1. I am writing to you in connection with an abnormal fault encountered in my vehicle.
2. I am an owner of Vento Diesel 1.6 Highline purchased in March 2012 from Tanya Motors, Jaipur with the following details:-
(a) Engine Number : CLN180973
(b) Chassis Number : WVWM11603CT020340
(c) Registration Number : CH 01 AL 4912
3. I am a serving Army Officer (Colonel) presently posted as Director at OFB HQ, Kolkata. I use my Vento sparingly since I have a second car, besides my official vehicle. That’s the reason for my Vento having done merely 9000 Kms till now and looks brand new.
4. It would not be an exaggeration to state that I am an ardent car lover and always walk the extra mile to ensure a very high standard o[censored]pkeep and serviceability of my vehicle. The Vento was serviced in March 2014, after which the vehicle has hardly done any mileage.
5. It was on 15 Aug 2014 that I along with my family (wife and two young daughters) set on a three day vacation on our Vento to Mandarmani Beach around 170 Kms from Kolkata. The journey was unfolding beautifully till about 160 Kms, when all of a sudden I could smell something burning, which was reconfirmed by my wife. I immediately stopped the vehicle to inspect what was wrong, but could not find anything amiss. I then continued with my trip but would have hardly covered 3-4 Kms when I felt a distinct jerk / engine knock, the Coil / Glow Plug symbol started flashing on the Dashboard Console along with the MPFI symbol and sudden loss of compression. I immediately pulled up the car and parked it, fearing the worst. We were still 4-5 Kms short of the Resort and I was totally distraught as my young daughters started crying in the hot and humid weather.
6. I then contacted the VW Call Centre who advised me to take assistance of RSA. I accordingly contacted the RSA and had the Vento transported to VW Workshop at Topsia, Kolkata on 16 Aug 2014. Despite having a 3 day booking in the Resort, we returned dejected and morose the very next day on Taxi as one had to admit the broken down vehicle in the Workshop and clear the carriage charges of the RSA.
7. On inspection of the Vento at Topsia Workshop on 17 Aug 2104, I was given to understand by the deputed Service Engineer that one of the Injector Nozzles had got damaged which needed to be replaced. The reason stated for this failure was ‘Impurity in the Fuel’.
8. It may also be noted that despite our pan India postings, I have to the best of my perception, selected a fairly decent Gas outlet for all top ups and refills. Though the vehicle usage is very less, I have throughout ensured that the tank remains full and as a matter of record, from the time I have bought the car, never has the fuel level dipped below the One Quarter mark.
10. Even in the instant case, I got my Vento last topped up from a renowned Petrol Pump at Park Street, Kolkata around a month and a half back. The vehicle has since been used six / seven times for short local running, besides the smooth drive till about 160 Kms on 15 Aug 2014.
11. In case ‘Fuel Impurity’ is the prime cause for such a serious mechanical failure, may I exhort Volkswagen to kindly list out authorised Petrol Pump Outlets across the country for its cars refilling and not to leave it to the discretion or wisdom o[censored]nsuspecting customers. I also strongly feel that the widely acclaimed German Technology should be well geared up to accept the challenge of varying fuel grades available in the country rather than digging a big hole in the customers pocket. Else the Company’s slogan ‘German Engineering made for India’ appears paradoxical and far- fetched.
12. The pecuniary penalty in the form of Repair costs, RSA charges, Resort Cancellation, Taxi fare, etc is hurtful, however the emotional trauma while vacationing with family is worse, but the worst and most tragic fallout is the utter shattering of customers confidence in the vehicle and the Company, one always held in such high esteem.
13. Despite me being crazy towards car upkeep, if this is what Volkswagen had to offer to its customer for no fault of his, it truly results in a high level of ‘trust deficit’, which would be irreversible since one can never be sure of which Petrol Pump to hit and what serious ramifications would it have on my vehicle ‘Vento’ – whom I no longer love!! We as a family would rather be more comfortable and confident in venturing out in our 12 year old Tata Indica.

    I have booked polo high-line in flash red color on 24 jul 14 with Volkswagen Delhi metropolitan mall saket the dealer promised to get the car delivered on or before 10 aug 14 which he failed to and now he is promising to deliver the car on the 1st week of September only if he get's the car from the company the dealer is not sure about the delivery. This is highly disappointing to see the kind of services and the dealer that a big brand like Volkswagen have.Its my humble request to the person in charge of this to get this case resolved asap else i will have to file a legal complain and put this on all social networking site

      Dear sir, I have given my car polo 1.2 petrol registration no UP 65 BK 2788 to Varanasi auto car pvt. Ltd for changing lock on 25th july 2014 and i was promised to deliver my car before 20 days . And on my forcing to deliver it as soon as possible so they hav told me to deliver before 15 days . Now i am calling them regularly thrice in a day and they keep on giving me date regularly that today and tommorow . In other terms they are fooling me . Now its being around 1 month and i have no idea that when i am going to get my car This is how they treat their customer . M VERY VERY SORRY to say that THIS WAS NEVER EXPECTED FROM WOLKSWAGeN specially . I have almost used the car of every Company but this kind Of service i have never ever got .       Actually 1/2 rating should be given seeing the kind of service they provide . Even wolkswagen has got no control over their dealer
      After registrating complain 10 days are passed bt still no any strict steps are taken ... This is what kind of service wolkswagen provide to their customer ..

        since i own a volkswagen polo and the vehicle has occured a problem regarding the fuel pump. The company is telling me that the car will be with them for 8-9 days and after that the part will come and they will give the delivery of my vehicle. Since i doesn't own any other vehicle so it is very difficult for me to travel as i have to travel a lot in a day, considering this i want u to take strict action against company so that they can deliver my vehicle atleast on tuesday..

          On 29.8.2011 we had purchased Vento Highline Diesel car from Your Ludhiana Dealer Lally Motors. At the time of Purchase Itself we had paid the required amount for Warranty Extension by 2 years i.e. extebnded warranty from 29.8.2013 to 28.8.2015. Therefore Technically the Car is still under Warranty. After having used the Car for about 18 Months the AC Vent on the Left of Dashboard Centre the Fins which Control the Airflow Direction broke and started falling into the Main Duct. During the next service we brought this to the notice of the Service Centre they told us that this is not covered under Warranty. We assumed that it was a case of rough handling form our side and we did not do anything further. However during the course of next 7-8 months we noticed that one by one all the remaining 3 AC Vents on the Dashboard the fins broke up and lastly the Fins in Rear Seat AC Vent are now not in control of the Knob . It simply means that the Plastic in these Ac Vents is so weak that even on normal activity it breaks like a Chinese Toy. The breakage is not caused by any mistake of the Users but is a BASIC MANUFACTURING DEFECT. Now we also have 2 other Cars (A) Maruti Zen Petrol Model 1999 (B) Hyundai Diesel Accent Model 2004 Driven 3, 00, 000 kms +, but the same part in these 2 cars have never been damaged. If our handling had been poor then the same parts in these cars should have had some incidence of damage especially as these care are 15 years and 10 years into usage. We therefore rightfully insist that this is a BASIC MANUFACTURING DEFECT and you should replace these 5 A/C Vents for us FREE OF COST. I am a conscientious person and I am approaching you after I am 110% Convinced that it is a manufacturing defect after all a German Cars parts don’t break like Chinese toys. I have seen vents breaking one by one over the span of last one year and without any reason whatsoever. Either it is a manufacturing defect or it has been deliberately made weak to force customers to come for repeated replacements. Either Volkswagen India should wake up to its responsibility towards customers who have put their faith in your product. I am not given justice from your side, surely I will feel that faith has been misplaced. I would not be doing anything wrong if I then have to get back on VW India by sharing with potential VW Car Buyers about this lacuna in your cars.               I have polo comfortline diesel bought in aug 2012. in last 11 months the car had to be towed away 5 times. one of the relay keep on getting kaput every 2 - 3 months. now the car Iis being in the garage from last 3 weeks. no one is ready to answer and take responsibilty of the service. last time the rellay got burned. but still the workshop guys are not doing anything. mobile [protected]. car mh46w0w0420

                This is to inform you that I have a Volkswagen Polo Diesel car. I have done all the services so far.Two days ago my vehicle's accelerator pedal couldn't be released to the original position. I consulted with a service person at Volkswagen authorized service center, Thiruvanthapuram, kerala, and they told that one of the switch, inside the accelerator pedal, has to be replaced and they gave me an estimate of Rs 8576/-.They also told us that it is usual complaint of this same vehicle.                   Concern No: CCR8815. I am having series of issues with my car (Polo Trend line petrol) since I have purchased it and I am shocked that companies like Maruti Suzuki are much better than Volkswagen. I do own 2 other cars 1 is 4 years old (Honda City) and another is 2 years old (Hundai Verna). I am extremely satisfied with these cars and havn't paid anything on their maintenance. I own a Polo also which is 2 years old which is one of the most pathetic car one could have. I am not sure how come German Engineering is failing when compared with Japanese and Korean technologies. I am having series of issues since I own it. From day 1 when I start my car it makes a very weird noise as if I am starting a mini truck. I got it checked and I was told engine mounts needs replacement. It was shocking that within 1st year engine mounts were changed where the km run was only 7000 kms. It ran fine for sometime but the issue still persist. Later, service centre said that since its a 3 cylinder car it makes such noise and engine vibrates. I took their word and didnt report this issue back. Now 4 months back I got engine malfunction light lit up on meter while i was driving it. I got it checked and I was told that sensors gone faulty. Since the car was under warranty, they were replaced and after 4 months, when my warranty has expired, the sensors have gone faulty again. After speaking to workshop's GM, he said if you get them replaced, we will give you warranty for 1 year or 10000 KMs. I am not too sure if the parts were replaced 4 months back why it's warranty not there? He said since car's warranty is over, that warranty is also expired. I have a question, you provide warranty of your parts as per when then were changed or does it fall with car's overall warranty? Now they are asking me to pay. They didn't find the root cause due to which the issue again resurfaced and that doesn't guarantee that these parts wont malfunction again in near future. I want a Volkswagen engineer to see whats wrong with it and get it sorted. I don't trust service center anymore. My only ill luck is that I have got only 1 service center near my home which is 10-14 knms away and the biggest stupidity which I did was, buying a Volkswagen car. I received calls from your mumbai office for feedback and despite of negative feedbacks, no action was taken by Volkswagen. I am surprised at German Engineering and Volkswagen, which is one of the top notch brand is car manufacturing. Maruti Suzuki is better than German Engineering. At least their parts are inexpensive and do not tear off so easily. Please look into this ASAP else I have to take this case to higher authorities.

                    due to heavy rains in the city there is some problem in the brake shoe of the rear tyre due to which my car is unable to move from its place(POLO TDI). there is SAMARTH service centre of Volkswagen in the city and even after repeated complaints the service centre guys didn't pay any heed to complaint and didn't come to fix it up.                       my vechicle REG NO TN23BF0370 frame no:WVWK1360XET033348 I fully satification in this car, superb conformate and comfort driving, but now some problem in my car.POWER WINDOW SWITCH BROKEN;MP3 PLAYER ON/OFF SWITCH, F.M.BAND SWITCH BROKEN.I ask in show room manager, he taken photo to broken spares for warranty 04/08/2014 for send head office.but today 07/08/2014 told me we have not getten warranty claim for this kinds spare.I buy car 8 months only no anybody drive my car i just ride km 1803kms.I have park my car for blank space fully safety.so please give the spares for warranty.I hope the people help me this kinds of problems

                        I bought black polo highline 8 month back after 2 month i am facing many problem sometimes my battery goes down some times fm does not connect but i taken for granted but this time 1-1/2 month back i notice a different sound coming from my engine i went to service station (Chinnhat, lucknow up), they taken my car for 2 days after 2 days when they gave it to me and when i came back to home i found that there is no oil in my car and i already paid 6000/- for labour n oil charges, then i again call them and they again took my car its been 1 month they had my car, they told me that some part of engine is been replaced so you have to pay,
                        So kindly look into the matter as my car is under 1 year and due to service station fault problem occurs, so i wont pay a singly pinny to them and still they dont do it i will sue them to court surly.

                          I have a polo car which was bought in May 2013 and the number of the car is MH01BG 5371. I am deeply distressed with the car. The car is barely a year old and has done only 4500kms but is already give me a lot of trouble. The car has started leaking and the carpet of the car has rotted and giving foul smell. This is quite troubling specially in the monsoon and I use this car for my child and myself so it's handled with a lot of care. No driver has ever handled the car. Yesterday I delivered the car to the Volkswagen Downtown service centre to get the problem rectified but it's been 2days and we have no clue to what is happening even after speaking to them many times. We have been touch with Mr. Zeeshan Shaikh and Mr. Alok from the service centre but the matter is not getting solved in any way.                             I purchase a volkswagen vento car on 29-July 2014 from MAA SHEETLA AUTOWHEELS PVT. LTD. MORADABAD. till now i did not received insurance, body cover, matting, the always give the date for giving the insurance. when i call then for asking the insurance & cover they misbehave with me & said they will give it to me. Also they did not give money of my old car which i give them in exchange. Kindly solve my problem and do the needful

                              I hv multiple complaints. 1- On 12th june 2014 i booked polo highline petrol 1.2(pepper grey colour) and my delivery date was 2nd of july 2014 before Delivery date i.e on 27 june 2014 a call came to me from the dealer and thEy saiD That u Hv to Make half of the Payment before delivery and we gave half the payment and it was full cash payment. Before delivery date rest of the payment was cleared And it was told that they Don'T hv my choice colour(pepper grey colour).they only hv white colour in highline model.Is this tHe way u treate ur cusTomers. 2-After the car delivery they told me thAt they"ll give body cover in accessOries.they Haven't gIven body cover yet. Sir/Mam it Is requested u to take sTrict aCtIon cuz its For ur companies saKe.U TreAte customerS good tHey"Ll also give good reviews.

                                We have purchased a new Vento, Automatic, on the May 2013 . Soon after buying we faces a problem with the AC and it was shutting off automatically . after than we went to torondo motors in August and they said we have done some change in settings of the AC and it fine now . But the problem did not solve, and after few months, when we were traveling long distance suddenly the car got heated and the smoke was coming out from the engine, and we need to stop and catch the other means of transport . And when we sent the car to the torondo motors, they said, there is problem with the coolant part and the radiator, and we find this problem in some of the vento cars made during march - may 2013 . So they changed the required parts and it was working fine for 2 months . After that now again we find the engine light and, now the company is saying, we need to change the engine wiring harness and it will take 10-12 days . This really not the way, we expected the VW car to be, as we thought we had made a tough choice between choosing the car . And we don't have time every two months go to the service station and again come with the same problem . And this a new car hardly run about 6000 km, and facing this bad experience . So we would like to solve this issue on a priority basis . And if this issue come ups again, we need to change the entire engine or replace with the new car . This kind of problem is not at all tolerable . We would like to raise this issue to higher authorities and solve it immediately . And arrange for the alternate car till you address the issue as my work it stuck due to this issue

                                  Dear Sir / Madam. Good Morning, Worst Experience with Volkswagen authorized service centre Pondicherry last two years. I am Sundar working as a manager for Dr.R.Dhanapathy one of the Volkswagen customer taken the Volkswagen Vento high line (Diesel) car on 27th July 2012 from Volkswagen Pondicherry. Registration no : PY-01-BT-5400, Chassis no : WVWD1260XCT047928. From the day 1 itself there is a problem in the steering . The issue is when I press the horn from my steering Horn pad some irritating noise is coming, when I complaint about this issue to the authorized Volkswagen dealer, there service advisor told me that Volkswagen comes like that only that’s a small sound. I also thought ok Volkswagen is like that only. After I checked more than 20 Volkswagen Vento high line (Diesel) car there is no sound is coming on that all vehicle. Then I came to know one of my friends also owned Volkswagen vento high line (Diesel) car he also faced this kind of problem were this issue was solved by one of Volkswagen dealer. Then again for next service I asked to service people regarding this and another one issue Gear shifting problem that time the new advisor told me that the technician will not touch horn pad and Gear shifting there because air bag is there then if anything happens we are not responsible, I asked why Volkswagen has such authorized service centre who is not responsible for anything. How come such authorized service centre technician will say he will not touch the horn pad, in that service lot of issue done and I got irritated and i have taken the delivery of the car at that time. When I went for next service that time my friend given (RSM)Mr. Sathish, number to talk about this issue, that time (RSM)Mr. Sathish, said to me there (ASM)Mr. Suveer & Expert Mr.Eshwaramoorthy came for dealer visit, then after I met with them they are saying there is problem in this vehicle we went for a test drive he also identified that problem, on that time he was solved Gear shifting problem and he tried to fix horn pad noise problem also, but not have time he said you come for the next time when I visit to the dealer, now we are in hurry to move its time up. Dealer will inform to you when next time when I am visiting to dealer. That time also I have taken my vehicle delivery, no one informed to me when they are visiting again. Finally at my last service that was my 6 service my vehicle had run 94000Km now I cannot keep shut so I went authorized service centre to rectify my issue. So that I have not spoked with anybody directly spoked with service manager Murali he said to me there is problem on my horn pad, Myself and Murali was checked more than 7 vento highline (Diesel) vehicle there was no noise after they said before the horn pad not fixed properly on the steering due to that the noise was coming in the 2014 new model the horn pad was fixed properly. So sir you pay for it cost we will change the new model 2014 steering, that horn pad noise never come again, then I got angry and I asked the service manager if this issue is solved by paying the amount then why can’t change in the warranty then they want to collect the money from the customer even for the warranty period authorized service people are asking money for that. Last month they called me to bring my car to change the Gear selector they done that, not the horn pad issue after Service manager sent my car for a test drive one person was driving I just went with him for a test drive, the person who came with me he is Mr. Naveen he told that sir I will drive very rashly more than 120km to 140km speed so you wear your seat belt if anything happens to you I am not responsible, the bloody who told all this he himself have not wear his seat belt when I back came to service center after a test drive I came to know that he is floor incharge who even don’t know how to talk with the customer politely. After the test drive he told me there was some noise coming on front left side that time he suggest me to change the suspension bush kit, I taken my vehicle delivery on that time I tried to call (RSM)Mr.Sathish, to tell what they are done on that day but he is not responded .later on I send message to(RSM)Mr. Sathish, I need to talk about my issue, next day morning I have started to go out from my place that time that sound I hear on front left side, suddenly I stop my car opened the bonnet to check there I sawed battery was not fixed properly so only that sound came from my car, I went to ask the service center there the bloody floor incharge was saying that is not problem, I will ask murali to fix the battery properly, also he said that the technician who worked in your car might be forgot to fix the battery properly, after service manage Murali sent another one person for a test drive to clarify that as the floor incharge said to check whether there is suspension problem or not, after a test drive done by the next person he told there is no suspension noise so no need to change the all bush kits, that morning also I tried to spoke to (RSM)Mr. Sathish how the bloody floor incharge talked to me very rudely on that time, but they not picked my call on that time (RSM)Mr. Sathish, after i got a call from (ASM)Mr. Suveer he spoked with me I told all the issue about the service and also spoked with Service Manager Mr. Murali. (ASM)Mr. Suveer asked manager to put this to DIS (something I don’t know what it means I asked to them then they said to me to know what exact problem there in your car to know in Volkswagen we used put this DIS and check with the experts in Volkswagen) they even taken the video voice record of my car horn pad irritating noise and they said once reply comes from our head office we will reply to you, and I told them I am out of station going to Mumbai for 10 days so call and tell me as soon as possible so that I organize. I was waited for the service people to call but no one called, I have called them after 4 days they are saying stupid answer to me, sir we found that was not manufacturer defect. What a stupid answer it is, I didn’t said that It was manufacturer fault or my fault, I am asking to solve my horn Pad irritating noise problem. I tried to call (RSM)Mr. Sathish is not ready to attend my call and (ASM)Mr. Suveer was not responding properly and also the authorized service dealer people doing the same. After I called again (ASM) Mr.Suveer how my horn pad issue will be solved after paying the only money? thereafter (ASM) Mr. Suveer told me he will visit this month end or next month (August)that time he will inspect my car. I thought they are all situation drama actor. Kindly let me know how I should drive this car with this irritating horn pad noise. Is it there is no action or solutions for my problem? if not I will fix in my mind Volkswagen Pondicherry service people are like this to irritate the customers and I will not recommend my friends and relatives not to take Volkswagen brand at all.. Am waiting for atlest any reply from your side, if you will also say that Volkswagen comes like that only then it is my fault without knowing the product I bought the car. but I am sure Volkswagen brand product is not bad, pondicherry service people are spoiling the Volkswagen brand Name ….                                     trivandrum evm volkswagen never took any action on such complaint after thier service ...even after 15 years my maruthi zen doesn't have this complaint...i am not satisfied on trivandrum evm volkswagen service...(repair order no 1422287)

                                      I own a Volkswagen Vento Trendline(TDI) (Red). I see the cracks getting popped in the trunk of the car for no reason. Need a proper replacement for this, and this was ignored in the service station when I had given it for the first free general check-up even after reminding the issue.

                                        I booked my polo on date1/7/2014 with booking amount 49000 rupees. They promised me to give polo highline black colour on[protected] on that day i transferred 497000 in their bank account ( its a loan amount transferred by kotak mahindra bank). Then i submit another 37000 and talked to them and told them remaining amount i will pay in cash. The problem is now they are saying me that they don't have polo highline in black colour. Is this the way how volkswagen work?? I am extremely disappointed with the service of Volkswagen bhagat automobiles pvt ltd. And they are saying me that they don't have black colour available .and they sold my booked polo to someone else. Are you kidding me ?? That's how Volkswagen treat their customer ?? and they do fake promises after taking booking amount. On[protected] at the promised day of delivery entire day they did not received my phone call and still they are not giving me any positive response. Help me as soon as possible other wise i have to think about other legal options. I hope soon i will get positive response from Volkswagen head office.
