Dear sir,

With reference to above mentioned subject & invoice number given at reference, i would like to bring on your kind notice below details. Two air conditioners were purchased on dated 26/01/2018 (Xerox copy of croma bill is enclosed herewith)

(A) voltas s/ac 1.5t 183sy 3s

(B) voltas inv/ac 2t 243v eva 3s

Above both units were installed by your authorized service franchisee sv refrigeration on dated. 10/02/2018 & they charged rs.1200 for a/c stand & its fitting charges. A xerox copy of sv refrigeration service request no 4227 dated 10/02/2018 is also enclosed herewith.in opinion my a/c stand & fitting must be provided free along with the unit.

Now please take serious note of the following issue, why this has happen when air conditioners are purchased from authorized dealer or you may say from your own retail outlet.

(1) please find enclosed herewith the photograph of 1.5 t indoor unit where the right side bottom portion is bulging-out as compared to left side. Actually bottom-line must be straight.

(2) yesterday evening i. E. On dated 11/02/2018 some noise movement was heard from the

Out-door unit of 2 t air conditioner unit, when it was tapped, the squirrel jumped out from the out-door unit.

I checked the out-door unit & it was found that the quite large gap is open from where squirrel or rats can enter into the out-door unit. A photograph of wide gap is also enclosed herewith which clearly shows that such wide gap is sufficient for the entry.

It good that the unit was not in operation, other-wise there were chances for short-circuit.

Now you are requested to send your technical staff for verification & do the needful to resolve above both issues at an earliest convenience. Hope for an early response. More over today i have lodge complaint wide service no bow120218fs00021 & bow120218fs00022.

Please find enclosed herewith sv refrigeration service request no.4430 dated 13/02/2018, whereby the technician visited my residential place & has reported as below:

(1) he checked the 2 t outdoor unit, opened the top cover of the unit & showed me that there is no gap inside the unit. A/c is ok.

(2) he also checked the 1.5 t indoor unit & brought its bottom into a straight line.

For above two statements of technician i totally disagree & on the same service request no. 4430 i have clearly mentioned that (1) 1.5 t a/c is still not in a straight line (2) 2 t a/c fins on condenser quite large gap is still there. I have seen other a/c outdoor units.

I would again like to bring on your kind notice that in my letter of dated 12/02/2018 i have clearly mentioned about the physical defects which means only a look from out-ward appearance which means without touching the unit one can observe the defect. I hope you will agree with my point.

Now so far 2 t outdoor unit is concern a wide gap can even observed from the photograph of my letter of dated 12/02/2018. Copper pipes are open not covered with fins. I have taken the five photograph other outdoor unit which are enclosed herewith, which clearly shows that copper pipe are fully covered with fins & there is no gap for the entry of any rodent (Rodents include small squirrel, lizards, cockroach or any other small insect). Please compare these three photographs with the photograph attached in letter of dated 12/02/2018.

About 1.5 t indoor unit again i am enclosing four photograph of it, where your technician has claimed that bottom line of the unit is made straight to which i totally disagree. Photograph still shows that bottom line is not in straight line.
Please send some responsible person from your quality control department, who can observe the things minutely, so as to resolve the request.
I would like to bring on your kind notice that on dt.25/02/2018 mr. Kulin vora & mr. Kalubhai prajapati along with one technician visited my place personally & observed the defect of both air conditioners as under:

(1) mr kulin vora agreed that in 1.5 t indoor unit the base of the unit is not in a straight line & waves are quite visible & he told me that they can replace the outer of indoor unit. He took the photograph o[censored]nit with his own mobile camera.

(2) i showed him the gap in outdoor unit of 2 t air conditioner, where the copper pipes are not covered with fins & told him that small rodents like lizard, cockroach, small rats & squirrel can get inside the outdoor unit & damage the unit or it may even cause a short-circuit.

Mr kulin replied that gap left is because of the compressed fins, that can be rectified by pushing forward the fins & the gap will be covered. He got the top cover removed through his technician & checked the fins but could not extend the fins forward & the gap remained there as it was earlier.

He took the photographs of outdoor unit & explained me that this gap will not create any problem, it will not effect the working of the unit.

To mr kulins arguments, i replied i have checked the outdoor units of 2 t air conditioner & have taken photograph of it. I showed those photographs to him, where it is very clear that the copper pipes are fully covered with fins.

Moreover i told mr kulin that i am ready to come along with him to voltas warehouse to verify the outdoor unit at any place in my vehicle, to which he replied that he has to talk to his higher authorities & will inform me within two – three days but till date i have not received any reply.

I would like to bring on your kind notice that i have purchased brand new goods & not of the seconds quality goods. The defects are brought on your notice immediately after the installation of the both the units, on the contrary it is the duty of the s v refrigeration personals / technician to inspect the goods before installation, which they have not done & have installed the seconds quality goods..

Please note that after installation of both air conditioners i have not used it even for a single day nor i am going to use till both indoor unit of 1.5 t & outdoor unit of 2 t are replaced by brand new units as i have paid for it.

Please take an early decision as i am aged person of 70 years old, i don’t want to enter into long correspondence, i have purchased air conditioners for my comfort not for the harassment. Please take an early decision.

    Dear team,

    I have been facing service related issues with voltas service. I have complained about ac not working many times but still no resolution till date.

    Below are srs that i raised.

    1, 6-feb - [protected]
    Technician visited and collected 600rs but the problem appeared after he left my home. Supposed to collect 400 only but demanded 600rs!.

    2, 27-feb - [protected]
    Issue not resolved and also no amc request taken. Technician visited and collected money 1500rs for saying the motor problem. No updates as of now.

    3, 05-mar - [protected]
    Again no one has called and visited. Problem is not solved still.

    4, 08-mar
    Called toll free but i get the same story from the agent. No assurance of the resolution of the problem.

    Can voltas resolve issues related to customer appliances? I feel like, i un-necessarily bought volts ac, could have gone to bluestar or hitachi products which provides longer life and good support. Very poor service by voltas.

    Not resolved. There are two parts of it. One if repair which was done after multiple followups and spending money. Other issue is AMC for which am struggling to get a quote. Am not a engineer, I can't repair myself for future issues. You guys need to provide AMC for me for the product i bought from you.

    Do you have any update for me on resolution?

    On 10th March, Technician has visited and taken away our indoor fan motor. Since then there is no sign of local service!

    It's been a week since escalation and no sign of help as on date.

        Hi,
        My name is Ajmeri Begum my AC compressor is in warranty .Service center SR international voltas service center want money to transport the outdoor to their work shop .When My compressor is in warranty why would I pay Transportation charges. It the company responsibility to fix the issue as the compressor is in warranty. I request voltas to revoke my transportation charges, Else I have to file complain against voltas in consumer court and forum.

          I would like to inform you i had purchase voltas split ac through amazon then booked for installation i just wanna know why they are not able to provide free installation. Atleast first time installtion should be free. After that they can charge.
          But if you are installation fee you charge some genuine price for it. The installation engineer gave us estimate of rs 9000.

            Recently i have purchased one inverter type 1.5 ton split ac for my residence and for the operation of the wifi mode i have installed the voltas apps in my mobile. However, it is really surprising that after signing up with my mail id i could not link the website to varify my email id after clicking on the link provided by you after repeated attempts.               Dear team,

              My mother purchased voltas 2 ton 5 star standard split ac 245dye on 2nd april 2017 (Invoice number 38682/2016-17/3183). It was not cooling properly and is under warranty period with 1 year free service coupon pending. So i called voltas and registered complain for which "preventive maintenance request no [protected]" on 27th february.

              Their servicemen (Who don't even look like technicians, let alone engineers) came on 28th, did some blowing and all and said there is problem in outer unit for which other technicians will come after holi. So why do you send two technicians, none of which is capable of handling issue on his own and he wants other person to get the unit inside. They were so much in hurry that we offered them tea but they did not have it and within 10 minutes technicians were out of home. They didn't even bother to check it properly, and instead of checking by themselves they asked other technicians to come and check. Their behavior was totally unprofessional and not something one would associate with a leading brand of tata like voltas. We thought tata meant "trust", but just like cyrus mistry - we've been proved wrong.

              So on 3rd march, another two technicians came, who were not willing to take the outer unit inside. They were asking for someone else to get it inside, then carry it to their service station to check for gas leakage. We were willing to pay them extra to get it inside even if it was in warranty period but they were again in hurry and within 10 minutes, they were out of home. Who rectifies problem in such less time??? They asked us to call someone on phone no. [protected], who is not picking up phone, so how can we discuss and solve it.

              Honestly speaking, none of their so called technicians even can make out cause of problem n they keep on attributing this problem to any thing and every thing in world except admitting its their machine (So called voltas branded ac whose name is associated with trust) is faulty and to top of all their customer care is absolutely useless...

              All i want is assistance.

                I'm subhash reddy from kurnool sir.
                We bought voltas inveter ac 9 months ago.
                We got a message from voltas to book appointment for first free service. Immediately i made a call to voltas toll free number and booked an appointment for[protected]

                It has been 5 days since i booked appointment. We got a message from voltas about local service engineer named harsha vardhan reddy k. We made call to he is not responding properly.
                Please consider my request as soon as possible.

                  Hi team,

                  Frequently happening every time.
                  I bought this product on may 2017. There on the problem started.

                  Every month am complaining about the gas leaking and some technician coming and doing something and telling you wouldn’t get issue again. But after a month same problem repeats. The first technician told me that it was a defect piece and it wasn’t fixed but he tried it to fix. After that problem came and another 2 technicians came and did the same.
                  Finally concluded it wasn’t fixed and need a replacement.

                  And my last request on oct18, which is more than 20days, but still didn’t get any resolution.

                  Is the complaints really consider into account to resolve or it just a formality.

                  I spoke with 4 customer care executives and lady manager also in these last 3days and they told me that they are taking it as high level ticket to resolve. But no luck.

                  And the lady manager promised to replace the product as it was a defect piece.

                  Today morning i phoned to customer care and the lady executive is not have patience to listen my problem, she simply dropped the call saying drop a mail to this email id.

                  I don’t know you read all the mail or not
                  My finally word is replace the product or i will go to consumer court to take it on public
                  I fed up with your dam service and i don’t want to follow up with your customer care daily.

                  Note: i already spoke with hyd head muzeer
                  Nothing helped me to fix the issue.

                    Have been using voltas ac model lyb 1.5 ton from past 4 years which works well without any issue. When needed one more ac this year, bought voltas model 183 sy a week back believing on its reliability. After ac is installed little disappointed as its noise of fan blower is higher than my old ac but cant do much as it is already installed. Within this weeks time used it twice for few minutes and to my surprise when i switched it on it was not throwing the cool air and upon checking compressor is not switching on and outdoor unit is not working completely. Really surprised with such a quality from brand new product and from a tata company. Felt like cheated and complained on the same asked them to replace entire unit with new as i do not like a repair on brand new ac. Waiting for their technicians repose but this is really ridiculous as with my decision another 4 similar acs being bought my friends in the same apt building and its really embracing for me to advising to others also. Its remote also too big and there is no function of self cleaning there is no symbol when compressor on on the indoor unit. Wifi doesn't work. Really disappointed with the product size noise and this early complaint. Wish voltas guys take this seriously and replace the unit with some other model of my liking

                      This is senthil kumaran from chennai.

                      Actually last year i bought one air cooler from sathiya agencies on 15th march 2017 in omr perungudi chennai.

                      I'm using the air cooler limit use only. But the air cooler inside of the motor with mounting iron rod and all screws are got corrode. By chance any time to broken the iron rod in succeeding days.

                      Please rectify the issue asap. And also i have warranty period upto march 18 itself.

                      And i want one information from your side. Are you doing if any corrosion test for that material. Because the all iron material was corrode in my air cooler.
                      Actually 10 month before only i bought this one.

                      I hope you understand my queries.

                          I had 400 LTR deep fridge. It stopped working after 2 years I bought. I complaint and they said I had to pay 14000 for the repair (New fridge was for ₹ 25000). When I called customer service they said they can do nothing. They clearly say they have no control over their customer service centres. After all I decided not to get it repaired and buy new one. Obviously of other brand. Worse part comes here. They had just kept the fridge for about a week and did nothing. When I went back to center to get it back to home they demanded another sum of ₹ 500 just because I had to take fridge back. For this they were too eager and impolite. Not professional.
                          Products of the brand is only good if they are in warranty and after that they don't care about you.
                          Please don't even buy this brand. Buy on your own risk. I just wanted to make you aware.

                          Also I forgot to mention many time within 2 years technician visited as fridge would stop Colling the things. They had charged upto ₹ 3000.

But now without using for one day the machine is not cooling the room properly. But now the voltas service person came to visit today. They agreed the machine is defective. But they denied to replace the entire piece. It is to bring this matter to light that voltas is very casual in dealing with this matters. It is really unfortunate

                              I have always believed in tata for its products and quality service. After using a LG ac for almost 11 years and after a long discussion with my mom we ordered one ton Voltas split AC from Croma, Mulund (W) on 3rd march 2017.
                              Everything was good and after almost 6 months when the service technician visited for the first service he checked and told there's a little issue in the outside unit and said I will repair it now.
                              Last month it was the second service which was due and when the technician came to check he said there's an issue with outdoor unit as there's a gas leakage in the unit we will repair and put the gas I asked him why is the issue arising just in a year he didn't have an answer.
                              its just 10 months and the ac has started giving major issues like gas leakage god knows whats next.
                              in my past experience with lg 10 years there were no issues never and the last year gas leakage started and after that the life for the ac was finish in a year.
                              I don't want to loose money repairing gas leakage issues every now and then and get frustrated and change the ac.
                              after the service review we did a complaint at voltas and the customer service just said please talk to the dealer and they will resolve the issue.
                              As the product is in warranty and the outside unit being defective we requested for a change in unit.
                              after many calls and 24 hours request from voltas and chroma service executives another technician came at my place and again checked the ac and then said we will take the unit repair it and give it back.
                              I explained him about my previous experience with lg and said i dont want a faulty product and asked to speak to his manager if further explanation required, his manager denied of changing the unit and said we cant help it just leave.
                              its been almost a month after my second service till now there's no resolution to my issue.
                              When I contacted Croma they said it's not their job contact the company. When we contacted them they said contact service department. And when I spoke to the service department they are saying it can be repaired and not replaced. My split AC is under warranty. I have been given a faulty product. Why can't it be replaced? I never knew that u provide defective or faulty products and should I trust the brand again to buy any other product from TATA? I need a solution to this problem.
                              Technician who visited my place -
                              Mr.Amit parab from amit enterprise and he spoke to VV pawar his manager.
                              attached are images of warranty booklet which mentions replacements terms and conditions and photos of bill and service date and the output unit.
                              I hope its clear and I don't want the faulty product to be repaired I request for a change as written In the warranty terms and condition.
                              Kindly resolve the issue as it has already gone long and more than 20 days now.

                                    I bought a voltas ac from amazon. Amazon had a paid add-on service for installation of the ac. Within 6 months the gas has leaked. I called voltas. Voltas says the installation was not done by an authorized technician and they don't have any records regarding this.
                                    Amazon says i will have to pay for this as this is not covered under warranty. I asked how faulty installation done by the technician is the responsibility of the consumer, they have no answers for the same.

                                      Issue with highest priority, as it is about 1 month and not get
                                      Resolved, so that tata customer will not get harassed.
