibility for volkswagen service people after buying a car
          I am frustrated with your service how many should i go to the service stations
          By having the premier car from volkswagen
          I suggest dont buy volkswagen cars

          If there is any chance make my car as working car with all features which are given
          Worst service
          I[censored] dont know how to service and rectify problems with your cars then stop the vehicle production

            We own 5 Passats purchased in July 2009. All Passats are DSG HighlIne models with sunroofs. All the Passats have had problems with Intake Manifold failures, sometimes more than once. Now on our Passat UP78BV9377 also the same problem has been identified by your dealer, FAPL, Gurgaon & car booked for repairs on Thursday4th December 2014. It is obvious from the number of such failures in every single one of our 5 Passats, that VW is installing defective parts on the cars, resulting in huge repeated repair bills to the customers. This is not some random fault or a wear & tear replacement. We are reporting the matter to the MInistry of Consumer Affairs, for follow up action to recall all such cars sold by VW in India for a free parts replacement to the consumers.               I had take your vento car & i rarely use this car. only 11500km is used. Now fuel injector problem has arised. They have charged me 24500 Rs. Your after sales service is very bad. This problem was arised on 22/11/2014 at 8Pm, i called the service hotline [protected] of Volkswagon Downtown which was switched off. then i called service Manager Mr. Godwin, But he did not pickup the call After that i called your toll free No, then they put me on conference call, but nobody helped me. Now i have left for the Service at Volkswagon Palace Cross, Rajajinagar Service Centre, Service Supervisor Mr Sunder Mob [protected] is looking after this. I have purchased such a costly vechile & and major repair has come for only 11500 kms which is your fault. Please rectify this under Warrenty Immediately & oblige. From N. They had given me an appointment and had said they will give me a reminder call on 19th November and i have yet not recieved a call from them. Whenever i call them they do not bother answering.

                  Pl. go through the attachment, there is no proper reply action from your site on ABRAMOTORS CHENNAI 03/09/2014. Because of which, I have to engage taxi and other mode for my business purpose every day and I am not able to carry out my business activates on time with out hassles. Due to which I have incurred an expense of nearly one to one and half lakhs for non availability of own car for my usage and I am incurring heavy loss on my business day by day. In the connection, I am sorry to bring forth the same to you that the said expenses of one lakh need to be borne by you along with the vehicle delivery, immediately. If you have not fulfilled by above said request immediately, I am sorry, I am constrained to go for legal recourse to obtain the said amount from you and to take immediate delivery of my car. Need your intervention to resolve this immediately

                    I want to share my experience with globus cars pvt.ltd.delhi-33 on 1st. service of my POLO car DL8CY1703 ON dt. 7th. April 2014. the service adviser mr.Amit give me the delivery time 1700hrs but car was not ready even at 1730hrs.outer cleaning of the car was not done.but i paid the charges fully as i was thinking that all the parts were replaced which was mentioned in the invoice.From the last 2 months, i was feeling some vibration trouble in the engine and even fuel consumption was also increased and catalytic converter alarm was observed many times.i studied about this alarm then i thought that in the 1st service, no service work was carried out, only payment was taken by service centre. today i again visited the service centre and told all the problems of the car to service adviser. mr kumar pravesh.he was not interested in listening my problems.now i feel that perhaps i have done a blunder by purchasing a volkswagen car because service is very-2 much poor. today i again paid the charges of the service without my fault.

                      This is to bring to your attention a matter concerning my Volkswagen Vento Highline Diesel car with registration number : KL 39 G 2010, engine number and chassis number. The car has run about 18, 500+ kms. It has been serviced regularly and was driven with most care. Now, the front-left brake-pad has wore off completely and the metal base of the brake-pad has damaged the brake rotor. I have to replace both the brake-pad and brake-rotor which is going to cost me about INR 8500 and the inconveniences added. I understand that it takes about 35000 kms usually before the brake pads wear off and when they do, both sides wear off together. The service personnel did not have an explanation for what happened except that I cannot avail warranty for the same. This is totally unexpected from Volkswagen. When you put a Volkswagen car out in the market, you are putting your reputation out there. When a buyer chooses Volkswagen, they are trusting your history of creating automobile excellence for 77 years. You should not lower yourself to the local car manufacturer standards who sell third rate cars for sky high profits. Now, I would like to know your stand on this incident. I hope you shall stick to your generations old tradition of superior customer care.

                        Poor quality of Apollo tyre & spare parts & poor response & service

                        Dear Sir/madam, I would like to inform you that i have purchased one new polo High line 1.2 Petrol 2014 car (Chassis No. - WVWH14600FT017872) from Vidyut motor, Pune. Within 184 Km my car had breakdown on the road side at 11.00 PM night & i have to struggle with road site assistant for whole night. There was no help from any side ( from Volkswagen & dealer Vidyut motor & your road site assistance). I tried at list 3 hrs. but...

                        Vehicle No. KL01BH 8933. Under extended warranty from Nov.2014. During 2nd annual service, brought to the dealer's notice about a noise from the left front wheel. They have informed me that the ENGINE MOUNT costing Rs. 5378.84 was defective and needed to be replaced at owner's cost as the warranty does not cover items having rubber parts. Also informed me that as a goodwill gesture they would be providing a discount of 50%.I have agreed to this with pain as I was under the impression that costly parts would be covered under the warranty. I had opted for extended warranty for avoiding such surprises. But in the final bill, to my surprise, the cost of the item was indicated as Rs. 2689.42 and the 100% cost was indicated as customer's share. This is giving me an impression that 200% of the cost was indicated first and then gave me a "goodwill gesture" of 50%! Along with other replaced items, this particular item was not returned to me, but shown to me at a distance and took it back. As the problem is still persisting, I have a real doubt whether the defective part has been replaced or not. I wish to hear from Volkswagen: 1) Parts like the engine mount do not qualify for warranty maintenance/replacement. 2) Whether such parts are sold without mentioning the MRP and the price is as told by the dealer.                           I purchased New Polo Diesel Car Last Diwali 2014. I met with an accident on 31st Oct evening. I gave my car for repair on 1st Nov. Insurance claim observation was done on 4th Nov. My Car's Tail Gate was damaged alongwith rear bumper. The VW Karnavati - Narol Workshop Guy Mr. Nirav Shah told me that the Tail Gate and Rear Bumper to replaced as they were totally damaged. and committed me that it will take 10-12 days to fix my car. I agrred with him and leave my car on 1st Nov with them. Since then it has been more than 20 days and i have been informed latest status that they yet not started working on my car since the Tail Gate is not available with them, they have ordered the same and it has not come yet... Mr. Nirav has just called me yesterday and told me that, SIR IT WILL TAKE ANOTHER 10-15 DAYS TO COMPLETE THE JOB The Customer Care Executive Ms. Poonam is also doesn't have enough sense that how to talk to their valuable customers. She can put any customer on hold for N number of MInutes without your consent ... Hats off to such a great Customer care executive.. (As she is a Lady, I had to be careful with my words... otherwise...XXXXX...) The Workshop Senior Level Manager Mr. Kuldeep don't even bother about the issues brought to him by a customer even after calling them TWICE or THRICE. The Sales Executive from whom i have done dealing for purchase of the car is not even dare to pick up my call.. The Workshop guy, Mr. Nirav Shah, every time when i called him, he used to tell me that "SIR I WILL CALL YOU AFTER SOME TIME" but he never called me. Pathetic ... I HAD WORST EXPERIENCE OF SUCH POOR RESPONSE FROM THESE SO CALLED VW-KARNAVATI AHMEDABAD GUYS...(PARKLANE CARS PVT LTD - DEALER OF VW IN AHMEDABAD) ABOUT VOLKSWAGEN INDIA ... There is nothing like Customer care.. I have made complaint through mail They respeonded to me and just gave me a Complaint ID via message. THATS IT.. No other phone calls, nothing from Customer care Centre of Company... Now I am in a poor situation that I dont know what to do with this Complaint ID... F88k o88... Now, One can realise that COMPANY & DEALERS have been acting on the same line..<<< CHEATING CUSTOMERS ...>>> I am thinking on filling a case against the dealer in Consumer Court...!!!

About 2 weeks back the they had kept the car for a week but still it is the same. I have had to cancell two of my tours which Mr. Sudhir Ojha, Manager, ESSENN Automotive Pvt Ltd is aware off. And now the car is stalling also. I would want you to take immediate action and also replace me with another vehicle with immediate effect.

                                I bought a new vento highline just 4 to 5 months ago and after 4 5 days my ac is not working propoerly.there is some.manufacturing defect in my car And i took my car to service station which is lally motors ludhiana they are.not at all able.to resolve my issue and say ac is absolutely fine which is not I Want my car to.be replaced as it is brand new and such defect is not tolerable.If i dont get any answer to my complaints i would like to.go to consumeR courts for this.                                   Dear sir I own a vento highline whose no is PB 08 BZ 1994. I m from Ludhiana. There is some noise coming from my suspension. I take the car to Vw showroom lally motors ludhiana.They checked my car and said some parts have to be changed but they are not covered under extended warranty .We have two ventos in our family. I think no one can give best service like VW but sir this time I m very much dissatisfied with Vw. Sir I have opted for extended warranty so plz exchange my parts. I will be really thankful to you.                                     I was went to valkswagen service center at ujala circle ahmedabad on 5th november 2014 for purchase a VENTO CAR COVER. When i asked to Miss. JIMMY for that car cover she replyed me u have wait for half hour and gave me nagitive response. After some time again asked her nd still she not gave me positive response and misbehaved with me. Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied on how this situation is being handled by employees at Volkswagen...

                                      I own a Volkswagen Polo Diesel Comfort line Car ( Reg. No KL-7 BP 6555) since Oct 2010, Following a minor accident which damaged the boot tail lamp and causing a slight dent on the boot . I approached the Volkswagen service centre following the accident within the stipulated 7 days from the date of accident in order to access the insurance claim to repair the car. Customer care Executive then advised me to enroll for the 4 th year annual service which was due by the end of the same month. She confirmed the charges for 60, 000 km service will be in the range of 12k to 13k On 14th Oct 2014 I dropped the car at EVM Maradu Volkswagen service centre and my car was in proper driving condition. After a day I receive a call from the service centre giving me a list of things they have done to my car including some unheard labour charges ( never knew you people outsourced labourers for annual service of an hitherto agency maintained car!). Meanwhile I was informed that the body shop work for the car had started, my insurance - HDFC Ergo advised me to put it as 2 claims which was done under a notion that the damage done to my car will be repaired within the insurance claim as I have a full cover Insurance with HDFC Ergo. After a few days I was shocked to receive a call of a lifetime I was asked to pay a bill of Rs 47, 198 inclusive of the service & damages repair charges. I was advised that my Insurance Company HDFC Ergo will pay the claim by transferring the claim amount into my account as it was cashless policy. The break-up of charges are as follows Service charges all inclusive- Rs 22, 418 Damages service body shop – Rs 24780 Total Charges- Rs 47, 198 Out of the total claim of Rs 24780 HDFC Ergo allocated just Rs 16450 towards the claim. Now I have to pay the service centre a balance claim of Rs 8229/- + the service bill for 4th annual service – Rs 22, 418 sums upto Rs 30647 For a Middle income Person like me Rs 30, 000 for annual service for a 4 year old running Mid Segment car like VW Polo is unjustifiable. This ruthless, Unethical & Unjustified charges imposed on a 4 year old Mid segment car is totally biased. If you compare VW Polo with any car of this segment in the current market you can find that none will charge ¼ of this charge. A point I would like to make at this juncture is that the present depreciated value of the car is below 5 lacs which means you are forcing me to shell out more than 10% of it as service charge for the car which itself is a humongous absurdity. Volkswagen Kochi dealer should be kind enough to settle the service charges on a nominal level and stop harassing the customer with such hypothetical charges implied on an average earning individual, An only other possible option I can put forward is to buy back the car on the present market price. Please treat the grievance of this wounded consumer judiciously or else I will be compelled to resort to the consumer court for justice and I am afraid I will have to publicise my bitter experiences with Volkswagen brand in all available complaint sites in India.
