Address: East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh

31st October 2014 To M/S M/S Sir, I used to own a Volkswagen(POLO) car, when I was in UK in 1982-85and shipped it across to to India and used it untill 1990.Expecting similar performance and service, I purchased Volkswagen Passat. in 2013 Car was delivered to me at Rajahmundry by a dealer PPS motors in Hyderabad. I sent my car for first 'Service' to the Volkswagen Service Center at Rajahmundry on 15th September 2014. They advised us to come, after receiving a call from them, as they do not have the required Filters and Oil in 'stock'. After one week, there was slight damage to the front bumper of my car. When approached the Service Center, they said, they have to place an order for the bumper. They never called us and after one month, when I contacted, they told me to take the car to the Service Center by ATR cars at Vijayawada. I do not understand why they cannot get the filters and oil even after one month.Accordingly, I sent my car to the Service Center at Vijayawada on 18th October 2014. They carried out the Service and repaired the front bumper as there was no need to replace the bumper. Before taking delivery, my driver noticed, that the Driving Lights are getting switched off, if the Head Lights are switched on. Before the Service and Repairs, Driving Lights used to remain in 'ON', even after the Head Lights are switched on.My driver brought these things to the attention of the Service Center Staff and he was advised to leave the car with them. They delivered the car after 2 days without rectifying the defects. The next day, after starting the Engine, I noticed, in the Dash Board Instrument Cluster, 1. ABS System Error indicator, 2. Parking (Hand Brake on) indicator, 3. Fault in Vehicle Steering indicator, 4. ESP indicator, all the four are remaining 'Lit Up', instead of 'going off' automatically. I contacted Vijayawada Service Center and informed the problem and they advised me to take the car to Rajahmundry Service Center. After taking appointment, I sent the car to Rajahmundry Service Center on 29th October 2014. They checked the car and said that the problem was with the Sensors and they will place an order for replacement. I am not getting any satisfactory reply from your Service Centers at Rajahmundry and Vijayawada. My contention is the problem. with the lights and the display errors in the dash board instrument cluster are new faults after the car was serviced by the servicing centre ar Vijayawada. I am disappointed with this callous Service from Volkswagon. Hence, I am bringing this to your notice, so that prompt action may be taken from your end. Expecting acknowledgement and prompt response from you. Yours truly G V RAMA RAO

Since I have bought Jetta 2.0 diesel AT in november 2011, the car's rear diver side door opens at high speeds in about a 300 KM journey. I have sent my car several times to the nearest service station which is 300 Km away, several times. But every time, the service station seemingly resolves the issue but it still persists. Buying an 8 air bag car for extra safety is useless if the car doors open on high speeds. I have also written to your customer care mail id with no responses. Further my car is consuming all the coolant within few kilo meters. I somehow had brought it to the service station 300 Kms away so it could be resolved, but it wasn't there either even after charging me Rs. 2000. Instead I had called for a consultant at my place who charged Rs. 4000 for showing up. Even then the issue is not resolved. Last time I called your agency in Lucknow, they told me to bring the car to the service station which i already told is 300 kms away. Since, I have already paid for the problem twice and travelled especially 600 kms for the same, do i still need to travel another 600 kms. I hope you will sincerely look into the matter. the service station i have been referring to is in lucknow namely Viraj Distributors.

Dear Sir/Madam, On 21st Oct 2014, when i was moving my car to the office from home it hit a stone in the bottom and when i got a Oil symbol glow i immediately pulled my car to the parking lot and on contact with your road side assistance team they advised me to tow the vehicle to the service station, As i Had to rush to the office i did the same next day, there was about 2 plus litre of oil leakage in the bottom when i was removing the vehicle for towing it to the service station. As per the recommendation of your service team I had given my Polo with Reg No KA04 MQ -0726 for service on 22nd Oct 2014 to your Hesirgate workshop, On inspection it was told that, the problem was oil sump damage and there was no oil in the engine as the same was drained in my parking lot, I was asked to come the next day to give the documents for insurance, The next day i.e 23rd of Oct i came in the morning to submit the insurance documents but for my surprise i saw that my vehicle was driven from the parking slot by your team member, when i asked the security on the same he told that they are moving the vehicle for parking down the lane near your workshop. Note: there was not a single drop of engine oil in the vehicle when your person had driven my car during this act. On my introspection with your team they told me that since there was no board put on the car to not start the vehicle by mistake some one has started the vehicle and moved for parking. i was asked to wait till Monday as there was holidays that week and insurance person would come only on Monday for approval. The next week i get a call from your Service team saying that insurance approval has been given for oil sump and when they tried to fix the problem they have realized that the Engine is damaged as the vehicle was driven without oil. Since last three days i am in touch with your person over the phone as i am not in station to sort the issue out and he has told me that the estimate to fix the problem will go in Lakhs and the service station is not responsible for the same though they have agreed that there person have driven the vehicle without oil. Now i would sincerely request you to look in to this issue and give me justice for the same, Its a clear cut fact that the damage has occurred since your person has drive without oil for about a Kilometer to park the vehicle else where and how can you penalize me for your negligence is that how you serve a customer is this your responsibility, I Had taken special care not to start the vehicle after the damage and tow the vehicle to the service station and your person have foolishly caused a sever damage to my vehicle and how can you expect me to pay for your irresponsibility and negligence. Awaiting humbly for a response to my problem, because of this i am not able to concentrate in my work and this has become a mental torture for me since last three days please help me with this issue. Hoping for justice from your end Thanks and Regards, Nithin Varghese [protected]

I had purchased a VW Passat from ETA Star Western Auto, the official Chennai dealer for VolksWagon, in July 2009. From the very first week, we noticed a yellow light flashing on the dashboard (the "check engine" sign). Ever since then, the car has been going for regular visits to the service center to rectify this issue. The car had spend more time at the service center than on the roads! The issue yet remained unidentified or unresolved (they gave us no clear answers). All this despite the service guarantee provided by the company for 4 years or 1 lac kilometers, whichever was earlier. By the end of the first year (still well within the guarantee period!!) None of the staff or mechanics wanted to take responsibility, passing me from one desk to another, one phone call to another. Frustrated, I left my car at Abra Motors Service Center in Chennai, refusing to collect the car till all its issues had been sorted. Since then I have not received any communication from either the company or the service center or the dealer, despite numerous attempts to follow up my case. I was at the end of my tether! A colossal waste of an average persons time and money! The case we lodged with the consumer forum in Chennai is pending. Its been 3 YEARS!! Considered to be one of the best luxury cars by VW INDIA, How can the company provide such dismal after sale service? Are they just concerned with taking our hard earned money and nothing after? The "check engine" sign is an indication of mechanical failure, What if my family or me were stranded when out driving in our 'brand new luxury car'? And all because VW India couldn't be bothered with thoroughly checking their cars before delivery to a new customer? I'm still awaiting any sort of redressal or response at all from the company! The first time i had a failed injector was in Kerala, we were towed by flatbed to the Kannur VW service center. They said the reason for the failed injector was adultrated fuel, and the same was changed on warranty. I was with my Mother and my brother on the road for nearly 4 hours until the Flat bed truck arrived,...

                    Address: Bangalore, Karnataka

My Vento met with an accident and have taken it to VW-Elite Motors
Showroom in Bangalore for repairing. Date of incident is end of July 2014,
after 3 months these people have not completed my work. Almost work has been halted
till 1st Week of Oct due to non availability of spairs. After my continuous
follow-ups and meeting with all the higher-ups of Elite Motors, they have slowly
initiated the process on 1st Week of Oct. When enquire, it was realised
that Elite Motors have left with no stock due to their inter issues within the management,
lack of labours, rift with VW-India. And the net effect is after 3 months (till
now), my vehicle is lying in the showroom. Though, i have read many blogs relating
the service issue across VW service centres in india, I have taken my car their
assuming its authorised dealers. Now, my situation is similar to that of others.

During my last 3 months continuous visits to your service
station, i have met near about 50 customers and it is very distressing to see
all were leaving the showroom by throwing their emotions with their office
staffs and they harmlessly apologies to them. I have been over heard many times
that, they blame management for no stocks and labours. I haven’t seen a single customer
leaving the service station with a smile. Though, Elite Motors, Electronic City
claim that they are the No.1 Dealer in Bangalore with more than 3 to 4
branches, but their service is really hopeless and they left with no stocks in
                    any of their service stations.

Regarding the technical Expertise: So far none of the
technicians are able to detect the actual issue with my car. In last 3 months,
i have received 5 invoices. Each time when i visit the showroom for taking the
car they come up with other complaints. In total they have raised 5 invoices
till now and go only knows how much further they will do. Now, i realise it is
better to take VW cars to multi-brand or local service stations than the one
authorised. If their expert technicians can’t detect the complaint then whom should
                    we trust.

In short, it better to go ahead with TOYOTA or Maruthi cars in
india. This German motors will only help us in shooting up our BP. So my
experience was really horrible and cannot be quoted too. Now, people can decide
                    after going through my experience.

I was my driving my Vento yesterday from home to my farmland at speed of 60 kmphr on a state highway. All of a sudden I heard a loud noise and I thought it was my tire that burst. I stopped my car and noticed and I was surprised to see it was my rear passenger side window glass got broken into pieces. I looked online and found this forum and I thought I should notify to VW team. I am hoping to get some feedback for this complaint. I am so sure that there was no stone or anything else could cause this. My expectation for this German car was not met. I have this car for past 12 months. Thanks Mylswamy [protected]

Voklswagen Vehicle No.KL07/CA6813 ( Model: Polo Trend Line Diesel) was purchased by me from M/S EVM Motor & Vehicles India (P) Limited, Kannadikkadu, Maradu, Cochin-682304 vide Invoice No.VW[protected]. The Vehicle was Registered with the Motor Vehicle Department on 27.06.2014 . The outward appearance of the vehicle was good and the it was running smoothly without any complaint. Unfortunately, while I was travelling with my family members on 4.10.2014, the tyre of the said vehicle got damaged and the vehicle was taken to a nearby pocket road of Vyttila area. I got very much panic and called for the local customer care people of the volkswagen and they arrived at the spot after about 2 hours of the incident and they fixed the stepney tyre by which, I was able to move around with the vehicle. At about 4.45 P.M on the same day, I took the vehicle to the aforesaid show room and the damaged wheel handed over to them for proper replacement of the tyre for which, I got an inventory receipt. They did not forget to give me an old stpney wheel with the 15 size disc against the actual size of 14. This was a temporary arrangement. I understand that the wheel alignment of the vehicle is not according to the required standard and there is every chance of meeting with severe accident when the said wheel is used on the vehicle. Next 2-3 days were holidays in Kerala. Today when I contacted them, they told me that there is no possibility of replacement of the tyre which was got damaged and the tyre is not able to be repaired. In this connection, it may also be noticed that so far, the vehicle has covered only 2463 K.Ms. Of late, I came to understand that this particular vehicle was lying there in the store of the dealer for the past one year without any overhead shelter to the vehicle. Suspectedly, the tyre got damaged/wedged due to this reason only. There can be other possibilities also. However, as a customer who spent about 8 lacs for the volkswagen vehicle is not at all satisfied with performance of your vehicle. Without the tyres, the vehicle will not have any use. This being the case, I request you to kindly look into the matter and arrange replacement of the damaged tyre immediately. This should be followed by the subsequent replacement of the other 4 tyres without much delay. Even now, the repairs done to the tyre are found to be sub standard. If no action is taken at your end, I will be compelled to take up the matter with the local CDRF (Consumer Redressal Forum) at Ernakulam. I fervently hope, such unpleasant situation should/will not take place. * It is brought to your kind notice that the above letter has been sent to you earlier but we have not received a satisfactory reply/action from your side. The agency had forward an inspection report of their version said that it is an external injury and not repaired as warranty. I assured that the vehicle had not collied/ occured any external accidents, and it is convinced by your service centre person at Tripunithura, Ernakulam who was changed the damaged tyre. In this situation I request you to kindly look into the matter and arrange replacement of the damaged tyre immediately. This should be followed by the subsequent replacement of the other 4 tyres without much delay.if no action is taken at your end, I will be compelled to take up the matter with the local CDRF (Consumer Redressal Forum) at Ernakulam. I fervently hope, such unpleasant situation should/will not take place. An early reply is awaited. K.K.Mathew Elanagimattom Kadavanthra, Cochin-682020 Mob: [protected]

I own a polo TDI . On 13.10.14 I had taken an appointment for checking the sound coming from my front wheel . I reached the service station at 9.30 am and briefed Mr. Abdul who was my service engineer . After taking the test drive he informed me that my car will be ready within 1.5 hrs. Hence I waited till 11.00am n then enquired about my car, but to my supp rise the car was still lying near the security un attended . The concerned service head was also briefed about the entire episode, but he was list bothered . I feel people should not buy Vokswagon cars as service is poor in Goa.

I want to share my experience with Frontier Autoworld Pvt Ltd. New Delhi, 110044. Firstly Navneet Mishra was the guy who handled my car servicing. The antitheft wheel bolt adapter got missing from my toolkit. I have complained but there has been no response till now. This happened on 16/10/2014. It was a most pathetic experience, worst & most bizarre. Zero knowledge on servicing, what is to be serviced, what billing amount to be charged, what components comprise of the bill. One thing I thought of cross checking from outside, the tyre air pressure---Tyre pressure when I got checked from outside was showing air pressure 22 instead of 32 when I got it checked post servicing from outside, I don’t know what these guys have checked though this is a part of the car servicing. Rest of the stuff cant be checked instantaneously. So, nobody knows what has been done by them and what not. It was a miserable experience. One bill was shown to me but a different bill was handed over to me. No clarity on labour charges & part charges. Labour charges exceeded Rs 4000/- in a total bill value of Rs 9777/-. They are really trying to ruin the Volkswagen brand. My car vehicle no is. DL3CBW1374. Appreciate a quick response from you & necessary action. Regards Jiten

I went for the 3rd service of my car which was at 38000 kms. The next day in the morning I was told that I need to change the break pads when I already installed it previously from the service centre itself at 25875 kms. Secondly I was even told that I needed to change the lower guard which would cost me around 23k. When I went in the evening to the service centre itself I was told that there is no need to change the break pads anymore as the service advisor who was handling my car was giving me wrong information as he was a trainee and he didn't knew about all these things and he even told me instead of 23k it would cost 2k and he accepted his mistake as well. 3rdly when I went through my bill I was told there has been a change in the bulb as well which was done without informing me. All these mistakes were accepted by the manager of the service centre itself.

Our car's (VW POLO) air conditioning stopped working while returning from Gujarat to Mumbai. So we checked our car at VW Facility in Mehsana(Gujarat). There the service person advised us that the car's A/C Fan has burned out & hence stopped working, henceforth suggested replacement which costs upto 15K.We had done the replacement as suggested by VW Facility. After returning to Mumbai, I checked out the fan at Bosch Service & the mechanic found out that it was working.
