AS WHEN I TURN OR ANY MOVEMENT OF STEERING IS TOO HARD AND ITS BECOME STUFF WHEN CAR IS IN SPEED. I ALREADY TOLD TO AT AHMEDABAD SERVICE STATION AND THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT BIG AMOUNT NOW ONLY 2 OR 3 YEARS TO BUY SUCH EXPENSIVE CAR WITHOUT ANY MY MISTAKE THIS PART OF THE CAR IS NOT PROPER THEN COMPANY DENIED TO REPAIR OR REPLACE IT.

    We have booked car from volkswagen deccan showroom on 23october2013 vento car due to wrong commitment given by sales person nagarjuna reddy on behalf of loan amount we have cancelled the car.we have approached them for giving return of our booking amount for that they denying the request and he is talking very badly for returning the amount payed

      My name is shiv Sharma from Lucknow, Got purchased one Volkswagen Polo on 24TH May 2011 from Gurgaon . My car number is HR-26-BK-5626 The model number is Polo Diesel Since last 6 month i am just visiting the car workshop in Lucknow ( Viraj Autosales, Lucknow ) . In my last visit they repair the keys again after 15 days both the keys got again came out from the base of the key Now even i have shown them the bad quality of metal used in the key & its base, but no one is listening me properly & forcing me to get the new one One key is costing approx Rs 15000/ it means i need to pay Rs 30000/ for its manufacturing defect. I have heard a lot about your program that you help in resolving the customer grievance Prior to this i was driving Santro & Honda City but never faced these kind of customer victimization by the company .         I have purchase Vento model High line 1.6 LCRM on 28th January 2013 from your authorized dealer from Patiala, M/S Bhagat Autos Private Ltd, Sirhind road, Patiala, Punjab.( Engine no. CLN225234.) The registration no. of my car PB11BD 3495. Till date, the car has run only 14000 km approximately. Now I want to lodge my complaint against above mentioned dealer at Patiala. Just after few days of purchasing car, it developed some serious steering problems and problems in front and rear shockers with some sound in the parts. I have been contacting the dealer about the problems developed and On 21/9/2013, its steering gears were changed by your dealer free of cost. But the problem persisted and I have to again and again contact the dealer. Today the car is with the dealer with the same problem and they are asking for payments for the same while the car is still under warranty period. It is very unfair and unjustified on the part of your dealer to exploit and extract money and not address the genuine problems of the the vehicle concerned. It is merely harassment and not delivering of the services which I am privileged for. It is also not behoving for such a reputed car company on which so many people rely upon today.           I have booked a Volkswagen car Model: Polo GT TSI in Aug '13 with their Navi Mumbai dealer. They failed to deliver the car within the agreed period mentioned in the sales contract. I have waiting last three months for this car. Anyway, I cancelled the booking today and trying to book a car with another manufacturer, who meet their commitments and valuing customers. And never will have any relation with VW.

            Myself Mr. C.K. Bora purchased a VW POLO Comfortline (Regn. No: AS05E-0485) from SM AUTOKRAFT, MALIGAON, GUWAHATI on 31st OCT'2011. Since then, I have been encountering the problem of engine starting. The fuel pump was replaced 2 times earlier but the problem still persists. Today also the problem re-occurred and from the previous experiences, I suspect the one today to be same. I am facing severe difficulties attending my office & in daily activities. Permanent solution of my car problem required as soon as possible. Needful may be done accordingly.

But it has been more than 20 days and there is no spare parts in the company service station in delhi. They are delaying me every time I call.                 I bought a vw Vento at the end of Nov'11, I had a minor accident beggining of this year and was repaired at your dealer EVM Cochin. Since then the car is making a funny sound and the wheel is very wobbly. I live in the UK and do use a Golf and have very good experience and had trust in your company.I came back last month, I took the car to your dealers service centre in Alleppey, Kerala and I was told the wheel has a bend from the time of accident and not sure what to do. I have asked them, why didn't your company check that when you were repairing after the accident, or for the time of the insurance valuation. Then I was told we will rectify it in a day or two. I have been chasing them for the same and was struggling without the car for a week, they never offered me a car even though it took them a week to return my car. I know the company offer a car if it takes more than 48hrs to resolve the issues as a procedure, which never happend.I got my car back after a week and the problems still exist and also started with a missing as you start the car in the morning. I have complained about the issue and took the car back to the EVM service centre in Alleppey and luckyly they offered me a car the next day. I have been contacted by the service advisor few times and I have been told that they are still looking into it but cannot make out what's wrong with the car or why it's making the noise. I would like to make the company aware of how poor, the service EVM provides.If the wheel had a bend at the time of the accident, which should have been identified by the service team, and I would have claimed on my insurance. I am not sure if this company would be able to fix my car at all now, and I would like to know what exactly is happening with my car and why no one is taking any responsibility regarding the same. My second service is due in a months time and I don't think I will want EVM to do the service as they seems to just blag things, and don't do anything properly. I bought this car with a trust in VW brand and the service they offer. The dealer like EVM will ruin the VW name and if my issues are not resolved withing 3 days I will want to make the media aware of how pathetic your company standards are. I feel like I made of mistake of trusting your company rather would have dealt with Tata or Maruti, as your standards are going down as bad as them. Appreciate your reply. Philip

                  Hello Concerned, My Volkswagen Jetta with registration number above was given for service repair 2 and half months back and whenever I asked the Chief Engineer "Mr.Kalyan" he always say that the part in not available in India and we need to bring the part from Germany. No response is given by the authorities even if we had paid Rs 8000 in advance for carrying the part from Germany to India as asked by the Cheif Engineer, but they are not entertaining us any more. Requesting you to please give us a time line that when the car will be ready for delivery, otherwise we need to take legal action for the same, by entering complaint in Consumer court of India as well as Germany.                     Hi Mr. Ashoka, I am extremely disappointed by the VW sales and service team in delivering the new car on time. They are not respecting customer concern they are making customer scape goat for all their communication gap and service gaps. Finally there is a delay in car delivery. The car was suppose to be delivered on 7th November however they delayed the whole process due to their internal communication and process gap and now they are forcing to accept the delay and take the vehicle delivery. I have been promised to deliver the car on 7th initially many times as i very clearly stated this is the auspicious day and i wanted to take the delivery on the said date otherwise i have requested them to cancell if the car cannot be delivered on the date. But they kep promising me they will deliver and last minute they created all the problems and forcing me and blackmailign me to take the vehicle playing with the downpayment. The service head spoken to me was extremely unprofessional and he grounded me with and hurted my feeling with un appropriate information. When i asked for justice he almost threatened me.                       My car No. up38 6345 not started on 29th Sep. 2013 at my home town Sambhal which lifted on 30th Sep. 2013 Sambhal to moradabad at your service center Workshop & showroom at Moradabad, who inform me that the EGR system and self damaged, but your service center not repair my car and say you should pay Rs. 20, 000/- for repair, and staff also misbehave with me. we make my complaint to Mr. Suraj at 2:00 PM from your showroom but he did not registered my complaint again we make complaint on 18th Sep. at 11:00 am on toll free no. CAL 37035 but no response till date.                         This is to report worst experience i had with volkswagon delearship in kottayam Kerala.I have approached them for an issue happening with tyres. Front tyres has become totally worn out in 9000km. Also the legs of both front and back tyres are having cracks all around. There could be a problem either with Tyres or with the suspension. In either case this was not what i was expecting from Volks Wagon. I have decided to buy Volks Wagon car hearing lot about the quality and service they provide.



                        Comment made by dealer and tyre shop is that "its problem with driving style". This car was only used for local driving in and around the small town we live and never used for long journey.



                        I am now in a position were i am thinking i have made a bad decision going for Volkswagon. I am hoping that you will directly take an action to replace the tyres and fix the issue with suspension. I have attached the reports from the dealer for this issue

                          I came across a quote that says 'The cars we drive says a lot about us'. When you drive a Mercedes-Benz you know karma and everything good is on your side. Being an avid car enthusiast, I felt I should take my love for cars to another level and broaden my taste and garage a little bit by buying another car. Moment of bliss, isn't it? Dream come true you'd say. I felt no different. But what are the odds that there is someone out there who plans to spoil the party for you. I was yet to find out courtesy, the Volkswagen Vento 1.6 Petrol Highline AT. Volkswagen - Das Auto, 'Das' what they said, till it all proved to be a sham. My innocent mistake? I fell in love with the car at first sight and knew I wanted it. Considering it moved out of the backyard of the biggest German automaker and the third largest automaker in the world there is a sense of faith that makes you believe that it's all going to be smooth sail. Enter reality. My nightmare started on 6th October 2013, when I booked the vehicle under the able guidance of Mr. Salim Akhtar a Volkswagen representative at Volkswagen Mumbai West (Mob [protected]). I guess some people don't understand the promises they are making when they actually make them, perfect specimen here: Volkswagen. I was told that the car is in stock and Volkswagen would deliver it either on 13th or on the 14th October 2013. Keeping in mind the fact that I was dealing with a car company that strives on the standards it sets I was expecting them to keep their integrity in check. How wrong I was. On 7th October I made an advance payment of INR 75, 000 while the balance amount of 10, 11, 587 was paid on 8th October itself. Is it wrong to expect what you have rightfully paid for? For the world no! But I'm guessing Volkswagen is an exception to that rule because on 14th Oct I was told that the car, my car, which I had paid for already, would be delivered on the 15th to which I made a request that instead I take it on the 18th, it being an auspicious day. But I guess in Volkswagen’s calendar it's an auspicious day only when they think it is because, I was told on 17th as well as on the 18th that my car would be delivered to my residence at 4 PM that evening. When someone’s integrity goes for a toss then why bother about punctuality at all? Because, when I called them at 4.45PM to find out why my car had not reached the assigned destination, I was told that the car would leave shortly and would reach my residence by 6 PM. I guess Volkswagen had mistaken me to be the Zen Master because they had brought me to my wits end by now and I had reached my peak of no return and yet hadn't bothered to revert on the status of my car delivery. At 6.45 PM they asked for an extension on the said delivery time and that they would revert soon. No marks for guessing that there were no reverts from their end. I had to keep calling every 10-15 minutes and every time they promised to revert back. Finally at 8 PM I was told that the car would be delivered the next day as there is an issue with the PDI software at Volkswagen end and their system cannot connect. How many mistakes does one have to pardon? Or rather, it seems Volkswagen is super optimistic about how composed their patrons really are. On the 19th, no one bothers to call and provide any timeline or inform me about the whereabouts of my newly purchased car. I had a humble word with the Volkswagen showroom manager and he reiterated the same thing stating there was an issue with the PDI software and that it was taken up at Volkswagen. He also mentioned that considering Volkswagen people do not work on Saturday and Sunday, they will sort out the issue and delivery the car only on Monday 21st October. He was polite enough to mention that I wasn't the only unlucky person to face this issue. What? There were more unhappy customers like me? Unbelievable I say. My horror continued on the 21st and the 22nd October 2013. So I finally asked for a complaint to be lodged at Volkswagen for PDI not working. This morning i.e. on 23rd am told that the issue is that when they run PDI, it shows some light and they are unable to detect the reason for the same. When I again asked why they kept on telling me its PDI software issue I was told that this is based on what they are being told by workshop. So much for trust and lucid communication. My entire experience with Volkswagen is nothing short of a bomb ticking away ready to explode any moment. Sad part is, this is not even the start of my journey with the German car giants. The worst thing to happen is to expect a horse and find a mule. Hope that doesn't happen to me after everything I have already been through. On second thoughts, after this entire fiasco. I should have believed the dealer of the competing car when he asked me one simple question “Why is it that they don’t sell as many cars?”. Volkswagen – Bas (enough) Auto. Jayendra Shah Mumbai.

                            My Name is CHAKRADHAR, I am a TAP Officer.
                            I won a VENTO DIESEL HIGH LINE 2011 Model, (AP 03 AW 0079)
                            I insured it with 0% depreciation. At the time of insurance, staff at show room told that, with this type of insurance I will get 100% claim and at the time of claiming it is very easy and no need to submit any FIR copy or Photos. They misguided me and made me to go for this.
                            Now recently my vehicle met with an accident at Chennai. When I tried to claim my insurance at the same show room, now they are telling lot of rules and confused me and created lot of inconvenience.
                            I am very much sad about this and we were shocked that, a brands like VOLKESWAGEN handling customers like this.
                            Sir I don’t have trust on the insurance company, I chosen it because Employees in VOLKSWAGEN showroom recommended. Because of the trust I have on the Brand I paid to that insurance Company.
                            I chose VOLKESWAGEN because of the Brand value and its service.
                            Almost with my guidance my relatives and colleagues purchased 2 ventos and 3 polos.
                            Even I am in need for a GT TSI, but now I am in a dilemma whether am I choosing the right brand.
                            With the same showroom I complained 4 times regarding the AC problem, but they never rectified it.
                            When ever I received feed back call after service, I even told them the same but no use.
                            I kindly request you to please look in to this immediate.

                            Very Poor Customer service Volkswagen India.!!..The STAR CARS PRIVATE LIMITED, Puducherry has no idea of fixing my problem..It has been a month since I have left my car in service..Still now their is no proper response from the dealer..
                            We made a booking for Polo Highline Diesel paying a token advance of Rs 10, 001 through credit card on 13-APR -2014 @ Volkswagen Whitefield Bangalore.
                            Till date not received any information abt delivery.Tried reaching the sales team many times, but no one is picking the call or talking the responsibility.

                            Till date we have not received original sale document, which was signed by me.I had drafted N number of mails requesting for the same.But nobody is taking intiative.

                            I require compensation for the negligence and poor service.

                            Please help me to resolve this and provide necessary information on time.
                            I am driving a 1.2 L petrol version of Volkswagen polo (2011). I did all the regular services from the EVM Volkswagen Trivandrum. Last month, I found that the ABS sign was on and took the vehicle immediately to the service centre. I was charged around 12000+ including a change of sensor, battery, handling charge, labour charge etc. Since then the vehicle had a very bad smell in the cabin which I reported to the customer care executive who took the feed back from me. There was no response from them since then. Last week the vehicle developed a starting trouble and was again taken to the service centre. This time charging Rs 5000 for a replacement of "relay", handling charges etc
                            Worst thing was the shape in which I got my vehicle back. The left rear tyre had a puncture with a screw that has gone all the way inside. i realized this when I noticed some thing wrong with the way the vehicle was moving. there was a knocking sound coming out of the front panel. This time a bush is found damaged which is supposed to hold the air filter in place. Since there was no replacement available, they have returned my vehicle as it is.
                            The service personnel has attributed the damage to regular wear and tear. (To a part which does not move at all)
                            I MUST SAY THAT VOLKSWAGEN IS A COMPANY THAT PRODUCE GOOD CARS WHICH IS RUINED BY THE WORST SERVICE AVAILABLE. Please note the paper inserted instead of a rubber washer in the enclosed photo.

                              I approached volkswagen downtown mumbai, shaman cars pvt ltd on 11th october, 2013, to avail of my annual service facility and also get my windscreen replaced. On approaching them, i was told my service is yet not due and hence i must get the car servicing done only on / post the due date.

                              I agreed and gave them my car only to get the following corrected:
                              1. Windscreen replaced, since it had a crack
                              2. Paint front bumper
                              3. Left hand side fender & door repair & paint
                              4. Steering wheel noise

                              I was quoted a cost of inr 28, 000/- for the above.

                              Before handing over the car to them, one of their drivers also did a test drive to check the car. The car was in an absolutely excellent condition and smooth running.

                              A day later i get a call from one mr amol from the service center, telling me that the car has a starting problem, is vibrating, jerking and mis-firing. I was also told that one of the cylinders of the engine head has stopped working and i should get all this rectified immediately and pay a cost of inr 1, 20, 000/- to get this corrected.

                              When i argued that my car never had any such problem and how did this suddenly come up, mr amol said that they did some checking on their own end and this was diagnosed over that checking system. I had not asked the service centre to do any such checking or touch the engine but they did so out of their own course. Now since i insisted that before giving the car to them my car had no such problem, he immediately said that it was not necessary for me to get this rectification done immediately.

                              On 16oct13, when i went to collect my car, i was again told that i should get the engine head changed and at that time they quoted a cost of inr 1, 30, 000/- for this. Amol was quick enough to even tell me that the company was willing to bear the cost of the material and hence i would have to pay a cost of inr 20, 000/- only. I was surprised that the company was willing to bear such a high cost and a little suspicious too, but since i was confident that my car had no such problem, i told them that i will come back if need be.

                              However, to my surprise, when i started the car, it gave jerks and there was excessive vibration in the car!!! I was now convinced that the service centre had done some mischief and hence they had been trying to convince me to change the engine head! On confronting them, they then said it could be some electrical problem or engine head problem, but i must get the engine head changed. When i raised my voice and said that i refuse to pay any such money cause they are cheating me, one of their seniors – mr amin doshi (Service manager), told me that the total cost would be inr 150, 000/- but he will try and get me an additional 50% discount on the labour cost and 100% on the material cost, and i will then have to pay inr 20, 000/- - 22, 000/-!! This is again surprising considering that amol had quoted a total cost of inr 120, 000/- first and then inr 130, 000/- and after material discount i was asked to pay inr 20, 000/- while amin after the material & labour discount was charging me 22, 000/-!! All these convoluted quotes itself indicate that they are only trying to make money out me!!

                              I have checked with multiple other people who’ve been into the car business, and all of them have confirmed that engine head cannot have such a problem, specially since the car is not very old and has hardly run 21, 867kms.
                              I am amazed that a company like volkswagen can fool and cheat their clients like this. Since i could not drive my car out, i had to leave it there and i have told amin & amol to ensure they correct whatever the problem and give me the car back in the same condition that i had given it to them in…but they have refused to do any work on this, unless and until i agree to bear the cost of inr 22, 000/-, which i have refused.

                              I urge you to look into this immediately and assist, as i would not pay volkswagen even a penny for this, since it is a mischief they have played and i should not be penalized for this. As of now, my car is with them, so please do expedite, as i am worried they will mess it up more!

                              This has been resolved. The company agreed to their error and have repaired my car...though some issues still exist, but something is better than nothing. Thanks

                                Sir, it is been observed that stepny wheel/spare wheel is smaller than other wheels, technically it is
                                serious, but while selling the product it is not been told to us. Now please do some thing to remove this problem.

                                The rim of all the wheels is very weak, in small ditches falls, then it bends, it has occurred about four times,

                                please look into matter as soon as possible...your customer care is unable to convince me.

                                  Respected Sir/Madam, I am Dr.M.Prabakaran, I own a Volkswagen Jetta, which was bought in May 2013. On 12/10/2013, while driving on National Highway 7, my car's left front tyre got punctured and on inspection, the alloy wheel was bent. For which, I contacted VW Trichy on 13/10/2013, they responded saying that it will take 15 days for getting a new alloy wheel for Rs 28, 500 only. Then immediately, I contacted VW Puducherry on 13/10/2013 itself, till date, there is NO RESPONSE from their side. I am not able to use my car since 3 days, as the spare wheel is steel rim, and I do not have a spare wheel in case of a puncture or similar issue. I have registered a complaint to the Customer Care of VW India on 14/10/2013 at around 09:00 AM, my complaint number is CAL36799. I received an acknowledgement SMS to my mobile at 09:24 AM that my complaint has been assigned to VW Puducherry. Almost 36 hours after posting a complaint, still there is no response from the company. Should i move legally in this issue to sort it out? my email id is [protected]@gmail.com

                                    UK 04 M 8076 since I have bought the car, there is a complaint of the glasses (both side and front glass) becoming foggy when the ac is switched on, specially in the rainy season. The fog comes from inside and is not removed by moving wipers or directing the fan blow towards the glasses. It causes a lot of trouble to drive the car. I have complained against it in Viraj Motors Kanpur Pvt. Ltd., but they could not detect the flaw and assured of discussing it with the head authorities but till now no information has come. There is also a problem in the front two wheels which could not be cured by the service Centre.                                       This is in accordance to the incident which occurred at The Volkswagen Tornado Workshop, Andheri (E), Mumbai, India. I own a Polo 1.6 bearing a registration no. MH 02 CB 5784 which I regularly service at the above mentioned workshop. I have been sending the car for even the minutest noise in the cabin in relation to the dashboard or the mountings. This time there was a repeat complaint of an in cabin noise of the dashboard and as the work done previously was not satisfactory, infact the noise was still persistent; after a test drive and a payment of INR 4624 I realised that the car will have to be sent back for the unresolved problem. When returned I was told that the problem would be resolved this time and that I will have to leave the car at the service centre yet again. On the date of collection of the car I noticed another problem - 3 speakers of the car which were initially in perfect working condition before handing over the car at the service centre had stopped working leaving only 1 speaker in working condition. I immediately informed the service advisor Mr. Pradeep kadam about the problem and gave the car back. When Mr. Kadam checked the speakers, he said that the speakers have failed and that it was not under their responsibility. I was further introduced to Ms. Aarti N, who I believe is the Sr. manager. When I narrated the incident to her she refused to be of any help and again said it was not her responsibility. Her behaviour was not at all cooperative, infact she was arrogant and treated the concern as a pain and a hindrance to her daily schedule. Emoji When approached again in a couple of days I was told that the work was done only on the dashboard and there was no relation between the dashboard and the speakers. I am at a loss to understand WHO IS RESPONSIBLE for this loss. If a customer leaves his car at a service centre it is the responsibility of the service centre to make sure the car is given back in the same condition as it was handed over and not with any further problems. How am i to believe that the speakers were not tampered at the service centre. The above damage is not only monetary but also a loss of faith and loyalty towards such VW service centre where a customer is not sure in what condition he would get his car back. I want an explanation in this regard and also want to know who will be paying for this negligence of service quality at your end. PS - There has also been an event when my car was brushed against another car by your service agent in their premises and this was not brought to my notice until I saw the scratches on the hind bumper and the fresh paint of the other blue car which was also damaged. This was not made into a big issue understanding customer ethics and was then repainted. Disappointed by your service AGAIN,
