A) we brought the ac on 2018 april and the installation was performed by voltas field technician and paid around 4000 rs for the installation and copper cable.
B) from the day this ac was installed we have not used it every time we on the ac we get only the fan no cooling, we were suspecting this is an voltage issue with our apartment. By then the first summer went even without using because we do not stay in this house for long time.
C) just few months back since the summer was starting we thought of fixing it and raised a complaint with voltas and some technician came and said the gas is over and we
Need to refill it. The gas was over so soon since the initial installation was not done properly we paid 2000 rs. But the issue remains the same.
D) since we are relocating from the current place to another place we raised a request with voltas for uninstall of the ac and paid 1200 rs for voltas technician charges.
E) during the unistallation the voltas technician informed that the copper pipe is broken during the initial installation and the guys who did this have covered with form to cover up the damage to the copper pipe. That is the reason we were not able to get the cooling
F) now voltas technician is asking for 8000 rs for fixing the ac and for installing it in new location. And took the old copper cable along with him. Telling me that he will check if this pipe can be used again or we need a new one.

    I would like to submit this petition for your kind consideration and favourable disposal.

    On[protected] I had purchased an Inverter Voltas Air Conditioner @ the cost of Rs.34, 200/- (Unit Sl. No.4551741A14E002618) from M/s. QRS Ltd, Ernakulam, considering the opinion of my kith and kins that Voltas is one of the best option A/C among the A/Cs in India, as it gained vast experience because it is one of the oldest Companies in the field of Air-conditioner in India.

    Since the A/C had shown inadequate cooling, upon my request, on[protected], your authorised Service Agent of Voltas, Ernakulam, M/s. New-Tech Cool Solution, Ponjasserry, Perumbavoor, vide (Invoice No.3092 dated[protected], Voltas Call No. [protected] dated[protected] had attended the A/C and tried to rectify the defects. Although they claimed that they have rectified the defects, the defects prevailed even after their rectification report as stated above. Since the A/c has produced inadequate cooling, yet again, I had reminded the Agent/Mechanic on several occasions all through this one and half years, and although they had attended the A/C then and there, no proper and rightful rectification of defects has been carried out by them, resulting its original defects persists till date. Fed up with their lackadaisical attitude, I on 09/02/2019, formally complained to Mr. Manzoor, Service head of M/s. New-Tech Cool Solution, authorised of M/s. Voltas, Ernakulam. In response, one Mr. Rejit, Mechanic/Technician of M/s. New-tech Cool Solution attended the A/C unit and reported to me that the PC Boards are defective and hence PC Boards have to be replaced. Accordingly, he brought back the defective PC Boards to his service House for repair, but he on next day came back and refitted the same in the AC Unit, telling me that the PC Boards are in irreparable conditions. Based on that, Mr. Mansoor, Service Head, telephonically informed that new PC Boards have already booked and to wait for one month which may cost around Rs.10, 000/-. Over and above, on[protected], I received, a mobile message which I am reproducing hereunder for your reference and guidance. “Dear Customer Your SR No.[protected] proposed for cancellation, Reason beyond repair Machine. Call on [protected] to stop cancellation.”

    Accordingly I waited for one month for the new PC Boards. Unfortunately, since I have not been received the new PC Boards, I, on 1st week of March, contacted Mr. Kumaraselvam, Area Sales Manager of M/s. Voltas Ltd, Ernakulam about the whereabouts of the PC Boards. He informed me that “since the Company has stopped production of this type/model of AC Unit, and hence this PC Boards are not-available in stock or in as spare parts in the Company, he suggested to go for under “buy-back” policy a new Branded inverter A/c Unit provided I pay a sum of Rs.15, 000/-“
    Later on, after innumerable number of tele-conversations with Mr. Kumaraselvam, he again asked me to send an e-mail to the District Manager also, with copy to him, stating all the facts as stated above, for any variation in buy-back amount. Accordingly, on[protected], I sent an e-mail to Dist Manager, (BSM one Pradeep) and Mr.Kumaraselvam, in this connection, copy of which is enclosed for your ready reference and follow-up action wherein I have offered a sum of Rs.10, 000/- as a settlement of this ‘long pending issue’.

    To my dismay, on[protected] evening, in an volte face approach Mr. Kumaraselvam, telephonically informed me that he had consulted with his higher authorities regarding the issue and accordingly, M/s. Voltas would provide a new Branded AC provided I pay Rs.22, 000/- contrary to his earlier ‘offer’/‘promise’ of Rs.15, 000/- being a ‘punishment’ of purchasing an Inverter A/C and for the perseverance I and my family have undergone all through this 2 and half years. This type and kind of somersault from the part of Mr. Kumaraselvam and M/s. Voltas is in simple words not a customer-friendly approach. However, I reserve my anguish and further course of action, waiting your reply in this regard.

    I would like to draw your kind attention that from the very installation date itself, (10.04.2016) the A/C has displayed inherent disability/manufacturing defect to produce adequate cool, and your rectification efforts has miserably failed, due to which I and my family have been suffering during the 2-3 summer seasons.

    In this connection, I hereby point out that I am aware that the A/c has only one year guarantee except its Compressor which has 5 years warrantee. The defect has arisen in the A/C Unit within the guarantee period of one year itself which you would convince with the proof of evidence I have referred in the foregoing paragraphs and from the tele-con./ Records kept in your ‘computer system’.

    However, considering the essentiality of the service of AC during this heavy summer season, and in order to settle the issue amicably, I extend my whole-hearted support by offering a sum of Rs.10, 000/- for the replacement of AC, eventhough, I am entitled to the replacement of new branded A/c free of cost, in the wake of the occurrence of the defect in the AC a manufacturing defect well within the period of one year guarantee period.

    Hence, I would request you to kindly look into the matter sympathetically and action may be taken to replace A/C with new one, which, I am ready to raise/pay Rs.10, 000/- as has been already agreed to.

      Refer 3no 1 tonne split AC delivered in greenfield ambition complex flat, 11B, HIG tower 4 new town, kolkata 700156, against invoice dated 26/01/2019 from great Eastern trading company salt lake branch kolkata West Bengal & further to the telephonic call made during second week March for verification of serial no of products etc mail confirming the extended warranty details & acceptance have still not been received by me even though the same was promised from your end

        I had purchased a 1.0 Voltas SAC 12Y DY model Inverter AC on 22/03/16 from a dealer Alliance Electronics, N Paravoor in Ernakulam, Kerala.
        From October 2018 on wards the ac was not working properly, So i raised a complaint (SR No.[protected]) on 13/10/2018, and technician visited more than 5 times,
        but the issue was not resolved.

        On 31/10/2018 service center person called me personally and said to me that 'Please report that the ac's issue is resolved, and they will repair it by next day because they have to close that SR by month end otherwise they will have to pay penalty to Voltas.

        I believed them but they cant fix it even i waited till FEB/2019 .So i raised a new complaint (SR No.[protected]) on 18/02/19 and a new service center agency person visited more than 4 times, but they cant also fix the issue. They were told that the compressor is complaint so it need to be replaced, but their ASM visited to my home and said that the compressor is fine and it is a board issue,
        So he requested me to take it to their workshop and i have transported to their workshop with my own cost.

        And i have waited till 22/03/19 for receiving its board . And they were told me that around 7000/- rupees i have to pay for the board replacement.
        But on 23/03/19 they are saying that another board is also complaint so it is also to be replaced with compressor.
        So i have to pay around 14000/- rupees, but now they were telling that its parts are discontinued, so they will give another offer like Buy Back Offer so
        i have to pay 15000/- rupees and they will give new AC . Even that ac is cheaper than my old model i agreed to them to give that ac and i will pay
        15000/- rupees .

        But now they are telling that i have to pay 20000/- rupees for buy back offer.
        How can a customer face this situation even i have waited more than 6 months in this hotter season. And i have used that AC only for 2.5 years.
        This is a very worst experience from Voltas service. And more than 10 service persons opened the ac carelessly and most of the plastic parts inside are broken.
        How can a customer face this situation ?, because i had invested 33000/- rupees for buying this worst ac.

        The service center ( COOL Care Refrigeration) is saying that they are new to Voltas and they don't know what to do in this situation!.
        If that ac was a LLOYD AC then they will do something, because they also had a LLOYD ac service center.
        Is that what i expecting from a popular companies service center?

        And their ASM ( Mr. Kumaraselven) always lie that he will resolve that ac and if it is not done he will give
        new ac for 15000/- rupees. Such an irresponsible guy, and also their BSM (Mr.Pradeep) .Now he is not taking my calls.

        If i am not getting any proper response I will give a petition to consumer court and face it legally for getting proper compensation.

        I have 12 ACs of voltas company for my hotel. all are working but some AC is not cooling so my customers are very disappointed with this, kindly send some technician who can resolve this.

          This is balaswamy, i purchased voltas inverter air conditioner on 18/3/19, and it was delivered on 22 of march, and i placed a request for installation but till now that is after 4 days also, i didn't receive any call or any other info regarding installation. I am feeling very bad about this kind of worst service from such a reputed brand. So atleast now consider my installation request as fast as possible.

            a/c service charge

            I purchased voltas inverter 1.5 ton ac from ags rathna stores, pondy bazaar, t nagar, chennai, tamilnadu on 21st march 2019 and it was delivered on 23rd march 2019. They tried installing that but outdoor unit sometimes starts or it starts and stops after few minutes. They told it was electricity problem but i got it checked through an electrician and it was fine. Finally they agreed to change the ac but they are saying it will take 1 week time. I don't understand how it will take one week of time and what do i need to do for this one week? Please resolve this issue asap as i have invested lot of time and money on this.                     I. Bought 1.5 ton split ac of voltas from bajaj electronics hyderabad on 12th march 2019 company sent me a very inefficient and irresponsible installation mechanic who even did not have basic tools like screw driver and drill machine. He came and simply told me that this ac installation is not possible in your room. He told me a very hefty amount of work for the installation. When i told him that there are other flats in the same apartment with ac installation in the same bedroom location he did not listen to me and very hastily closed the call and went away. Why voltas is sending such a responsible and stupid mechanics who did not know how to deal with the customers. Plz plz, stay away from this crooks and don't ever buy anything from voltas. When i complained to the store manager,, naseem, he promised to visit me but never turn up. They cheated me in the name of tata brand but don't fall for that. Rotten tata is not going to attend your problems here. Buy a good imported brand from trusted stores.

                      I purchased volta's 1 ton ac product on 18th feb 19 through tatacliq. Delivered on 22nd and installation done on 23rd. Problem will start on 5th march 19. Out door fan is not working. Service engineer said board problem. They said we put a request for board on that day. Uma service center owner will told to me, the problem will be solved on 11th evening. But they did not contact me till today. I put several requests on volta's services and make calls to customer care and emails to social media also... Uma service centre said board is not reached us, customer care said with in 24 hours our team will contact you, volta's social media said give some time our team will contact you... These dialogues were repeated from 11th march 19. How many days you want to solve my problem. Today i will make a calls to asm narendra reddy also. He said i will talk with uma service point and close it soon... Whatever day after tomorrow i submit written complaint to mumbai head office... New ac with in 10 days the problem occurred, the quality of the product not good. It's totally volta's mistake.. But still now you consider my case in regular warranty point of view. My name is p. Don't worry sir, i am giving very long time to your team and at the same time half of the March month is already completed... i think this is not sufficient to your team... take one month after completion of the march.. may be your team is supporting me... Thank you sir to all of your team for supporting me till now from 8th march... Your voltas service center "UMA SERVICE" is very poor service... They give quick response regarding complaint with training students. They have no experience regarding Inverter ACs and at the same time they are using my NEW AC is useful to them for learning the experience... Today i write a written complaint to Mumbai Head Office regarding your services and day after tomorrow i went to the consumer court for justice. Thanking you so much for your support. I have all request mails, warrant bills, Invoice, When i make a complaints and what you are replied time, Regarding Uma service point and your ASM T. Narendra Reddy (he said after one week (its wonder) i don't know regarding your complaint, i talk with uma service point and resolve your problem. Still now he is also not solve my problem... Why you are taking more time (11 days)... Board is ordered on 8th (Uma service engineer said).. Even AC is coming with in 5 days to my home. But Board is not still pending... Uma service also having the same ODU (service engineer said). But they are not solve my problem. main problem with Service point... Thanking you for your support to solve my problem (after 11 days of time they ask allow us some time)... very nice.. take your own time... it is not old ac... Its NEW with in one week the problem will started (first of all you know that one)... Ok sir day after tomorrow I lodge a complaint in consumer court...

                      One call is coming from VOLTAS (he said refund is sent to your account, please send the details).. But i bought it for 29990 on 18 th February.. He take old AC from my home and fit to New AC... But what about my installation charges (1500/-)... and at the same time now the same ac is 31800 (aprx)... That about the difference... i am asking please replace the ODU with new one. Why it is not possible... So much time is wasted... what about this...

You are also said we ordered board on 8th March 2019. Why you are asking now. They said "we are receiving a call from Voltas thats why i am asking"... I am said what about 12 days what you are doing till now regarding my AC and why you cancel my request due to phone is not reachable... Today how my phone is reachable... Please give proper instructions to Uma Services, Guntur (They are not giving respect to the customers)

                        I purchased voltas split ac twice. First from kohinoor malad west mumbai shop on march 3rd 2019 i was despatch 2018 unit. This i returned to the showroom.

                        Second time i made purchase on mar 9th, 2019 from croma malad west mumbai. Post enquirying with sales personnel. He confirmed 2019 unit will be despatched. But to my dismay, 2017 unit was sent.

                        Want to know whether voltas has stopped manufacturing new units. Why the dealers are despatching only old units.

                        Are voltas brand not saleable hence dealers are holding only old inventories. Why one would pay price of 2019 and buy product of 2017. Is voltas fooling consumers by selling only old unit. This is not accepted by tata, who are tarnishing their image.

                        Due to Voltas pathetic approach. I have decided to purchase other brand of Split A/c.
                        I am really thankful to Voltas to help me make my decision and change my mind to some other Brand.

                        I will urge on the customers to beware of Voltas A/c. Customers make purchase in 2019 and they despatch unit of 2017.

                            I purchased a voltas inverter ac 1.5 ton on 13.03.19 and the technician installed it on 14.03.19. While checking the motors coil got burnt and ac is not working. Today 15.03.19 technician came and unfit the motor. Need a proper motor without any complaint. My job card no.is [protected]. Here with i attached my bill and the pics of faulty motor. Without even a single day usage i got this complaint. Just get me a good one without no complaints.

The service center and the technician kept pushing the time by 5-10 minutes every half hour i called giving some irrelevant reason every time.                                   We used them for AC repair and unfortunately, this was one of our biggest blunder. They kept on sending new person on every visit ( 5 so far I) who found new mistakes everytime..There is absolutely no coordination amongst them internally. Today, I gave up on them as it looks like they have damaged my working AC.WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE

                                    I purchased voltas 70 l water cooler with remote control. There is a tank alarm system in this unit. Even if there is sufficient water level it gives an alarm due to which water pump will not work. Every year i cont change the sensors for tank alarm unit. Please ask them to give a parmanent solution for this issue or change the unit which doesn’t have this system.

Currently voltas is running extended warranty program in place of 1 year to 5 year for all the ac purchased. When i contacted voltas customer care for the extended warranty they said flipkart is not their authorized seller and they cannot provide the extended warranty. If flipkart is not the authorised seller, why voltas is allowing them to sell the product. Many of consumer like me will be filling looted here by voltas or flipkart here.
