After normal servicing my ac is not running properly, when i tried to contact to service engineer who serviced my ac is also not accepting that after servicing ac is getting problem i complaint so many times but no proper response i am getting from customer care they demand visiting charges on every visiting. I am frustrated after these type response from voltas customer care a well know brand in the market.

Please suggest what should i do.

    I bought the AC from Thrissur, Kerala on 14th April 2018. The details are given below

    Since then I have been issuing experiences of not getting cooled properly. I had informed the representatives who came to our house to check the installation and they didnt do anything about it. I had registered a complaint on 1st June since the AC stopped working due to some loose connection. The technicians who came resolved the issue.

    But the issue of not getting the room cooled persisted and I brought it to their attention. They just ignored it telling that this is the maximum cooling I can get! This is the 3rd AC we are installing at our home and this is the first time we are buying a Voltas AC. Both our other ACs are over 13 years old and those are working really good. Now since the weather is hot, we are unable to use the room where this new AC is installed even when both the AC and fan are working continuously for hours.

    I need an immediate solution for this and the failure of which will attract legal actions against the company.

      Sir,

      I, Rajneesh Madhok, Advocate, Office at Railway Road, Phagwara made installation of above mentioned machine at my office but the Service team has defrauded me and has not provided receipt of Rs 3, 700/- charged from me and the defective installation made at my office. Most regretfully, it is being informed that Voltas AC 123 CZA Classic installed at my office has defective installation. Despite getting Rs 3, 700/- from the customer for installation the machine has been installed at lower level and outlet pipe has been installed at upper level but the staff who come to install AC is in-cooperative.

      It is better to engage a private mechanic than to get misbehaved with in-cooperative staff. It is 100% sure that on not getting outlet of drain water the water will back to machine and certainly the defect occur.

      I am really shocked to get such a humiliating behaviour from your Service team who is concerned with money only and least bothered about the complaint of the customer.

      A LEGAL NOTICE IS BEING SERVED UPON YOU AS THE INSTALLATION IS DEFECTIVE AND YOUR SERVICE TEAM IS NOT COOPERATING, VERY SOON THE AC WILL START MALFUNCTIONING DUE TO INEFFICIENT STAFF’S INSTALLATION. VERY SOON THE AC LEAKAGE PROBLEM WILL OCCUR.

      WATER WILL NATURALLY DRIP OUT THROUGH THE MAIN UNIT AND IT WILL NOT WORK.

      MY REPEATED REQUESTS THAT AC AND THE DRAINAGE PIPE IS NOT PROPORTIONAL, SO IT WILL DISRUPT THE WATER-FLOW OUT OF THE DRAINAGE PAN DIRECTLY TO OUTLET DUE TO IMPROPER INSTALLATION, BUT YOUR SERVICE TEAM IS NOT LISTENING TO THE PLEADINGS OF THE CUSTOMER.

      IT IS CLEARLY VISIBLE THAT THE OUTLET PIPE IS NOT AT LOWER HEIGHT COMPARED TO MAIN UNIT BUT AT THE UPPER HEIGHT. SO, LET ME KNOW HOW THE DRAINAGE WILL BE MADE. DUE TO BLOCKAGE OF WATER IN THE DRAINAGE PIPE ON NOT GETTING IT OUT THE DIRT AND DEBRIS WILL CREATE ADN WILL BLOCK THE DRAINAGE SYSTEM COMPLETELY.

      I AM 100% SURE THAT THE WATER CAN’T FLOWW OUTWARDS THEN OVERFLOW OF WATER WILL GO TO MAIN AIR CONDITIONING UNIT, AND WILL LEAD TO AC LEAKING WATER. I REGRET THAT YOUR SERVICE TEAM IS NON-COOPERATIVE.

      With the serving of this Legal Notice, you are requested to fix the drawbacks of installation and get AC properly installed according to the specification. All the Service Centre employees provide Service free of cost, if there are charges for any Service then the Company charge from the customer not the Service provider. In your case the Technical Service provider charges on the pretext of Free Service and misbehave with the customers.

      You are requested to provide reply to the above mentioned facts and details of Service manual in which it has been written that the outlet pipe will be installed at the higher level from the machine.

      It was heard that the private persons can dodge the customers but the Reputed Company having the Chairaman from Jamshedji Tata will befool the customers it is really strange.

Keep on watching how Voltas dodge customers after looting on the pretext of free installation from inefficient team.
      2. On Thursday, 7 June 2018 SMS at 10:46:- Dear Customer, Request No [protected] appintment scheduled for[protected]. For assistance call our Helpline [protected] (24x7)----At this stage company was providing service of installation
      3. On Thursday, 7 June at 15:21 SMS: Dear Customer, Request No. [protected] assigned to CHARANJITKUMAR, PHONE [protected]. For assistance call our Helpline [protected](24x7)
      4, very strange --- The charges of Rs 3, 700/- collected by Voltas and not provided receipt of installation. The tecnical persons were misbehaving and the matter reported to customer care, Left the job and again came back with intervention of customer care, And now Voltas came out with a new formula that is:- SMS received on on 07 june 2018 at 15:22 Dear Customer SR '[protected] JOB HAS BEEN DONE BY NON vOLTAS OR 3RD PARTY Call on [protected] for any query or call our helpline [protected], again same message received at 15:22
      Sir, it is a violation under Section 409, 406 and 405-- Vicarious liability--- Complaint under Section 406, 408 Indian penal Code against Chairman of the Company will be lodged because the company is straightaway dodging the customers by playing gimmicks with customers. The company is dishonestly making frauds with the public by charging exorbitant charges. The role of accused company is self expalanatory that how they people are playing gimmicks.Dishonesty of Votas is proved, but the matter of grievances is that the company of this repute is playing gimmicks with the customers to extort money. This is Under 405 of IPC regarding Criminal breach of trust. On the first part Voltas is sending the Engineer and now Voltas is befooling the customer that the installation has not been made by Votas but by a third party. This is criminal breach of trust, Rest assured Votas Team let the matter be unfolded further. The prima facie evidenes are on record, the offence under SEction 409 read with Section 405 with the aid of Sectin 34 of Indian Penal Code kindly be read properly.

      It's extremely painful that you don't have coordination in between your team. Today On Saturday, 9 June 2018, I received this message by SMS "Dear Customer Your SR No. [protected] proposed for cancellation, Reason: Job Done By Third Party. Call on[protected] to stop cancellation at[protected] at 14.16.
      I think either you are befooling the customer or you think that you are concerned to extort money from the public by hook and crook.The Service Engineer provided by you. You made me aware that this is your work order and it will be completed. After your message the phone call I received from the Service provider. The dealer Rikhy Enterprises Chadha Market Phagwara-144401 registered installation request from my Mobile Phone[protected] and provided Pin code 144632 (Chachoki adjoining to Phagwara) instead of Phagwara's Pincode of 144401. In my presence made call to that Chachoki based Service engineer that you will get Order for installation at Rajneesh Madhok Advocate, Railway Road, Phagwara's address tomorrow and take care. What is this code word, I could not understand. On the next date the process of installation started from the message received from TD-VOLTAS AND ON OBJECTING TO INSTALL AC, I CONTACTED TO THE DEALER AND HE CALLED TO THE SERVICE ENGINEER. AND ALSO TO THE CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE AND THE LADY WHO ATTENDED THE CALL PROVIDED THE DETAILS THAT YOUR CONTACT NUMBERS ARE THESE TWO. AND THE SERVICE PROVIDER IS THIS ONE. AND HE WILL COME TO YOU SHORTLY. NOW THE COMPANY IS BEFOOLING THE CUSTOMER ON WRONG INSTALLATION AND EXTORTION OF RS 3, 700 FOR INSTALLATION. GREAT COMPANY GREAT SYSTEM OF LOOT IN CONNIVANCE WITH DEALER AND SERVICE PROVIDER. Sir, when a customer bring a complaint about your deteriorated working conditions and criticizing the company then it is nerve-wracking exercise. You are not behaving like a problem solver. Today I got a call from O General Service from Ludhiana [protected] and enquired about the matter and assured me to call back to me but has never responded. The nexus between Volats- Dealer-Service Provider (technician) can not be denied as all the three joints have joined hands to loot customer by hook or crook. Company should appreciate the feedback from the customer but it is strange that company don't reply to the E-mails sent to them. If you will continue this malpractices then the day is not far that the people will spit on the name of Ratan Tata and Jamshedji Tata whose company is involved in befooling the customers. The name and reputation which Mr. Ratan Tata has earned in the country will be tarnished with such unscrupulous exercises of the concerns belong to TATA. All the matter is in the knowledge of Voltas but Voltas is in a hurry to close the matter. I solemnly affirm and declare on oath that the matter is in the knowledge of Voltas and to save themselves to ruin their reputation it is better to say that third party installation has been made. You don't have solid reasoning that why the problem should not be addressed and the matter should be stopped by a single line that it was third party installation whereas the Service technician had been provided by Voltas. Now let me know which cable in India costs Rs 250/- per feet that has been installed at my place. Why not the receipt has been provided by Voltas till date. The company wants that the customer should shut his eyes like a cat on feeling danger that nothing bad will happen. God is great, keep in mind. Don't make day light robberies with customers. You are getting business from customers and by looting them it will one day provide you echoes in the slumbers of misdeeds you have made with customers.

      Today again msg received : Sunday, 10 June 2018, at 12:14 Dear Customer Your SR No. [protected] proposed for cancellation, Reason: Job Done By Third Party. Call on[protected] to stop cancellation. Sir, the question of third party installation does not arise as the Service Engineer had been sent by Voltas. All details are on record of Voltas that who has come to install the Ac and it was in respond to the request made to Voltas. My order was confirmed and Voltas made me aware about the installation to be done today. When Voltas dodged the customer and extorted Rs 3, 700/-without providing receipt came out with a new formula that the installation had been made by third party. Dear Voltas team kindly stop dodging customers and make day light robberies to befool customers.

        Would like to inform you that nobody turned up till now and the twist here is that today when I called up Mr Shreenivasa Sreeni in the morning, he said it is his colleague who had spoken to me and not he as his mobile was with his colleague due to he being in meeting……

        Again after hearing my lengthy story, he said will get it addressed today…..Till now none of your team members contacted and your BSM also not picking calls…..

        Will there be any end to this ?

        Hi,

        With ref to the subject cited, I would like to putforth hardships I’ going through due to this product and its service……..

        I’ve brought 2 nos Voltas 1.5 Ton 3 Star Inverter AC dt 12th June’18 from Croma – AS Rao Nagar, Secunderabad ( Invoice attchd ) which we noticed to be having performance issues almost since beginning….
        When complained to the Technician during his free service visit, he could not resolve the issue….Later when we raised issue with Voltas on Tollfree no, the visited technician said both of them were not properly installed due to which there is gas leakage resulting in less cooling…..
        He attempted some repairs and refilled gas after which we noticed improvement in one unit and same issue in the 2nd unit……

        Upon raising another service request, another technician visited and said he external condenser unit has problem and needs replacement for which he’ll raise request. After hectic persuation with your service centres and toll free nos, they said External unit not available and they’ll attempt repairs / grazing of the external unit which they attempted and still the issue remained same.

        We raised one more request on your tollfree for which they sent one more technician who visited us and said will get the external unit which he brought after hectic persuation and replaced. Even after this, cooling issue remained same.

        We re-opened the ticket on 21st May’18 after which one technician visited and said gas leakage problem and will get the gas and refill the next day…..

        We are still awaiting the said “Next Day” as the technician not turned up till date even after continuous persuation with your local service centre aswell Tollfree…..

        I’m seriously worried for having invested on Voltas which I felt carries Good Brand Image and reputation being TATA’s organization which somehow found to be totally wrong…Croma, during purchase of this product said this has 5 years comprehensive wty and later when I called the tollfree to register the same, they denied this claim stating that 5 year wty is only applicable subject to registering this on the day of purchase which none of the executives at Croma informed me…….

        Pl share with me your escalation matrix as I wanted to share my grievance with your Management to make them understand the hardships a Voltas Consumer had to undergo having brought your product…..I’m infact exploring the option to complaint this in consumer forum if this is not addressed to my satisfaction immdtly………

          I made a service request for windows ac cooling issue on 26th of may 2018by calling voltas customer care.
          Visit was done by local vendor on 27th may 2018.
          After normal check up, machine was brought up by the service centre on same day with assurance to repair in one week. Thoug i have requested little early as it is very hot summer. I was insisted to pay the service charge even if the issue not resolved. I have paid rs.400/- towards service charge and 200/- for transportation.
          As of 05.06.2018, we have no trace of machine and no update whether it will be done or not?. The service centre no is not approachable as most of time it is out of range/switched off/busy.
          Service centre name - route fourteen cooling point, patna city, mob no - [protected]
          I seeks update on this. This kind of service is not expected. How any one can rely up on the service providers.in the job reciept, there is no address mentioned for the service centre where we can directly approcah.

          Sir we buy an a/c around 15 days back from vijay sales and there is a person from company who fitted the a/c . But when I am removing tapes from a/c i saw there is a breakage in grill of a/c .

            I haved purchaged on dated 15/05/18 in flipkart mega sell with 24500/- on discount basis. I have purchaged copper condenser ac but deliver me a aluminum condenser. I have called so many times with flipkart but no response from them side even no refund provided to even i have raise refund request.
            Also in invoce no any model no & condenser detail mentioned.
            Not only me so many customer raised complain with flipkart. But no response from by them ultimately they said it is problem of voltas company.
            If you required i am able te execute all proof regarding this matter.

                  I never faced any problem with my Voltas Split AC. In last week of February 2018, I got my AC shifted to my new residence B-268, NFL Colony, Bathinda through Voltas authorised service centre at Amrik Singh Road, Bathinda, Mr. Gors mob [protected] and paid 2100 for shifting and service of AC. Prior to shifting my Split AC was working fine. After shifting, my AC stopped cooling. After lot of complaints, technician visited and told me that gas had leaked and demanded 2000 rupees which I paid because hot weather was intolerable at Bathinda. Gas was charged and leakage plugged. Again AC was not giving any cooling effect. I repeatedly followed up with the service center and every time I was assured to attend the AC but of no use. I continued my efforts days together as hot weather was intolerable at Bathinda for me and my wife who are senior citizen. No technician visited. on 04.06.2018 evening service center stopped attending to my calls. I also approached customer care center also who gave me SMS that my AC Will be attended on 05.06.18. Till 2.38 pm neither any technician visited nor received any call.

                    Very bad experience with this voltas company from the date of installation i am back of your team /service engg and branch manager (so busy that he is not attending calls of costumer even though SMS ) that my AC required not giving that efficient output in cooling and some other issue also been highlighted for the same .

                    such a kidding thing for the same i had wrote plenty of mails on my service and for Warranty card and Terms and conditions of the term no body is bothered to provide me the details . such a irresponsible team .

                      The installation engineer put scratches on indoor unit, and after installation water draining in bedroom. Have been complaining but no -one revisited to rectify the problem, only false promises that someone is visiting in 5-10 min.

                          Hi, i am gautam kumar giri and i purchased a voltas split ac 1.5 tn 183 lym from capital electronics, bhubaneswar on 18/05/2017.
                          I was not given any free service in-spite of 2 free services guaranteed. I received no call or sms for the free service. Anyways i have been trying to get in touch with the dealer for the same and there is no response. I contacted the customer care on 28th may 2018 on which i was told my mobile number was not registered. I was also told that they are not registering the complaint and a senior will call me in 4 hrs but no call came but i received a sms of request number no. [protected]. But after waiting for nearly 7 days there was no call neither any response. When i called back the customer care on 4th june i was told that the request number was for a product enquiry and no complaint has been registered and when again i told my grievance i was told that i have to pay the service and free services cant be provided any more and again provided a request no. [protected]. If this is the service level of india's most premium ac company then i understand why indian companies are lagging behind. Any chinese company with much a lower price would have given me the same service. What the i dont understand, was that my responsibility to get the number registered or all this is way to avoid providing the free services. All these circumstances has prompted me to write a complaint for i deserve my free services.
                          Customers prefer voltas for service if that is denied then we loose the faith in it. Hopefully my problem will be resolved.

The phone was connected on the online on monday (28-May-2018)but he told me that due to technical problem I could not register the complain so please call later, so next day on Tuesday I called local Voltas authorized service center(Tuba electronic) in Kanpur and give our all details but no body come then I called again and ask for our complain again same reply that very soon send person for your problem. continuously this process is going on from Tuesday(29-May to Friday 1Jun) and on friday they said that we could not send you have to register your complain online then I said why you people making fool from the last 4 days and now you are saying that I need to register complain online. After that I registered my complain on line on last friday (1-June-2018) and till now my problem is still not resolved. its proving that how poor services are providing by the Votals.
                            it would be great help if you can do some thing for me other wise I have no way except file the case against you people as we are suffering with out AC from the last 10 days.

                              very poor service of voltas customer care and service staff

                              I m purchase voltas ac with in two months he was not cooling properly i m inform to customer care and very poor service of voltas customer care and voltas service centre of r s pura jammu area and bad behaviour of managers and technicians staff. Very bad experience of voltas product i have not buy any voltas product and recommends to all please do not purchase voltas product....

                              I have registered a complaint of my air cooler fan is not working, with request no [protected] on 27/05/18, but till date there is no response against my complaint when we talk to company executive on toll free no they told that technician is not available. Already mark to mail voltas ids but not respond. Second time with voltas service v v bad servise by voltas. My personal experience with voltas never buy voltas products in life...

                              I bought the ac on 25 may. Dealer is not giving the installation service.We didn’t open the boxes yet. Bill paid also include the installation fee. But now even after 3 days dealer is not giving the installation service.please look into this matter.

                              The service of the service man is not good, he do a temporarily repair of split ac, there is useless service and take complete payment, ac doesn't work more than 1 month, if my complaint not taken seriously, I will file a complaint against it, and recomend others to never buy a voltas product

                                Most awful experience i have ever had. I have registered complaint no. [protected]. It's open since 23rd may till now.
                                This tower cooler is defective in design and i have not been able to get neither motor fixed nor different model replaced.
                                I want my full refund or a different model replacement.
                                Company should own their fault in design as they are aware of issue.

                                Most pathetic customer care and service centre experience as nobody knows escalation matrix and contact persons name and neither aware about timelines and tracking the motor or supply chain.

                                I am registering this here post futile efforts spent with cust care and service centre already. Speaks a lot about the character and ethics followed in voltas.
                                Really want to see a response to this.

                                  Had made a request for ac servicing on 26.05.2018 (Request no [protected]). The appointment was scheduled on 28.05.2018. However the technician turned up only on 29.05.2018. After giving a glance, he commented that it is possible to clean effectively only with a blower which he did not have at that moment. So the next day another technician would come and attend. I called them several times but they delayed.in the mean time i got messages that my appointment was rescheduled. Again today i called (02.06.2018) and they have created a new request number ([protected]) and a message says that the appointment is scheduled on 03.06.2018. The technicians are very rude. And the servicing of a reputed company like voltas is even poorer. There is no customer feedback and followup of complaints and requests. How does the company value their customers?

                                      We have complaint about our split ac issue on 13 may 18. Technician visit after 2 days of registring complain. He told that pcb in ac is short circuited due to which ac is not working and took pcb for repairing. Next day he came back with pcb but still it did not worked. And said that other part os short circuit now and need to fix. After that day he did not revert back. We have called many times to customer care and everytime they said we have raised it on high priority and it will resolve it soon but after 20 days and numerous calls no one is fixing the issue.
