I had purchased a 1.0 Voltas SAC 12Y DY model Inverter AC on 22/03/16 from a dealer Alliance Electronics, N Paravoor in Ernakulam, Kerala.
From October 2018 on wards the ac was not working properly, So i raised a complaint (SR No.[protected]) on 13/10/2018, and technician visited more than 5 times,
but the issue was not resolved.
On 31/10/2018 service center person called me personally and said to me that 'Please report that the ac's issue is resolved, and they will repair it by next day because they have to close that SR by month end otherwise they will have to pay penalty to Voltas.
I believed them but they cant fix it even i waited till FEB/2019 .So i raised a new complaint (SR No.[protected]) on 18/02/19 and a new service center agency person visited more than 4 times, but they cant also fix the issue. They were told that the compressor is complaint so it need to be replaced, but their ASM visited to my home and said that the compressor is fine and it is a board issue,
So he requested me to take it to their workshop and i have transported to their workshop with my own cost.
And i have waited till 22/03/19 for receiving its board . And they were told me that around 7000/- rupees i have to pay for the board replacement.
But on 23/03/19 they are saying that another board is also complaint so it is also to be replaced with compressor.
So i have to pay around 14000/- rupees, but now they were telling that its parts are discontinued, so they will give another offer like Buy Back Offer so
i have to pay 15000/- rupees and they will give new AC . Even that ac is cheaper than my old model i agreed to them to give that ac and i will pay
15000/- rupees .
But now they are telling that i have to pay 20000/- rupees for buy back offer.
How can a customer face this situation even i have waited more than 6 months in this hotter season. And i have used that AC only for 2.5 years.
This is a very worst experience from Voltas service. And more than 10 service persons opened the ac carelessly and most of the plastic parts inside are broken.
How can a customer face this situation ?, because i had invested 33000/- rupees for buying this worst ac.
The service center ( COOL Care Refrigeration) is saying that they are new to Voltas and they don't know what to do in this situation!.
If that ac was a LLOYD AC then they will do something, because they also had a LLOYD ac service center.
Is that what i expecting from a popular companies service center?
And their ASM ( Mr. Kumaraselven) always lie that he will resolve that ac and if it is not done he will give
new ac for 15000/- rupees. Such an irresponsible guy, and also their BSM (Mr.Pradeep) .Now he is not taking my calls.
If i am not getting any proper response I will give a petition to consumer court and face it legally for getting proper compensation.
