My voltas window ac has been showing an error coded as "e1". Lodged a complaint twice but no action is taken since then, rather the response message said that there was no picking up of the phone but the call rang once and was declined. Then we lodged another complaint through the tollfree number and a new complaint was recorded which have been attached below. Today (5.10.2017) a new message was received that the problem was resolved over phone but there was no call.
The problem should be brought to solution as soon as possible or i will be obliged to take further actions.

    Bought voltas split ac on amazon - rs 30, 000/-; contacted voltas - they said rs1, 500/ installation plus extra for wire etc.. (I said it should be in the box) and distance is just 1-2 mts from. Window sill / behind the wall anyway said - ok.
    03/10/2017 this afternoonmtwo guys came - tried making a hole - drill not good enough - old house - told them use heavy drill or toolbit-
    As i already have 3 ac's fixed by other people -
    They said not their job - we have to make the hole - by contacting a mason or a heavy toolbit guy..??
    So i said i will get local guy to fix the ac -
    They went away warning that - they will not give any warranty.
    So they can't drill a hole - so i cant fix the ac and if i do it - no warranty... Is he a dealer or some kind of mafia..
    Definitely not customer service... From a tata. Company..??
    I think all these guys just make money.. For installation/gas filling etc... Bcoz we generally have not idea... Feel company should show more interest..!

      I have purchased split inverter ac from croma, r-mall, thane (W) on 24th sept'17.
      It was delivered to my residence on 25th sept'17 and was expecting installation by tuesday, 26th sept’17.
      However there were no phone call or instruction from croma or voltas.

      Eventually after 3-4 follow-ups with croma, ac was installed on 28th sept'17, thursday.

      Now the installation is a biggest mockery by voltas technician, bablu ([protected]).

      Bablu called me around 12:30 0n 28th sept'17 and his first question to me" do you know installation charges?... (In hindi).
      When i clarified him about free installation, he was insisting for extra expenditure like extra copper pipe, electric point and stand etc.
      Since i had provision of concealed ac socket, grill for outdoor unit which is closest from indoor unit and copper pipe provided with ac was enough, i refused all extra material and asked him to continue work as per the standards.

      Despite of all provision i had for split ac, babalu insisted for extra socket, 4 feet extra copper pipe (Rs.1000/-), white insulation tape (Rs.200/-) and brackets for outdoor unit (Rs.800).

      Since i was in the office, didn't have control to verify the need of all above extra material, so i asked him to at least produce rate card which he didn't carry. Hence i followed up with croma on [protected] (15:28_9 mins 6 sec) but they were helpless.

      Eventually i asked bablu to complete the work and write down all material costs/charges on job card once done!
      Accordingly not bablu but my father written it on job card and this unprofessional person left all the columns blank on job card as well as warranty card. Even he didn't bother to demonstrate about ac. He just collected rs. 2050/- cash from my father and simply ran away without providing job card copy or bill for extra material used.

      When i returned home, i realized the installation work was simply a chaos, no standards followed. Though there was enough space, extra socket installed on wall, brackets used though there was enough space for outdoor unit in grill box. The outdoor unit is installed in slanting position and that to in a place where it is squeezed, hardly 3-4 cm space between wall and unit.
      Leaving room wall is damaged due to unnecessary hammering to create a big hole for copper pipe.

      All the above incidences clearly suggest the person, bablu was not only unskilled but his intention was only to make money out of this visit.

      Regarding the same i complaint croma care and reopened service request sr[protected].

      I have been promised the reinstallation will be done as per the standard within 48 hours and i am still awaiting for the same.

      I need reinstallation and my rs. 2050/- refund as it was total fraud.

      My concern is resolved today! The VOLTAS technician visited my home and done inspection about the work. He also realized that, installation was mess and he send one of his senior technician Mr. Afzal, who did reinstallation as per the standard and this time it's really better! Though I didn't ask for Rs. 2050/- which was charged earlier, but VOLTAS team have installed my AC thoroughly. I thank this forum once again and I also appreciate Mr. Mandar Gurav(Voltas Technician: 9987621333) who extended spontaneous support. I hope there won't be such inconvenience in future and once again I shall bank on TATA! Regards

      Today following two different messages I received from Voltas which are again controversial;
      1st message at 10:12am
      "Dear Customer, Request No [protected] appointment scheduled for[protected]. For assistance call our Helpline [protected] (24x7) "

      2nd message at 16:09
      "Dear Customer, Request No [protected] appointment scheduled for[protected]. For assistance call our Helpline [protected] (24x7)"

      On the contrary, appointment fixed up on Sunday 8th September'17 at 11am. The technician name is Afzal and same been confirmed by Mr. Mandar Gurav over phone at 11:42.

      Then why these two different messages and who confirmed it?

        हमने voltas का window ac खरीदा था एवम् पड़ोसी को भी purchase करवा दिया था पर पिछले साल से ac के सामने की जाली पर बर्फ जम जाती है complaint करने पर दो बार मैकेनिक आये और कुल मिलाकर 6 thousands rs भी लिए पर बर्फ जमने की समस्या अभी भी वैसे ही है फोन करने पर फिर से इसी काम का 5 thousands rs मांग रहे है voltasके ac की बड़ी बढाई सुनकर ही खरीदा था पर अपनी की गलती को भोग रहा हू आप मेरे ac को ठीक करवाने मे कुछ मदद करने का कष्ट करे

          We had raised complaint for a fresh ac purchased from punalur kerala (Kurumpelil electronics in april 2017. (Model split ac 1.5 st 183jy 3s)

          We had logged the complaints on 19th august 2017 for non working & followed up with various personnel calls for repair of our ac, voltas ac
          Service engineers had taken away service parts on 19th augusts for repair & have still not got the same replaced

          Our ac is completely kept open for want of repair & there is no response from the team in-spite of various follow up...

          My parents are getting completely harassed by the company & now i am being forced to intervene for resolving this...

          Voltas has completely tarnished the image we had about the company, when we had purchased the same..

          Requesting once again to resolve the issue on priority

            I have purchased 5star split ac on 30/07/17 and install on 02/08/17 within one month blower broken and i have lodged complaint on 19/09/17 next day one person came and told that tomorrow i will arrange new blower. I have call on 20, 24, 27, 30/09/17 and 01/10/17 but no response only customers care told we will do. No any time limit. I am surprised for entire situation. Kindly help sir.               I was purchased a voltas inverter split ac from naveen electrotech pvt. Ltd.in model town, delhi-11009 on 26. Apr.2017. From after the installation, this voltas ac is not working properly.

              The main problem is that when temperature goes high above 30 degree it doesn’t take startup or working. After my complaint their executive came but they are unable to resolve the problem. First two months of purchasing voltas ac many times mr. G. S arora (Owner of local service centre) came and put water in the outdoor unit and also suggesting us to do the same, if you want your voltas ac work, instead of repairing or doing any permanent solution. What a shame for mr. G. S arora giving such type of suggestion. Can we hire a person just to put water in the ac?

              Then after my too many complaints mr. Kapil, so called area manager visited to our place and give some suggestions, like change the direction of the ac and make shed for the outdoor unit. I agree with their suggestions and do the same like changing the direction of outdoor unit or making shed for them and also change the direction of the internal unit as well. But after these changes and spending money suggested by mr. Kapil or we can say that drama, there is no any solution, the situation is still same.

              Again after complaint mr. Jitender, so called delhi head in-charge came and again doing their drama, put the gas again and other things, but the situation is still same, there is no any result.
              Even in the last visit of the company executive on 09.09.2017 by mr. Amit and mr. Anil, it is clearly written that ac needs a replacement. The ac was not working on that time because it’s a hotter day. If it is not capable of working even in september month, can we use it in winter season?

              But now after too much harassment or wasting my time and money, company refuses to repair or replace their faulty inverter ac.
              So from this post, i aware people do not buy voltas products because of cheap quality and providing such type of services. I am never expecting from tata selling poor quality products and services.

                I bought window ac in april 2016 though it is out of warranty but just 1year and 4 months old. It stopped working on its own. Techinician came and told panel is damaged will have to change costing 3000. Is it a joke oy baby toy u gave me. And inspite of contacting customer care many times no one is responding. They told me some senior manager will call but no one has contacted.

                  On 11sep 2017, i lodged a complaint against my volta's split ac about no cooling and then on 13sep 2017 service person came from atoz repairing shop, sonari, jamshedpur and told me to change the condenser tube into copper as the previous was of aluminum and they found a leakage on it. After a hefty service amount (₹8500) and a long service duration (9 days) just within 2 hrs after the installation abnormal sound coming from the outdoor unit.
                  Called several times but no response and feedback came.

                  Please help.

                    Hello sir,
                    am durairajan from 11/20, 2nd cross, ashok nagar, rms colony, karumandapam, tiruchirapalli, tamilnadu, india. I purchased voltas split a. C. 1.5 ton on 14.03.2017 now my copper tube insulation was damaged within 6 months is that the quality of voltas i can, t imagine that this was a voltas product i call upon the voltas near by service centre they said it cost 750rs but i have one year warranty period. How it supposed to damage within 6 months so poor quality i had faced. My neighbour bought lg on the same date but they did even get any problem in copper tube insulation i request you to change my copper tube insulation with free of cost immediately also i attached the photos verify and take action immediately.

                      I purchased voltas ac 1.5 year back. 1 month back it was showing error code e5 when i booked compliant in authorized services center. Engineer came and have look at ac and gave suggestion there is problem in indoor or outdoor circuit board which needs to be replaced can't be repaired. Why for one code entire circuit board needs to be repaired. They also gave estimate (29000 (Indoor +outdoor) we will bring new circuit board (Both indoor and outdoor) and check which is one is faulty based on that only you will be charged. When inverter ac is being sold at around 42000. This cost itself coming around 69% of ac cost. Can i get good solution for this one? But it was under warranty so they change but after this also the problem is still same. I have make more then 20 times in voltas customers care but engineer come and he start making story that voltage problem.

                        I bought voltas 1.5 ton 5star ac in oct 2015 through online by snapdeal. Since last 6 months there is no cooling happening, after the inspection of ac by repairing person he is saying gas is leaking through alu coil and coil need to be replace, i have filled gas twice. But all in vain as no cooling is lasting for more than 10 to 15 days. Vendor gave quotation of rs 7500 for aluminium coil replacement with copper one. I fill i am cheated by one of the reputed brand like tata as ac is not cooling not even for 2 years. Plz guide me what to do.

                          Sir,
                          On 25th august a technician from voltas attended the complaint. He changed the capacitor of a. C and also cleaned the a. C, at that time a. C compressor wasn't tripping and a. C was working well.
                          But from the night of 26th august the a. C compressor again started tripping again and again with in 5 min. (7-8 times/hr). The problem again started in the a. C.
                          So you are requested to please sort out this problem as the problem is as it is.

                            I was thinking voltas has a good customer support and service but they slapped in the face for 3 times and say we treat our customers as jokers and we dont concern about your complaints. I have registered a request for 3 times and they are not taking single step towards it. Am totally stressed and frustrated. I have planned to deal this issue through consumer court.

                              I have purchase a voltas 2 ton inverter split ac in july 2017. I have requested for its service on 13th sept 2017. I got a call on 15th a technician visited me on 15th and he said your ac required gas charging which will be done till 18th. Please check by which day gas charging request is approved from your side. Since 18th i everyday called thrice to these local service centre nos. [protected], [protected] 1st no. Is local service centre no. And second is technician no. They are not picking up my call.
                              I started calling on customer care no.[protected] twice or thrice a day since 18th. Every time i got the answers like i am sending a reminder, a mail, arranging a call from supervisor but i got neither a call or any kind of response from your call centre guys. That is pathetic when neither service centre nor a call centre is responding. I am asking for providing me a calling no. Or any email id from management lever but they said they have only one email id [protected]@voltas.com.
                              So there is no place in voltas where a consumer can complaint about the pathetic services provided by your service centre and call centres. I am keep calling and calling to get call centre supervisor but he is not available since all my calls. And every time i am getting the same answers like i am arranging u a call back.
                              If a simple gas charging took 8days in voltas then what time your service stations need to solve a bigger technical issues.
                              My ac is installed in a glass panneled showroom. It is suffocating to sit inside and my sales is hampered disastrously.
                              The kind of service you people have provided me now i will never gonna buy a voltas product nor recommend any of my knows.

                                One of the worst ever customer service.
                                I purchased voltas split ac, and while they fitted in my room there was an issue with the blades. The concerned service agent took almost a month to replace that blade and again within a day, the blade broke.

                                I am regretting of making a decision to buy voltas ac. Even after spending around 35thousand rupees and raising multiple complaints with voltas there is no proper response.

                                Either the piece is defected or the concerned service center people arent doing a good job in fitting correctly.

                                So please review this matter asap, i am having the ac without blades for past 3 months ever since i purchased the product.

                                  This is regarding complain no [protected] which i have logged on[protected] for non-cooling of my ac. The technician visited my house on[protected] and during investigation he told that there was low gas in the compressor and hence gas filling would be required. He filled the gas and charged 2300 rupees and didn’t provide any receipt to my wife and told her that no receipt is required for this; you can simply call me if any issue reoccurs, i would be here.

                                  Now, my ac is again not cooling. I called the engineer and service center they simply refusing my call. Why voltas has authorized these types of service center who and their engineer simply extort the money and making fool to customer.

                                  May i request you to please take up this case resolve the issue?

                                  I would and let my friends stay away from voltas product as their service is very very bad post sales. Their service center is only for extorting money from customer.

                                      Hi,

                                      In trust to getting proper action i am writing this to you. Its been 4 days now and problem with my ac (Which is under warranty - snap attached here) is yet not completed. Voltas maintenance number: [protected] registered on 10-sep-17.
                                      As per inspection done today (14sep17) by engineer (Sent by shan electronics-address:-madiya katra, agra — onbehalf of voltas) ac fan blade needs to be replaced and for proper room cooling gas needs to be filled as well. After this remarks engineer left and said ac pickup will be done within 1 hour for action (Keeping ac half inside room and half outside at wall which is dangerous as well — snap attached for reference). But there is no show from anyone and i am still waiting. Also when i tried to coordinate with engineer (Mobile: [protected]) who visited and shared his remarks based on inspection done, he is not picking phone. So tried to escalate this to shan electronics they said this doesn't comes under warranty even after showing genuine bill (Attached here as well) and also next person from his side will be visiting in next 24-48 hrs — which is not at all feasible in the condition which engineer left the ac.
                                      Also on this i have informed (Call/email) voltas over customer care - [protected],

                                        Last 4 month as i not used ac. But 2 times gas leakage so service person called. After they coming continuously water leakage coming. Again they serviced. But ac not working so informed again h6 display coming. Again they told board issue. So board taken with him.

                                        All the problems are coming due to person not fit for ac servicing. Totally i am not satisfied with voltos ac and servicing.
