We have bought Voltas AC from TATA Cliq on 10th March, 2018.
Serial No. of Invoice : I[protected]

We are facing issues since the month of April such as: water leakage(water and ice comes out from IDU), noise problem and not cooling properly.

We asked for replacement to TATACliq, they said Voltas Sevice Engineer will come to verify it. We have raised several tickets to Voltas regarding this and asked for replacement as this issue is a recurring issue. Every one or two months, we are facing the same issue. They came and refilled the refrigerant. As per them, in the month of May, some senior Technician would have come and check and then give us the assurance for product replacement. Its now September, but no Senior Technician visited and no replacement done.
Now, TATACliq is showing the rule of replacement and saying the they cannot help in any way and asking us to contact again to Voltas. While, Voltas is not at all responding to the open tickets, even the escalated ones.

They have just closed the tickets without any consultation from the customer whether the issue got eradicated or not.

Also, find attached pics of the leakage we are facing and the ice pieces which are thrown out of the AC IDU and are falling on us.

We contacted TATACliq also from where we bought. The customer care service for TATACliq is also not proper. They asked us to mail at [protected]@tatacliq.com along with all the details of the tickets we raised to Voltas as they would contact the manufacturer directly will solve our issue.

However, TATACliq also denied later and did not get a proper reply also to th mail. Always a default email every day i get.

If a brand like TATA would provide a service like this, its really shame for INDIANS. That Indian is facing problem because he trusted Indian brand.

    I have complained about my voltas ac.. It works nicely for 2month.. Now we are facing some cooling problem.. I also complain about cooling but the problem is not fixed yet.. From today we'll not buy any product of voltas.. Such a bad technician.. And I also registered my complaint some many time but nothing happened.. Very disappointed..tha main problem is that the technician is telling that we will charge 3000 for fixing your colling problem. In fact it is in warranty period for 1 year

        Your cooler which is priced at 10, 000 rs is worth less than a rupee. It has hardly worked for 3 days.the customer care is pathetic and they find lame excuses for not rendering service.
        The after sale service is pathetic .
        I suggest no one to buy voltas. It's waste if money. I have been having trouble with this cooler ever since I bought it and my hard earned money is down in the drains.
        I know you people will.not bother about it, but I wish people see this and stop buying voltas coolers and acs

          Recently, we purchased voltas 1 tonn ac, but to our surprise, it is not providing sufficient satisfactory cooling. Though our room size is as per the standard suitable for the 1 ton ac still the machine is not providing satisfactory cooling even during night time where the room temperature is naturally on the lower side. Our ac model is voltas spilt ac 122 czg 1 ton 2 star and it is still under warranty period. Even after constant complaints we are not getting proper attention to our complaints.

          Hence forth we request you to kindly look into the matter and send a representative to check the machine at the earliest.

            I purchased a 1.0 ton split ac in 2016 for my house. I purchased it from great eastern electronics, kolkata showroom and the ac is registered under the name of goutam das. During installation the technician made mistakes and after few months i had to suffer for that. There was a gas leak and after paying them and calling them again and again, they didn't pay any heed to the issue and ignored the same. I'm unable to use the product after paying for the same. Do you think it's justified? After calling the technicians again few days back they answered that again i've to pay for the same. I'm really pissed off and writing this mail. I really don't want to take a bad step further and get it resolved as soon as possible. Should i expect this kind of service from voltas? My number is [protected]/[protected].

              Sub: denial of extended warranty on split ac.

              Model no. Voltas 183v dzu (R-410a) (Delux)

              Sir
              I purchased the aforementioned split ac through an e-commerce platform paytm mall (Hereinafter referred to as paytm) on 16.06.2018.
              I had come to know that your company, namely voltas, was providing extended warranty on the acs. Local shops and reliance digital also confirmed about the same and assured that the extended warranty would be provided by the company directly.
              I also contacted paytm regarding the same and they also informed that the extended warranty would be provided by the company directly.
              I was aware about the reputation and goodwill of your company among the consumers, so i went ahead with the purchase.
              After purchasing the aforementioned ac, i contacted your company on it's toll-free no. For extended warranty; but i was plainly denied of any benefit of extended warranty because the purchase was made through paytm. I was informed that the facility of extended warranty was available to all other shops/platform/channel purchases except paytm purchase.
              This is clear misrepresentation by your company in connivance with paytm. Your company never informed/advertised to general public about this discriminatory policy regarding the extended warranty. Your behaviour is in complete violation of the principles of the law and natural justice.
              Your company has fallen short of my legitimate expectations and has denied to comply with its legal obligations towards a consumer.
              I request you to kindly look into the matter and provide me the extended warranty on the aforementioned ac within 15 days, otherwise i shall be left with no other alternative except to approach the courts of law for cheating, misrepresentation and deficiency in services under various provisions of law.

                I purchased a voltas a/c (Air conditioner) from a dealer in parel, which guranteed free service 2 times in a year and i have also requested them to 3 times (Even personal complaint) made to them, but still they have not came and the period of 1 year is elapsed for the service which means a betrayal made to me. Please recommend me what are the future steps to be taken, or else i think this is the treatment to us.

                    I have been using voltas acs for 15 yrs. Recently exchanged my old voltas & bought new voltas 5star window ac from vijay sales @ sg road, ahmedabad, delivery note no. (243-dev06-17sdn 126 date:[protected]

                    Company offers 2 free service within 12 months from date of purchase.

                    Firstly the service representative doesn't turnup on given date & time, secondly every time he does service the ac starts making noise and need to keep following him with repeat complaint.

                    For 2nd service again the representative came after the warranty period and this time some abnormal noise started coming post his service. He didn't come after repeated follow-ups and now asking for a paid visit to attend the same.

                    The question is not of paying money
                    The question is whether service is for up-keeping of the product or damaging it?

                    And if anything went wrong while servicing then why not getting that fixed & why been asked the customer to pay without even attending it.

                    In anticipation of a response and prompt resolution to the complaint or changing the piece

                      I bought voltas 1.5t ac on 3/4/2017 (Unit sr. No. 401113ic17ac13754).in such a short span my ac start making sound in august 2018. I lodge the complaint in voltas company. After that my ac was attended and technically checked by voltas engineer. After 20 days (In september 2018) ac is not cooling. Again voltas engineer visited and told that ac gas is leaked. I am normal salary class person. I cannot afford to spend money again and again.

                      I request kindly change my ac with new one.

                        Dear sir/mam,

                        I am going to write you this time with lot of anger and feels like i have been cheated by such a huge brand like voltas which in fact has tata's seal on it. It is really very pathetic and heartbreaking to say that everytime the issue raised by me dealt with total negligence and no one pays any heed to resolve the issue. Now please look the trailing email sent by you wherein you have escalated the matter to ghaziabad branch service head and have also provided the number of asm. I would like to draw your kind attention that when i have contacted him he informed me that now this time my matter will be dealt with care and no such problem will arise in future. However, last night when i switched on the a/c it was working fine and i assumed that not problem will occur from now onwards. But i was wrong, when i wake up my whole room was waterlogged and there was severe water leakage even when the a/c was switched off in the midnight, which in turn also damageed my speakers which were lying on the floor.
                        Now please tell me who is responsible for this. Please let me be very clear that now i will not agree in less than the replacement of the unit and i simply fed up the services provided by the voltas and it also strengthen by view that the services and management are being provided by the incompetent personnel which in any case will not agree upon the failure of their own. Actually no one is concerned about the pain being beard by the customer which is still in continuation right from the date of purchase.

                          In the month of may our voltas a. C was not working properly. So i called up the customer care and they sent two people from the service centre in jammu. They told us that there's some problem with motherboard and they then took the motherboard with them. After 2 days came back and fixed it. Then a. C started working normally. But i called them many times for bill reciept but they didn't give any.. And took 3000 rupees in cash from us without providing us with any bill.
                          Since its been so long and we haven't recieved any bill till date

                            Hello team,

                            Not happy with the service its really annoying.

                            I bought two split acs from registered dealer rk house k-1/9 raja puri main road on 17th march 2018 and since then i am facing lot of challenges with both the acs.

                            Water droplets issue on both acs
                            Ice dropping from the acs

                            Not satisfied at all, i want proper action should be taken and change both the acs.

                              I was purchased ac on 27/05/18. But my ac is not cooling. I had raised a request for same today technician came to my room and he said

                              1. Within second days of purchased reply it's working fine
                              2.ac gas problem that's why it's not cooling
                              3. Parts problems that's why it's not cooling

                              Within 3 months of purchased continuously i'm facing the problems same

                                2 persons from voltas customer care had visited my place for re-installation of ac. I had a very bad experience with these persons... They took almost 8 hours for re-installation... They made my place very messy... Neither they cleaned up the place and were arguing with me... Their behavior was very rude... No manners at all... They didn't have any seriousness about work being done... They were taking all the things very casually and kept on laughing throughout the day... Broke my furniture... Made my home really horrible for just fitting of 1 ac... After re-installation when they left home within 30 minutes water leakage started from the ac... My whole day was wasted behind these stupid people and it was in vain as they did not complete the work properly... I don't know why do such people are appointed for such jobs who really don't care for their customers and bring a bad reputation to company's name...

                                I have bought voltas ac about a month ago but it's cooling condition is very bad please send a tecnician to clear my issue because my ac is in warranty condition...

                                  I have bought 1.5 Ton Window A/C last year in April 2017 and I am now facing AC failure in such a short span. On lodging complaint to the Voltas customer care there was a technican visit who informed me that the cooling conditioner coil has a massive leakage due to which all the gas leaked and I will have to pay 5500+1500+ 350 = 7350+ GST for repair and that too they will give 3 months warranty .

                                  My question is why I shall pay such a huge amount to get repair my 1year and 4 months old AC. Even though I pay and there is no guarantee it work till next year.

                                  I will rather suggest or urge the people to avoid Voltas AC as they are now making substandard quality products. Totally fraud company.

                                    I purchased March month just 20 days working after not cooling then complaint raised ..Ur service people come after 20 days put new gas again after 2 months using again not cooling please change the ac I think this manufacturing defect in 6 months 3 times this type of proublem your service agency says check ones clear check ones clear but no change again and again proublem...plz replacement my ac.other wise give consumer court as soon as...mno_[protected]...

                                        A complaint was made a month ago regarding a couple of ac's whose compressors were under warranty and meant to be replaced. No response was given for the first 15 days. A number[protected] was given. They claimed that this number could only be dialled through a mobile phone with talktime recharge and isn't accessible through unlimited warranty recharges. On calling from every number the number proved invalid. On further persuasion and lodging complaints through internet, they gave us a service request number sr#[protected] and sent a repairman who conducted visit and confirmed the problem. Still no service or information has been received.
                                        Kindly ensure that producers as big as voltas are required to furnish hasslefree platforms for receiving requests and updating status through both online and telephonic mediums. They provide numbers which are not accessible and there is no facility to lodge complaint online. Someone unfamiliar with the technology domain may remain stranded for weeks and may not even receive the right to complain and request for service at all.
                                        Please take this matter seriously and kindly apply some stringent rules to protect consumer rights.
