I recently ordered a AC from voltas and I have been facing issues for the past 2 weeks. The customer care executive has not even visited once to fix the issue but I received a message saying it's fixed... Such level of cheating is unacceptable. My entire bed room is filled with water due to water leakage and water is dripping in electrical outlets... I have 2 kids at home and am constantly scared of fire or some accident due to this issue.. Forget using the air conditioner in such heat, there is constant fear of life. I am Filing this consumer complaint against voltas because of defective product and defective service. This is unbelievably disappointing service. My mattress is completely ruined. I would like to lodge a complaint to claim compensation so that I can buy a new AC from a reliable company which provides better service.
I bought this AC from an Indian company so that the revenue the company makes will stay within India and will not be repatriated outside India but I was wrong in ordering from an Indian company. Please accept my complaint and take appropriate action against voltas and help me get refund of the entire amount I spent on this useless AC and compensation for the damage caused to my mattress and mental torture.

    We had purchase two windor ac voltas 2 ton 2 star sl. No 4011239b18gc01327 from supplier nationa electronics, lucknow vide invoice no 199 dated 24.08.2018. Sl. No. 4011239b18gc01327 m. No. Voltas242dzc

    Last month we had lodged complaint for gas leakage which was attended by your authorised franchisee voltas ltd, fast air conditioning, 621 murad ali lane, cant road, lucknow up. Complain attend vide service report no 3575 dated 27.09.2018 and 3578 dated 28.09.2018.

    Now again cooling is down and your service engineer has reached to our office and told us that agains gas is leaked.

    This is the second time when gas leakage with two month after purchased of new window ac during aug'18.

    We request u to kindly arrange to replace the deffective product supplied to us.

    We as a customer filed complaint for our AC Service.Though we are having an AMC but we are not satisfied with the late service provided by your company.

      Sir,
      I got new job. From my first salary i purchase ac from vicky gift centre for my mother comfort in summer on vide bill no 873 dated 31.05.2018.
      But we got defective piece from the company. Rwmote of ac does not linked up properly. We complaint 2-3 times. All my emi's regular. Its a requesr to you kindly look into the matter. We hope fr best service from your company.

        Sir/ ma'am,

        I bought an inverter air conditioner from authorized seller of various electronics appliances, indralok vaniradio kendra (Pp road, near hdfc, buxar-802101). I had purchased one voltas split ac, model - voltas eu 183v mzj3 (R-410) on 15/06/2018 worth rs. 34, 700/- abide with bill no. 2307.

        While purchasing the said air conditioner, i was with a fond hope that the product will be of premium quality and i would be provided wonderful service. Just within one month of purchase, my ac stopped cooling and the fan made terrible noise that it became almost
        Impossible to switch on the ac. I made a complaint on the customer care no. Of voltas and i was given service. A kit was replaced in the ac almost after 20 days of registering complaint and after that, it was working well. The same happened again after sometime and again the kit was replaced.

        Keeping in mind the weather conditions, not much use of the ac was made. And, when i switched it on in the first week of october, again the same occurred and there was no cooling effect. I again registered a complaint on 2/10/2018 and nothing has been resolved as of now. I received a call and they are delaying the process due to puja holidays, and said that the technician has to be called from patna for the repair of ac. But the bitter truth is that till now i have not received any proper service.

        That, it is my legitimate right to avail good quality service as the product is in warranty period. You people are only trying to waste my time in the assurance of repair and subjecting me to mental agony and harassment.

        I request you to please look into the matter seriously and resolve it as soon as possible else i will have to opt for legal resort. All i feel is that i was supplied with a defective product and it would be the best if it is replaced.

        Hi, I purchased Voltas Cooler through TATA Croma. After some time I think is not working, I lodged a complaint in Croma and they sent a representative in 1 Oct.

        The guy checked and told me that he will come on 3 Oct

          I purchased this voltas ac split from flipkart on april 16 and installation was done on 19th of april. After the installation from jeeves there was water leakage and they did something to the pipe and fixed it. And the problem dint end there. The water started leaking from the indoor unit once in a while and used to call flipkat, jeeves and voltas to fix my issues. Yesterday (23 october 2018) mayur from voltas came to my address checked the device and said its because of the pipe, as soon as he fixed the pipe and left there was no water leak. After an hour or so. It started again. And i called him back he came checked again and said the tray has to be changed. And he said it will be done in a day or two. And i called them today to check the status. And i was informed it will take 5 to 6 days and the technician or anyone from voltas was able to give me a solution for this.

          This has been a hectic issue as its been there from last 7 months and they havent fixed any thing yet. First flipkart sent me a faulty product. And the people came for installation was dumb and stupid who dint know how to do their work and now from voltas.

          Please tell me what am i supposed to do??

          Im in a situation where this has gone too far, and i am ready to take it to consumer court as no one is ready to take responsibility and fix my issue. And the product is still under warrenty.

              I lodge a complain on dated 13 oct and same attend by engineer same day having request no. [protected] on name kanupriya periwal. Engineer told us he have to change one unit and replace the same till 16 oct. But till date no solution we receive. We call to engineer who attend our call not respond proper and then we talk to jodhpur showroom spark digi world on dated 18oct to ms. Seema on number [protected] they respond us to solve it but after two days we not received any solution and now they not respond our call. It's our first voltas product and seriously our experience is too much bad.

                The split ac voltas 1.5 ton, purchased online by me had been giving trouble (Not cooling) since beginning. It was repaired and gas filled. But the problem remains. The response from the service centre and voltas consumer complaint had been evasive, misleading and poor. Inspite of my calling daily to voltas consumer care number they have sending false message that i am not reachable. Height of deceit. Today the complaint was cancelled. Never knew so reputed company will behave like this. The staff did not connect me to senior supervisor too. She (Jarina) was told that the supervisor may be requested to call me, which i am sure will not done. Before i take up the matter further i need to know who cancelled the complaint and action be taken against him.

                    This voltas ac, i bought on april 2017. Within 15 days the indoor unit started leaking and raised a compliant.4-5 technician visited and after 2 months i got another indoor unit replacement. That too started leaking with in 20 days. Again i raised a compliant with voltas. From then around 10 technicians visited around 15-20 times. They could not find the issue. October 2017 first week they came and took the inddor unit for analysis as there are some technicians coming from mumbai. Till not no update on that and i have initially asked them refund as this pains us a lot.

                    Incident started april end 2017 - continuous till now.

                      I ve raised a complaint regarding my voltas 1.5 ton ac, as it was displaying e2 error from the past couple of months.

                      The technicians have come, cleaned the filters and without checking anything else.. Immediately went upstairs to check for gas leakage.

                      E2 error is not associated with gas leakage this i know for sure. We sent them away and asked for a better technician.

                      Next day a senior technician came and he also insisted that the problem is with gas leakage and once its resolved the e2 error would go away.

                      They have done some pressure test left the ac on test for a couple of days.. And came back again to fill in gas.

                      After this process is done when they came down and checked, e2 error still remained.

                      Then this senior technician opened up the unit.. Removed the display unit and connected it to the coil sensor and resolved the issue.

                      I believe this should have been done in the beginning instead of having to go near the gas leakage accusation.

                      When questioned the guy says e2 comes up because of both gas leakage as well as other issues.

                      We had to pay 2500 for this.

                      My query here is that what is the proof that error caused is due to some problem. How do we trust you technicians with the diagnosis they do? How can we be sure that whatever repair is done is genuine and apt?

                        I had my authorised service center of voltas in samba area named as shri krishna refrigeration. Payment from voltas to my firm was 170000 was pending from 2016. Companies employees in jammu or company is not giving me that payment as i tried to contact them 100 times, but they are not bothering about this issue. This is my kind request to please solve this issue as soon as possible as i am in need of my money which they are not giving to me.

                          I dr badal, reciding at gautam nagar, new delhi have baught a
                          Voltas window ac 2 ton in april 2017 for rs 28000. I have done
                          Regular servicing as per protocol but recently i have met with few
                          Problems. The ac is not cooling at all since last 10 days. I called
                          The service centre and your representatives, after examining, told
                          That there is a gas leakage which, he said, is a very often problem
                          Residing near a runnel (Being a well-known company voltas must be
                          Manufacturing acs considering indian wheather and residential
                          Conditions). Also he said the copper coil is also leaking and
                          Damaged. He did the servicing and corrected the problem and took rs.
                          2000, but within 3 days problem started again. So within one season
                          Your ac has shown multiple problems even with regular servicing. And
                          Now i have to spend another rs. 8000 for getting rid of this problem.
                          So, the total cost of ac is now 380000. I would have bought a better
                          Ac rather than this. Now the issue is how can i solve this problem?

                            I have purchased it on may 2017. It was working ok but after the wet cleaning they provide, many problems are there, because of their untrained staff. First of all they mishandled the ac and because of their fault gas leaked after few days but because they provided the wet service at the last of my guarantee period, i had to pay the gas filling charges, this happened in this june and now my ac is showing df. Don't know what to do

                              Hi,

                              I had booked my appointment for my voltas split ac in the month of august'18 in voltas customer care. They have assigned he 3rd party which is "om sai service centre. Technician came to visit my home and they saw the there is a problem with pcb. They told me that they will repair the pcb which will cost 2200rs & 400rs (Total 2600rs) for service charge which i agreed. After few days they install the pcb which work only for 1 day and again it got problem. Again these guys visited and said that they will install new pcb because it's not working which will cost 4500rs which i agreed on the same. After few days they came with different pcb which they were not able to install and was pushing in ac which they were not able to fix it and damaged some of the parts. I told them it's you guys are not able to push it then are you damaging the products (They replied, please don't say anything to me. Do you want to install or not. They were threatening to me and using abusive language). I didn't say anything because i am staying with my family and i don't know what action they will take if i will not be available.

                              Now, the problem is whenever i called om sai service center they say that it will take 2 days, 1 week or we have send the parts to warehouse to check, once they confirm will inform you the same & it took almost more than 2 weeks which they are not able to fix it for more than 2 months.

                              Day before yesterday, i called them to check the update what's happening. Their reply was don't call us again & again. Do whatever you want to do & said come and take your parts. I have already paid 2200rs for nothing.

                              I called customer care department, they said that your complaint is closed which i am not aware & i didn't get any call. What a customer service it is. They don't bother to call & check whether the things has been sorted or not.

                              Now, i am afraid to call again because the way they used the abusive language & harassed me i don't know what to do. I am not going to install this ac. I want new ac from voltas anyhow. If something happens to my family then voltas & om sai service center will be responsible for it.

                              I am attaching the current picture for voltas split ac. They have taken all the parts which has not given me any receipt. I only have receipt for 2200rs which they repaired earlier. Kindly take an action immediately before any action will taken place.

                                  I have purchased 1.5 ton split voltas ac and after sent a ac service request they are not completing it from last 15 days i am calling on daily basis on customer care number and they told me that please call to this service center number (Anil thakkar [protected]) after discuss on this number mr. Anil thakkar used to very rough and unprofessional language to me and he told me that you don't call and please talk on customer care number. This activity is running from last 15 days and they have not sense how to talk to customers i this they are a unskilled employees are working in volas service center specially to mr. Anil thakkar [protected].

                                    I mr bhagirathi pani had purchased a split a. C. On 29.04.2017 from m /s biswal sales, jajpur town. At that time i have choosen extended warranty for five years. But it is a matter of great regret that no one has come to me for free service of my device since last ten months and the company has not sent any massage to me in this regard.                                         I have purchased 1.5 ton voltas ac from amazon last year.
                                        In august & september 2018, i called customer care for service & one concern regarding display of ac, which is showing e2.
                                        I have called voltas customer care after service about display error, i did not get any response. It was under warranty that time. Yesterday i have called again. Now they have raised the ticket i. E. Complain number i. E. [protected] however, excusing over warranty period completion.

                                        I ordered ac on 21 september 2017, it was delivered by 28th september & installed on 4th october.

                                        My concern was not resolved in warranty period, now after one week of warranty period, customer care provide the complain number. I will be charged for the same. This is very unfortunate. I did not expect this from tata. As i am also working in tata. We are adhere to ethic and dignity.

                                        Please help me out.
