I am very much disappointed with the poor response and indifferent approach from Indian management of Volkswagen. Finally I have decided to spend from my pocket and resolve the issue rather than meeting a fatal accident on road. Copies of two letters attached are self-explanatory. Dear Madam, SUB : PASSAT VOLKSWAGEN GI 1 KN 9406. It is really very much disturbing that a company of such a reputation is turning its ears off to the serious complaints. When a decision to purchase a vehicle is taken brand and services are also kept in mind but unfortunately we are very much disappointed with the kind response we are getting. In fact no response from your side. In mid January, 13 verbally we have lodged complaint about inferior quality of tyres in our car which was later on confirmed 1st Feb., 13 by putting our complaint in writing. After lefts of 3 months no actions are taken from your end. Next week we will be sending car for service and hope free replacement of 2 tyres shall be given at the time. Besides the functioning of air conditioning is problematic therefore kindly look into this problem. We are sending this letter along with letter dtd. 1st Feb., 13 by e-mail as well as by fax. The defects was brought to your notice when mileage of the car was 3000 kmts and we have requested for some actions which are yet not taken.     My brand new vento met with an accident two and half months back ( apx ). I gave the vehicle for repairing under insurance at volkswagen trivandrum on 13.6.13 and its being more than 2 months till date . They havnt delivered the vehicle yet and I made a visit 2 days before and I could see that they havnt even covered the seats which is now stuffed with stains . Itz weird and I request you yhe concerned to take necessary action against this situation as earlier as possible.

      I had submited my taxi claim in january 2013 they told me that they will give my money in march 2013. And when i go to the showroom service manager asked me tha sorry sir i have losted you taxi claim form or its maybe misplaced. Please submita a copy than again i submit a copy in march month and he asked me to give my money in june. Today is augast 24 and i am getting many excuses by them. My car reg. is cg10 fa 7130.

        We wish to bring to your kind attention recent problem that we have facted with Volks Wagaon,Jeeta brand.

        1)Car owner : Rasiklal C Shah

        2)VW Model : Jetta

        3)Kms run :75,000

        4)Problem : Car was send for 75,000 km service to Automak Motors Pvt Ltd, Rajkot and after the service following problems noticed
        a) After the service the noise in engine has increased and we have doubt that some
        Tempering is done in service or some parts have been changed.
        Cost of reparing told to us Rs46,000

        b) AC Compressor tempered during last service. AC not working properly since last service
        Cost of replacement is Rs 76,000

        5)Our concerns : Tempering at VW workshop

        a) Is the life of Gear Box 75000 kms only ?Even the Economy car has better life
        Car is being properly maintained

        b) Is the life ofAC Compressor 75000 kms only ?


        6) Actions Taken : a)Wrote to customer care. No response

        b)VW website does not list contact details of offices of VW

        c) Customer care no listed on website customer care no[protected] and interacted .
        The lady didn’t gave no of any representative of VW or office of VW.

        d) We called two dealers sales Head .They also didn’t gave no of Company office or any company representative contact details.

        This is the status of customer care of world famous brand.

        It seems that this is VW style of doing business.
        VW staff and dealer staff(higher ups) are hiding from customer.
        Not even their contact details available.

        we want you draw your attention to other customers about such tempering going at Rajkot workshop and the
        customer hiding attitude of VW staff.

          Currentlu I am using Volkswagen Vento Highline DIESEL.. But with in a year its shocker Mounts had been destroyed due to which there is wear and tear in my car tyres. I asked the volkswagen dealer to replace in warranty period but the refused to do so...
          i suggest others not to take this car..
          its Maintence cost is high as well as has bad quality of parts installed.....
          please help me to replace the part.....

            i am using a car volkswagen vento Highline model, and i have just completed 2 years using this car, now i am facing problems on each and every day.ploblems in the middle blowers, problem in the ingnition key cylinder, Now the problem in Clutch pedal, it is broken now. They have using very poor quality parts, to compete in the indian market, I suggest everyone, do not buy this brand . i f the company feels i am wrong, then call me on my number [protected] / [protected].

              Dear Concern,

              My Name is CHAKRADHAR, I am a TAP Officer.

              I won a VENTO DIESEL HIGH LINE 2011 Model, (AP 03 AW 0079), From ATR Cars, Nellore, Andhra Pradesh.

              I insured it with 0% depreciation. At the time of insurance, staff at show room told that, with this type of insurance I will get 100% claim and at the time of claiming it is very easy and no need to submit any FIR copy or Photos. They misguided me and made me to go for this.

              Now recently my vehicle met with an accident at Chennai. When I tried to claim my insurance at the same show room, now they are telling lot of rules and confused me and created lot of inconvenience.

              I am very much sad about this and we were shocked that, a brands like VOLKESWAGEN handling customers like this.

              Sir I don’t have trust on the insurance company, I chosen it because Employees in VOLKSWAGEN showroom recommended. Because of the trust I have on the Brand I paid to that insurance Company.

              I chose VOLKESWAGEN because of the Brand value and its service.

              Almost with my guidance my relatives and colleagues purchased 2 Vento’s and 3 Polo’s.

              Even I am in need for a GT TSI, but now I am in a dilemma whether am I choosing the right brand.

              With the same showroom I complained 4 times regarding the AC problem, but they never rectified it.

              When ever I received feed back call after service, I even told them the same but no use.

              I kindly request you to please look in to this immediate.

              Still my CAR is at that showroom.

              VOLKSWAGEN — Delay in Delivery and no response of queries

              Hi,
              I have booked Volkswagen Vento Trendline Petrol Black on 3rd May 2011. I was told that delivery will be done in 15 days. Now its more than a month and there is no update on delivery of car. I have contacted Volkswagen on their website also but no response.

              This delay has caused me lot of tension as I had promised my daughter to take her in new car during her summer vacations. I have also paid advance and EMI's have started, am paying interest on something that's not delivered yet.

                    My clute plates has been burn second time my car is under warranty but the Volkswagen is asking to pay near about 17500.00 for damages as my car comes under warranty period Despite of sending lot of mail to Volkswagen but they are not replying the same..Pls help on this issue.

                      My car stopped in water which was logged in whole city on 13th june 2013 due to heavy rains. We called road service service provided by Volkaswagen at 12 noon & they assured to pick the car by 1.30. After repeated calls they reached in evening at 6 P.M. After picking the car they handed it over to Lally Motors, Ludhiana in our presence. Next day there was no call from Lally Motors.When we tried to contact they said that they are diagnosing. After three days they said that there is water in engine ,rod is bent ,self is burnt. How can water reach engine so easily .We live in a country with heavy monsoons ,is the car not designed that way . Moreover how can a pipe bend ,your agents picked the car after it stopped ,your engineers are diagnosing it ,we left the car the moment it stopped & before that car was working properly . Now the question is WHAT SHOULD BE DONE ,SUPPOSE YOUR ENGINEERS REPAIR IT ,WE AGAIN GET STUCK IN RAIN WHAT IS THE GUARANTEE THAT CAR WILL NOT STOP. Please attend to the complaint urgently & what you think should we do

                        I booked a Polo GT TSI on 25th May 2013 through Volkswagen dealer "Elite Motors Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore". The Manager and the Sales Person committed that the delivery of the car would be done in 4 weeks time. Based on their commitment I applied for a loan and in the meanwhile sold of my old car as soon as I got a promising buyer.

                        After 2 weeks, when I called the sales person Mr. Nizam, he straight away said that delivery will happen only after 2 months!!! Thereafter, I called the Manager, Mr.Raghu and he also stated some crap logic and justification for the delay in delivery. Later again when I called Raghu he said that delivery will be done only by 1st or 2nd week of August 2013 and when I questioned him regarding the value of this statement, he promptly answered that he will send an SMS confirming that the delivery will be in the 1st week of August. Later, he sent me an SMS stating that he will UPDATE me on the status of delivery by 3rd week of August!!!!
                        Is he out of his senses or is this a culture followed at VW???

                        Needless to say, because of their callous attitude and irresponsible behavior, I am spending the monsoons without a car and the loan has been approved which has a validity period of only 30days!!!

                        Can you please help and find out as to who is accountable for all this??? Should any customer be made to suffer just because he trusted the brand called Volkswagen???

                        It leaves me wondering how the after sales service would be if they are not concerned about giving a good buying experience to the customer!!!!

                        I want your intervention in settling this and saving me from further inconvenience.

                          Volkswagen Polo was my first car and I bought it soon after they ventured in India. The truth is I am totally disappointed with the servicing & the behavior of the staff.

                          The reason being - since the time I have bought my car I have been facing issues with the engine (EPC & vibration), the result is shutting of the engine while it is running! Also, the pick up speed of the car has been affected. Because of the same it is always in the service center. From last 6 months the problem has aggravated to an extent that my car is in service center every month for the same problem. Despite visiting the service center multiple times over last months the problem still persists. This time however I got my car back after 6 days of being in service center under the illusion that the problem would be rectified this time… only to realize not to my surprise that the car showed the same problem precisely after 2 days of running.

                          The harassment just doesn’t stop here, the worst part about the experience is the behavior of the Volkswagen team, In today’s time and age when companies ensure that customer satisfaction is of priority, Volkswagen team cares a damn about the same. Despite of continuous complaints over the last 6 months and not even a single soul has thought it is their responsibility to call and resolve the same.

                          So as a harassed customer since It was my decision to buy Volkswagen Polo without understanding all the aspects of an automobile, I had to proactively call the representatives repeatedly. I still had the faith that atleast after listening to my side of the story someone from the company will sympathize with me and give me a solution.

                          But I must tell you what happened “ I was told by Ms. Rashmi, from Volkswagen Downtown to SELL MY CAR, which I just bought 3 years back after paying through my nose… Is this answer acceptable??
                          Despite repeated reminders and 10,000 calls, I still stand in the same place where I was 6 months ago and hence yet again sending my car at the disposal of few equipped and experience mechanics who seem to solve the biggest problem in the world’s largest car company, but are unable to help me!

                          Now I repent my decision of buying a Volkswagen…

                          Volkswagen/Polo — Service

                          My car (POLO) is only 1 yr old,
                          It has developed Manufacturing Engine defect (vibration on neutral) .
                          It has been in the workshop(Volswaken meerut) for more than 2 weeks and they are not even able to figure out the defect/problem.
                          I want the car to be replaced as it is in warranty period.

                          Volkswagen Polo — Worst Product & Services

                          I have Polo TDI. It is the worst car for Indian Roads. Its Oil chamber is broken thrice in 1 and a half year time and the services of its dealers are worst.

                          RUSTY CHROME LOGOS AND FRONT GRILL PARTS

                          I own a volkswagen vento trendline dec.2010 model car. The chrome logo on the rear gets rusty and the fron grill parts having chrome strip are also rusty. I do not know why such a Good brand is using inferior quality of chrome parts

                            I have problem with my Polo Air conditioner. The car bought in 2011 September. I did just 50, 000KM on my car. Went to LM Auto Care Pvt.Ltd., Guntur who said AC blower fan motor needs to be replaced. It is more than a week now and they say they ordered for the part and they are yet to receive it. I sent 3emails to customer care. They all land with the same LM Auto care Pvt.Ltd. and i get the same reply. I am from Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, where temperatures rule 48 degrees Centigrade & above during summer. No body bothers & nobody cares at the so called reputed world class Auto manufacturers - Volkeswagon!!! The dealers just don't bother. Can any one give me contact numbers of their service heads in Mumbai? Wish to give a try & see it they care.

                            i gave a car at service station at mehsana, its been now ten days go but my car. Still not repaired. And every person worked in VW mehsana told different things above car...

                              I booked vento high line diesel car in PPS motors pvt limited ,Hyd with advance of INR 50000 on April 24th . I was promised that vehicle will be delivered on 7th May .So I payed the complete amount on May 6th . On 7th May they called me and said vehicle is not available right now and will take 10 more days .Even after 10 days they were are not able to deliver the car . Its been 30 days from the date they promised and still they are not able to deliver the car .

                              What can be done in this case . I bought lone and paid the dealer . I have no car in hand and still need to pay interest for the lone .

I took for annual service to APPLE AUTO, WHITE FIELD BANGALORE..Now they are saying break pads are worn out needs replacement. I checked with a mechanic , he says faulty pads are fitted.

                                Volkswagen is using faulty material in VENTO for break pads.

                                  i purchased jetta diesel in 2008. i bought from elite motors.from the start i have been having issues with them when it came to servicing.the mistakes told are never attended; never handed over on the time fixed; never entertained request for pick up from home & delivery for service.
                                  a few days back bangalore had a huge down pour as a result my garage got flooded, as a result my car got filled up with water. It did start but i could not move the gear shift since it is an automatic version.I called up service centre of elite on hosur road. they said bring it to workshop, i said i can't shift the gear to neutral & how will i move it. they said it is not our problem. they told to contact the 24/7 road recovery. i spoke to them . they said your warranty has expired we do not cover you. i told them i am ready pay for the transportation they said we can't help you. Again i went back to elite motors & spoke they probably spoke to the recovery agent & he asked to me call them again. Again i called up the road recovery agency. they said we will recover it to hesarghatta location, i said it is too far, the nearest for me is elite. They said we do not render service to elite motors, also he added i want the vehicle in neutral. I knew i have come back to square one. Again i called up elite motors to provide some technical assistance to have the car gear deactivated, he told i can't spare any technician & he also said i don't care what you do i will only look up you car if you bring it to our workshop.

                                  i do not know what to do pull my hair in desperation or what. this is the response of the so called reputed german company.shame on you guys. i hope people should boycot this company since its service is horrendous. they believe in sales & arrogance personified for service.

                                    This is in regards to the Integrated Music System for Polo which I purchased from Frontier Autoworld PVT LTD. on 22nd June 2012.



                                    It has a Nippon music system (with 1 year warranty) and the speakers given with the system are so pathetic that every 3 months they needed a replacement. I have already got them replaced 3 times and now I am being told that I need to directly approach to the Nippon dealer who is somewhere located in Sector-14 Gurgaon.



                                    First of all, my concern is with the kind of product company is offering that it goes bad every 3 months. Secondly, music system is still in warranty... how can showroom guys ask me to contact distributor directly.



                                    I have given my hard earned 15,000 INR for this music system and why should I be roaming around, if your product has a problem.



                                    I want either my complete money to be refunded or a replacement of speakers wherein I would need a written gaurantee that they will not go bad again in 3 months time.

                                      I can honestly tell you that we as a family are embarrassed to be associated with Elite Motors.
                                      Your Quality of Car Service, Responsiveness of Customer queries & quality of staff is just pathetic.

                                      Points we need to bring up with seniors. If you are not senior enough to address these issues, please get us in contact with someone who can be held accountable for such pathetic customer service.
                                      Coordinated with your service center for Car Servicing for over 1 Month. (No car company in bangalore will wait that long to pick up the car for service). Excuse I got from your customer service executive, "Sir, your house is too far, it will take us few days to coordinate the pick up"
                                      Our car was returned without the service getting done.
                                      Car was not even cleaned/ washed before returning.
                                      We complained about something loose in the under body which was given back to us without getting fixed. This is after we got a call from the service center asking about the under body issue.
                                      After receiving the car, we called customer service to complain about the same and they tell us, "Sir, your car was not picked up for Service/ Maintenance, it was picked up for repairs." This is a Lie. More importantly, even the repairs was not done. (Your executive just blatantly lied)
                                      We have attached the receipt which clearly indicates that car was sent for service, not repairs. You have charged us for "General Check up" & "Washing". Both were not done.
                                      Wiper Fluid was not filled up. (An automatic indicator which comes inside the car). Just means no one even looked inside the car during 'service'.
                                      Before handing in the car for service, we even mentioned about left side front window button not working. This also has not been fixed. We were told it will be fixed in 2 days. It has been 1 week, no contact from your customer service department yet.
                                      Finally you picked it up at a cost of Rs. 500. My son in laws Maruti SX4 has free pick up & drop off.
                                      You provide a 'Bill' with: no contact number, no email address and no Fax number. Shameful!!!
                                      After going through this level of service with an esteemed institution as yours, it is unfortunate we own not one but 2 VW cars.
                                      A mistake I will never make again in my life. Rest assured, I will never in my life be recommending your cars and definitely not Elite Motors.

                                        I have got a volkswagen Pasat. I have had very bad experience with Volkswagen.

                                        I had problems in my Tyre Bearings.. and Got It changed for hefty Amount..

                                        I asked the reason what was the reason that they were damaged. There was no ans.
                                        and leading to that i had to get my tyres changed at at 30000km instead on 45-50000 for these type of cars.. All the four tyres and two bearings were a costly affair.
                                        They have no reason.

                                        I bought the car in 2007 and from the start of 2008. The ac has been very bad.. its not working properly...

                                        I took it to the service center... They worked made a bill... and after one year the problem was back.

                                        I went to them again.. they said the whole Ac would be changed and cost you around RS- 70000/-
                                        They said this is general problem with vento and passat.
                                        I asked why did you not tell me for the problem before so i could have changed in gurantee.. He said it was better off that time.

                                        Anyhow. i went and got it repaired outside showroom it got better not the best.

                                        Just before i got my tyre changed i went to bhasin motors they said you tyre bearing is gone. I told them about 2 changes they said one more needs to be changed. Anyhow.. First i got the tyres changed and then asked the person he said no you dont need to change the bearing.

                                        It was such a shock to me that 2 days before he told get the remaning bearing changed and then tyre. But at last when i got the tyres changed first..

                                        They said its ok because they could not prove.

                                        I have spent a handsome amount on its repair works and the cooperation by them is pathetic.

                                        I have had these problems at volkswagen noida. and Bhasin motors combined.
