I bought a Voltas AC on 24th April 2018. It got delivered on 27th April 2018. I requested an installation and demo.
Then when on 27th I got the product I requested installation. Their system botched up and they send my request to Chandigarh service centre, instead of Panchkula and I had to wait until 2nd May (9 pm) to get product installed. Then the technician botched up the installation and I got an error instead of cooling.
They had put in the wires incorrectly. I again had to complain and then on 3rd May night the technician visited and corrected the installation, they had botched up.
Now the AC was working but no one came for Demo. We waited for sometime and waited. I then called for demo which happened on 14th May. Note that they installed the product but did not do any demo or arrange one by themselves. I expected that. Anyways, on 22nd May the AC stopped cooling. I thought it might be something wrong on the remote settings. I checked and when still wasn't cooling, and started leaking ice and water, I raised a complain on 23rd May morning. I was told technician will visit on 24th. The technician visited said all was okay. We said it starts cooling and then stops. We had been told by a LG technician, who was at our home for a fridge installation which I had recently bought that the AC was leaking gas as far as he could see from what was happening. So we told the Voltas technician the same. He didn't do anything. Asked us to keep the non-cooling AC running for 4 hours and told us he will return within 4 hrs to check. Now it is almost 7 hours and they still did not show up. The entire pipe/ cable going from AC to compressor is covered in ice. I have pictures. And when I call Voltas I can't even speak with a manager, as they are too busy according to their reps.
I have struggled for almost 1 month with bad post sales support. When I compare my experience with Voltas with that I have had with LG I feel sad that I did not choose LG for an AC too. Voltas support sucks. Having a good product is no use unless you support your customers.
I want extended warranty on this shi*** product for all the issues I have had. This is the season when I need the AC. It will be useless in winters. I have already had so many issues with this product I feel like just flushing it. That's where sh** belongs. I am not sure how many more issues I should expect in the coming days.

Updated by NehaBindlish The guy who showed up for service call on 24th May 2018 around 1 pm under request number [protected] was also rude and accusing. My parents were told to show where's the ice (in a very rude and disrespectful manner). At that time the AC had been off for over 1 day. So there was nothing as was to be expected. They told him he can wait and check for himself. The guy told them he will be back by 5 pm. He came at 8.50 pm.
